Nasty Pig’s founder recently told his fellow daddy bottoms to put on their most scandalous jockstrap and get out there!

David Lauterstein’s rallying cry came in response to the long-standing problem of ageism in the gay community. While acknowledging the scene can be more difficult to navigate at a certain age, he says approaching the streets with confidence is key.

“Get out there and feel confident in yourself,” he said on the Dads and Daddies podcast. “Nothing ventured, nothing gained.”

The owner of an iconic fashion brand, it’s hard to imagine Lauterstein lacking for confidence. But he says he’s felt alienated, especially when recovering from surgery. That’s when Nasty Pig’s COO pushed him to stop moping and hit the dance floor.

His advice worked.

With all of the focus on age and aesthetics, it can seem like there’s no place for older guys in the scene–or anyone with a shade of gray in their hair. But we know that’s ridiculous. With age, men become more experienced, more mature and more settled.

If judgmental young people can’t see that now, they will eventually. Everybody, we mean everybody, eventually ages out of twinkdom.

It seems quaint now, but the first major scandal of Tr*mp’s presidency was all about crowd size. The sparse crowd that attended his inauguration in 2017 at the National Mall paled in comparison to the droves of people who attended Barack Obama’s, as photos comparing the two events clearly showed.

An estimated 1.8 million people were at Obama’s, while roughly 1/3rd of that total made the trip to D.C. for Tr*mp. Yet, OG Tr*mp mouthpiece Sean Spicer stood at the White House podium and falsely declared it was the “largest audience to ever witness an inauguration, period.”

Now nearly a decade later (we can’t believe it’s been that long, either), history is repeating itself. Tr*mp’s Great American Fair was billed as a 16-day party that would celebrate America’s 250th birthday. But so far, the event has been a complete bust, and the National Mall is empty. Not that we’re surprised: almost every musician on the original slate pulled out upon learning how MAGA-aligned the festival really was. Appropriately, one of the few musical acts who stayed on, Vanilla Ice, had his concert canceled due to rain.

While inclement weather didn’t prohibit Tr*mp from kicking off the ill-fated affair last week, enthusiasm was certainly dampened.

As we approach the holiday weekend, the Great American Fair is supposed to pick up, with Tr*mp slated to speak again on the Fourth. He dubiously claimed “45,000 people” saw him air his typical grievances last week.

Going by the empty patches of grass that Fox News keeps broadcasting, we would say the true number of fairgoers is considerably smaller. Tr*mp’s favorite propaganda network is airing wall-to-wall coverage of the dismal gathering, and it’s not doing him any favors.

The network’s hosts keep harping on the number of people there, even though all video and photographic evidence points to the contrary.

The ratings-obsessed president must be fuming at what he’s seeing. Meanwhile, we’re cackling!

“There’s tons of people here”

Tr*mp cabinet officials have one job: glazing the president. For Dr. Oz, that meant standing on stage Monday with washed up actor Dean Cain and boasting about the nonexistent crowd size.

“There are tons of people here, it’s a huge space, and it’s just going to get more and more crowded as the week goes on,” said Cain.

Oz added that “a lot of people” were there, including the next governor of Pennsylvania, Stacy Garrity, who has little chance against popular Democratic incumbent Josh Shapiro.

Oz and Cain’s humiliating spiel was broadcast all over TV and social media, including on TMZ. The muckraking outlet’s camera crew then panned to the alleged audience, which was as real as any one of Tr*mp’s megalomaniacal delusions.

“If this happened in North Korea it’d be on Fox News for a month,” added a popular New York gay who posts under the name “alxndr.”

Fox News, of course, is broadcasting live from the Great American Fair for what seems like a month. But the network is trying to cover the failed festival with a gaudy, gold-tinted spin.

Unsurprisingly, it’s not working…

Sad excuses

To kick off coverage on Sunday, an anchor asked Fox White House reporter Peter Doocy if he ever thought he would be “doing his Sunday show from a state fair at the National Mall?”

The long-time correspondent mustered the most accurate statement of the week: “it’s really something.”

To Doocy’s credit, he certainly got that right. The whitewashing on Fox ranged from outright lying–“we’ve got thousands of people celebrating with us”– to downright pathetic.

During one now-viral hit, correspondent Lucas Tomlinson pledged the crowd would pick up once the stock market closed. “Perhaps now that the closing bell is here, we’re gonna get more people out here now that the work day is done,” he said.

