What is a fast automatic car?
I need a fast coupe car that is an automatic, its not that i cant drive a stick, because i own a 6-speed wrangler and shift flawlessly, but I'm so tired of always shifting, and think it would be nice just to push a single pedal to drive. i was looking at like g35 or something i could get kinda cheap like 10k cheap.

Well one cheap automatic car could be a Crossfire SRT6, it has a V6 3.2 SuperCharged engine with 330 HPs which sounds good :D

If you want to test performance for automatics (which most magazines dont), you can use a car performance simulator, you can do all kind of test there.

I want to swap the engine in my civic and get a little more power, what engine can i swap in with out having to change motor mounts? i am thinking of a b18 and work on that engine up to a turbo build. ned some help! thanks.

depends on what civic you have. since i dont know what civic you have, i say ggo with a k20a2 from an rsx type s and get the rsx subframe. if you have a civic em2 everything should bolt up with subframe in. other than that, the k20a2 is still a great engine for any civic

Hahaha hondas are slow dont waste your money. If you do have the money for a turbo swap go buy something with balls. Like a real JDM such as A Nissan 240sx 300zx. Mustangs are cheap power also. Camaros are a classic also easy power. Also if you have enough money for a turbo build motor mounts are not your biggest concern. Let me put it to you straight a turbo build (the right way) will run you at least 6k your car will never be worth that much. And then youll be lucky to be pushing 400hp put 6k into a 300zx you have 600hp easy. 6k rb26 swap for a 240sx 310hp and a car that everyone will envy. Hondas are a waste of time unless its a newer 2011 or something dont bother just keep it as an economy car and buy something else for real power.
Now ill answer your question as if I was still a honda nerd. Fyi I do drive a 95 honda civic ex 5 speed on the weekdays ive had it since I was 16. Now assuming I didnt have any knowledge on how to get real power this is the build I would do.

You could stroke and bore it just because it wouldnt cost you much more it was only an extra 200 bucks on my cobra block for the bigger bore and stroke.
But with the amount psi your gonna be running you wont need to stroke it you might wanna keep as much metal as you can..
Done right this can be a 600hp build but more like 10k

Will it stil work? What are the implications? I am referring to the measurement of how many miles the car has driven. I think it's on the dashboard?

There are no real limits to the mileage. As long as the vehicle is cared for, maintenance is properly done and it avoids accidents theoretically a vehicle can keep driving for years.

This is why some well maintained vehicles are in the "Million Mile" club meaning that they have seen one million miles of road use.

Oh that's nothing. Just means that your car is going to explode.

Just kidding. It's called the Odometer and when it reaches the end (99,999.9 in most cars) it will "Flip" or "Roll Over" and go back to reading 00,000.0 and start counting again. If you plan on selling the car or getting it registered and titles in another state you need to remember that it has flipped and you need to add a "1" to the number.

For example you move and you register it when the odo reads 10,547.6 you need to remember that it is really at 110,547.6

when i was a kid i would pretend my bicycle was motorcycle and lean it into turns and go as fast as I could down hills.then one day I was on the boardwalk and i heard this rumble coming and then a large group of Hells Angels came around the corner and I saw my first choppers and i just knew I had to have one of those! Been building and riding chops since I was 17 thanx to that monent!

All my relatives had some kind of bike and I rode on the back or on the gas tank from the earliest age. Started riding dirt 41 years ago. I bought my first street bike a Triumph Bonneville at age 15, took my first solo XC trip across 3 states, Denver to Idaho, when I was 16. Since then I have rode and camped in about every western state including Hawaii. If I run into money I would like to tour europe on a bike.

He gave me a lot of time and several rides,got my butt kicked at home when they found out. He got nailed by a drunk driver and his son sold the bikes and the house.
I still had the fever and in `68 I hitchhiked to Grand Bend for the May 24 long weekend. The Black Diamonds out of Toronto were there. Total class act.

Google chrome is fast and its got a spell checker built in the same as many other browsers apart from IE9.

