Five years.

Woah, breaking records. It's really an awesome feeling. Being able to get through the bests and worsts. But sometimes, I wish we can go back to the time when we were still starting our relationship. When all you can think about is all the cheesiness that will make you crazy all night long; When he was still your world and your his. When you think that nobody can ever beat your love for him/her.

But I must say, old sayings are true. Things really CHANGE. There comes a point in your relationship when you feel that you are just a habit. When you feel unworthy or insecure. I'm sure guys won't admit it cos they are always secure about themselves. Never will they admit, cos that's how they are in nature. You will feel insecure, unloved, rejected and stupid. Sometimes, you will be treated as if it's okay to hurt you but definitely not okay to hurt their other friends or other people. That's just how it is. You are the shock absorber.

I sometimes get jealous of my friends who's still in the first stage of their couple period, when demands are okay and does not need to be justified. When spending time with you or calling you 24hours a day-seven days a week is not yet annoying. When they decide to spend time with you instead of going out with friends. Bugsy told me before that this is not healthy and I agree 100 percent but I sometimes wish that we can go back at those times. Well not often cos we have different set of priorities now.

I understand that there is no perfect relationship. You might as well die if you claim that you are in that perfect world. It takes a lot of patience and understanding to be able to survive. AS IN 1BAJILLION SACKS OF IT.You are required to eat your pride a lot of times, say yes even if you really don't want to, not cry despite your aching ego, sacrifice your most wanted things cos you don't want this to be an argument nor be a threat to your relationship. Yes, you will feel tired of it but that does not mean it's time to give up. You should always ask yourself "What kept you holding on for so long?"

I am entitled to become a ball of cheese, cos aside from this is my blog, it is August and we have a month till our anniversary, I might not have the courage to write this anymore, so here it is..

I hate you at times cos you are so unpredictable. I hate it when you pull me and bring me to another direction when we are walking. I hate it when you tell me not to argue with a cab driver or a sales lady when I'm in a war mode. I hate it when you make me wait, I hate it when you never listen to me and just go on with what you have planned. I hate it when you say that you are just saying and not asking permission while I'm not allowed to do so and many other things.

But just to say that I may not have the most perfect boyfriend, but I am happy cos he also chose to be with an imperfect girl like me. I am proud because we were able to keep up with each other, despite our own complains and shortcomings. He may sometimes feel that I don't care nor I am not paying attention but one thing's for sure, I will always be here when all his friends turn him down. I will be here when his family does not seem to understand his saga to adulthood. I will be here when he feels that mother nature is not cooperating. I said just one but I guess there's a whole lot more but to cut it short, I will always be here.

As you said in 2006 Niey, You will love me until I believe in forever again. Thank you cos you made me so happy all these years. You taught me to become who I am today. You have made my life a one hell of a roller coaster ride. You will always be my one true great love.

I love you more today and will still love you more in the morning.

My new Turf.

On July 1st, it's my official first month in my new job. So far, so good. Maybe less expectations brought me good. I just really love the fact that I have a bigger work station. Meaning, more space for my junk.

I think it was on my first week when I started bringing all my stuff in the office. But since this is a new place, it needs new things and a new look. And so I did put on some new things but also kept the oldies. My work station is very important. That's actually one of the things, I would normally ask in my job interview. Off the record of course. I really don't know why, but my feelings for my work station is like a turtle to it's shell. HAHA Forgive me, If you don't get it.

I'm learning to adapt with the new Cubao state of mind. Proximity wise, it is really accessible and near my house. I was able to make new friends easily. Just like what the boyfriend said, I am the Theory of Evolution. HAHA I adapt easily. Well, I guess, I'm still getting the hang of it.

I'm really not sure if I'm happy about it. But for now, I'm really trying to set the border line between my work and personal life. I think this is really essential in order for me to keep my sanity and be able to live peacefully.

I shall continue to work hard and stick to my current plan. Find the balance that I'm looking for and save up for my future. I just really need to focus now. Keep my eyes on the goal.

By the way, there's really something about my new job that makes me want to go back to school. As in I want to work and study again. I hope that's something good.

All the best for me. May all my dreams come true. lol

Sagada Trip.

This post is way LONG OVERDUE.

So I decided to take the day off at work today and here I am trying to update my blog. Please expect to see posts on the same dates.

Let me start by saying, AT LAST. I have decided to finish this entry.