Yeah, we can only imagine the hoards of rich bankers rushing out of their offices on a hot summer afternoon to see a cow named Melania.

The MAGA vibe shift is over… if it ever really existed

Chock full of symbolism, the epic fails at the Great American State Fair signify a movement at its end. The ice cream machines are broken, the ferris wheel is frozen, at least 11 state booths are empty (North Carolina’s briefly featured the Confederate flag).

But our favorite self-own is the teeny tiny Tr*mp replica. It’s giving… Spinal Tap.

Buoyed by a small popular vote win, Tr*mp and his MAGA apparatchiks mistook Americans’ frustration over inflation and the cost of living with a widespread mandate to remake American life in the face of their regressive politics–and the 80-year-old president himself. But with Tr*mp’s approval ratings in the toilet (-19), they’re experiencing the folly of their arrogance.

Not that they’d ever admit it. There’s a Great American Fair to sell!

When I was coming to terms with my identity, my sexuality. I didn’t [have songs or artists he related to.] There wasn’t a lot. 

So I think one of the things when I got into this business after “Idol,” I wanted to own it. I wanted to be proud publicly of who I was and talk about it as — in some hope that it would create a ripple effect of positivity for people. 

I think at that time visibility was so, so, so important. because there wasn’t a lot of — in people’s minds in the mainstream public there wasn’t a big diversity of what the LGBTQ community looked like. It was kind of like a couple stereotypes so I was like, let’s be proud and open and not be shameful about it.

A third user wrote the best part of bottoming is “the look in his eyes as he enters me, and knowing at that moment it is I who has control. Ahead of his role in Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey, Elliot Page is looking as jacked as a Greek statue.

On Monday—a day after many cities across the U.S. celebrated Pride Weekend—the 39-year-old actor/filmmaker showed off a gym progress pic that left the internet stunned, bearing some bulging biceps and abs of steel. Yeah, we’d be proud of that bod, too!

Specifically, he shouted out his coach Nolan Hansen, the trainer & athlete who founded the Trans Boxing club and works out of the world-famous Gleason’s Gym in Brooklyn, NY.

“I’ve been incredibly fortunate to train with [Hansen,]” Page writes in an Instagram caption. “He’s a brilliant teacher, not just in the way he breaks down complex movements, but also in his strategic understanding of boxing and his thoughtful approach to the psychological side of the sport.”

And we can see proof that training has paid off: it’s not just in the muscles, but also in the excellent form & footwork on display in the sparring videos included in the post.

“Training with Nolan has become an essential part of my life,” the actor continues. “If you’re in NYC and looking, I can’t recommend him highly enough. Just be warned, you may end up getting as hooked as I am.”

That’s quite a ringing endorsement! As are the hundreds of supportive—and thirsty!—comments on Page’s Instagram: “RIP CITY,” writes King of Showbiz Murray Hill, “SHREDDED,” adds comedian James Tom, whose stand-up show Less Lonely was produced by the star back in 2023.

And actress Julia Shiplett (Overcompensating)—who made her relationship with Page “Instagram official” last Pride Month—left the suggestive lip-biting emoji, making her feelings known for her partner’s jacked gym bod.

The images have spilled over to other social media platforms like X, where plenty of fans have been admiring Page’s form and fit physique: “Elliot Page showing better footwork than 90% of the “boxing fans” on my timeline,” one user writes. “He’s so f*cking hot,” adds another.

Notably, the post comes after some pathetic transphobic “backlash” to Page’s casting in Christopher Nolan’s Greek epic The Odyssey. Conservatives (wrongly) assumed the actor was playing mythical Trojan War hero Achilles and lamented that a trans actor—who they tried to paint as weak & diminutive—might be depicting one of the most feared and revered warriors on the battlefield.

But Page is looking pretty darn warrior-like in these new gym pics, in our opinion! Never mind the fact that Achilles is a fictional character, making their “anti-woke” butt-hurt look especially embarrassing…

And, besides, new reports suggest Page isn’t even playing Achilles!

Per Them, a Hungarian publication might have let slip that he’s actually playing someone named Sinon, another fictional character who happens to not be in The Odyssey at all, but rather Virgil’s epic poem Aeneid. In that story, Sinon is a cousin of Odysseus (played by Matt Damon in Nolan’s film) who manages to convince the Trojans to accept the gift of a giant wooden horse, which of course does not end well for them.

