But in the good way! Quite a few costume mods have surfaced as a result. And this is one of the coolest.

Zangief actually looks like a bad ass! His official alternate Mayor Haggar costume is cool. But this is so much cooler. It's a bit of a shame that despite Capcom's insistance that players pay for the new outfits, that many of these mods are much better than the official outfits themselves. It's always the way! Other cool costume mod's include Ninja Vega, The incredible Hulk Zangief and Gothic Chun-Li. Although Chun-Li's steroid pumped Street Fighter IV man body kills all the sexiness that this get-up should have in spades.

Shits are the SHIT on this thing." border="0" />
Over the past few years Japan's toilets have become something of a weird phenomenon, and have been the subject of silly jokes (watch the episode where The Simpsons go to Japan) and this is because Japan has what I call super toilets. These things are WICKED! They heat your arse, play ambient flushing noises to mask to plop-plop's, sprinkle water into your booty hole to ensure that it's not just clean...but Japanese standard clean. The toilet does everything you need it to but shake your penis after you piss, help you push whilst you shit and then wipe your arse after you shit. Give it 2 more years and Panasonic will have a toilet that can do those too. Though I wouldn't trust a robot arm near my arse or my willy it truth be told.

The toilet in the picture above is in the Lumine est building in Shinjuku on the 8th floor. They always played OneRepublic in this toilet, which made the experience even better. Ain't nothing like taking a dump on a toilet with a warm arse and some "Apologize" to set the mood. And in Japan no less.

Booooooooo!!!" />
A part of me dies every time Nintendo pimp Mario for these types of games. Though I feel nothing for Sonic. Games like these can only boost his appeal and popularity. Because his Sega developed platform adventures sure ain't doing shit for him.

I wouldn't mind these games so much if they had more love and care put into them. But they're always crap. I hated the first game. The whole thing was boring and felt like a waste of time. Silly things about it annoyed me. Like how the characters clothes did not change according to the event they were in. How ragged the graphics looked. The lack of online play. The whack soundtrack. I guess there's honestly no reason for developers to bother putting major effort into games like these when they can do it half-arsed and still have it sell a shit load of copies and rake a profit.

It goes without saying that this game will go in at the #1 spot on gaming charts, and linger there like a bad smell. But I think the still screenshot of the video is warning enough. This video is so wrong. But what's even more wrong is how I think the dude has nice legs and that some of his dance moves are pretty hot. He was working the bounce-bow-legged-shuffles around the 1:25 mark. He should choreograph music videos for Ciara with moves like those.

I do hope this video has brightened your day. Ain't nothing to make you forget your cares, smile (and feel a little queasy) like watching a grown man dance around in pigtails (that's his real hair), a maid outfit (he bought it) and a set of legs that really aren't that bad. He clearly takes his secondary vocation extremely seriously.

It's a beat 'em up. With a bunch of character enforcing stereotypes, who want to kick, punch and lob fireballs to the death. IV is really just more of what you love, glossed up in a HD package. But it's how Capcom glossed up the package that makes this game special.

Street Fighter IV is as close to Super Street Fighter II Turbo as the action gets without completely stripping away new attack methods and technicalities. We've got no multiple ISM's, air recoveries and alpha counters of Street Fighter Alpha 3. No super art selects and parries of Street Fighter III. Instead we have a whole lot condensed into the new focus attack system. The focus attack can be as simple or as complex as you want it to be. Newbie's will use it to simply crash an opponents guard and land a cheap hit just as they've swept an opponent. The more advanced players will use it to cancel attacks, counter and get some parry action in there. It's a great new system that can quickly turn the tide of a fight. It's not something that's insisted upon players, but is there to be exploited if a player chooses to. In lieu of the stream lining characters also have only 1 super attacks and one ultra attack, which changes how the character play more than you think. Especially if you relied on one of the characters super's which has been taken away. Ryu fans can kiss goodbye to his super hurricane kick and Chun-Li players can wave goodbye to her Kikou-shou.

The characters are a nice bunch. But the newbies aren't that memorable, and to be honest: a bit crap. The only 2 out of the 4 new faces who look like they'll be mainstays in future games and spin-off's are Crimson viper and Abel. Rufus and El Fuerte could be axed from the next Street Fighter game, and I doubt anybody would care. It's a shame that no Street Fighter III characters were included, seeing as we got a generous comeback from II and the Alpha series. Seth is as close to Urien and Gill as we're going to get for now. And Alex fans will have to settle for Abel. But it would've been nice to have seen a couple of III faces return. I'm sure some gamers wouldn't have minded the likes of Ibuki in the place of either Gen or Rose.

