Luichiny: Zesty Red Wedge Shoe Review

I have always loved shoes.. But lately, I've just found a passion for them - I feel like I really just can't have enough! There are so many different styles, and color options available, that it's hard to turn them down!

So recently I had to opportunity to work with an amazing footwear company, called Luichiny.
Luichiny offers gorgeous heels, wedges, booties and sandals, which are available for really reasonable prices (especially if you take into consideration the amazing quality.)

I was actually being sent a "surprise" pair of shoes for review. Waiting for the pair to arrive was excruciating. I HAD to know what shoe was on it's way.. Because I am very impatient.
So the day my package arrived, I scurried to my room, and got them out within less than a minute.
To my surprise, there was this very bright pair of red wedges.

I haven't owned a pair of wedges since I was about 17, so now, a few years later, I'm giving em another go! It's not that I don't like the look of wedges (Trust me, there are some wedges I would absolutely love to have!) it's just more that I always found them a little more difficult to walk in - Maybe it's just my mind playing tricks on me or maybe when I was 17 I was just a little less experienced in walking in any type of lifted shoe, because I did quite well, walking with my Zesty wedge :)

I just loved the bright red color - They're bold, but could easily be paired with an elegant evening dress, or a simple t-shirt and some jeans.

These shoes have 2 aspects that I really love.
The first being the beautiful gold tones. The insoles are super shiny, gold, and the gorgeous buckle - It really gives the shoes that extra little "pop"

And then, on the bottom, there are big red hearts. I know most people probably wouldn't see the hearts, but I still think it's really cute, and it just gives you that extra little reminder that a lot of love was put into the making of the shoe :)

Luichiny offers some really cute shoes, and I already have a few picked out that I am dying to get a hold of!

Like this awesome "More Of It" skyscraper platform (I just LOVE the color!)

Overall, I absolutely LOVED my shoes - And I will definitely consider purchasing from them in the future (or hint to my mom for Christmas :p.)

AR-15 Gun Shirt Review

One thing you may not know about me, is that I really like to shoot guns. I'm hoping you all know I would never hurt anything - I just like to go to the range occasionally. I guess because before grandpa passed away, he took me and my cousin Jeramiah to the gun range to shoot some of his really old guns.
I didn't think it would be something I would enjoy, but that moment with grandpa was just one I will never forget. I had so much fun, and my grandpa was so happy to see me do something out of my comfort zone.

While I have never used an AR-15 gun, I still absolutely love the shirt. It feels empowering to wear, and it just shows people.. Hey, I like shooting!

The shirt looks really nice, and the next time I go to the range, I am definitely going to wear it :)

The shirt is really comfortable, and is completely itch free. It's also pretty thick, so I see it lasting for quite some time. I've put it through the wash 2 times now, and haven't seen any fading or peeling on the logo.

Overall, I think they offer some great gun shirts, I really like my shirt, and I am happy I was given the chance to do a review :)

Sakkas Store Zippered Skirt Review

One thing I love, is clothes. All kinds - Shirts, skirts, pants.. All of it!

So when I had the chance to work on a review with Sakkas Store, I was extremely excited, because they offer tons of different clothes.

I had an extremely hard time picking one piece, but I had finally decided on this really nice Above the Knee Zippered Tiered Sleek Stretch Pencil Skirt.

If your my friend on Facebook, you may have recently noticed my new profile picture, which I am actually wearing the skirt in. For those of you who aren't my friend on Facebook:

Isn't the skirt super cute?! I just love it! I love wearing skirts, and I just love how different this one is with it's front zipper.

The skirt is also of a really high quality. It's really thick for a stretchy material, and I couldn't be happier with it.

Overall, I really loved my skirt from Sakkas Store, and I will definitely consider purchasing from them in the future!

Week 41 of Nutrisystem.. Goal Met!!

This.. is THE WEEK I have been waiting for! I have officially met my goal!!

With just a few weeks remaining, I couldn't be happier! Because now, I will most likely even surpass my goal a little :D!

I did a lot of exercise this week - we've been in the pool daily, and I did a TON of bike riding with Aaron. I have also been making sure I follow my diet exactly, because with a trip to Indiana coming up, I just have to stay at a good weight. I want my family to see me, and be like WOW - you've lost a ton of weight! It's so motivating to hear it, and hopefully hearing them say things like that will keep me encouraged to continue watching what I eat, even while on vacation up there.

This week, I was down exactly 1lb, bringing my total weight loss to.... 50.8lbs!!! :)

Maybe by the end I'll be at -55, or maybe even a little bit more! We'll have to see - We still have some time to go!

Here were my favorite meals this week:
Chicken Tacos:

The chicken tacos are a new frozen menu option - They are really delicious! I like my tacos super crispy, because I like chewy things, as they make the food last longer. So I just put them in for an extra minute than the wrapper had instructed. They were perfect :D

And the Orange Creme Bar:

The creme bar has been a favorite since like my first week of Nutrisystem.. Definitely going to miss it once my journey ends!

Overall, I had an AWESOME week! Made my goal, and still going strong!

EdenFantasys Wide Variety of Products is Always Growing

EdenFantasys has always been one of my favorite shops, and lately with all of their bath and body, make-up (+ other!) additions, I have enjoyed them even more.

I've been trying to try as many as I can, but sometimes it's just so hard to choose, because they're always adding new things.
Like, very recently they've added a new product I really want to try called "Dona Plumping Lip Balm."