Anyway, it’s just another reason why the conservative reaction to Page’s casting is nothing more than overblown rage-bait that’s better off ignored.

Meanwhile, Page seems to be, rightfully, unbothered. Per his Instagram, he’s been spending his Pride Month hanging out with his girlfriend and getting some fresh air (something we suggest everyone log off and do).

He’s also been busy making the press rounds in support of the documentary Second Nature, which he narrates and executive produces. The acclaimed film takes a look at how queerness and gender nonconformity exists throughout the animal kingdom, dispelling myths and proving that the world around us is endlessly diverse.

In a recent guest appearance on Ilana Glazer’s podcast It’s Open, Page spoke about the doc, while also opening up about finding happiness in a form of healthy masculinity:

“Healthy masculinity to me is… leaning away from whenever there is some sort of impulse or expectation you’ve put on yourself to like shut down or conform,” he says in a viral clip from the pod. He suggests that he used to downplay certain physical behavior, but “ever since transitioning” he’s been smiling so much more.

Knowing that, it warms our hearts to see Page’s smile is on full display in those recent gym pics—you just might have to peel your eyes away from those abs to notice. 😉

Actor Claybourne Elder was among the performers at a special concert in honor of Liza Minnelli’s 80th birthday.

“Liza! at 80: A Celebration in Song and Dance” took place last Thursday at Carnegie Hall in New York City. Minnelli was never specifically billed to turn up and did not do so, leaving some fans disappointed as they hoped for a surprise appearance.

However, even without the birthday girl, the audience enjoyed a packed evening of entertainment. Mo Rocca (CBS Sunday Morning) and Tony, Grammy, and Emmy winner Marc Shaiman (Hairspray) hosted the event.

Claybourne Elder (The Gilded Age) posted photos of his appearance to his Instagram yesterday. Many could not fail to notice the gay thespian’s figure-hugging leather pants.

“The gayest thing I could do for pride is sing at Liza Minnelli’s 80th birthday in leather pants at Carnegie Hall. Thank you Jack Cummings and @transportgrp for having me and @nicolewilsonnyc @nicolewilsonphoto for the photos. Happy Pride y’all,” Elder said in an accompanying caption.

“On behalf of all gays, we are grateful for leather trousers 🥵,” said one well-liked reply.

“The leather pants are everything. 😍” agreed another. Others said they had to zoom in to the photo for a closer inspection.

Others to perform at the tribute event included Mario Cantone (And Just Like That…), Robyn Hurder (Moulin Rouge), Kate Baldwin (Hello, Dolly!), Kristin Chenoweth (Wicked) and Minnelli’s sister, Lorna Luft. Guest speakers included Emmy winner Candice Bergen (Murphy Brown) and fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi (Chicago).

The show featured songs from across Minnelli’s 60-year career. Check out Mario Cantone singing “Say Liza (Liza with a ‘Z’)” below.

Audience members also each received a signed copy of Minnelli’s recent memoir, Kids, Wait Till You Hear This!

In a statement released several weeks in advance of the show, Minnelli said, “I am grateful and honored that my collaborators and career are being celebrated at Carnegie Hall this summer. [Producing company] Transport Group is a brilliant creative force, and their tributes are always filled with equal measures of talent, heart, and music. I believe this will be a magical evening, and I hope to see all my New York friends at the performance. It was planned as a birthday party for me, and my calendar made June 25th the perfect date. Turning 80 means you celebrate your birthday as long as possible.”

Minnelli turned 80 on March 12, 2026.

It has been a no good, very bad week for White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller.

In a sit-down interview with Fox News’ resident homophobe Laura Ingraham yesterday, Miller threw a fit over Supreme Court Handmaiden Justice Amy Coney Barrett authoring a 5-4 opinion allowing states to count mail-in ballots postmarked on or before Election Day but that arrive later.

“Let’s just call it like it is,” he seethed to Ingraham at the sparsely-attended Great American State Fair. “Justice Roberts and Justice Barrett decided to cave to the radical left.”

“It’s Election Day, not election week, not election month, not election months!”

He then went on to call the whole thing a “travesty” and said it’s all the more reason why Congress must pass Tr*mp’s Save America Act, before descending into his usual brand of fearmongering that we won’t bother to repeat here.