Last February my friends and I decided to go to Sagada for fun. Yiii. We wanted to experience the spelunking adventure and the awesomeness of the weather there. Ever since I saw Juday & Piolo's film (Yes, I watched that and another Yes, I'm jologs.lol) I told myself that I will go there. And since I'm in my Dora mode and I also wanted to break in my new camera for an adventure, we went.

It was the longest travel of my life. As you know, Sagada is 12-14 hours away from Manila and they don't have flights there, so you really have to commute by bus or drive your own car. There are actually two routes going to Sagada, you can take Manila - Bontoc - Sagada or Manila - Baguio - Sagada. We took the Manila - Baguio route since it's the easiest way for us. We left Manila at 11PM since we were left by the 10:30PM trip. Victory Liner was jam packed during this day since most people are going to Baguio for the Panagbenga Festival. So it is recommended to buy your tickets ahead of time and be at the terminal at least 20 minutes before your scheduled departure OR else the bus will leave you and you'll have to wait for the next trip as a chance passenger.

Baguio Arrival

We arrived in Baguio at around 5:30AM. We still have an hour to spare so we decided to eat breakfast at Chowking, since it's open 24 hours.

After breakfast, we took a cab going to GL Transit Terminal. There are two GL Terminals in Baguio, one is at the Ordinary Buses Terminal and one is at the Dangwa Station at the back of the Center Mall, you have to go at the Dangwa station. The first trip to Sagada is at 6:30AM. There are no air conditioned buses to Sagada so don't try to look for comfy seats or better yet, don't bother looking for a comfy bus ride. Here's the bus schedule:

The Bus Ride

There are two bus stops on the way to Sagada and as soon as we reached our first stop, I immediately went off the bus cos aside from my terrible need to pee, I wanted to click some photos and check out what's there to see.Halsema Highway was a beauty. You can see the clouds and it seemed so near to greet you Good Morning. HA! I was speechless.

There were countless rice terraces on the way. There were a lot of rough roads as well, so you have to be ready with your hanky or a gas mask if you're THAT "elite". We had to take another stop, since the road was narrow and there was a recent landslide, the vehicles had to alternately give way to pass. It was an hour stop I think. The ride was getting boring and since our seats were not that comfortable we were becoming uneasy. In times like this, Good company is very important. Your iPods, PSPs and camera's will be your bestest friends. Haha but of course nothing can beat a good conversation with your friends.

Finally Sagada

It was 11:30AM and as soon as the boyfriend and I saw the "Welcome to Sagada" board we were in our happiest state. Haha. We were just so excited to get off the bus. We arrived in Sagada at around 12 noon, just in time for lunch. We had to walk our way to Sagada Home Stay. We originally booked here but due to miscommunication of the owner and I, she had to transfer our booking to another transient house. Sagada Home Stay looked really nice and it was also best recommended by the other travelers. Too bad, the owner was not in her best state when she accepted our reservation. And by me saying that, "Sadyang na-tanga lang siya". She referred us to Manang Belen. She was a darling, she was so motherly. She accompanied us on or way to the new transient house and GOD! It was far. We had to walk another 15 minutes and it seemed like we were hiking already. It was a rough road. So imagine us with our luggages walking through this road.

We were not contented. The house was okay but It was hellah far from civilization. So my friend Lara & I decided to leave the boys and looked for another place to stay. Sagada is a small town so they don't have other modes of transportations such as tricycles or jeepneys. You really need to walk your way to the destinations you wish to go to. We went to check all the other Inn's but we were not lucky enough to find a place that's not yet fully booked. So we gave up and decided to just call the boys and asked them to meet us for lunch since we did not have the energy to go up that hill again. We ate our lunch at Masferre's. The food ranges between 150-300 pesos. We did not care anymore since we were all starving. After lunch we headed back to the Inn and decided to rest and take a bath. Man, taking a bath in Sagada was a challenge. So when you booked for an Inn or a transient house, make sure there is Hot Shower or a Water Heater. In our case, we had to take a bath with Ice cold water. Thank Goodness, We survived.

We strolled around the town and decided to eat dinner at the Yoghurt House. Each meal costs around 150-200 pesos I think. I ate Spaghetti and Chicken plus their Strawberry yoghurt for dessert. I didn't like their yoghurt cos the strawberry was not fresh, it seemed like it was from a can. I was expecting too much I guess, knowing that I'm in the Mountain Province -- They MUST have the best strawberries right? Haha

After dinner we headed back to the house and I must say that going back to the transient was really a challenge. We had to walk up to that pitch black path. We sang, talked and laughed just to forget that we were actually afraid of the dark. It was a fun night.