As for security, other browsers are secure but Google Chrome is unhackable. Thats not my opinion, its a fact. HTML and JavaScript processes are isolated, and each tab is sandboxed separately from the rest of the computer. Even if hackers did find a bug to exploit they would have to find a way out of the sandbox to actually attack the rest of the system and that's not going to happen.

Google Chrome has been the only browser not to be hacked at the CanSecWest Pwn2Own contest for the last 2 years despite google offering $20,000 prize money to anyone who can hack it.

All other browsers where hacked including firefox with Safari being hacked in seconds and IE hacked using 3 different techniques.

hello, i am new to linux but am trying to learn, so far i have tried ubuntu, and slackware with little success getting installed correctly. ubuntu hangs during install, and slackware reverts to nothing but white backlit screen after startx, tried without success to change video settings and window manager please help i want to learn

ok, so far i have tried dsl linux, very fast, but i havent figured out how to set up wireless on it yet, and tried xubuntu 10.10, it worked on the live cd and internet was super fast for old computer, better than my new windows 7 laptop, i couldnt get over the speed, now i am going to try version 9.10 to see if that one installs, thanx for all the advice.

Well this is a toughie if you are new. Not that it can't be done, just that it might get a little hairy for a user with less experience.

You might want to look into Xubuntu, Debian with Xfce, or DSL (Damn Small Linux)

The biggest problem you will face is the memory, in order to run a GUI comfortably you should acutally have more like 512MB of memory. So keep that in mind, that you want applications and settings that use the least memory.

Answer 2:

As you can see from the first link you do not have enough ram to install ubuntu, and you might also not have a cpu and graphics card that is fast enough.

You might be able to install ubuntu using the alternate install cd whcih does not use a graphical installer but a text based installer. See the second link.

You might have better luck using xubuntu which is ubuntu with a light weight desktop; it does not use gnome or kde. It need 256 ram.

After you do get linux installed you will not be able to use the eye candy like compiz and the graphics enhancements.

The last link has some other linux distros that can run on 256 ram. For best result be sure to read the instructions for installing linux and how to get it running properly.

You should be able to get your ram up to 512 cheaply- do it if you can.

I think it's because "ea download manager" is runing on back ground, to close it > on right corner of your screen, click on the "<" to see all notification icons on your windows tray, and right click on a white/green round "ea" icon and choose close or exit, then try uninstalling the game.

edit: i read somewhere that you might canceled an update in the middle of downloding and corrupt some files, but i suggest deleting it all, and also delete your sims 3 folder in your "my document" and install it again.

Honestly, I would say it is really up to the user. If someone started using a computer without any knowledge of Windows or Mac, they could go either way. Myself, being a Windows user, absolutely hates using a Mac, it can be rather tedious. Although the same may be said for an avid Mac user, trying out Windows.

1.are you allowed to modify the network

It entirely depends on the type of filter you have, there are some really strong filters out there. You can either use proxy's but they may be blocked. Use different web browsers and using the 'Private browsing' window. OR you could always use CMD. By typing ping (instert website here) so... 'ping facebook.com it should respond with the website and you should see an IP Address, and type that into the address bar. But again it really does depend on your internet filter.

Sure. You can bring you own laptop and surf on your own network during your break. You can do a little job search for a place that allows it if you don't mind getting fired over that. There's a good reason why they have that in place. Every second of the day someone is trying to break into their system and they probably get either hundreds or by the thousands of attacks around the clock from armies of hackers trying to infiltrate their system. Knowing that, do you still want to go to Facebook or wherever that could put the server at risk? can you do your job without the internet? it stinks trying to work without it in my field. if you're ok with it then you should mention that to them so they can help you out.

If your using a PC with access to host files, you could try editing it under c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/hosts

Look for the file name HOST and open it with Notepad, delete host files that are blocking the website you are trying to access, eg..

What are you experiencing? Only thing I can think of is that input and output streams (cin, cout) might not be in stdio.h, but in a different header file.