The audio in the game is solid. The sound effects are impactful and what you'd expect from a Capcom beat 'em up. Every punch, kick, scream and "Haaaaay-yah!!!" sounds great in a surround sound and Dolby setup. The soundtrack rocks and Hideyuki Fukasawa did the damn thing with it. Whilst much of the new compositions aren't all that memorable, they are well composed. And the character select music is the most catchy to feature in a Street Fighter game since Street Fighter Alpha 1 and 2's. Old school fans will be pleased to know that the classic Street Fighter II themes have all been brilliantly arranged. Fans of Fei-Long and Balrog's themes will be disappointed though, as they are strangely absent from the game. But all of the other returning characters have their theme's lovingly re-created and the newcomers get some great new themes to their names too.

Street Fighter IV's graphics are a thing of beauty. Regardless of your TV set-up, you're in for a treat. Street Fighter IV looks hot on a standard definition set. You won't be able to read any of the text as it's so tiny and blurry (Lost Planet anyone?) But the game looks sharp and smooth. On a HD setup, the game looks insane. Text is readable, and edges are sharp and crisp. You do not appreciate how amazing the game looks until you play the game on a HDTV bang in front of you. It's a stunning looking game. GameTrailer, YouTube videos and the like do not do the game justice.

Characters are stunningly modelled, featuring a great deal of detail. Only when you play the game on a TV in front of you do you realize just how detailed the character models are. Every muscle, every bit of clothing is lovingly rendered. The backgrounds don't share the same flair as the characters though, which is disappointing. The backgrounds look basic, lifeless, boring and border on shitty. Basic in geometry and look like they were rendered using PS2 hardware. Tekken 5 and Soul Calibur III had more detailed stages. Characters look blocky, textures look simple, and the designs are un-inspired. The only stage in the game which looks like it's rocking some graphical flair is the 'Old temple' stage.

Whilst Street Fighter IV features a decent number of modes, it's still lacking. An Alpha 3 style World tour or Virtua Fighter 5 style Quest mode would've been greatly welcomed to add some new twists to the game play. Dramatic battle also would've been nice. The online mode is too basic to be of any serious fun. It's great being able to play online. But the setup is so bare bones that you're unlikely to sit playing it online for any long periods of time. The lobby system is of the bullshit Capcom standard; in that you have to keep bashing away at sessions before you can actually get into one. It's like a luck of the draw. Matches do run smoothly online. You do get the odd match which is plagued with lag, but it's rare. Long term fans of the series will be glad to have the opportunity to play the game online full stop, which is probably why Capcom didn't bother going all out with the features. But it still stands that Street Fighter IV's online could do with more features. It certainly pales in comparison to the online play in Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD remix.

Street Fighter IV is a solid game. Because of the lack of modes, the appeal wears off ever so slightly once you've unlocked all of the characters. But it is a great game that every beat 'em up fan should own. What was looking like a possible recipe for fail, materialized into a Capcom masterpiece. One of the better, if not the best Street Fighter games in the franchise which could be made even better by Capcom throwing in an extra character, a couple of new stages and some new online modes as DLC. Even though they'd probably charge for it all as they did for the outfits. Bastards.

The good
+ Stunning presentation
+ Great audio
+ Addictive game play

The bad
- Not enough stages
- No Street Fighter III characters
- Not much in the way of online options
- You have to pay for new character costumes

It features some additional battle footage and scenes that haven't been shown in any other trailer to date. It's all about the end...

I'm not 100% sure about how the plot goes. I initially thought you had Cocoon: the advanced city in the sky and Pulse: the primitive land below which acts as an exile for those cast from Coccoon. The Fal'Cie live on Cocoon and mark chosen ones, who become I'Cie: which is where Lightning, Snow and Vanille come in as they are chosen ones. But it seems like Pulse has it's own Fal'Cie and I'Cie. And....*Psschh!* I dunno. If this is how the plot goes, then the game will be all about resistance aganist the bigger force. As despite being an I'Cie, Lightning seems to to have infiltrated the train migrating people to Pulse (one of which is Vanille) in order to save them.

It's all confusing to me. Suits me fine. I don't really want to have too much of a handle on the plot before I get the chance to play the game myself. Just as long as Square don't unnecessarily convolute the plot without really explaining it and deliberately leave gaping plot holes. And then drop a spin off on DS like Final Fantasy XIII: Fate of the I'Cie or some bullshit like that.

Lightning is a pimp. I love how she ain't afraid to punch a n***a in the face, and lay some smack down. I also love how she seems to have some depth and vulnerability to her, and isn't this cold hearted chick who just beats people up and shoots them in the face. It's almost as though Square Enix are giving her the clout and balls they failed to give the main men in Final Fantasy games since Squall.