The next day, we woke up in a lovely morning. Sagada was in deed serene. We walked to go to the Saturday Market. We were supposed to buy food but we ended up shopping for Ukay goods. lol. They have a lot of really cheap stuffs! I think I was able to buy 6 jackets? I got so excited of the prices that ranged from 25-300 pesos.

We ate breakfast at Bana's Cafe. Food ranges from 70-300 pesos. My friend tried their famous Alamid coffee that costs 200 pesos. She told us that there's nothing special about the taste but it was worth a try. Our second day tour was the most tiring. But it was also the high light of our trip. Manang Belen arranged for our tour. Touring around Sagada is really not the usual thing that you would want to experience, unless you're a back packer from Europe or America. Thus, their tour fees are quite expensive. For a group of four, it cost us 3,600 pesos for the Cave Connection Tour and 1,200 for the Bom Od Ok Falls Tour. In addition to that we had to pay another 1,500 pesos for the van rental. The prices were quite steep but it was all worth it.

We first went to Bom od ok Falls that took us 2 hours of walking and hiking. God I really thought I was going to die after that. That's when we realized that we were really not fit. lol. The falls was a beauty but the water was too cold for swimming.

Right after the long trek and hike, we headed to our next destination. We experienced the Sagada cave connection. Which was a four hour experience inside Lumiang Cave to Sumaguing Cave.

This was a truly unforgettable Spelunking experience. We reached the end of the Sumaguing Cave at 6pm. We were wet, dirty and hungry. But again, it was all worth it. I shall tell this to my grandchildren. lol. After the tiring day tour, we ate dinner at The Lemon Pie House. The ambiance was really cozy and felt like home. The owner was really nice. She cooked a scrumptious Adobo for us and served Lemon & Egg Pie plus their Mountain Tea. It was perfect for the cold weather.

Right after dinner we were all tired to walk, so we had to rent the van again for 350 pesos to take us back to the house.

For our last day, we ate breakfast at the St Joseph's Inn, heard mass at the the St. Mary's Episcopal Chapel then went to our last two destinations which were the Echo Valley (where you'll see the hanging coffins and get to shout your heart out) and Sagada Weaving. A teenage local boy helped us to find the valley and we paid him 150 pesos. After the short tour, we went to Ganduyan Inn and other Souvenir shops to buy for pasalubongs and of course our "I survived Sagada Shirt".

It was one hell of an experience. If you want to be in a place where you want to conquer your fears and meditate at the same time, Sagada is the place to be. Serenity is the perfect word to best describe this place. I will go back for sure. *:)

Tomorrow's the first of June. I shall mark my calendar cos it's my first day at my new job. I am really hoping to get a fresh start. Though, I still need to go to my current work cos I'm still rendering my notice. My last day was supposedly yesterday but my boss asked me if I can extend until next week. Well I agreed cos I need to get my pay on the 10th for our Bohol Trip. Times are hard, you know. lol

I'm feeling a bit anxious with a lot of things. It feels like I need to do a lot of tasks before I leave my current employer. In addition to that, I'm scared that my new boss might be more evil than my boss. Considering that at times, my current boss is really nice, considerate and almost the greatest. I'm just anxious that my new life might be more complex than my current "life". I don't know, this is just how I'm created. I tend to over think and drown myself with worries.

I just hope that I made a good decision that this will do me good and that I'll be able to find what I'm really looking for.

So fingers crossed and wish me lots of luck. *:D

I have a job interview tomorrow. FTW. I hope I'll be able to nail this cos I really want to quit my job. The new company is way nearer than my current workplace. I just really wish I'll be able to get it. Please don't jinx me Monday. It's my first time to write about a stupid job interview. I hope I wont be disappointed tomorrow.

Well this was supposed to be scheduled last Tuesday but due to my recent accident [did I mention that I got hit by a motorcycle last Sunday, that's why I was confined at home] they had to re-schedule. So I really hope that the wait is all worth it. I hope it means something.

