a spring kitchen makeover!

while it's technically spring, we're still freezing our buns off on the east coast, as i'm sure is also the case in deephaven minnesota. but as you'll see in today's deephaven kitchen transformation, tulips go a long way in making it feel like spring. mary jane pappas of minneapolis's pappas design is gracing us with another delightful redesign. she's replaced a generic builder-grade kitchen with new white shaker-style cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, subway tile, hardwood flooring and a boatload of trim. top it all off with fresh flowers and this transformation is just like the month of march, it started as a lion and ended as a lamb.

14 weeks!

yes, i've been a very absent blogger. yes, i feel awful about it. yes, i believe i have good reason. i'm 14 weeks pregnant! tyler and i are expecting our first bundle of joy this august and we couldn't be more elated. we recently spent the morning with philadelphia photographer, courtney apple in rittenhouse square to capture our excitement and to spread the baby news. from this point forward i hope to be a more present blogger, as my energy levels are on the rise and my food is staying down. i'll keep the raenovations coming and maybe even throw in a bump photo or two. here's to baby!

i cannot express how good it feels to get a new before + after up, and a stunning one at that! the lovely mary jane pappas of minneapolis's pappas design recently sent over a stunning kitchen makeover from her archives. tucked in a corner, the generic kitchen was transformed with new white prairie-style cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, chocolate subway tile, and a boatload of trim. it feels good to be back!