First of all, you should go to device manager and see if CD drive is visible, and if visible and then say update driver, and chose to find from default location. That might help.

How old is your computer? Is is laptop or desktop? If it desktop, you can check connections to CD rom, if it laptop, you have hard luck. If it is within warranty, you can call technical support.

I don't think you have restore date available to purchase date. And even if you have available, you will loose all the software installed since. And specially you will have problems with McAfee again like last time. So beware.

System restore wont work if the problem is due to hardware failure.

To fix the problem you can get a free utility ,beside solving this problem it can solve 40 other pc problems too. Good thing is its a free software. Download it. It has two versions one for xp and other for 7.If you run the software you will find list of 40 problems. Choose your problem (its in the list), it will fix it.

I have always watched videos by beauty gurus or vloggers like KevJumba, nigahiga, juicystar07, ARose186, thatssociciyo, etc etc. I enjoy watching their videos, and am thinking of uploading some myself too.

How ever, I do not know how to apply makeup, neither do I know much about anything beauty-related, so being a beauty guru is out of the question. I don't exactly have the most exciting life either, unlike bfftaylor.

Would anyone actually want to watch videos of me just talking about my life, sharing my opinions on certain stuff, or perhaps doing some tag videos like the "what's in my purse" tag or room tours, like the vlogs beauty gurus do?

Also, what kind of videos do you like watching and what kind of youtubers would you subscribe to?

I'm not exactly hoping to be famous like nigahiga or juicystar07. I'll probably be really surprised even if the number of subscribers hit a 2 or 3-digit number, although having a lot of subscribers would be great. If I make videos, they'll mostly be out of boredom and an outlet for me to voice my opinions, anything more would be a bonus for me.

I've just changed from DVI to HDMI output from my video card to my Acer b273H monitor. I have it set to 1920x1080 and the display settings confirm that, however the black border remains between the display and the edges of the screen.

I have tried to adjust the vertical and horizontal aspect of the picture using the buttons on the front of the monitor but that setting is greyed out and unavailable, where all the other settings are not.

Any help so that i can get full screen would be greatly appreciated. If i can't sort it out i'm gonna have to revert back to DVI and that would suck.

Sounds like a scaling issue. You probably have a control manager for the video card. Can only be ATI or Nvidia. Right click on your desktop and left click the control manager. If it is an Nvidia card look for something that says desktop size and position in the pane on the left. If it is an ATI card click on the word Graphics in the upper left corner. Click Desktop & Displays in the drop down menu. Right click on the monitor and left click Configure. Go to the Scaling Options Tab. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

I am not able to get onto my laptop as it keeps saying i have a virus on it, despite the fact that i have norton security on it and i also downloaded malwarbytes too! it will not even let me get on internet explorer and keeps prompting me to buy anti virus scan which you have to pay for in us dollars. i don't understand why this is happening especially as i still have over 200 days remaining on my norton protection. can anyone tell me why this is happening and what is best to do please. thanks.

Switch off your computer by holding the off switch until it switches off. Switch on again and you will get a warning of unexpected shut down and how you want windows to start. Select open in safe mode (without prompts) and let it switch on in safe mode. You can now run Malwarebytes which will get rid of the virus for you and keep it off. Switch off and start the computer normally and it should now not be there. This is a new type of virus that Norton and Malwarebytes are having trouble getting rid of. I had the same problem on my laptop and fixed it using the above method.Try downloading a free firewall like PCtools or Comodo as these are good in stopping them coming on in the first place and warn you when they try to invade your computer.

We had a friend build us a computer and he neglected to install drivers for several things. They've all been sorted, but there is still one unknown piece of hardware on it. I followed the steps for the hardware wizard to figure out what it was, but had no luck.

No, you don't get notified. I think POSSIBLY you can check your page and if they haven't rejected or accepted it says "Friends Request Pending" but I don't know if that stays when they reject you or not.