This is crazy. For the first time, I'm agitated. God damn it. I better rest and sleep, my interview is at 10AM. Oh well, If I don't get accepted, I will STILL resign on Friday. If you're going to ask me what will my plans be, I don't have any. So Lord almighty, please help me.

I'm really hoping for a brand new start. So, fingers crossed. xx

After a week of rest here at home, I'm finally going back to work tomorrow and guess what? I DON'T WANT TO. I just really don't want to go back in that bin. I'm going to go crazy.

It's pretty much going to be a hell week for me since there's a pile of work load waiting for sure. But Mom told me to keep it cool and just finish everything. It's just going to be another Monday.

I know I have been blogging about this before and I was not able to buy it yet cos I've been having second thoughts and with all the bills that I'm paying, I can't afford to add another payable on my list.

But knowing myself, If I really want something, I make sure that I make it happen. And voila! I will be getting my new Blackberry 9300! Woot! Woot! My mom told me that I can ask grandpops to get it for me! isn't that a bright idea?? Oh, how I love my Mother. *:D

So we'll be getting my new BB on May 1st. That's next Sunday. I would want to get it tomorrow but my financier won't be available. Hihi. I love my one and only Lolo. He sure spoils us. I CAAAAN"T WAIT. Well, just wanted to write something that would make me feel good about myself.

My 30-day blog challenge was forgotten. Okay, I was busy and swamped with a lot of things. -- Another excuse for my laziness to write.

I'm currently trying not to think of the things I'm supposed to be thinking of. I want to free my mind from any stress and worries. Why, that's some task I'm currently working on. Tomorrow is another Monday, another week to finish. Another week in my silent hell.

Yes, I know that this is vague for you, but just to give you a background, I got accepted in my prospect project last Friday. But the other details have not been given yet. The contact person said that I have to wait for their Director to contact me & give me the details. But it has been what? 3 days. Well, technically it was just last Friday and it's a weekend so I'm not really sure if I'm just being OA about it. But they told me that they need it on Tuesday already so I was in the impression, that it must have already been given to me last Friday if they really need it URGENT.

So, since it is in my nature of not wanting to wait. I texted the contact person and asked her if she happened to know when will it be and she replied "Oh..pls wait until she sends it dear.. we have discuss this already. hang on." Okay, I need someone to translate this, please? Do they still want me??

This is sad. They might not want me anymore cos I'm still connected or it's because I might be complicating things. Huhu This "waiting" thing makes me sad. I'm really praying that I get the call or the email already. cos If they don't like me, can they at least just say it?!

But if you are in my position, If you have already received the confirmation that they are offering you this project and said that you will be receiving another mail for the package? and that was made last Friday and it's Sunday today, would you still feel bonkers about it??

WAH, I know I don't make sense. THIS WAITING IS FUCKEN ANNOYING. It's toying with my feelings. I just really hope this waiting, will be worth it cos I really want that project. *:'(

I really can't stand all these stress. #almost crying.

Congrats to me, I learned how to get the timing of the speed ball. I am now in a relationship with Elorde's SB.Though the second day of training was more tiring and I can feel that there's more pain in my bodeh, I believe it's worth it. Damn it should! Along with this pain, are these ~~cute~~ spots I have in between my fists. I believe that's blood.

Today's training was intense. I had a different coach and I'm telling you. He was way different than my first coach(whom I met yesterday). He was really strict in terms of breaks, performance and FOCUS. I would normally joke when I miss out on the combinations his giving me or If I was not able to get what he said, but since he's a very serious coach, I would get a punishment every time I miss out on the combinations.

Whoever said boxing was easy? Damn, I now appreciate Manny Pacquiao's talent. I was able to learn three things in training today, First is to Listen --If you don't listen, you will not get your combinations right. Second, to be Patient -- Patience is a virtue. My encounter with the speed ball was a very good example and lastly, Third to FOCUS. In boxing, if you don't have focus might as well get a gun and shoot yourself in the head instead. lol.

My back hurts pretty bad. My arms feel sore. In short my bodeh is throbbing!!! I just hope I can keep up with this pain. More trainings. Day 3 on Wednesday. FIGHT.

Hmm, I can't really give the perfect definition behind my blog name. All I know is that I wanted a name that would make it unique. Fun but not shallow, Deep but not cheesy or cliche. something in that effect.