The end of the trailer was intriguing. Already it's looking like these characters have history's and that their being in a party together isn't some chance meeting like: Like...

Snow: "Hey! what you doin?"
Lightning: "Kicking some booty, dabbling with magic and saving the world in a mission that could cost us our lives."
Snow: "Oh can I come!"
Lightning: "Fa sho'!"
[Snow has now joined your party]

Square Enix best come correct with this game.

As cool as I think the English dub is, the Japanese one sounds awesome. Especially when character get riled up an angry. Japanese spoken loudly and aggressively is just cool to me. Square Enix should try and slip the Japanese dub into the US, UK and Australian release of the PS3 version if they can. The Xbox 360 version is just a no-no. Square Enix cannot afford to have the game go on an additional 17 discs to accommodate the Japanese voice tracks along with the English one too.

Where every sign is over-sized, detailed and full of awesome!" border="0" />
During our day out we ended up in the district of Dōtonbori. As with our trip to Nipponbashi, we had no idea how the hell we got there - but we didn't care, because we ended up somewhere good.

Dōtonbori has a great deal of things to distract you. There's a shopping precinct nearby with some cool kitch style clothing stores. A Sega world arcade that looked really, really old and out dated, but featured lots of the latest arcade games and also the biggest Tekken 6 set-up I'd seen in my life. Lots of seafood and Chinese restaurants. And large groups of school kids wandering around in an assortment of uniforms that anime lovers would draw comparison to with characters their fave shows. Dōtonbori is a popular hang out spot for the young, hip and trendy, especially the popular bridge which arches over the small river; where there's always something going on: day or night. So of course me and my mate walked over it real slow. Just to make our presences felt and let the locals know how we do in the LDN.

Dōtonbori is also the home of the world famous Glico man! Who get his smile on during the day and then gets his shine on when night falls.

What made Dōtonbori was memorable for me were the signs. Every store and building had a really large noticeable sign or advertisement on it. As you're walking you just can't keep but look up above you. It makes everything all the more enticing and is what has you wanting to walk in and out of every building you see with a big sign. And as you could imagine, at night when the lights go on, everything looks even more spectacular. Especially Mr. Glico.

Dōtonbori is just random. But a good random. It's the deep end for Gaijin, as Dōtonbori is located in the heart of quite a few busy area's. So you get a high concentrated mix of people. So expect to be looked up and down from every type of Japanese person in one day. From school girls, to school kids, the elderly, the gals, the spikey haired dues who think they're the coolest thing since rice balls on toast, the OL's, the salary men, the folk in shops. You name it, you'll get looked up and down and whispered about by it. It's not as bad as it sounds though. There's so much going on in Dōtonbori that it is relatively easy to just blend in. And chances are once a person passes a bright light, something being shouted out of a PA system or big shop sign, or another freak walks past, that their attention will soon be diverted.

Dōtonbori is a small place, but worth seeing. It's like a shit loads of cool uniquely Japanese stuff shoved into one street and high fived in your face.

The prelude: The gaijin and the chugokujin's day out (part 1)
The interlude: The gaijin and the chugokujin's run in with porn

(It may have even been 4!) I always liked it because it was just different. I never really had an idea in my mind of how I wanted this to sound, it kind of just happened - and I liked what I ended up with. I figured that if all these years on I still like what I did, that I should just keep it the same and not overhaul it. Certain little tweaks have been made here and there since I first did this. But fundamentally it's the same. It's pretty bassy though, so adjust you speakers accordingly...

Listen: Chun-Li's theme: The spinning bird

New arrangements & production by Random J
© Capcom

Chun-Li's themes are always so twinkly and happy. But Chun-Li slaps and kicks people in the face for a living, and is a moody bitch. So I figured I'd give her a sound to match. Something she can be mood and brood too, and then 2-step and pussy-pop to if she wants to.

Don't it make you wanna just touch it. Even though the second you do it's going to be smothered in clearly visible finger prints and matt the shine.

The black finish looks slickitty-slick. The white Wii is nice. But a black Wii would look so much slicker next to a HDTV. Especially if its black. If I had the choice from launch, I'd still had gone for the white though. I just like to have my consoles in their original default colours. It's this wierd mindset of mine why I went an opted for a purple GameCube instead of a black one when I bought it.

I can't believe it took so long for the black Wii to surface. Especially when Nintendo had the system shown in black in near enough all of their promotional images of the console when it masquerading as the Nintendo Revolution.

