Discussion Reports
Discussions reports works in the same way like tasks reports. You can create several reports and filter discussions by status or project and display report in home page

New Discussions model
I redevelop discussions and make it more useful, so now you can select users for discussion and you can create related tasks for discussion

Gantt Chart
There was a lot of request to add Gantt Chart so I added it. You can see Gantt chart for each project or for overall projects in reports

Multi assign users for one task
Sometimes it’s very useful assign several people to one task so now it’s possible

New fields
add Start Date and Progress in tasks fields. These fields can be used for Gantt chart.

New translation
Added French translation. Thank you Maxime for the help with translation

Update from latest versions
1. Download file qdPM_upgrade_package_from_5.3_to_5_5.zip from https://sourceforge.net/projects/qdpm/files/ This file contain only core files, there is no configuration files in this package so you can just rewrite files. Note: I changed qdPM folders structure so you will find core folders (app, lib etc) in ‘qdpm/core’ folder
2. run sql query in update_from_version_5.3_to_5.5.sql (you will find this file in qdPM_upgrade_package_from_5.3_to_5_5.zip)
3. add next lines
use_tasks_timetracker:    on
use_tasks_ganttcharts:    on
in app.yml file under ‘use_tasks_groups:         on’  and set it on/off
4. Clear ‘Cache’ Folder
5. I added user right to allow manage discussions so after upgrade files go to users group and check permissions.

Last Task Comment Preview
On tasks listing page you can see the name of the person who made last comment. Move mouse on the name and you will see javascript popup window with text of last comment. So using this feature you can easy do tasks overview.

Filter Projects by Users
Added user filter on projects listing page. Using this filter you can see projects where user is in team.

Filter Tasks by Assigned to
Added user filter on tasks listing page.

Reports sort order
Added sort order function to reports. This function will be useful if you have more then one report displaying on home page.

Update form latest versions:
1. There is no db update in this version so just copy new files. Also see \doc\DBUpdates\ if you are not using qdPM 5.2 version

Support Tickets
Support tickets in qdPM is useful bridge between clietn->manager->programmer. In configuration area we can set which users group can manage tickets and as an example we can allow clients manage support tickets only. So client go to PM and create new ticket.

as you can see in screenshot tickets can assigned to department, has status and type. All these things can be configured in configuration area.

Manager can easy check tickets and  create related tasks for each tickets and on ticket page he can see related tasks and on task page he can see related ticket. It’s really save time to find the information that we need.
We can set off manage tickets for programmers so programmers can see only tasks and can’t see related tickets and other tickets…

Users groups
Added two new parameters to allow manage tasks and allow manage tickets. After update from latest version you have to check group rights.

Scheduler
Now each user can have personal scheduler. I integrated http://www.dhtmlx.com/docs//products/dhtmlxScheduler/index.shtml scheduler in qdPM. So now each user can easy plane his time.

Reports
Added function to multiple edit tasks in report where you can easy select tasks and change tasks status for example.

Email Notification
Updated email notification and when do multiple tasks edit and change status or edit tasks and change status notification will be send. Also update emails titles anded task type and status to title.

Translations
Now there are three translation available in 5.0 version: German, Dutch and Russian (thanks Frank and Max for their help with translation). I used google translator for other translations but some words are completely wrong. If you want to help with translation in your language go to http://qdpm.qds-team.com/?page_id=44

Project multiple edit and export
Now you can select multiple projects and change status or type. Also you can do xls export selected projects. All project fields + extra fields will be exported + total of numeric values in extra fields will calculated. So it will be useful to see some project statistic.

Dutch translation
There is Dutch translation in this version. Thanks Frank and Kevin for their help with the translation.

Mail Configuration
Added some configuration values in apps/frontend/config/app.yml where you can set option to use a single e-mailaddress to send all e-mails from. You can use this option if you have issue with spam filter like in this example http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anti-spam_techniques#PTR.2FReverse_DNS_checks Thanks Frank for his help with this issue.

Sometimes we need to have some extra fields for tasks like “fixed price” or “used time” or “bunged” for project and we want to see total value of these extra fields and see values of these fields in item list

Now we have new type “Number” and new option “Display in list” for projects, tasks, and users extra fields.
If we set type “number” fields total value calculated automatically
if we set option “Display in list” on, fields value will add to item list

Also now in configuration file apps/frontend/config/app.yml you can configure site with. This can be useful if you have a lot of extra fields in item list and need more space to show data.
