As I’ve already discussed, you can easily take advantage of the increased buyers on the net during this time with shopping sites such as Amazon Affiliate, ShareASale, Shopping.com. I have seen an increase in all of my sites which are selling physical products via affiliate links.

But, as we all know, the promotion of these sites is one of the most difficult methods to accomplish. We want traffic to our sites because we know, without traffic, there is no money!

There are various methods which I’ve gone over in the past to help you bring in traffic to your site but I want to talk about a particular technique you can use during the holidays.

In the last few weeks, I’ve been posting like crazy to HubPages “Holidays & Celebrations” topic. Why? Well so many people are searching around there looking for gift ideas and reviews.

I take advantage of this by doing two things:

1. I utilize HubPages ability to insert Amazon products into a Hub and display the product.
2. I link back to the particular page I have on the product to help enhance Search engine rankings and get some valuable direct traffic from the Hub

Well, that is easy…

I simply explain why the product is a great Christmas/Holiday gift. I list features, how kids would like it, how adults would find it useful, and its costs in comparison to other gifts.

The old layout I never really was 100% into from the beginning but I was so eager to get things up and rolling that I chose it. This once is a lot cleaner and pleasing to the eye.

I’ll be updating some of the functions and customizing it more in the next couple days but I just wanted to get opinions now.

What is available for use?

You can choose to use 2 things when trying to find the right keyword, Google Wonder Wheel and the Keyword research tool. Both of which can easily help you uncover that deeply hidden niche that has yet to be exposed.

If you’re unfamiliar with the Wonder Wheel, just do a simple search and click ’show options’. You will then see a side bar on the left that will have the wonder wheel link, this will break down your search into other, more “micro” searches that were done by other Google Users.

It’s a good tool to use if you are having trouble figuring out what niche to focus on. But if you’re looking for a specific keyword, you’ll want to first use the free keyword research tool that Google provides.

As far as I’m concerned, this is the best keyword research tool. I even think this is better then Micro Niche Finder now as I’ve noticed Micro Niche Finder to not work as effectively recently.

Sorry for not updating for a few days, it’s getting closer to Christmas so any of you guys who have affiliate sites know that this is one of the most profitable times of the year for eBay and Amazon affiliate sites. I’ve been spending the last few days tweaking some of my already established affiliate sites for that Holiday push!

I decided to run a test with one of my site and made it exclusively Amazon products. Over the last few weeks I’ve been extremely disappointed with the amount eBay has been paying me per click after it implemented this new program.

At least Amazon still pays a commission on the products bought from your pages, enables me to make a lot more money. Especially since the site I’m testing gets near 2,000 people a month to it and through eBay Partner network, I get over 700 clicks a month. So I figure if I can get that many clicks per month with Amazon and only half of the people that click buy something within 30 days (because of cookies), I’m bound to have a $1,000 month with just one site!

As for this site, I’m seeing an increase in traffic every day. Being able to make money blogging is starting to become a reality with this site. My AdSense revenue has increased to $1.79 today from this site alone (my other more established sites have of course done much better). With the addition of my new promotion where I will send every person who buys Google Sniper from my site, a complete blueprint that I use for each site, I feel my clickbank profits will only increase in the coming weeks.

Today I commented on a few dofollow pages using the DoFollow Diver site that I mentioned in the previous post. Along with a few articles to GoArticles.com and research on some LSI keywords to my older posts. All in the attempts of boosting my SEO tactics.

You then comment on the page with back links to your page and once the comment is approved by the moderator, the next time that page is crawled by a search engine, it will see your link and that gives you my infamous “link roids.”

Implement this into your money making program and you’ll soon see increases in search engine rankings.  It is what I have been doing with my Google Sniper sites of late and have seen great leaps in my rankings which will soon lead to more traffic and more money!

Back to my problem with being deindexed the other day… I believe it was because I had cloaked links on a brand new site.  I think Google gives you a sort of probationary period which they index your site and then say “alright you have X amount of time to prove your worth to us.”  If you are showing to be someone who is only interested in being able to make money blogging, then your site will be hurt.

As far as today went, I submitted a few articles to eZine Articles to get some strong back links.  I’ve developed a great style of writing that entices those who read my articles to click my links.  I have some articles that have a 33% click through rating!  The average is 10-15%.  This allows more people to visit the site and as has been mentioned lately, it seems that Google may start taking traffic into account when ranking sites.  The more people I can get from article marketing, the higher my site will be in the search engines, allowing me to really turn this into a make money blog.

What I am going to do is document on a day to day basis everything I do to create money making blogs. From on site SEO to off site SEO (Yes, I will be implementing George Brown’s Google Sniper¹ techniques because I really find use in what he says and Mike has credited his success to it as well!).That way, we all can get a first hand look into what is helpful and what we are missing when we conduct our search engine optimization processes.

Now we all know it’s not easy making money with blogs, so of course I will also post my ClickBank and earnings I receive from AdSense and Chitika on a daily basis so that you can correlate what works traffic wise with what causes conversions in sales and clicks. The key here is to help everyone learn and get an idea of how to do this, whether you are a newbie or a skilled SEO expert, there will be something for all of us to learn from this.

While there are many make money blogs out there, so far I’ve only seen a handful of sites willing to do what Mike and I are doing. That is, divulge everything it takes to get a blog up and going and getting a profit from blogging.

According to the act, if there is an exchange of any type of currency or commodity for an endorsement, that exchange has to be disclosed. Perfect example would be when I talk about products on my site, starting December 1st, I will have to disclose the fact that I get paid a commission for any sale that is generated through my affiliate link.

Why does this have to be disclosed?

Well it should be pretty obvious. If you are giving a review on a product, the fact that you are paid a commission from your affiliate link can hinder you from actually putting an honest review. You’ll be more inclined to put a favorable review because you’ll want your viewers to purchase the product so you can make money from it.

You’ll also be responsible for any testimony you make, so you won’t be able to make these outrageous “I make $1,000,000 a day sitting from home” claims if you can’t provide proof of it. So if you need to go back and revise whatever medium you use to convey your affiliate products or endorsements, you probably should before the act takes effect.

Why will it help?

I know many people are completely against this act by the FTC but I feel this will greatly help the economy. If you had previously purchased a product because your favorite celebrity said it was a great product and never knew he/she made money from every sale, would you change your purchase decision if you knew that celebrity was being paid for their endorsement?

Or how about if you knew that a company could no longer make exaggerated claims about the results of usage of the product? Would your purchase decision be effected if the company was only allowed to put the expected results of usage?

How much money will the average American save now that they are blessed with one of the most powerful things in the world, information. It is this information that allows them to make proper and informed buying decisions instead of acting on impulse or because a celebrity is associated with the product. I remember reading in one of my marketing textbooks that around 90% of NASCAR fans purchase products because their favorite driver is sponsored by them.

We will now have more money saved, which will allow us to pay bills, invest, and/or make purchases of more useful or needed things. All strengthening our economy!

Some say this FTC act will kill business, I think it will force advertisers to be more honest and create a greater bond of trust with its audience.

Of course you do, who doesn’t?

You hear all these success stories of people who make $500 a day selling their remarkable eBook online. You decide, if they can do it, you can, and set out to write your very own eBook.

Don’t do it – you won’t make any where near the money they do!

Why won’t you make that much? It’s a simple reason…

No one knows who you are!

More and more people are doing their research on the author’s of eBook before the shell over their money. They want to know who you are and what you’ve done.

Make no mistake – I think creating an eBook is a great way to make money online, but it’s something you have to do after you’ve established yourself.

How to establish yourself to make money online

Establishing yourself as an authority involves doing things that resemble SEO practices with a few additional factors. I created a check list for you to check over to make sure you have before you decide to make an eBook.

1. Have AT LEAST 300 posts on your blog – having 300 posts will allow people to know you know what you’re talking about and build up a RSS reader base
2. Your site should have more than 100 personal comments on it – by personal comments, I mean comments registered by actual viewers, not track backs, pings, but by actual human beings.
3. You should be able to include a lot more (and useful) information in your eBook then you supply on your site. If you talk about the same stuff and provide the same tips in your eBook as you have on your site, your customer will see absolutely NO value in their purchase and will be reluctant to ever purchase something from you again!