Then I've thought of random things. Since, I mostly rant and talk about random things, why not tell stories about random things and beyond that? I have been trying to create a blog since I was in high school but most of the time, my blog ends up being a black of hole of feelings. Full of emotions and sentiments. In short, all "kaartehan". Or if not that, it would be about love and how I feel for this person. lol. Soo High school and immature.

And so I said, I'm going to write about my wonders and travels. This time I want it to be different. I want my blog to be informative, funny but still classy. I want it to be a site, where people would go if let's say they can't find a perfect itinerary for a specific getaway or they need to get some information that they can't find on other blogs. But I know, that's going to be quite a dream for now, cos I only have ghost readers. And I don't want to advertise my blog cos I want it to be discovered through searches. lol.

Why, yes I know, I cant be a ce-WEB-rity. I just want to share my twisted wonders about the world. Share my experiences and for the first time, share fun stories and not just write about myself being emo. lol.

I believe I have improved. I have matured, I guess. The man behind the innarnet life is awesomecakes! Thank you for creating such portal for the spawn of twistedness. *;)

Hooray! I was able to enroll myself in a boxing class today. I also started my training earlier. Oh goodness gracious, It was just an hour training but it felt like forever. But again, NO PAIN, NO GAIN right?

I waited for my trainer and we started at 11am. The usual warm up. It reminded me of the days when I was still doing yoga, so I was confident that it's going to be easy. Then after 10 jumping jacks, he asked me to run around the gym. four rounds. So I was like, "Sus. 4 lang pala" but on my second round.. I almost died. It really made me feel like I was about to have an asthma attack. Gosh. How unhealthy can I get?

After the 4 round-jog, we started with the punches. three minutes each and again, it feels like I was already doing it for an hour. After the punches, we moved to speedball which I find very challenging. Damn it. That's my new goal to perfect the timing!! LOL. Before the training ended, we had to the sit ups, I think there are three kinds of sit ups then the push ups. Imagine my face while doing all of that!

The last part of the training was my favorite, the medicine ball. The trainer will use it to massage your body after the pain and tiresome activity. I had fun on my first day and will go back tomorrow. I hope my body does not throb the whole day and I really hope that all the pain will be worth it. lol

#Day 13 - Your favorite musician and why?

No other than the APO Hiking Society. I actually don't have a specific favorite musician cos the music that I listen to mostly depends on my mood. But the APO songs just matches my different mood swings all the time. lol.

I grew up in APO songs and I will surely pass it on to my kids, my grandkids and my great grandkids. *:D

Not too late for plans, I guess?

I just finished watching Eat,Pray, Love and it made me really hungry. lol. It was a good movie. It actually made me want to do more about my stagnant life. Oh how I wish I can just be like her, you know, leave everything behind and travel the world. Well technically, I just really want to travel the world. Who wouldn't want that? I guess it's every man's dream.

It's the first day of February and again, I shall say, Damn it. time really flies. It's already February and I have not created my New Year's resolution yet. I don't even know if I want to call it that cos most of the time I don't get to accomplish it. But to if you want to check my previous resolutions, feel free to check it out. Okay, so I only made five cos I said, it would be easier for me to accomplish. But I don't know what the heck happened and I was only able to accomplish 2. That's the travelling part and finding a new job. Goodness Gracious what the hell is wrong with me?!

So now I'm here, trying to make up for the unfulfilled 2010 resolutions. But this time, I have to make sure I'm able to complete or I'd rather kill myself. #talk about exaggerating.

I think this is kind of difficult to fulfill, but that's the challenge. Step by step, one by one, with full commitment. Oh lawd, almighty, HELP ME! So here's what I got so far:

Take Photography lessons.
Pay off my credit cards [this has been a long time dream *_*]
Enroll myself in a boxing class.
Travel. [this will forever be a part of all my new year's resolution]
Go back to school.
Learn How to Drive.
~~Learn How to cook at least 1 filipino dish.~~

Number 7 is to be accomplished as soon as possible, so it's necessary for me to learn. The rest, I know it will be really costly. So for my dear friends, I would really appreciate yer kind donations. I really need to learn how to save up. I used to know how, until God allowed me to have a credit card, oh, make that credit cards. My dear magic cards. *O_O

It's going to be quite a list, so better get started. I shall enroll myself to the boxing class by next weekend and prepare for my upcoming trip to Sagada. I shall start rendering over times for some extra cash. Woah, I feel so energized right now.

Let's just hope this drive & excitement do not wear off. Please guys, pray for me. *:D
