I was, like 16 years old when I was introduced to Calvin and Hobbes by my older brother. As a non-native English speaker, I must say that it was a challenge at first to read the comic strips, but the reward was sweet: one of the finest examples of dark (but not mean) humor, a special way of viewing the world by a hiper-active 7-something years old and his tiger friend.

I’m not going to get in the debate if whether Hobbes is imaginary or not, it’s just Hobbes!

So, yeah: 25 years later, married, with my two ‘Calvinic’ renditions, that strip still brings me joy when I un-dsut the comic book collection from my library (the corner of my room, cardboard boxes full of books). There are little jewels that bring me back to simpler times.

Define “well adjusted”

“Define well-adjusted” was the name of the blog I’ve had through the years. Sometimes it was about personal stuff, sometimes it was a mediocre attempt at being a script kiddie, and some other times it was only my insights on technology, free software and tech culture all around.

Since every other social platform in internet it’s currently burning, I’ll give another try at this blogging thing.
