How is my Christmass Tree? Simple one. Lighting and red ribbon only. I guess Rado do like it.

Seriously, I am not “celebrating” Christmas for 11 years in a row. Working abroad + being and hotelier make no room for public holidays for me. Celebrating Christmass with Rado must be an enjoyable moment. He got his new cloth.. eh.. I forgot to buy mine lah. Takperla. bapak pakai baju lama pun jadi lah.

It is yearly event by Mega Hotel in conjunction of their anniersary I have to bring Rado, otherwise I am not “welcome” in Mega Hotel.

Me and Rado sesat at first. Normally they use Lobby Area for blood donation. This time was at Imperial Ballroom. Once I enter, people start kiss and hug Rado.. not only Mega Hotel staff, but Blood Bank too.

Nowadays, Rado pandai memilih. He will not go with anybody. Normally he will show his reject sign by showing “not interested” face. Sometime he just dont care if ada people want to carry him. Sudah pandai sombong. aperla. Sometime he just turn his back to people. But if we insist and just carry him, he will quiet. Not cry or scared to “unknown human being”. Suara dia jer yang shouting terkaong kaong dalam Ballroom. Seronok jugak dengar.

Out of all, Jenny Chen are the happiest person around. She didnt met Rado for couple of month. Same goes to Annie Yong. Sampai berebut rebut nak pegang Rado. And as usual, she will menyampaikan ceramah ringkas Parenting to me. Bagus kan. Ada advisor.

I let rado with them. I am the last person who will be “sucked” later. It is my 17th time derma darah. Boleh tahan kan. And they keep on pass Rado around and taking photo. Most of them I dont know who. maybe Blood Bank staff or Lion Club member or Pustaka Miri staff.

Lepas derma ada lite refreshment. Bihun goreng, bubur, milo, telur and fruits. Sudah upgrade menu. The lasttime only milo, telur and bubur.

Sedar tak sedar, Rado dah dibawa ke opis tingkat 7. Memang orang kat sana nak tengok juga. Rajin jugak orang pikul anak aku here and there.

Jalan – jalan with Jacq & Family

It was quite late when Jaq and invite to makan puyuh at Beer Garden last friday.

At first, I refuse to. No one take care of Rado while I going out. And after blur blur a while, then I decided to Bring Rado.

Me and Rado arrive there around 7.15pm. Nice enviroiment. New owner. Surround tree was decoreted with Christmass light. Rado love to see those light. Menjerit jerit pulak dia tengok api tu berkepip kelip.

We having Fried Puyuh, Lee Fah Mee Goreng, Umai Cicah, Steamed Fish and of course… a few round of beer. It was 7 of us. Jaq, her husband, 2 kids , 1 niece, me and Rado.

Rado did makan burung puyuh. To be exact, he is not makan, but to taste apa pulak rasa benda tu. I give Rado a chancese to taste any food that I take except hi-allergic food like prawn ketam and kerang. That one next time lah.

Jacq kids are more than happy to play with Rado… hehehehe

After having meals, we all jalan – jalan at Parkson Grand. Jacq husband belikan baju and sepasang seluar. Too bad. double oversized. Hahahahaha

Rado & Belle

Last Saturday me and Rado join RumahDayak.com for Potluck BBQ. Almost imposibble for me to prepare food. It will take the whole morning for me to “take care” of Rado. From 6am up to 10am. So I better buy something instead of cooking.

We suppose to start at 10am. But I am late. At the moment I arrive at Tanjong….. Me and Rado is keluarga yang kedua arrive kat sini. Well. What can I say.

Actually…. Rado come here by popular demand. Samantha, Belle mother really wanted to meet up with Rado. Belle is just 13 days older than Rado. This is 5th visit Rado to Tanjong Lobang.

Large crowd turn out that day. Adalah dekat dekat 60 orang. Makanan punyalah banyak. Sampai malam pun tak habis nak makan. Suppose to be at night me and Rado will Join Qino family for his sister birthday Party. But Rado is too tired when we arrived at Permyjaya around 7.30. Belum Baru jer pukul 8… dah tergolek. Kesian tengok.

Apa taknya. Time at Tanjong, people keep on pass Rado here and there. Kalau minta bayaran untuk satu ciuman, dah lama aku ngan Rado jadi Millionaire. Rado tetap aktif as usual… cuma nampak letih.

Preserved fresh fruits & vege

look at the ocras. They are still very, very fresh without any dehydration at all.

Tips ni di forwardkan oleh Aunty Temakul to me. I’m not sure this trick will work or not, but dari segi saintifik… memang boleh pakai lah. Tak rugi mencuba kan.

These days saya dah biasa sangat sangat buang sayur espeially sayur untuk rado. Kalau beli seringgit pun banyak sangat. Radi makan sehelai dua sehari… and then sayur tu layu. Terpaksa lah buang. Kalau saya sendiri makan…. cannot take it lah. I take local Iban green vege only. Takut Rado cannot take bitter vege lah pulak.

Sayangnya.. last nite saya buang 1 bungkusan macam ni.

An Indonesian maid shared a way to preserve fruits and vegetables which she learned from a family when she baby-sat for them in kl. That family was using “aluminum coated plastic bags” to keep their fruits and vegetables fresh for weeks!!! It’s so amazing.
I thought it was a good idea to save some unwanted resource which most people would throw away without any 2nd thought and here i am sharing with you the usefulness of this unwanted resource.

Here is the type of aluminum coated plastic bag from Quaker.. You can use any other type as well as long as it has the same type of material.

you can put plenty of fruits and/or vegetables in it..

look......after 1 week.....the vegetables are still fresh! Amazing, isn't it??? No dehydration at all.

but don’t fold or seal the opening of the bag. Just leave the bag open and it will do the magic work for you already. …..try it out…..
You would sure like it very much too. Instead of throwing these useful things away, re-use it again and you will be inherently joining the group of “saving the mother-earth” campaign too.

First teeth

Rado always marah marah when we eat something infront of him. Normally I chip off some food and put in his mouth. With coutious of course, I only give him part of the food that he already PASS to eat.

Last night I was having some Roti John and share some with Rado. When he bite my finger… Rasa tajam gusi dia touching my finger. Bila di check… Rado got his first teeth. Baru jer keluar. Panjangnya lebih kurang 2mm.

Anakku Teether

I was excited. Despite a long wait, Rado show no sign of having new teeth. Mliur meliur tu biasalah. Since 2 bulan dia dah meliur.Saya pun lama dah standby teether. I bought this one from anakku counter. Double pack with 2 pacifer for only RM13.90. I think this one is not free BPA.

Teether ni ada macam macam jenis. Ada yang dibuat dari kain atau plastik. Yang dari plastik tu pla sometimes contain water or gel. Gel contained teether can be soak in warm water for a few minutes to keep it warm. It can ease baby gum pain. Or it can be put inside freeze. That what I always do.

I always misuse this teether to confort Rado when he is not in good mood. Letak jer teether kat dalam mulut dia. Gerenti akan diam. Mungkin tengah pikir… apa benda yang sejuk sangat kat dalam mulut aku ni.

Thanks God Rado tak demam masa tumbuh gigi. Dan saya harap tak demam for the next teeth nak muncul.

This morning, Rado Fan Page at facebook.com mark 100 Fan. I create this page for Rado a month ago.Some of fan I dont even knew. Not even on my friend list, neither Rado friend list. Some fan maybe just “approve” when they are invite without realize what is it.