   I remember the time I bought an eBook for $37 and it provided exactly the same information that was on the page and that I ALREADY knew! I fought tooth and nail to get my money back, that’s how upset I was at that rip off. You want your customers to associate your name with value.

Am I ready to make money online with an eBook?

If you’ve done everything on the checklist then it all comes down to your gut feeling. If you can safely and comfortably tell yourself that your eBook is going to be useful and important to all of its readers, then go for it! If not, you need some work…

Search Engine Optimization Tips – What are anchor links?

When there is a link on your page or another page, how does a search engine correlate that link to a specific keyword?

Anchor links are search engines most important tool for determining what keyword that link relates to.

When you type up a post and say the post about cheap search engine optimization, you’ll want to link to that specific word. Notice I just did it there? Now whenever a spider crawls my page, they’ll see that link right there and see the links anchor text is “cheap search engine optimization.”

If you’re lucky enough to have someone with a high PR site linking a highly sought after keyword to your page, that will add tons of what I like to call “link roids” to your page. Link roids strengthen your sites presence among search engines to the links you’d never believe.

1. Do a search for the keyword you’re after.

Record everything you do!

This is by far, one of the most overlooked search engine optimization tips you’ll find but for me, it is the most important component. Without it you’ll have no real direction as to what to do in the future.

Think about, if you weren’t allowed to proof read anything you’ve ever written, what kind of grades would you get in school?

You would probably get horrible grades since you couldn’t go back and review your strengths, weaknesses and mistakes. Well when it comes to SEO, you won’t make any money if you don’t record what you do!

If it pertains to search engine optimizing your site, write it down. For every website I have, I keep a log of every method I used to promote the article/post/page I have. If I submitted a certain article to a particular social network, I write it down. If I used a certain format or style, it’s there in my log. When I first start these logs, each page I’ll do something different.

My SEO Log usually looks something like this:

Google AdWords

1. 100 posts/articles is the magic number:  Many eBooks and people will tell you that after you reach 30 posts/articles, you will then see a jump in traffic from search engines and greater ad revenue.  My personal experience has been that the number is more like 100 posts.  In all of my sites, I’ve received far greater and more livable money once I’ve reached 100 posts on the site.  So remember, until you’ve reached 100 posts on your site you probably won’t make much money online.
2. Join Chikita:  While AdSense will probably generate you more money once your site reaches the 100 unique hits a day mark, until then you won’t see much of a profit.  Discussions I’ve had with other site owners has led to me to suppose that you need around 1,000 impressions a day to make a decent amount (your earnings will vary depending on the keyword the Ad is focused on).  Until then, use Chikita along with Google Ad Sense.  Chikita targets ads based on the exact search phrase a visitor typed into a search engine.  Thus, you get more clicks on the ads, which makes you more money.  When it comes to making money online, incremental gains in money can go a long way as a mental advantage.
3. Don’t be a stalker:  By that I mean, don’t check your Google Ad Sense, Chikita, eBay Partner Network, and other affiliate program earnings every day.  Wait to check it every two weeks.  If you can’t wait every two weeks, try to check it only once a week.  If you hold off on how often you check your earnings, you will be more surprised by the amount you’ve made when you do check.  That surprise can provide a mental boosting encouraging you to further add content and promote your site in hopes of beating that money made on your next cycle.

As I said, starting a website is a test of your mental toughness.  The hill you have to climb in order to make money online is a steep one full of rough terrain.  But trust me, once you get over that peak, you’ve never seen a more beautiful terrain.

When it comes to blogging, a lot of thought goes into what I plan to write about.  I don’t just think of a topic out of mid air and then write about it.  Instead, I think about how helpful the topic will be for the reader and also how much traffic can this topic drive to my site.  If a topic comes to mind that I feel will be helpful to readers and beneficial to my traffic,regardless of whether it fits in my niche or not.  But in the case of my previous article, it does fit in my niche, regardless of how much it seems to counter act how to make money online.

I thought your niche was make money online?

Make money online is my niche but if you think about it, learning how to stand out in this economy can directly tie into my niche and help me gain traffic after I’ve helped my readers.  If you think about it, who will be the people most looking to stand out in this economy?  My guess and I hope your guess is those looking for a job.  The reason someone is searching for a job is because they need money.  So what do I do?  I provide them with the information they are looking for in terms of finding a job and what not but I also plug the fact that I can help them make money online as well.  The fact that I can show them how to make money online peaks their interest and hopefully I provide enough valuable information to them that I not only gain a loyal reader to my blog, but they refer their friends.

So, when deciding on a topic to write about in your blog, don’t be afraid to venture outside your niche to a topic that can tie into your niche all the while driving in new and fresh traffic that may have never been exposed to your niche!  Get creative!  You never know what topic will drive hundreds of visitors to your blog which in turn makes you money!

The first aspect of my realizations prompted me to dabble into the make money online world.  Without a job, I needed to have some sort of supplemental income so that I didn’t sound desperate to make money at my job interview.  Throughout my experiences in life, I’ve realized that one of the most important things in anything you approach in life is that you stay relaxed.  Anxiety can destroy you if you let it take over.  It can cause you to sweat in your interview, blank out during questions, stutter, and a host of other negatives.  If you’re low on money or even desperate for it, you’ll go into the job interview thinking that you have to get the job and this can very easily lead to anxiety.  When you did like I did, which was I learned how to make money online so that I had money to hold me over, you’re able to go into the job interview as your NORMAL self and present your NORMAL self.  Not this wound up, nervous, sweating in December person that in no way, shape, or form reflects the true you.

When I got into the interview, I knew that my resume stood out and contained aspects that impressed any future employers.  Realizing I didn’t have many outstanding credentials or experience, I knew I had to spice up my resume.  What I did was gathered a list of all the software, systems, and equipment I used from previous jobs and put on my resume that I was familiar with it.  So if you used to use a “Acme Model x03523″ transaction recording device at your previous job, on your resume it would say “Proficient in using Acme Model x03523 equipment.”  Sounds important doesn’t it?

Besides that, I also included samples of my work in every resume I sent out.  I was frequently asked during internships and previous employment to create presentations or press releases to be presented in million dollar deals.  So, I’d include parts of these presentations/press releases and put in my resume “frequently involved in aspects of multi-million dollar deals (see attachments).”  It may cost a little extra to have numerous presentations printed out, but I feel it is vital in your job hunt.

Finally, in order to increase my presence and really stand out I did some out tried and true methods along with some out of the ordinary methods.  I did tried and true methods like networking with those in the industry I wished to get a career in.  Whether it be talking to people at the gym or frequenting deli’s and restaurants that employees of the marketing agency I was after went to on their lunch break.

My out of the ordinary methods included posting my job credentials online (today you would use Craigslist and Linked-In) along with my most effective method.  While I have to give the credit for this idea to Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich”, it was most effective.  I sent a first class, next day delivery envelope containing my resume and attachments to the companies I most wanted to work for.  I would call the next day to make sure they received the package and then call a week later if I didn’t hear from them.  After two weeks of no response, I’d send another next day delivery with a friendly note explaining my desire to work there and just making sure my initial package wasn’t lost.  Now you could send a regular envelope but we all know, no matter how many times you see it, a first-class next day envelope looks important and really stands out.

I used these methods to help me effectively stand out in this economy and I hope it helps you.  If all else fails, we can still continue to make money online and not feel so burdened by bills!

While Google has removed the PageRank feature from Webmasters Tools citing it’s insignificance in SEO performance, I can’t understand why they’ve kept it on their Toolbar.  Now I can relate with the fact that the PageRank is what makes the Google Toolbar stand out from its competition but I have to think that PageRank still serves in some capacity how well your site is performing.   Who knows though, you never know when it comes to search engine algorithms.

What is the lesson here?  It’s simple and I’ve said it millions of times before, blog because you have a passion about something and enjoy writing about it.  Do not blog in hopes of being ranked number one on a search engine and making money, as you see here the search engines algorithms are constantly changing.  Trying to keep up with these changes is like kicking water up hill, so please for your own mental sanity, just blog because you like to.