Japan will be getting the black Wii in August. No word on a US and UK release, but it's highly likely. I'm not expecting Namco to throw it back to the Tekken 3 so full of awesome soundtrack. But at the very least it's sounding like this soundtrack won't suck a big one.

I like how the attacks look like they hit HARD. Some of those grapples and blows to the face were looking seriously. Especially with the camera going all dynamic and the action being slowed down.

I'm still hating the whole floor crack impact shit though. Have the impacts STAY in the floor! Don't have them disappear the second a new one's formed. It just looks silly. Plus, the floor cracks every time a character hits it. Some attacks have the character float in the air for so long and land so soft, yet solid concrete floors still be cracking. Can't nobody tell me that a chick like Xiayou would crack a concrete floor. This ain't Dragon ball Z. There should be an option to turn it off. Little things like this really do get to me and annoy me. I'm picky and fussy as shit like that.

Tekken 6 is looking good. I really am looking forward to playing it properly. I forgot I had it. I bought this on the premise that one of my mates and I would tear this game up together in co-op, and that it'd give me the co-op survival horror experience that Resident evil 5 didn't really give. Yet in the 2 months I've had this game, my mate and I have only ever played it together once. All the while I keep playing the hell out of Resident evil 5's Mercenaries mode. I do wonder from time to time why I bothered buying the game in the first place.

I'm making it a mission to play Left 4 dead more. I should at least finish all of the campaigns. I've only completed one of them, and haven't touched the other modes in the game.

So tonight, I'll be all over this game like a fly on Boomer shit for at least a solid hour. Hopefully I'll end up in games with some chatty people. I do like a good old natter over Xbox live with gamers who aren't little kids and are fun to talk to. The only thing is however, is that in HD the edges are so sharp that it highlights some of the jaggies and some of the Wii's other graphical shortcomings. But Super Mario Galaxy is still a stunning looking game with component cables on a HD, and scart on a standard definition TV.

I was impartial to the whole 'Wii should've been HD' argument when the Wii was first revealed, because I wasn't up on HD to the point I could form an argument either way. But now I am, I'm thinking it wouldn't have hurt for Nintendo to have made the Wii fully HD compatible. HDTV sales have sky rocketed and penetrated many homes since Nintendo went and said not many homes would have 'em. That's Nintendo for you. Not always thinking about the future, but just the present within their own little bubble.

We can always hope that Nintendo will be able to do some trickery to Super Mario Galaxy 2, so it looks as sharp as possible.

Black is whack. Brown makes me frown.

I swear she's racist. This Indian woman at a Superdrug near my work place. She's polite and as cute as button when she's serving white people. But as soon as it's time for her to serve anybody who is darker than a shade of peach, she goes on STANK. She's snatching shit, throwing money, slamming money down, no please's or thank you's, no eye contact. She's a BITCH! Even when she's serving fellow Indians, she goes on stink. And her mouth quivers as she serves too. One day she's going to scream n***a or p**i and savage somebody. She looked like she was at bursting point earlier today.

At first I thought I was being paranoid. But then I started watching how she serves different people, and it's noticeable and so un-subtle that I know I'm not going crazy. I even told colleagues at work to watch her, and they agree. She only has manners, time and tolerance for white people.

I bet if she has kids that she's arranging marriages between them with the whitest people on her street. God forbid if her daughter ever brought home a black man. She'd probably spit in his face, shout "N***a-n***a-n***a!!!" kill him and then kill herself.

I did start being over polite to her: to see if I could break her and have her be more polite to those of us who aren't porcelain. But it didn't work. It didn't even dent her. All it did was have her crank up the stanknicity meter. So now I just don't bother.

Such a lovely lady. This shit makes me more sadder than watching Mariah Carey butcher a Jackson 5 classic at Michael Jackson's memorial.

I would say I can't believe Konami have plummeted to these depths with this bullshit for Wii. But every developer has. Because these seem to be the only type of gmes that sell on Wii. I'm not sure why someone would spend money on a Wii, a balance board and a compatible game to 'walk it out' - when it'd be much cheaper, easier and healthier to just go walk outside.

Konami also missed an opportunity to throw Unk's "Walk it out" into this commercial, and have a 40 year old white woman snap fangaz and 2 step in her living room in front of her kids. Rain after the sunshine.

I can't keep up.

After a week of sunshine and soaring temperatures, London has experienced serious down pours of rain, thunder and lightning. I was looking out of the window and it was almost torrential. Like some kakkoii boy from Final Fantasy XIII mist quickened the hell out of the sky.

An hour later, you can literally see the grey cloud drifting off into the distance, as the sky began to clear and the sun began to shine.