If that wasn’t bad enough, this morning Miller got another reality check when the Supreme Court upheld birthright citizenship by rejecting an executive order issued by Tr*mp declaring children born to people who are in the United States illegally or temporarily are not U.S. citizens.

In addition to being a staunch opponent of LGBTQ+ rights, particularly trans rights, Miller is one of the chief architects behind Tr*mp’s anti-immigration agenda. He’s also been one of the loudest critics of the 14th Amendment, which was ratified in 1868 to say, “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside.”

Just the other day, he went on Fox News to demand SCOTUS issue a unanimous ruling that does away with birthright citizenship, saying it was the only way to save our democracy.

“If this country doesn’t, one way or another, end birthright citizenship, this country doesn’t have a future,” he insisted. “Citizenship has to be sacred and precious.”

Sadly for him, SCOTUS doesn’t take orders from a manchild having a televised temper tantrum because the Constitution refused to give him the answer he wanted.

Against Miller’s wishes, the Court ruled 6-3 to uphold nearly 160 years of precedent and preserve birthright citizenship. Chief Justice John Roberts wrote the opinion for a majority and was joined by liberals Justices Sonia Sotomayor, Elena Kagan and Ketanji Brown Jackson and conservative Justices Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Coney Barrett.

All this comes just days after Miller was reportedly “blindsided” by Tr*mp when the 80-year-old president nominated Richard “Lance” Schroyer, a former Oklahoma highway patrolman, to lead ICE.

Schroyer was picked by Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin, not Miller, who is supposed to be Tr*mp’s immigration lead. And that appears to have hurt his feelings almost as much as losing those two Supreme Court fights.

“Everyone was blindsided by the selection,” an insider told Punchup, suggesting Miller’s grasp over the president appears to be slipping. “He may be getting boxed out,” the source added.

Others within ICE are also said to be fuming over Schroyer. Another source told Punchup, “Troops not happy at all. Senior leaders not happy. No experience. He was a trooper. But that’s it. Never a boss. Never a leader. Never had to manage a budget. Now he has $78 billion dollars. Now he has 32,000 employees.”

With stellar qualifications like that, it’s no wonder Tr*mp picked him!

A spokesperson for the White House called Punchup’s report “total fake news” and said Miller was fully aware of Tr*mp’s decision and “involved in the process and very supportive.” You choose who you want to believe.

Clearly, given everything, Miller’s not a happy camper right now. But at least he’s got his transphobic wife Katie to comfort him with a fresh plate Mickey Mouse waffles.

Somehow it’s already the end of Pride Month, which came and went before we could even catch our breath! If you happened to miss a few things that have gone down on the internet while you were busy celebrating, you’d be forgiven. But that’s where we come in…

Over the past few weeks, we’ve gotten first looks at the latest queer films & television shows—everything from a gay spin on saw, to a documentary about a sexy TV trailblazer, to the latest from New Queer Cinema auteur Gregg Araki, to the highly anticipated movie conclusion to the Heartstopper story, which has us tearing up just thinking about it!

Bang My Box: The Robin Byrd Story

Back in the ’70s, NYC gave power to the people with public access television, and one of the voices that managed to rise above the airwaves was Robin Byrd, an adult film star whose eponymous chat show represented a wild & sex-positive new frontier for late-night TV. Proudly bi, she welcomed on folks from the full spectrum of gender & sexuality, and became a vital resource for information during the AIDS crisis, too. Now, in this fabulously fun documentary, Byrd is looking back on her unlikely rise to fame and reflecting on her legacy.

After finally coming out to his mother, Germán realizes he’s never experienced “romantic love,” so he sets out on a noble quest to find the one, one date after another, in this quirky look at modern dating and the way the internet’s changed how we connect, desire, and commit.

Red Light

If you’ve ever wondered, “What would the Saw be like if it were about gay guys?,” have we got a movie for you! From Cuban actor-turned-filmmaker René Lavan, Red Light takes a familiar premise—two guys wake up in a locked room with no memory of how they got there & no clue how to get out—and gives it a queer twist. Wearing nothing but their underwear, Blake (Jeffry Batista) and Alex (Justin Powell) will have to work together if they want to survive, especially the threat of danger seems to heighten their sense of desire.