My most important reason is probably most important for you too.  A good majority of your readers are there for one reason only, to see what you’re writing about and copy it and use it on their website as content.  Now, most of these copiers are lazy bastards who wind up linking to your page accidentally which may seem good.  However, these sites are rarely even indexed by Google and if they haven’t already been, will soon be flagged as a spam/duplicate content site.  What do I do with these people?  I report them to Google Spam.  It is an annoying and constant process but I have to do it to preserve the integrity of Quick Cash School.

The second reason is that I don’t post to this blog with the sole effort to gain traffic and readers and you shouldn’t either.  If you’re posting just in hopes of encouraging hoards of traffic to come to your page and subscribe to your RSS feeds, keep dreaming.  You need to have passion and enthusiasm when you post, not only in the article you’re writing about, but the subject of the article as well.  Viewers can easily tell when a post is lacking any passion and seems to just be slapped up onto the page with no thought behind it.  If you do that, guess what?  No one will want to subscribe to your RSS feed because they don’t want to read your helpless articles.

I post because I enjoy writing about the subject of money and helping others get to where I’ve gotten.  I don’t write with hopes of making millions off this page.  All of my most successful sites have been profitable when they were about subjects I was passionate about.  My failures came when I just made sites on a subject I had no idea about or wasn’t passionate about.  So, write for your own aesthetic pleasure, not because you want money, traffic, or RSS readers.  Do that and the money will follow!

What to worry about in 2010 to make money online

1. What will happen with BANS?  The guys who created the number one way to make money online, BANS, recently sent out an email to all of its forum members saying that their domain BuildANicheStore.com was up for sale.  About a week or two later, they sent out another email in which they decided to reevaluate their stance and took the domain off the market.  They then went on to say that the BANS program needs to be updated and that they will be most likely moving the domain to another domain and starting all over to keep up with the times and gather thoughts and opinions of other BANS users to provide the best possible service.Now, as I’ve mentioned plenty of times before, BANS is the first program I’ve ever successfully used to make money online so when I heard that it was being sold I was disappointed. When I got the second email, I was happy to hear that they were going to revamp the program. With eBay’s new Quality Click Program and so many Search Engines falling in love with blogs via WordPress sites, phpBay had become the more suitable program over BANS. I’m confident in the fact that the guys at BANS will work hard to really improve the program and I expect them to release an amazing product in 2010.
2. Will the Acme People Search Engine continue to make its affiliates money?  The Acme People Search program was introduced in early 2009 and was claimed to be the most profitable way to make money online.As it goes, 30% of all searches on Google, Yahoo and MSN are for people searches.  Tissa Godavitarne decided to take advantage of this information by creating an affiliate program in which you create your own people search that is advertised for FREE through Google, MSN and Yahoo ads for the first 30 days.  All of those advertising expenses are paid by Tissa.The program is free to sign up to and it is recommended that you get your own Global Domains International domain name, although not necessary. The great thing about this program is it becomes linked to your ClickBank, HDPublishing, and MyLife accounts. If you decide to purchase your own domain, you can also post your own AdSense ads on it.I decided not to get a Global Domains domain because I received mixed reviews on it so I wasn’t able to maximize my profits through AdSense, but I have made some very good money as the website is on auto pilot. I just set up my Acme People Search Engine and left it alone after doing some of my SEO methods.  I then linked it on one of my highest PR sites and from there I let it all take care of itself.

   On top of this, the referral program is one of the best around, with the possibility of being paid up to $30 per referral. So, lets see how this all works out. A lot of times people don’t want to put in the work necessary to make the page popular and get the word out about it. If they don’t do that, they don’t make money and then cry out scam. If a majority of the people are unwilling to put the work into Acme People Search engine they will say it is a scam and ruin the programs reputation, killing any chances of it being a great way to make money online in 2010.

3. The fads need to either prove effective or cease to exist all together.  Every year you hear of a new and innovative way to make money; free royalty rights, FOREX, etc.  Some work, most don’t.  The problem with these though is that they stick around for a year or two and convince millions of people they work because they persist for a length of time and then disappear completely from the face of the make money online world.  So those millions of people who failed to make money online completely give up and reject any other methods.  Why does this happen? Because inconsiderate people just create a program that sounds enticing for other people and sell it with little to any experimentation with the method.  No money is made by the customer, but the producer collects.So, we need to weed out what is useless in our quest to make money online in order to maximize our profits. I ask that you do this by posting a comment on this post about what you’ve experienced as ineffective and what has worked for you.
4. How will the algorithms of top search engines change and how will it effect us?  We’ve seen it before.  10 years ago, your title, meta description and meta keywords determined  your search engine results ranking.  As years pass, search engines get more and more particular as to what they deem worthy of being in the top ranks.  Link exchanges were once effective in building back links.  Today, one way links are highly effective and link exchanges are obsolete.  With the search engines fascination with blogs, I can only suggest that guest authoring on blogs and blog comments will show presence in the community and help your search engine rankings.  As more information is published, I will keep everyone updated.
5. Digital media needs to be incorporated into sites to make money online.  How many times a day do you send someone or does someone send you a video on YouTube?  Using video clips on your site will not only enhance the interactivity of your site and the viewer, it will soon be recognized by search engines and boost your rankings.

The times are changing and in order to make money online, we have to keep up with or stay out in front of the requirements to be profitable.  Don’t be afraid to be bold and try new and unusual methods of making money, you never know, you may discover the next BANS program.

Top Ranking Site Secrets

1. They can be taken over: Most sites that are ranking high on SERP’s are only there because of their age.  Have you ever done a search and the first result is one of the most hideous pages you ever been to?  Stupid and pointless glittery graphics all over the place, multi-colored and overly enlarged Comic Sans font, not to mention, elementary information.   Those sites are only there because of their age, nothing else.  Even a bottle of rotten grapes will catch eyes if its been aged for 20 years, doesn’t mean its good.  So remember, with hard and persistent work, the top ranked pages can be overcome.
2. Their site isn’t even 100% SEO optimized for that keyword: Most of your niches, the top ranking sites don’t have their site optimized for that keyword.  If you’re going after a particular niche, your URL will contain that keyword in it, an aspect that the top sites rarely have.  Remember, you’re looking to go after a micro niche, so you’ll have an immediate advantage.  Go ahead and look at any site relating to the keyword you’re after, there aren’t any articles submitted to article marketing sites on it, keywords aren’t stylized as much, and the keyword usage rate isn’t as optimized as it could be.
3. They more than likely weren’t planning to rank for the keyword: Type in a long tail keyword into a search engine.  Most of the top ranking sites have no idea they are even on the first page for that particular keyword.  That allows you to take advantage of that by making that your target keyword if the circumstances are beneficial.  By that I mean, if the long tail keyword is only searched for once a month, move on.  If the keyword returns 1,000 plus hits a month according to Google and/or Micro Niche Finder, you can make that keyword your URL and one up a site.
4. Page Rank fluctuates and top sites are too lazy to maintain it: Nothing in life is forever.  That especially applies to Page Rank (PR).  Google is constantly updating it’s PR formulas, lowering and raising pages PR statuses.  In order to maintain that high PR, websites have to have a constant presence in the niche community of that keyword.  They have to maintain one way links from other high ranking sites.  Now, most of these top rank sites have hundreds, maybe even thousands of individual pages, posts, blogs, etc.  Do you think they can truly devote enough time or money to each page to maintain its SERP’s?
5. They don’t implement a link building program: Following up on the previous element, these sites can’t implement a link building program for every page they’ve got.  In my previous post on Cheap Search Engine Optimization, I talked about the need to become a pronounced figure in your niche community.  Comment on blogs, post articles to article submission sites, volunteer to post for another website in exchange for a back link.  All of these things give you one way back links that enhance your Page Rank and make your site more popular.  Most of these sites don’t do that because they base all of their Search Engine Rankings on the age of their site and don’t have the time or resources to link every page.
6. Comments are their greatest method of updating content: While people like you and I whose sites are relatively new have to constantly update our page with long, educating, and engaging articles, these top ranked sites only have to put a few paragraphs on the keyword their targeting and sit back and allow the 1,000’s of followers they have flood their pages with content in the form of comments on the post.  So, to counter that, either come up with more engaging and/or controversial articles or write an article where as you say that the webmaster of that page is wrong.  Then go to their page and write a comment saying that you disagree with what was said and link to your article there.  Promise you many of the sites hardcore followers will flood to your page to find out what the hell you’re talking about and voice their opinions.  If they bash you, don’t delete the comment, you’ll soon have followers who will believe you and a debate will develop right on your article.
7. There is no magical formula: I know some of you think that these top sites have done something unknown to anyone else or they’ve perfected every single factor that pertains to SEO.  This is not the case, you can easily take over these sites and become the dominant figure in your niche, I have faith in you.  I’ve done it, and so can you.  It’s very easy to accomplish, just takes some work, but it’s worth it in the end!

