Bee Gees' Singer Robin Gibb has passed away, according to the BBC News & Entertainment site. As I'm sure cancer is a personal matter with so many people - this still really sucks. I can't say I was ever a Bee Gees fan, but It amazes me that he helped formed the Bee Gees in 1958 and they always stayed true to their sound; I didn't realize they had been around that long - amazing.

One thing I love about Google+ that sets it apart from other ~~social networks~~ identity services since day one, is the ability to post animated gifs within your stream. Why is is this important? It's mainly for entertainment, however, but there is nothing more frustrating than when you are trying to share a Gif of a giant cat paw crushing a news reporter. I'm not crazy about cats, but a current trend on Google+ is #Caturday.

I'll admit, some of these games have a silly "Itchy and Scratchy Show" sick cartoon sense of humor to them, but some are plain ridiculous. A few days ago when I was looking for some flash-based games online, I stumbled on one called "Gun Blood" - a western cartoon shooter. Talk about bloody: this game is downright disgusting (in a cartoon way). After playing a few bloody rounds, I checked to see what site is hosting this game by going to the parent domain name.

Remember when I stated yesterday that I would record a Google+ Hangout On Air via smartphone? Today, I've changed my mind and decided to use low-quality webcam which, on the bright side, would enable me to use my studio condenser microphone for more clarity than a smartphone could offer. I still plan on broadcasting live from a smartphone sometime within the next two weeks. Until then, here's what I have going:

Tomorrow, a new review device will be delivered to my house for me to test over the next couple of weeks. Originally, I planned on hosting the Google Hangout on Air this evening. I figure, it would not hurt to wait one more day, now that I will be testing the LG Lucid - a dual-core Verizon 4G LTE Android device with full HD capture. HD Capture would equate to a better quality than my webcam.

I don't think there can be many celebrity interviews as awkward as this. In this clip, you will witness David Letterman just ripping Paris Hilton apart on his late night talk show. Normally, guests are invited on a show to promote a product or a movie, etc. I'm sure that many are not fond of Paris Hilton but, in this video clip, Dave's behavior is at it's strangest.

About to Conduct Our First "Hangouts On AIR" This Week

RandomRandy.com is ready to give Google+ Hangouts On Air a shot. I will be conducting a quick "test hangout" within the next couple of days to see how the audio quality holds up. Spending all of those years in school writing everything by hand, it just seems more natural and I can't escape it. More Evidence Google+ is Growing

Often I'll find some clever trends on Google+, Twitter, but not so much Facebook (sorry, Facebook, Twitter sort of ~~brought~~ gave life to this whole trending idea). I prefer to use Google+ over Twitter, however, because it runs smoother for me, and is always available when I type in the URL.

Back to the popularity thing, Jessica Simpson is now trending on Google+. Nicki Minaj appeared on the "Trending Thingamajig" on G+'s main page briefly and then thankully vanished. I really think that these trends are strong indicators that the G+ is growing exponentially; This is just my opinion and I'm making a guess.

If you're a daily surfer of the internet, especially one that reads tech news, there is a good chance that you've heard about Google Drive being in the process of launching. There is one problem though - there is no Google Drive for Linux - yet. Honestly, though, I do not see this going on for long. Many cloud storage services already have Linux support such as Dropbox, and SpiderOak, so Google probably has no choice but to get going on this (my guess).