Survival Of The Thickest, Season 3

The hilarious Michelle Buteau’s comedy series follows one woman’s struggle to to have it all in NYC, from romance to a respected career in the fashion world. But Survival Of The Thickest knows that succeeding in life is all about the friends you surround yourself with, and the series has always been an affirming and queer- inclusive story about chosen family, especially via its groundbreaking support turn for Peppermint. And in this final season, keep an eye out for cameos from Jonathan Van Ness, Alex Newell, Kandi Burruss & more.

Heartstopper Forever

Across three seasons and four years, the world has fallen in love with Nick Nelson (Kit Connor) and Charlie Spring (Joe Locke) in this groundbreaking teen romance series. And soon it’ll be time to say goodbye with Heartstopper‘s feature-length finale, supersized to make space for all the feelings, no doubt! It’s senior year for Nick and many of their friends, so naturally everyone’s looking ahead to the future, leaving the couples wondering if they’re in it for the long haul, or if they’re fated to be another teen relationship that doesn’t last.

I Want Your Sex

It’s been 12 whole years since New Queer Cinema auteur Gregg Araki has made a feature film, but his candy-colored sex comedy proves he hasn’t missed a beat, as sharp and irreverent as ever in his examination of the agony & ecstasy of being human. After scoring a job at the gallery of provocative pop artist Erika Tracy (Olivia Wilde), wayward twenty-something Elliot is surprised to be quickly selected for a promotion: her sexual muse. Also starring Mason Gooding, Chase Sui Wonders, Margaret Cho, Charli XCX & Araki regular James Duval.

Dreams In Nightmares

Writer-director Shatara Michelle Ford’s sophomore feature is a road-trip movie brimming with color and life, one realized by a majority Black queer & trans cast. Out of a job and haunted by mysterious dreams, Z (Broadway star Denée Benton) links up with her two BFFs for a much-needed vacation, but the group instead decides to take an impromptu journey across the country in search of a long-lost friend who’s gone off the grid. Along the way, they’ll come across familiar faces played by Charlie Barnett, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and more.

On The Sea

In a small, remote town on the rocky coast of Northern Wales, middle-aged mussel farmer Jack (Barry Ward) has never strayed from the life that was laid out for him, marrying his childhood sweetheart and raising their son to one day take over the family business. But when he sparks a connection with a young deckhand (Lorne MacFadyen) passing through town, he begins to question everything. Filmmaker Helen Walsh’s romantic drama is a salty yet soulful meditation on masculinity, intimacy and belated sexual awakenings.

The drama continues behind the scenes at CBS…

Anderson Cooper reportedly infuriated CBS boss Bari Weiss when he signed off from 60 Minutes and pleaded for the storied news magazine show to remain independent.

During a subsequent appearance on the now-cancelled Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the out anchor called out “very meek, boldface names” in big business and media who have capitulated to the Tr*mp administration’s authoritarian whims.

Now, with Paramount of the precipice of merging with Time Warner, the MAGA-friendly takeover of mainstream broadcast media will be even more pronounced. CNN, the most recognizable cable news outlet in the world, will soon be under Paramount head and Tr*mp ally David Ellison’s control.

Anchors at CNN fear that Ellison will install Weiss at the network, and are unhappy about the prospect of working for the Free Press founder, reports the New York Times.

Perhaps nobody is more perturbed than Cooper. He’s reportedly told colleagues he doesn’t want to work for Weiss. A spokesperson for Cooper didn’t return the Times‘ request for comment.

“Chaos came from CBS News. What’s next for CNN?” asks the paper of record.

The face of CNN, losing Cooper would be a colossal blow to the network. But it’s clear he feels that working for Weiss would compromise his integrity.

“Murdering 60 Minutes”

Weiss cleaned house at 60 Minutes this spring, firing correspondents Sharyn Alfonsi and Cecilia Vega. Alfonsi found herself in Weiss’ crosshairs last year for producing a story on CECOT, the notorious El Salvador prison where the Tr*mp admin deported undocumented immigrants, violating their due process rights. Weiss initially spiked the segment before it aired weeks later.

In addition to Alfonsi and Vega, Weiss ousted executive producer Tanya Simon, despite ratings increasing by 9%. Weiss replaced Simon with Nick Bilton, a former tech reporter and documentarian. Much like Weiss, Bilton is a TV novice.

His first meeting with 60 Minutes staffers this month was an outright calamity. In it, iconic anchor Scott Pelley, accused Weiss, who wasn’t present, of “murdering 60 Minutes.”

