Everywhere I look lately from design to fashion I see rosettes.  I think they are so cute.  A new discovery of mine is Emersonmade.  This blog has adorable rosette pins, belts, purses and some extra stuff.  It is such a cute site and I plan on ordering some rosettes very soon.  I would love to put them on my dresses, sweaters, jackets and shoes.  Speaking of shoes this seller on ETSY sells shoe clips!  These rosettes would dress any shoe up!  What a cute idea.

I have found some art that I just love!  Her name is Amanda Talley.  Her studio is in New Orleans and she is so very creative.  Her art is modern and sophisticated with wonderful color selections.  I would love a pair or 3 for going up my stairs in my family room.  She has become a celeb in the blog world being featured in many of the most read blogs.  I love, love, love her work.

If you have never heard of the company Design Legacy you are in for a real treat! I discovered this wonderful company at market in Atlanta in my favorite high design area.  The space they create to present their merchandise is so creative.  They have received best showroom many times.  They deserve it!  The products they carry look very eclectic and vintage.  They are one of my absolute personal favorites!  We also carry pieces in the store that would be great in a kids room.

I have also figured out to post BIG pictures which gives you a much better view of the blog!

Ok so I think I read on some website the other day that hunting season for deer has begun?!  Am I correct?  I obviously am not a hunter, neither is my husband (surprised) so I am not really into it.  But I am into antlers for decor.  Now the antlers that I have in my house are very different from "real" antlers.  And one day I may consider some real antlers for my wall, sophisticated antlers of course, but for now my acrylic antlers will do!!  Antlers add a hint of rusticness (is that word?) to a room.  Also they are interesting.  I put them in my show house and they are a conversation starter.  That was the number one thing I was asked about... not always positive questions.. but everyone has their own taste I guess.

These are my antlers.  This picture was from the showhouse.  In my house I have them grouped in my entryway.  Pictures of my entrway will follow.

I am already staring my New Years resolution.... MY BLOG.  I love blogging, I do I do, but time is NOT on my side these days.  So I am promising to you, my readers (which I had a good following for a good while) that I will post more frequently!!  Having a store during the holidays, holidays meaning August-January, takes all my energy and attention.  But I would love feedback and comments so I can make this as fun and enjoyable as I can.  This year plans for the blog are:  frequent give aways, promotions for the store and LOTS of good ideas!!!  You all have a wonderful day and I AM BACK :)  I won't leave you with absolutely nothin', here is a pic of my husband, Nathan and I on Halloween.  We had a great weekend!!