Check to make sure it’s search engine rankings haven’t been compromised already by others who have written on the subject and get to writing.

If you were to write about, say “2009 Suzuki Hayabusa”, you’ll more then likely be facing a lot of competition because this bike has been out for a while. However, if you’re able to get information about the 2010 Suzuki Hayabusa and write a review about it, anyone searching for the 2010 Suzuki Hayabusa will get your post since so few of people have written about it, seeking further information, they’ll click an AdSense ad, enabling you to make money online today. Once the 2010 Hayabusa comes out, you’ll have a year older post then anyone else, cha-ching, you’ve just made money as an authoritative figure on that keyword.

Another way would be to write about anything you see or read about that is new news. Got a website about your local town? Did you just hear that a large fair is planning to come to your town? Write about it, word about the fair will spread and people will search for it, and guess who will be on the first page of the search results? YOU!

Questions are in order of importance

Have you added engaging, original, and abundant content?

This is key, a lot of the sites I review lacks one or all of these elements. In order to be successful, your site has to dominate these elements. When I say dominate, I mean 100% effort, not just getting by. Make your articles controversial, interesting, or whatever the hell it takes to get people to either comment on your blog or link your article elsewhere. As I tell all marketers, one of my favorite pieces of advise is, any publicity is good publicity. Look what happened with Kayne West a few weeks ago, his controversial actions at the VMA’s have put his face all over the papers and television. For the immediate future, anytime someone interrupts an important speech or event, they’ll be known as pulling a Kayne. While it may seem bad, since Kayne didn’t do any bodily harm or did a utterly horrible action, he can expect to get a lot more dollars due to his increased exposure.

The content has to be 100% original. Plain and simple, if you’ve copied and pasted anything into your article, re-do it. Even if you’ve altered each sentence of a previously copied article, get rid of it. You’ll probably get away with this but what usually happens is a article publisher will first change a few words in every sentence of the article. After a few articles, the publisher feels he/she can get away with only changing words in ever other sentence in the efforts to save time and increase his/her laziness. Eventually, they are changing the article so little that search engines easily recognize the unoriginality of the article and flag their site, killing their traffic.

While not only being engaging and original, the content also has to be abundant. What would happen if I only wrote one article on this site and left it alone? You’d read the one article and never come back. Now, by the same token, what if I had posted 20 articles on this site from 3 months ago til today, and for the next 6 months, no articles will be posted. You’d read the 20 articles and then once you realize I don’t update often, you won’t come back. Like they say, it’s easier to retain a customer than it is to gain a new one. So satisfy your loyal visitors, they will reward you, I promise.

Is your site and content keyword optimized?

A lot of site publishers don’t optimize their site for particular keywords. By that, I mean they don’t use long tail keywords, they don’t stylize their keywords, and they don’t use them enough in their articles. Because most of the established sites have more then likely dominated the short keywords, you need to have your site optimized with long, highly sought after keywords. While I will probably not rank high in the near future for the keyword “money”, I have a much better chance if I included the phrase “make money easily using your computer” numerous times in an article. To further enhance that, I’d stylize that keyword a few times. I’ve heard from some people that you don’t necessarily need to have the exact phrase in your article in order to rank on search engines, but I don’t believe that. While a search engine can tell what your article is about, you’re trying to rank for the specific keyword, so include it word for word in the article.

Another problem I notice when it comes to keyword optimizing is the tendency to focus on too many keywords, essentially jumping all over the place. You should determine your main keyword you want to target as the trunk of your apple tree and find other keywords as the branches of your apple tree. If the other keyword is an orange tree branch, it doesn’t belong there. Sorry for the elementary analogies but I had to simplify it.

So, if my main keyword is “affordable and quality flat screen tv’s” and a branch keyword was “Acme TV’s”, I’d include my main keyword in my Acme TV article. I’d do this by doing something like, Acme TV’s are some of the most affordable and quality flat screen tv’s you can find. Notice how I incorporate my main keyword and branch keyword in the sentence.

Have you been patient?

Patience is the key to gaining traffic and making money on the net. Search engines incorporate the age of your site into it’s formula for ranking your site. Have you ever searched for something using a search engine and the more informative sites are in a lower ranking position? It’s probably because those sites that are ranked at the top have seniority over the other, more informative sites.

As long as you keep updating and marketing your site, when your site ripens, you will be rewarded. If you’ve done this so far, you just have to remain patient and keep doing your due diligence, it’ll pay off.

Have you submitted your articles to various articles submission sites?

In my post on Internet Marketing Articles, I explained about the importance of submitting your articles to various sites in order to gain a highly ranked back link to your site. While the process of submitting original articles is annoying, it does work in the long run.

Have you been socializing?

You have to be constantly reminding people about your site. One of the best ways to accomplish this is by socializing. Whether it be Facebook, Twitter, or other social networks, you can easily and quickly get traffic to your site if your link is noticed. You have to consistently do this as your link can disappear into the millions of pages common in social networks.

Do you have more then two sites yet?

Once you’ve created your first page, added abundant content to it, and done substantial marketing for it, you should work on your next site. While creating your next site, devote a few hours out of the week towards adding an article or two to your first site and marketing it. Rinse and repeat over and over. This creates a variety of revenue streams to make you money.

While some internet marketing guru’s say you should have hundreds of sites published, I don’t agree. Not only is it irrational to have hundreds of sites (how are you going to write over a hundred articles a week to update each site?), it also encourages people to recycle articles and perform Black Hat SEO methods.

If you’re site is only a few months old, don’t worry. As long as you’ve done your due diligence, you will soon see an increase in traffic to your site. However, if you’re page is a few years old and hasn’t made you the money you were expecting, it may be time to re-evaluate your methods of driving traffic to your site and making money.

Even though I thought CashCrate was going to be not only difficult to make a strong supplemental income from, but I also believed it would cause me to sign up for offers that would wind up spamming my life for the next few weeks. However, to my surprise, the complete opposite has happened.

While I will still say that you do need time to complete the offers and you probably could accomplish more, I was able to make enough money to take care of some bills. I had a few spare hours the past few weeks since my initial review to test out and review CashCrate further and get a full trial on the program. The reason I tell you to begin researching for different stocks from the one on your Wall Street Survivor account is that if you are like most beginners, you’ve either picked out stocks that have plummeted or you’ve picked out stocks that don’t reflect your age group. By age group I mean, certain stocks represent certain age groups. If you’re young and far from retirement, you can afford to take risks because you’ll still have years ahead of you of earning an additional living while letting that stock grow. Remember, as Benjamin Graham believed, the general trend of the stock market is an upward trend. This is a key thing to learn in investing for beginners. Many will not have the ability to wait out the harsh times and will lose a lot of potential earnings selling a stock way too soon. On the other hand, if you are a person close to retirement, you’ll want to purchase stocks that are an almost sure thing, Blue Chip stocks, which can earn you dividends, may go up a few points and rarely crashes.

Before you decide which stocks you are going to purchase, you should conjure up a plan that is focused on what you wish to achieve in your stock ventures. Do you want to make a quick buck? Want to achieve financial independence? Have some money for a rainy day? Or do you want to supplement your retirement funds with a stock portfolio? There are numerous reasons you could want to get involved in stock investing, just make sure your reason is truly honest with yourself or else you might find yourself disappointed later on.

