Because God sent his only son Jesus Christ as a sacrifice to atone for our sins, through his death on the cross. Whereas in the old testament the only way to atone for sins was by sacrificing animals to the Lord. There was some obvious sin debts to be paid for and God was more angry with the world.

so heres the deal theres this girl that think is really good looking at a grocery near me.
i have been going to for a while for like atleast 3 months I would say i go there like every 3 weeks. each time i usally get her as a cashier. we dont know each other in the slightest bit other then the times we’ve seen each other at the store. now the last time i went up to her she ran my check. i payed the bill and she said thanks and looked directly into my eyses. i know thats corny and not really a big deal. but she has never really did that before in that way. usually she just rings me up and i pay the bill. theres some silence while shes getting the change and then i leave.
what i was planning to do next time was either
1) asking her if she wants to hang out and talk a bit after her shift out side her store
and then if we like each other ask out after the small talk
2) slip her a note as i give her the cash saying its a “coupon” and asking her if its still valid. but
with the note simply leaving my number and asking here to hangout at a movie with out the small talk. and then saying so i guess ill see you around
i would use the note in both the situation as to not draw any attention to us from coworkers or customers a like
what i want to know is which of these would you be more comfortable in doing assuming that you dont think the guy is a creep

Ugh. Don’t do either of those things. Start by simply flirting: compliment her appearance; say her name when you talk to her (I assume she’s got a name tag on; if not, ask her what her name is); smile at her; ask her some random question about some product you’re buying. If you simply ask her out, out of the blue, and she says no, think about how uncomfortable that will be (for both of you) next time you see her. You need to lay some groundwork, and get a feel for whether she might be interested, before you just jump right in and ask her out.

CIA, Navy Seals and Military Intelligence Personnel Implicated

NEW YORK – The American Civil Liberties Union today made public an analysis of new and previously released autopsy and death reports of detainees held in U.S. facilities in Iraq and Afghanistan, many of whom died while being interrogated. The documents show that detainees were hooded, gagged, strangled, beaten with blunt objects, subjected to sleep deprivation and to hot and cold environmental conditions.

“”There is no question that U.S. interrogations have resulted in deaths,”" said Anthony D. Romero, Executive Director of the ACLU. “”High-ranking officials who knew about the torture and sat on their hands and those who created and endorsed these policies must be held accountable. America must stop putting its head in the sand and deal with the torture scandal that has rocked our military.”"

The documents released today include 44 autopsies and death reports as well as a summary of autopsy reports of individuals apprehended in Iraq and Afghanistan. The documents show that detainees died during or after interrogations by Navy Seals, Military Intelligence and “”OGA”" (Other Governmental Agency) — a term, according to the ACLU, that is commonly used to refer to the CIA.

According to the documents, 21 of the 44 deaths were homicides. Eight of the homicides appear to have resulted from abusive techniques used on detainees, in some instances, by the CIA, Navy Seals and Military Intelligence personnel. The autopsy reports list deaths by “”strangulation,”" “”asphyxiation”" and “”blunt force injuries.”" An overwhelming majority of the so-called “”natural deaths”" were attributed to “”Arteriosclerotic Cardiovascular Disease.”"

I think they have to have a vague rule. The crew chiefs cook something new up all the time. There is no way they could cover (or even think) of all the different possibilities.
However, I think they should stop calling driver altercations as “detrimental to racing”. Make it its own rule- it happens often enough. There are a few other situations where the abuse the term as well.

In 2007. I purchased a brand new, 80GB (Gigabyte) Sony Playstation 3. For the first year, and a half, it worked fine, but after that, it had a serious problem. It would not play playstation 3 games, DVDS’, Blu-ray Disks, Ps2 Games, and other things. So we sent it in, and when we got it back (about three weeks later as always) it worked for about a month or two, but then broke again! I can recall more than seven times since the first time, that I have sent it in to a different company which says that they “Fixed” it. But of course, its not “fixed”, if it keeps having the same problems all of the time. This different company fixes products as a part of warranties (which my father paid extra for). I HATE how they say the fixed anything, clearly, they have a different definition than most people do for the word. I have paid 0.00 for this piece of junk that doesnt work! If I spend 0.00 on something (especially on something recreational like games), I usually expect it to work for a long time. I am angry, and feel cheated, and feel that as a customer, they have some sort of obligation to me for my troubles. I have called Sony many times, and they tell us a bunch of BS! I have heard that I can pay 0.00 to get it repaired by “Sony”, but I’m afraid that by paying, it may still have the same problems. And I dont want them to make any more money off of me. I have lost alot of money, and plan to take some sort of action. I understand that its more than likely I will not be eligible for a refund, but I would like to try anyway. What do you reccomend I do? How would you handle it? Please help, I need some ideas!

Also: Sometimes, My Ps3 sometimes breaks the day I get it!

Ok, I’ve been w/ my boyfriend 4 about a year and 9 months, around there any ways. But a little before even talking 2 him I was interested in my neighbor(Ill call him TK). I didn’t know him at the time, but he still caught my eye.Then came my BF( Ill call him SB).
He’s nice, laid back, somewhat easy 2 talk 2, but most of the time I do the talking & he has a completely different background than me. Not to get into details about his life or mine,but he doesn’t have the things I do. He also has ties w/ people who do drugs(he doesn’t do these) & has a Best Friend who wants 2 drop out. Besides all this we both get along pretty well.
Now up until two days ago, I began talking 2 TK. 2day I found out that TK has a little crush on me 2. He’s a good guy 2. But I also learned that when he’s mad…he can go on 4 days w/o talking(a “bird” told me this) Anyway what I want 2 know is what do I do?

j’ai une carte mère Abit AN-M2 avec une carte intégrée GeForce 7025.

J’ai installé les pilotes Nvidia binaires, mais je n’arrive pas à les utiliser, car j’ai toujours un écran noir.

Mon écran plat est connectée avec un cable DVI.

Avez vous-une idée de ce qui peut empecher l’image de s’afficher ?

(Je n’ai rien pour tester si la sortie VGA est fonctionnelle malheureusement)
well, actually, the blackscreen trouble was due to my stupidity: I had installed a deprecated version of the NVIDIA binairy driver.

With the good one installed, it’s working correctly.

BUT, I often have thoses kind of screen/video signal freeze when I activate COMPIZ:

Anyone know what could be the source of the problem ?

Ps.: I have been able to make an NVIDIA BUG REPORT even if I couldn’t see anything… So I have the Nvidia bug report WHEN my screen was frozen, but I really don’t know what could of could not be important in it.

I had the same problem with a new magnavox wide screen flat panel untill I set the resolution correctly AND the vertical to 60Hz.
