Seems we like Bordeaux-style wines very much - we had to open a 6th bottle before the night was over to keep the juices flowing...

Carmenère wine was thought to be extinct for years after phloxerra destroyed the grapes throughout Europe. It was recently found in Chile where their geographic isolation allowed it to flourish... Here are the results from this past week's wine club featuring Chilean. It was a very excellent night for wine tasting... not a bad one in the bunch!
