Charlotte Run/Walk for Peace 5k Event Happening Soon

Benefiting and helping the local community is something we should all take part in, and soon you’re going to have a chance to do just that. Here in the Charlotte area we know the value of helping to grow our communities with charity and volunteer work, and that’s why we love helping spread the word about great events here in the area.The Charlotte Run for Peace at Home hosted by McAlpine Creek Greenway will be held on May 26th from 8 a.m. to 9:20 a.m.

Meant to raise money and awareness of domestic violence, the 5K Run Walk for men, women, and children benefits the United Family Services Domestic Violence Program. Fees for adults range from $20 to $30 per person depending on the day one registers. Children run for free. Tee shirts and trophies are donated by generous sponsors.
