Your family life needs to fit into a larger purpose, a purpose that is comprehensive, constructive, and cohesive. That purpose can't leave out the family nor destroy it. But your family should never be confused about who is most important in your life. And that is neither yourself nor them.

Faith and Self

Ask God for Wisdom

Weed Out Obsessions

The intentional life cannot be ruled by obsessions. They are unsuitable candidates for ultimacy. They distract and instead of being occupied with life in its totality, obsessions get you preoccupied with some aspect of life as though it were all of life.