Avoid the media when investing

My biggest problem when I first started investing was exactly this. I’d watch all the investing broadcasts and quickly invest in stocks based on their tips. I’d do a little research and just make the purchase. I’ve kept every one of these stocks and none have shown a profit. I keep any stock that’s price declines because it is not money that I don’t consider vital to my well being. In other words, I invested this money with the mind set that I might lose it and if I do that is fine. But I also know that the general trend of the stock market is an upward trend, so there are good chances these stocks may eventually prove profitable.

Additionally, many companies either pay analyst or have an influential effect on the analyst to recommend the stock. If the company is a major sponsor or the parent company of the station the analyst is broadcasting on, why would the analyst ever speak poorly about the company’s stock? Get what I’m saying?

What are the current trends right now? What are the industries that have proven strong through the test of time? What industries will the future hold?

These are all questions you have to ask yourself when determining your investing strategies. The industry you’re planning to invest in may make or break your stock portfolio. If you paid attention to the recent real estate and banking collapses, you can see why the industry you select can determine your successes. One of the most prevalent industries in the past 20 years has been medical and health care stocks. Medical research and health care will always be needed as long as humans exist, so its a safe bet we won’t see the medical industry collapse, but don’t quote me on that one, you can never tell with this economy.

You should also have a familiar knowledge of the industry to truly understand the ins and outs of it.

Investing for beginners: Choose stocks

When choosing which stocks to invest in, there are a variety of circumstances that surround it. The way I do it has proven beneficial to me so far. Is there another way that would prove more profitable for me? It’s possible, matter fact, it’s probable. But I’m not going to search through hundreds, or thousands, of different methods in hopes of finding that better method. I’ll stick to the one that is based on my beliefs and has a strong foundation.

Penny Stocks

Depending on the stock type, I may choose to use certain figures or tools to determine if I’m going to invest in the stock. As a young adult, I like to choose penny stocks. They offer the best chance of gaining substantial profits. Think about it, if I start out with $500 dollars and I purchase a stock that is currently selling at $50 a share, I can only purchase 10 shares of that stock. Now if that stock goes up $2.00 a share, I’ve made 20 bucks. Now if I take that same $500 and buy 500 shares of a stock at $1.00 a share and that stock only goes up by $0.25, I’ve made $125. Not bad at all. Now I know you’re going to say, “yeah right! Penny stocks are up and coming companies which usually fail, leaving stock holders empty handed.” While this can be true, many times it isn’t true. Google started as a penny stock, I even have a gold stock which I purchased at $1.07 a share about a year ago and is currently, as I write this article, hovering around $4.00 a share. I expect this stock to reach $5.00 in the future. What I’ll do when it does is I’ll sell 75% of my shares as profit and leave the remaining 25% in the market hoping the stock will continue to rise in price. That way if it plummets, at least I got out early and if it rises, well then I’m still making a profit. I search the internet for penny stocks and do as much research about the company, their management, their future plans, and their impact on the world before I make my decision to buy it. I then put it on my watch list and to get a true idea if the price is violently fluctuating (volatility). If after a week, I’m happy with my findings, I purchase the stock.

Mid range & Blue Chip stocks

When it comes to investing in a mid range to blue chip stock, I like to look at the P/E Ratio and use Zacks Premium to find the best stocks to buy in today’s few hot industries
and once again do the same research on the company as I do with penny stocks. I don’t like to indulge into all of the statistics, they only confuse me. As I said, I’m in no way, shape, or form, an expert at stock investing, its strictly a hobby of mine. So, instead, I invest in stocks I feel comfortable with and in stocks that I feel the company possesses an attribute, whether it be in management, staff, innovations, etc., that can’t be undermined by another company. This makes the company unique and I can feel comfortable in it’s potential.

You won’t become the next Warren Buffet over night, as Warren Buffet did not become the billionaire we know him today as, over night. AMEX: American Stock Exchange

Ask: The lowest price that the stock seller is willing to accept for a share of stock.

Bear Market Investor: An investor who believes the stock market is in the decline.

Bid: The highest price a stock purchaser will pay for a share of stock.

Blue Chip Stock: A stock with a long standing history of being a solid earner with increasing dividends. (Berkshire Hathaway & Coca-Cola come to mind)

Bull Market Investor: An investor who believes the stock market is rising.

Dividend: You could consider this a companies bonus to its shareholders. Certain companies give their shareholders a portion of their earnings to its stock holders. Some companies do it annually, some quarterly, and some (mostly small companies) don’t give out dividends at all.

Dow Jones Industrial Average (DIJA): Started by Wall Street Journal editor Charles Dow. It is comprised of 30 of the largest companies that reflect the American economy the most at the time. It is subject to change at any time to accurately reflect the American economy.

Market Capitalization (market cap): Multiply the outstanding shares of a stock by the price a single share. This is one of the key ways to determine the strength of a company you’re planning to invest in.

NASDAQ: National Association of Securities Dealers Automated Quotations. Approximately 3,800 companies compose this mainly technologically based stock sector.

OTC: Over the counter. Trades occur directly between two parties as opposed to exchange trading.

P/E Ratio: Price to earnings ratio. The ratio of the amount of a company’s earnings a stock earns for each share of stock. Divide the stock price by the amount of the company’s earnings per stock. For example, if the share price is $40 and the company earns $4 per share, the P/E Ratio is 10.

Penny stock: A stock that is priced under $5 per share and is traded on the OTC.

Wall Street: The birthplace and home of the American Stock Exchange. Located in Manhattan, New York and is considered the most important Stock exchange in the world.

Do I have to re-write all of my internet marketing articles?

I told you this was going to be hard work, but not that hard! If we had rewrite every article word for word, all of us internet marketers would be out of commission! I’ll teach you a little secret that we do and is very easy. I take all the internet marketing articles I’ve ever post on my sites, I paste into a Word document and in each sentence I use the thesaurus to change 1 or 2 words per sentence for the length of the article. DO NOT REPLACE YOUR KEYWORDS!!! You will now embed your link on your keyword 2-3 times per article. By doing so, when a search engine crawls the article you’ve submitted to the article submission site they will associate the link embedded with your keyword. If I were writing an article for this site it linking my keyword would look something like this:

How socializing helps make me money

People will say that having your link on a social bookmarking site will not make you money, don’t listen to them. They’ll say that social bookmarking sites will get you tons of traffic, but just casual, browsing traffic. So what? I’d rather have 20,000 casual browsers at my site then nothing. Why? Because if you’re reading my site, you know I offer intriguing and useful information, not bland b.s looking to just sell you something. If a casual browser comes to my site, the information I offer may intrigue that viewer and get them interested. Guess what? I just turned a casual browser into a specified viewer. Even if they don’t become intrigued at all with my site, with a lot of casual browsers, a portion of them are bound to click some ads offered on my site, which makes me money.

Social site users NEVER click on ads or spend money

I know for a fact that this isn’t true but we will just pretend it is. Lets say one of my loyal viewers links a particular article to a social site. Lets say that site is Digg.com, as you can see at the end of this article, I have a bunch of buttons where you can upload this article, or any article on my site for that matter, to a particular social site. I now have a deep back link to my article from a PR8 (Page Rank 8 ) site! What does that do? That helps strengthen my site’s position with the search engines, which in turn brings more specific, information seeking or product purchasing users!

Socializing DOES make money

I love socializing, in the physical and internet world, socializing gets your name out and helps you show your true side, which is hopefully a good side. I started my Twitter account only a short while ago and because of the information I link on my Twitter account, I get lots of followers who will then click my links and hopefully become loyal viewers of my page. That is my main goal with this site, to create a loyal viewer base who will rely on me for information in their financial success journey. However, it is the loyal visitors who make me money the most because of the trust they have for me and truly enjoy and believe in the information I provide.

How to make quick cash with HubPages: technique I figured out

From what I noticed, whenever I would not post a Hub for a day or two, my profile Hub Ranking would increase and I would get a greater amount of viewers. So what I decided to do was two days out of this past week, I didn’t post a Hub and would then compensate by posting 2 Hubs on one day. For some strange reason, and I can only throw out a speculation that it breaks up the pattern of Hubs and spammers usually follow a pattern, I began to get more visits to my Hubs and more AdSense money.

