In it, he makes a great point on studio location: "There's no point being stuck in a community centre in the middle of nowhere. Where does everyone hang out on a Saturday? The town centre. So where are we? The town centre."

However, you're all still very welcome to email launch info and anything else you'd like to see published about your station to hello@radiolicious.co.uk. I'm offering this as a service to the community radio, erm, community. But as you can see from our new strapline, this site is now all about "community radio tips and ideas". That means I'll be posting about anything people might find helpful, from news to music selection to production with a particular focus, at least in this early stage, on how new web technology can help your project to thrive.

But it's by no means a one-way thing. You'll notice a new button at the top of the page, "Conversation". Clicking this will take you to a forum--yes, I know, before you groan, it's yet another forum--but this is a forum with a difference. Gone are the bewildering arrays of lists and numbers. Gone are the equally bewildering anoraks keen to put the boot into everything that's ever been broadcast on the radio. In their place, once it establishes itself, will be an easy to use discussion page full of helpful community radio people from volunteers to management to listeners, sharing opinions and knowledge on the sector.

This site is still under development--if I was being a bit more pretentious, I'd say it was "in beta"--but I hope you find it useful all the same. My inbox is always open to suggestions.
