For episode 12, Apollo Cutts is on the scene at B Street Skatepark in Sacramento for Omar Salazar’s pre-shoe launch demo for the kids. Omar raised all the money to install new features at the park and got his sponsors to hook up a bunch of product for the locals. It’s ill to see dudes stay so down for their hometown.

In a groundbreaking move for the skateboard industry, the day Wednesday has been given it’s own pro model by DVS. OK, it’s actually a collaborative version of the Berra 3 between Steve Berra, Giovanni Reda, and DVS to celebrate Reda’s show “Wednesday’s With Reda” on The Berrics, but it’s super rad that it just says Wednesdays on the side. Hump day will never be the same. To launch the shoe KCDC is having a coffee and cannolis party on Saturday March 20th. Full details after the jump.

Rad Collector columnist Tracy Anderson was out west to skate Sac Town, BBQ with the Thrasher heads, tour Deluxe, and kick it with Omar, P-Rod, Koston, Stefan Janoski, Brian Anderson, Justin Brock and a long list of other SB shreds as well as to get the story about what it took for Omar to get his shoe turned into a reality. The Safe Trestles competition will implement the best design that provides safe access with minimal impact.

Peetu Piiroinen made history yesterday by winning the Oakley Arctic Challenge in Oslo and clinching the overall TTR title for the second straight year. The double win comes right on the heels of his silver medal in Vancouver. Yeah you could say the kid is having a good year. Homeland favorites Torstein Horgmo and Mikkel Bang took second and third.