In addition to this technique, I decided to up my minimum word count to 750 words. This gives me a more dynamic Hub which engages the reader more and HubPages seems to really enjoy this as well. In case you’ve never heard of it before, Google Ad Sense is probably the premiere advertisement generating revenue stream on the internet. Any time you see on a website, such as Quick Cash School, the term “Ads by Google”, that is an Ad Sense advertisement. This is one of my main stream ways of generating revenue, outside of the eBay affiliate program.

It is pretty simple, you’re basically becoming a marketer for various sites. The better you perform, the more they’ll pay you.

Google has something called AdWords, which is a paid system where by people can advertise on their servers. They basically “bid” on various keywords that they’d like to focus their advertisements on; their target market. Depending on the demand of the keyword, it directly reflects the price (rule of supply and demand). Once they pay their dues, they are asked to provide a title and two brief lines about their advertisement. After all that is satisfied, the final product resembles what you see on this page.

How does Google Ad Sense make me money?

It all depends on how much money is bid on the keyword. From that amount, Google sets up a commission that they’re willing to give you for every click your page generates. Pretty cool right? A page viewer just has to click on an advertisement from Google Ad Sense on your page and viola, you get paid. That doesn’t mean however, that you can click on the links yourself or ask people to click on your advertisements, that is a huge no-no that could get you banned.

An important factor is not to exceed 3 AdSense units per page. Exceeding that is a violation of terms of service and can get you banned from the program.

What I love about implementing AdSense into an eBay affiliate page is that if a viewer comes to my page and isn’t interested in either the products I offer or bidding on eBay, the advertisement offered on my page may entice the mind of the viewer and get them to click on the ad. The click generates me revenue regardless of whether the viewer purchases anything or not. In the future, we’ll discuss methods of making money from commissions on products other then those offered on eBay, purchased through your site.

You now have added two forms of revenue to your website. However, there are many other ways that we will go over to generate more money without seeming to overly promote it. The key is to subtly entice the viewer into the either purchasing mindset or the seek further information mindset. My first site I ever started, selling bluetooth devices, took 2 months to make me $6.53. It’s funny, even though it was such a little amount, I got a sense of reward that all of my efforts finally were coming to fruition. However, once I started to understand what I was doing, I had sites that took only days after I created it to make me money and continue to do so. Talk about how to make quick cash!

Your first site will be your worst

It’s wildly understood that your first eBay affiliate program website will be your worst. One of the most common mistakes first timers do is they either create a site in a highly competitive market or they do not specify their micro niche enough. After you create your second site, which will undoubtedly be better then the first, you will notice the mistakes you made on the first site and continue on. What I always do is to keep a log of everything I did that was successful for promoting the site, hence the reason I’m able to remember everything to give you guys.

So I decided to go over to CashCrate and get a first hand look at what their magical formula would be. I was expecting some kind of AdSense or affiliate related type of program, surprisingly enough, it is a survey and trial based site. I decided to sign up and try it out.

After you complete a couple online forms, CashCrate provides you with a tutorial video to get everything done and what I needed to do to make me money. Immediately while watching the video, the red-flags went up about this program. Plain and simple, I hate having to sign up for trials and fill out forms with my address and phone number. Why? Because I know from experience that that will mean a few weeks of unknown numbers calling my phone and a lot of junk email.

My CashCrate review proved this about the program, you’re taking to either a survey in which you are asked to fill out a few simple forms with your information (name, address, phone number, email) and then you fill out the survey. Once the transaction is complete they pay you, ranging from $.25-$2.25. Now I know that sounds like very little money, but the good thing is, CashCrate has hundreds of surveys and trials available and is constantly updating them with new ones. These survey’s usually take 2 minutes to fill out, so yes you can make money with this program. The problem is, I HATE getting those annoying phone calls and emails of programs promising to make me more money when I already know how to make money and don’t need an expensive course to teach me what I already know.

Are those affiliate links I’m pointing you to? Yes, because if you think you can withstand all of the phone calls and emails you’ll soon be receiving and want to try and make money from CashCrate, go ahead. Like I always say, find as many revenue streams as possible. All in all, the CashCrate program could easily make me money, if I’d be willing to withstand the above mentioned negatives. Although we never truly know what aspects of web site SEO is given the most weight when it comes to SERP’s (Search Engine Ranking Page), the talk around the water cooler has been that deep linking has slowly moved its way up the list of importance.

Deep linking is linking by other pages to pages deep in your site. For example, if a page was to link http://www.quickcashschool.com on their page, by today’s rumors that wouldn’t serve as much importance as a site that links to this exact article, http://quickcashschool.com/cheap-search-engine-optimization-2. Kind of get the objective? Since deeper sites are more specific, linking to them will help search engine users pin point more accurately what they are looking for. What did you just say Will?

Its basically like this, I’m searching for information on Willie Mays’ rookie year statistics. Now you have a site that has baseball statistics for a variety of players and even has every detailed statistic for Willie Mays’ rookie year from batting average down to on-base percentage to fielding percentage. However, no one has ever linked to that direct page, instead they’ve linked to your home page. Now your competitor doesn’t have as much a detailed list of statistics as you do on Willie Mays but he does have a high Page Rank site pointing to that specific site. That gives him more link strength and will probably cause his site to come up before yours in SERP’s

It is easy to maintain your advantage over other sites when it comes to deep linking. When participating on blogs, forums, posting articles, etc., when the site asks for your URL post the URL of an article on your site that is the most closely related to the site you’re hoping to get a deep link from. If there was a blog talking about cheap search engine optimization or web site SEO in general, I’d post a link to http://quickcashschool.com/cheap-search-engine-optimization to gain a more specific approach to link building.

I can do it myself, or I can provide such high quality information that my viewers will want to share the information with the world. They do that by posting my links on social networking sites. At the bottom of each page, I’ve got a bunch of buttons that allow you to post the particular article on a social networking site. By doing so, I receive a deep link on an extremely high Page Ranking site.

Robots.txt file

A robots.txt file essentially gives permission to search engines to index your site. The robots.txt file will have commands in it that can be highly specified or can allow all search engines to crawl and index your sites contents.

Get an XML Site map

If you’re a Build a Niche Store user then you can get a site map from the Niche Store Builder for free. If you’re a WordPress user, the plug-in, Google XML site map is a great site map generator.

A site map is an easy way for search engines to check for updated content. It is basically an outline of your entire site for the robots to look at. When a new article is posted, your site map is updated and sometimes even alerts robots of the update.

Probably the most important aspect in obtaining cheap search engine optimization would be keyword density.

Keyword density

You can have all of the aforementioned check points done to a T but if your keyword density is lacking or over abundant, your SERP’s will be hurt dramatically. When I say keyword density, I’m talking about the amount of times your actual keyword is present in your articles. My general rule of thumb is to have the keyword in the beginning of the article and within the last 50 words of the article, also have it present 5-7 times for every 300-1000 word article. Anything more add one (1) keyword per 500 words. In addition to that, have approximately three (3) of your keywords in bold or italicized style. Search engine robots look for phrases (your keywords) that are the most present in the article along with styled (bold or italicized) words. So, if you have a keyword that is the most present phrase in the article and styled, you’ll have a leg up on getting ranked.

Once you’ve accomplished this, you can use Web CEO to analyze your pages and see how a search engine would view your page. I explained more about Web CEO in my earlier post on internet marketing.

I’ve actually created a couple of sites where I’ve spent absolutely nothing on search engine optimization. What can I say, I was broke and necessity is the mother of all invention. Those sites didn’t do as well as the ones I spent a little money which therefore made me focus this post on cheap search engine optimization. As I said in the last post, search engine optimizing, there are basic things you can accomplish to get your site noticed by robots but now its time to get into the grit and grime of it.

Page Rank is your guiding factor

Google’s Page Rank has become probably the premiere indicating factor of how well a site is optimized for search engines. It will usually take a properly developed site around 6 months to gain a page rank of 2/10 (2 out of 10). So, my site began in August, 2009, if I don’t have at least a ranking of 2 by February 2010, I’m obviously not qualified to talk about this if I can’t even get my own site ranking well.

The reason it takes so long to develop a Page Ranking is that Google wants to make sure your site is established. If they immediately gave a strong Page Rank to a brand new, month old site, any one could just create a site, leave it alone and establish superiority in that niche.