I guess the grey clouds were just nipping off for a break, because they're back for another round of rain, thunder and lightning.

I spent the WHOLE evening last week cleaning my car. I'm talking full valet, jet wash down, super foam scrub down, T-cut and polish. So I can look forward to seeing what was a lovely shiny car, looking a streaked out mess later this evening. Thank you rain!

The term "changes like the weather" needs no explanation. Those Street Fighter IV arcade sticks that some of you suckers bought should work with this game. But just to be extra and exclusive, you'll probably shell out for this one too won't you?

Yup. Thought so!

I posted a picture of the Xbox 360 version purely because I own an box 360. The PS3 will of course receive the special collectors edition bundle of Tekken 6. The only difference being that the base is black and not white, and the buttons being labelled Square, Triangle, blah, blah, blah - you know the deal.

I'm actually looking forward to Tekken 6. I'm not on the edge of my seat for it, but will definitely pick it up when it releases later this year. I'm no out of practise with the game though. I wish I could be asked to set up my PS2, because I actually do feel like giving Tekken 5 a whirl.

I have no idea how much this special edition is going to set gamers back. But it's probably going to be pretty expensive. Given the joystick is made by gaming peripheral vets Hori and that it's also wireless.

Square Enix's latest chronic milking of the series is tentatively titled Four warriors of light: Final Fantasy Gaiden.

If Square didn't roll out so many FF games that looked the same, I'd care more. I'm sure at least one of these non-main-entries-into-the-series FF games are really good and worth the time. But when you click on gaming websites and see a Famitsu scan of a new game every other month, you feel like losing the will to even bother.

It took 2 years, a batch of trailers, finally acquiring a new console and finding out more about the story to finally get excited about Final Fantasy XIII. A lot of meetings between character that occurred in the main games have been altered for the conveniences sake of Umbrella and Darkside chronicles. I mean, Carlos and Jill were barely together in Resident evil 3: Nemesis, yet they got partnered the whole time in the chapters for Umbrella chronicles.

I look forward to Capcom showing us insights into new aspects of the storyline. And as Umbrella chronicles featured an all new final chapter which took you through how exactly Chris and Jill took down Umbrella and how Wesker got away. It'd be great if we got a final Leon and Claire chapter based on the events of Degeneration. Capcom would be stupid bitches to pass on a chance to let players experience a zombie outbreak in an airport. I also hope Capcom push the relationships. Capcom need to really make it 100% clear that there is NOTHING between Claire and Leon. And show there is something between Leon and Ada, and clearly show Claire and Steve developing feeling for one another. Because these weren't things that were always clear in Resident evil 2, Code: Veronica and 4 where Leon and Ada were concerned.

As for who that chick is in the water tank, I'm not even going to guess. Especially after the whole "That chick in the tank is Sherry Birkin!!" shit with Resident evil 5's trailer. I'd imagine the girl is Alexia Ashford. But knowing what Capcom did with 'the girl in the glass tank' for Resident evil 5 after the Internets swore blind it could only be Sherry because of the hair colour - it could end up being Chris Redfield with a dye job and blue contacts.

I don't think I'll buy this game, but will probably ask for it as a Christmas present like I did Umbrella chronicles. Providing an Xbox 360 or DS game doesn't come along that I want more. The game is looking really good though. Everything looks much more dynamic than the last game. And whilst the graphics haven't been improved that much, Capcom are working the lighting to greater effect.

Despite a lot of the game play footage showing an additional player on-screen, this is only for the single player mode to help create a sense that you aren't entirely alone. When in co-op, no character is shown on screen. A real shame, because I was beginning to think we'd get a Time crisis 2 set-up. Where-by the game could be played online, and an option could ne enforced enabling players take slightly different routes through stages, giving them different vantage points. Sounds good doesn't it? Too bad Capcom didn't holler at me or have Time crisis in mind when they developed this game.

This game has the potential to do well sales wise. Fans of Resident evil 2 and Claire Redfield lovers will probably pick this up just to jump back into re-imagined Resident evil 2 and Code: Veronica scenario's. Knowing deep down Capcom won't ever REmake the games.

Because I really do think this cosplay is the best Sailor moon cosplay ever. And no, I'm not being sarcastic. This dude broke the mould. He's a guy, he's black and he's of a large build. Yet he cosplayed as a skinny Japanese girl who looks white and has long blonde hair. You gotta love it. This is what cosplaying's all about. F**k it!

Dude...who ever you are. I salute you. Because you my friend, are a true soldier. I also think you look a little bit like Lil' Kim in this get up too. Only a much sexier version.
