Nowadays no one sends snail mail. I don't have enough stuff to really need many boxes.
I realize my physical body has lived at its current location since 1998. I love it here 93% of the time. But cyberlife has changed. I feel stale and itchy and stuck when I try and write new things on the old page. New career path, new meds, new dentist, new computer, more focused life, less stuff, less dead ends, new friends ...... the world has turned and the old neighborhood just doesn't feel homelike anymore.

Nowdays, since my mind lives on line, it's logical to move not my body, but the idea output outlet. Makes sense to me, anyway. Like apartment carpet, some of those the old entries were getting past-pull date embarrassing, matted and dirty, things I just didn't care to have flapping out on the line anymore. The best juicy stuff will be in the book anyway. All names and shoe sizes and dog breeds will be changed to protect the guilty.

So Mom and the other 36 people who read this: I've moved my soapbox to http://meowblah3.blogspot.com/

Expect new flavors, colors, shapes and topics. Less cranky, more constructive. That's the aim, anyhow.
Adjust your bookmarks accordingly.

See Ya!

=^..^=

Technology & the Family

OK, so here I sit blogging on my Mac and watching my son play synthesizer keyboard in his room, right there on my Dell PC. In real time. He's about 150 miles away. It's www.blogtv.com. Ain't technology grand! Warm and fuzzy! Once in awhile there are annoying commercials, like real TV. I can sit around and listen to my kid jam aimlessly and try out new riffs and play pieces of songs and other sonic ideas that float through his creative mind as he slouches in front of the keyboard with his puff of blonde, brown and purple hair, lip-ring, darkening tan and those colored rubber bracelets kids wear nowadays. He's whipping off a wicked blues riff right now. That's mah boy!

And then it hit me; I can't quit blogging, my mom is watching, from 1700 miles away.

<media:rating>nonadult</media:rating>