Keep your content fresh

If you take away one thing from this site, it is keep your content updated and fresh! Search engines love ORIGINAL content. This whole article spinning craze black hat web site SEO to me. The way technology goes, I’m sure they will soon enough find a fool proof way to determine the originality of the content. I love talking about the money making possibilities that are out there and this allows me to constantly write interesting and educational articles which will hopefully help you one day. Also, keep your content related to your keywords, the crawlers have an ability to relate your keywords and tie it into your whole page to get not only a micro view of your article but an overview of your site.

Article Submission Software

Brad Callen’s Article Submitter Software allows you to write an article and submit it to hundreds of ranked sites. I started off using the free version until I made enough to upgrade to the paid version, the difference is great! Also use the two most prominent article submission sites, eZineArticles.com and GoArticles.com These article sites allow you to post your link either within your article or in a resource box. Since these sites are crawled more often then your less established site, the search engines will crawl your article and notice your link in an article and give it some link roid’s (strength of your site).

Back Links and one way linking

Those sites that you submitted your article to with a link on your page are usually high ranking (4 or better) sites. Google has a Page Ranking formula they follow which has a strong focus on back links. A back link is basically a “reference” to your site. One of my favorite ways of getting back links is by participating in blogs and forums related to my keywords. If a page with a high Page Rank puts a link on their site that points to your page (one-way linking), that gives your link strength (link roid’s), because it came from a well established, and hopefully reputable site. If you’re constantly getting links from de-indexed sites or 0 PR sites, chances are you’re not going to be helping yourself and could be hurting yourself. So make sure, if you’re exchanging links, its coming from a strong and reputable site.

Once you have an established site, you will quickly notice owners from other sites will ask for you to participate in their site. Either by posting an article or voicing your opinion, etc., in return for this favor you can ask for a one way link to your site from the site you’ve posted on. If you’d rather ask to be paid instead of having a link, you can try, but my opinion is, in the long run you’ll make more money by establishing links. So when you go to Google or Yahoo and type link:yourdomain you will hopefully have a large list of results for pages pointing links at your site.

Is this cheap search engine optimization cheap enough for you yet?

Once you get used to this stuff, it will all get a lot easier. The first time around it is a daunting task and will take a little while to achieve results but will all be worth it. As I originally said, we want to make your web site SEO process seem as natural as possible to prevent any problems with search engines. Sometimes, using cheap search engine optimization actually helps you achieve that natural look. The reason for this is because since you are going at your own pace to handle these things and not having either a team of people forcing your site links all over the internet, you don’t have to worry about the dreaded SPAM label. Instead, you’ll have natural and cheap search engine optimization.

The first 3 days of the experiment netted me $5.26, yeah I know, not much. If you’re wondering, all of those Hubs were created using optimized niche keywords which I found to have very little competition and suitable for me to create a 500+ word article, all the while being heavily searched. I even implemented some of Micro Niche Finder’s Hot Trends option to select some topics, the Brett Favre signing with the Vikings fiasco was one of them. I’ve mixed it up, some of the pages linking back to my sites with information relevant to the Hub and some just about generally searched information as an attempt to get AdSense revenue.

After a couple days of frustration, I mean come on I’m not used to making a measly $5.26 in 3 days, I’d be better off standing by the Lincoln Tunnel begging for money, I started to reap my rewards. Now, I know that is not something to alert the media about, but I started as a completely new user on HubPages and had little status, so my pages weren’t given as much publicity and importance as they’ve slowly become. It’s a clear answer on how to make quick cash as I have now put it probably 2 hours or less of work for these Hubs. Now, as these Hubs sit there and advance up search engine rankings, they will make me money. So, for 2 hours of work, I’ll continue to make money as long as the Hubs have visitors. I bet the work you do at your paid by the hour job doesn’t resinate to your paycheck next year does it?

This is why I emphasize the need to be patient. Making money online is to be treated like a fine wine, you have to be patient and let it mature before you can reap its benefits. Once that maturity has been reached, I’ll be sure to make a lot more money on my Hubs. Now I know this isn’t the best answer on how to make quick cash, but it does make money online!

A few weeks ago I got an email with the subject “Project Payday is back!” The email explained that there are new advertisers and promotions to be fulfilled. Skeptical, I checked it out, and the email was correct, there was definitely more and I could thankfully, once again use Project Payday to make me money.

How do you make money with Project Payday

If you’ve ever been online and saw an advertisement saying “Win a free PS3!” Or something to that effect, it’s not a scam. I thought the same thing at first, but truth is, this is really a legit thing and you do win the prize advertised.

If you’ve ever clicked these advertisements you’ll usually be directed to a page that asks you to refer a set number of friends to sign up to a service. The services can be free, trial, or full membership (free and trial is the more common), and can range from getting a free credit report to net flix trials, to dog grooming tips. Once you get the required number of referrals, the gift is yours! Now I know it’s difficult to get your friends to sign up to any of these things because we’ve been programmed as kids to realize it is probably a scam. But what if you could pay your friends to sign up for these offers? Say $20 for each friend. If the gift requires 5 referrals, and you’re paying your friends $20 each, that is $100 you spent. However, the PS3 is worth way more than that, so you actually make out good.

That is where Project Payday comes in. Project Payday promotes an Incentivized Freebie Website (IFW) as their completely legit way of making you money. They have thousands of people on their site who are willing to pay you to be their “referral”. They even have a “Fast-first program” that will make you $50 bucks within an hour (depending on how fast you read). It’s fast, and best of all it’s FREE. Not to mention, it is easy to make me money.

The amount of money you make all depends on how much effort you put into it. Once you accomplish the necessary objectives of the offer you’ll “go Green” and will be paid through the safe and secure methods of PayPal. Through this, you can work your way up to becoming the one who pays people for there referrals or you can stay as one who fulfills others referrals. Either way, you make money!

As far as today, August 21, 2009 goes, I’ve made $90 today signing up for a free credit report, a trial of net flix, and a Cyber Defender program. Took me 20 minutes and made me $50, not bad at all. My suggestion though would be to keep a notebook of all your trials you sign up for. Every time anything is going to be sent to my address or I get an online trial of anything, I write down what I signed up for, the date, when the trial ends, and what number I have to call to cancel my trial if I find no use for it. If you fail to do so, like I did the first time, you might get caught with a product costing you a lot of money. However, I have gotten some products that I signed up as a free trial and then fell in love with the product and kept it seeing value in it. Either way, I know this will take some work since signing up for these things is a pain, but I’ll see how it goes.

In the next few weeks I will keep a log of how much money I’ve made from Project Payday and hope that the offers continue to be numerous so that it can continue to make me money.

Making money on the web with internet marketing

Congratulations! You’ve been accepted into the eBay affiliate program and are ready to start earning! This is the hardest part, and the reason I asked you to choose a niche which was highly sought after with relatively low competition and you were passionate about. The reason that I wanted you to be passionate about the subject all boils down to the content you will produce. Content is your bread and butter when it comes to attracting the likes of Google, Yahoo!, and other big name search engines. Without exposure to your website from search engines, you won’t make lots of money.

Search engines do a thing called “crawling” where they have their bots scan your page on a scheduled basis to find out if you’ve introduced new content to the page. All the while, they are looking for keywords that help them understand what the page is exactly about. That is mainly what they’re looking for, to see how often you update your page with fresh content. Because of that, it is important that you update, and update often! If you choose a subject that you aren’t passionate about, you’ll quickly run out of things to talk about and lose traffic rapidly.

Now on that same note, please don’t post 20 articles on your page in one day and then not post anything for several weeks thinking that those 20 articles should satisfy the bots for weeks. The truth is, these bots don’t operate on a “what have you done for me recently basis”, instead it is a “what are you doing for me right now” basis. What that means is if say the bot crawls your page every 5 days for new content, if it finds the 20 new articles on its crawl and then returns in another 5 days to find nothing, that will hurt your rankings with the search engine and will hurt your Quick Cash chances. I tend to update my articles based on how often the bot scans my site. That is the good thing about HostGator, their cPanel awestats page shows when each bot has crawled your page.