In an interview with the Times, Pelley recounted how Weiss tried to interfere with his stories. Following the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti in Minneapolis, he says she asked if there was a way to make the demonstrators “look more violent.”

After his blowup with Bilton, Pelley was fired.

Close to the White House

When David Ellison first took over CBS, Pelley says the tech scion introduced himself to 60 Minutes vets and pledged the show would remain independent.

But Weiss’ well-publicized meddling appears to show that was a lie.

Since taking over Paramount, David Ellison has cultivated a cozy relationship with the White House. He’s hosted a dinner for the president in Washington and attended the recent UFC monstrosity on the White House lawn. To watch the garish event, viewers had to pony up $8.99 for Paramount’s streaming service, Paramount+.

The son of Larry Ellison, who’s the billionaire co-founder of the cloud computing giant Oracle and a major Tr*mp donor, it’s apparent where David’s politics lie. At this year’s State of the Union, he was Lindsey Graham’s guest.

Given Weiss’ modest audience at the Free Press and lack of TV experience, it seemed puzzling that Elision would purchase the outlet for $150 million and install Weiss as the EIC of CBS News. But this project is about more than his bottom line.

A self-described “Zionist fanatic,” Weiss has steered CBS News in a visibly more MAGA-friendly and pro-Israeli direction. One of her newest hires, Sky News presenter Trevor Phillips, has made several Islamophobic remarks in the past.

Weiss’ handpicked evening news anchor, Tony Dokoupil, signed off a broadcast early this year by “saluting” Marco Rubio.

Reportedly, Weiss wanted Cooper to anchor CBS Evening News, but he wasn’t interested.

An “F-you” to Weiss

Cooper didn’t hold back in his final sign-off from 60 Minutes. “I hope 60 Minutes remains 60 Minutes,” he said. “I think the independence of 60 Minutes has been critical. And I think the trust it has with viewers is critical to the success of 60 Minutes.”

A network insider later said that Cooper’s message was an “F-you” to Weiss. But that’s nothing compared to the statement Cooper would make if he quits CNN.

Kara Swisher, the renowned tech journo and podcasting maven, told the Times she would stop appearing on the network if Ellison removed its current leader.

While Cooper hasn’t gone that far–at least publicly–his disregard for Weiss is clear. David Ellison may soon have a big decision on his hands.

Alex Consani is one of the most in-demand models in the fashion industry. And while it’s nothing new for models to show personality and let us into their lives, Consani has done so by making us laugh first.

The California native is so funny, in fact, it feels as though she could’ve just as easily pursued a career in comedy, and been just as successful as she is now as a model.

While Consani had already made waves in 2015 by becoming the world’s youngest transgender model at the age of 12, she really catapulted into the spotlight after amassing hundreds of thousands of followers on TikTok during the early 2020s, where she won people over with her unfiltered videos.

In the years since, Consani has become the first transgender person to win Model of the Year at the Fashion Awards in 2024, was one of the first transgender models to walk in the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show alongside Valentina Sampaio in 2024, and earlier this year, she once again made history by becoming the first transgender person to serve on the Met Gala’s host committee alongside the likes of Sabrina Carpenter, Sam Smith and Angela Bassett.

Oh, and did we mention that she got the Charli XCX cool girl approval when she was included in the “360” music video? As if you could’ve forgotten…

When it comes to advocating for the community as it faces a barrage of bigotry and discrimination, Consani—whose parents supported her when she came out as a preteen—has expressed a desire to stand up for those who weren’t as fortunate to have the platform or the support that she does.

“It sucks now because the political situation in this country is going against everything that I’ve had,” she told Harper’s Bazaar earlier this year. “I had the ability to get medical and gender-affirming care that allowed me to transition, and that, in turn, validates my transness. I’m considered more acceptably trans than someone who just transitioned, even though we’re the same type of trans, just because I visibly appear more understandable to people.”

Though Consani says that her trans identity doesn’t define her, she feels a beautiful bond to her trans brothers and sisters as they navigate a world that doesn’t make them feel safe and supported.

“What I will say about the trans community as a whole and what I think is so special is that no matter what privilege you have within it, whether you’re Black and trans, white and trans, rich or poor, you’re still trans,” she said.

Consani is proud to be herself: a trans model and influencer who we can’t get enough of.