If you use WordPress, you can actually write a whole bunch of websites and create a drip feed where you basically schedule when the articles will be posted on your website. This is a good method if you only have a day or two free a week. Like I said, if you want to make money, you’ve got to sacrifice your free time now, so that you can be successful later.

How do I get the search engines to recognize my web site and get pay offs from my internet marketing?

There are actually several ways in which you can get the search engines to begin crawling your site. My recommendation is to use the most natural approach as possible. Due to our age of SPAM, search engines have based their crawling techniques on weeding out those that spam and fill the web with junk in artificial ways.

When I use WordPress, every article I publish is automatically pinged to the search engines to tell them that I’ve posted a new article. However, when I use a BANS site, I will normally submit a separate article to eZinearticles.com with a link to my page. These article sites have a high Page Ranking and are constantly crawled by search engines. So if you have a link to your page on the site, the search engines will find it and put it on the list of pages to crawl.

Another way would be to submit your pages to as many search engines as possible. Whenever I do this, I use Web CEO to submit my site to over 100 search engines. They have a free version which I love and once you get the cash up, you can further enhance your site with the Premium edition.

I decided that I’m going to try the same experiment that the guys over at TheKeywordAcademy.com did. They decided to post 30 hubs in 30 days on HubPages to see how much can be made. I’ll explain how to make quick cash easily and over the course of the month I’ll keep a log of my earnings.

How to Make Quick Cash with HubPages

HubPages allows you to not only promote your site through article submission, they also allow you to add AdSense to your page along with eBay affiliate auctions, Amazon affiliate auctions, and Kontera text links, so its also another way to learn how to make quick cash with your site. It’s actually a great method of promotion for your site as well, you get paid to promote your site basically being that HubPages has become so popular.

When you sign up to HubPages you are given a score to basically rate your performance and to make sure you aren’t a spammer. From what I’ve heard, your “Hub’s” are given a “nofollow” command on its robots.txt file until you reach a profile score of 70. That means that your Hub won’t be indexed in the search engines until that score is reached.

The Quick Cash Experiment

I will use Micro Niche Finder to conjure up a list of 30 or more keywords. The premises I choose these keywords are based on a variety of factors:

I started this experiment on August 10, 2009 with a brand new account. My starting HubPage score was 11, as of today, I’m up to a 58 after four posts. I’m using back links on each of my pages and have yet to make any money. I think the reason behind this would be that I’m not established yet with a score of 70 or above. I think the guys over at TKA started with a semi-established account, and that’s the reason they made money in their first week. However, since a lot of you guys probably never heard of HubPages, you’d also be starting from scratch so I didn’t want to have a head start on you to make you feel like you were doing something wrong.

**UPDATE: Checked my stats a couple hours after originally publishing this post to find I’ve made $2.00 off one AdSense click. Not much, but its a start! $2.00 for one click and the HubPage isn’t even popular yet. I can’t wait to see when they are popular!**

Before we start getting ahead of ourselves, lets first worry about getting accepted into the eBay Affiliate program. In order to do that, we need to fill our site with keyword rich content. Adding lots of content lets the good ol’ people at eBay know that you mean business and are driven to generate profits for them, which in turn generates profits for yourself. Besides that, since your site is a WordPress based site, every post you make is pinged. A ping is basically a notification to any search engine willing to listen that your site has been updated and they should crawl the site for interesting content. Once that post has been index, you have successfully voiced your purpose of how hard you’ve worked and have only added to your chances of being bumped up in the search engine rankings and make lots of money.

A general guideline however, would be to have at least two (2) 500 word articles on your site along with anywhere from 150-300 words per store and content page. If you have more then 300 words per store and content page, that is fine. Remember, you can never have enough content.

Once you have at least 10 articles on your site, with two 500 word articles, then you can go to eBay Partner Network, apply to become an eBay affiliate, and start to make money on the net!

Using eBay to make money on the web, internet marketing tips

You may have noticed last night (August 10, 2009) that around 11:00 pm, eastern standard time, the website was down due to a security infraction. Actually, all of my sites, since they are under the same host domain, were hit with a malicious script that came from a form on one of my other sites which I allow viewers to upload pictures to the site. I was ecstatic, I have close to 20 articles which I had been working on earlier in the day and had yet to back up when the site was taken over. Just about every curse word in the book, English and Spanish, was let out as I believed I just lost all of that work.

Since I couldn’t get back into my site, I called up HostGator, the company that hosts my domains and explained to them the problem. They told me to email security and explain the problem. As I awaited a response, I checked out the website security software of multiple hosting domains only to find that HostGator provided the one of best security teams around. Soon enough, I learned that they were absolutely right!

Security informed me by 12:00am that my website was hacked and even pinpointed the exact vulnerable spot which they entered from, how to fix that, and how to prevent it in the future. Not only did they fix my site, their software had backed up my page automatically before any of this happened and my site was brought back to normal, with all of the articles I have been working on!

Your niche strategy will be your most important aspect in determining how popular and how much revenue will be brought in by your site. It is the foundation of the entire Quick Cash School Success Steps System. Without proper niche research and learning how to find a niche, you will more then likely be venturing into a competitive internet market to the likes that you’ll never reach into top echelons of the Search Engine rankings (I’ll explain all of this later).

What is a Niche?

A niche is a specific area of a larger market. For example, a large market would be cellular phones, a niche would be BlackBerry devices, and a micro niche would be a specific model of BlackBerry devices. Your job will be to determine a specific niche that is heavily searched for but is not in a highly competitive market that will be almost impossible to become popular in. My first mistake in my internet marketing niche search was that I started an eBay affiliate website selling bluetooth devices. Little did I know, that market was so heavily competitive that I never reached the first page in the search engines for the keywords I honed on and was quickly de-indexed from Google’s search engine.

How to find a niche

Learning how to find a niche can be a daunting task. What I do first before I create a site is I make a list of 100 niche ideas. Anything that pops in your head that can be sold on eBay. Make sure you become familiar with eBay’s List of Prohibited and Restricted Items before you create your list. After you’ve finished your list, download the Google Toolbar for use on your Firefox browser. The reason I want you to download the Google Toolbar is that every website that is available on their search engine is assigned a Page Rank (PR). The Page Rank is a scale from 0-10 to determine the importance of the page in Google’s eyes. 10 being the highest, 0 being the lowest. The Page Rank is a small rectangular bar usually found between the Bookmarks and Autolink buttons. If you notice the bar is completely grayed out, that means that the site you are currently visiting is not indexed on Google’s search engine.

Once you have that downloaded, you will then use Google AdWords: Keyword Tool and enter each of your 100 keywords and click “Get Keyword Ideas.” A listing will be brought up that will have from left to right: Keyword, Advertiser Competition, Local Search Volume, Global Monthly Search Volume, and Match Type. You’ll want to focus on the Advertiser Competition and the Global Monthly Search Volume. If the search volume is over 1,000 and the competition is relatively low, open a new tab in your browser and enter the keyword into a Google search and find the PR of every page on the first search results page. If it’s below 4, you’ve probably found a good niche.

Next, take that keyword and go to eBay and enter it into a search. Go through the results page and see if the product is being bid on. If a majority of the results are in fact being bid on, you’ve found yourself a winner! If most of the products have zero bids, then don’t expect anyone to bid on the auctions on your page either.

After going through the first couple of keywords on your list, you’ll notice this is an extremely tedious task. An easier method would be to use a program called Micro Niche Finder.

If you’ve come across this site through the results of a search engine, there is a 90% chance you found this site because of my use of Micro Niche Finder. This program allows me to enter a keyword idea into its program and it returns various phrases related to the keyword, the search count from the prior month, the exact phrase count, the Ad-Cost (very important for AdSense revenue), the Commercial Intent of the keyword, and the Strength of Competition for that keyword. Not only does it do that, but it also offers a search for ClickBank related products, Amazon Affiliate related products, Google Search, and various other affiliate searches. It also will provide you with Hot Trends searches from Google and a Brainstorming option in case you’ve got a mental block. You will still have to enter your target keyword into an eBay search to determine if there are actual bids on the auctions but as you can see, this product really helps you dominate a highly sought after, but uncompetitive niche in no time. It is the main reason how I’ve made as much money as I’ve had with internet marketing and is your one stop program to answer the question, how to find a niche.