What excites me most about this, is that it's a lip balm. I've heard of plumping gloss, but never a lip balm - I don't wear gloss very often, because I'm not the biggest fan of the way it feels on your lips, but I love the plumping glosses can sometimes give, so I occasionally use them. It's nice to see an actual balm with the same plus effects.

The Dona Lip Balm is available in several flavors, and I plan on getting a few of them for myself soon.

Lately, I've also been experimenting with a lot of make-up products. I'm sadly still effected by breakouts, and so I've been experimenting with ways of hiding it well. It's something I never thought I would really get in to, but I have, and that has led me into wanting to try some other facial products, like bronzers and such - So I also plan on getting the Squiggles Bronzer soon.

It's said to be a really big compact, so you really get your monies worth for $22.99 - but we'll have to see - It sure sounds great!

I've always highly recommended EdenFantasys, and I still do! They offer quality products for all sorts of people - So be sure to go check them out :).

One thing I've never really owned is a nice pillow. I've tried a couple "nicer" pillows, but they never conform to the shape I need. I am extremely picky about what I use.

I don't know if any of you are the same, but I actually sleep face down into the pillow. I'm not sure if it's normal or not, but everyone in my household seems to think it's weird.

I took out a little bit of the wool, but I actually liked it just about the way it came.

Now - On to my favorite feature of the pillow. Not only is this pillow "green," but it also has several benefits! Before doing this review, I had no idea how beneficial wool was!

The Boy Baby Rats.. All Grown Up! (Pictures of the "babies")

Several of you have been expressing how much you would love to see me "put the rats back in Rats and More" SO.. I am! :)!

I've been wanting to for a while now, but was a little skeptical. So thank you all for the encouragement - I am thrilled to be sharing my rats again! Maybe I'll do it every week (Just share a few pictures.)

I wanted to start with the "babies" though.
You may remember back in October, I had a litter of babies, and I had documented about their first month of life.
Here they were on their first day:

And as you can see they have definitely grown up :D

Because I can't put my males and females together to take pictures (can't have any more babies, haha!) I decided to only do the males right now. If I decide to do this next week, I'll show the girls :)
The girls are quite smaller than the boys, but they've definitely grown up too.

As you can see, I used to be able to fit 12 babies in my hands.. now I can barley fit 3 on my chest lol:

And I love this.. The nakie has gotten so big. Here is was in his 5th week of life:

And here he is, about an hour ago:

A lot bigger huh?!

I hope you all enjoyed seeing them again, and we'll see about next week with the girls. I guess it just depends on if everyone enjoys there ones :)

RIP Dan

It's hard to believe.. But another one of my ratties passed away tonight.

His name was Dan - He was an extremely healthy rat, and he was only 2 years old. It came out of nowhere, and was a complete shock to me.

He had shown no signs of being sick, or I would have taken him to the vet. I went out there to play with them all tonight, and he was just lying there, gone..

This is the only bad part about owning rats.. They just don't live long enough lives.

I love you so much Dan, and we will miss you.

RIP DAN.

RIP Rattie Stan

Another rattie passed away tonight :(

His name was Stan - He was one of my shyest rats, and he didn't like to be held, so unfortunately I don't have any pictures of him.

He had 2 brothers (I used to call them all the 3 Stooges) who passed away more than a year ago, so he lived a really long life. I am thankful for the time I had with him, and I know he will be up there playing with his brothers now!

Week 40 of Nutrisystem (I am a Nutrisystem Nation Blogger!)

Well.. I know I know.. The big question. Did I make my goal this week? I'm extremely saddened to say I did not :( - Believe it or not, I was down 1.2lbs. Figures.

If you didn't see last weeks post, I was only 1.4lbs away from meeting my goal. So like I said, it figures that this week I would be only .2lbs away from it. That's okay though, because I KNOW next week will be my week!

I am still going strong with my Pinterest exercise regiment, and we were even able to get in the pool one time this week - Which felt amazing, and got me moving a lot more!

I was thinking I wouldn't do as well this week, honestly, because I had a little personal issues, which tend to render my weight loss - But thankfully I did, and like I said - Next week is THE week!

I am at -49.8lbs, and next week, I WILL be at, at least -50!

Ssh-oes Review

If you've ever worn any type of shoe with a heel.. You are probably going to love these innovative shoes.

I love wearing heels, I really do; But one thing that's always bothered me, and has actually embarrassed me, is the loud noise you get every single time you step. I especially hate when your going somewhere nice, and your trying to dress up, and be professional, and you walk into a huge, almost empty room, and your footsteps are literally echoing through the entire building. At that moment, it's safe to say that everyone's eyes are on you. And being one that suffers from depression, I really do not like that. It always makes me feel awkward and embarrassed.

So for a while, I actually stopped wearing heels to quiet places.

Well, now I can wear my Black Suede Madame Pumps from Ssh-oes anywhere, and anytime!

Want to know what's different about these heels, that allows me to wear them anywhere, without the noise?!

It's the awesome noise reducing heel lift, and the sound absorbing rubber outsole.
Don't get me wrong, it still makes some noise, but it's extremely minute, especially compared to the normal noise that heels make.

I think that every pair of heels should have this feature. The regular noise of heels has stopped me from wearing heels recently, even though I love to. So I am so happy to finally have a pair I can wear anywhere!

Not only do these spectacular shoes from Ssh-oes quiet my stepping, but they also look amazing! They are so gorgeous, and I can literally pair them with any outfit.
They are also made with black suede, so they are super soft, and smell awesome :)

And I almost forgot to mention how comfortable they are! Normally, when I wear heels, my feet always get sore after a long period of time, but Ssh-oes also feature a memory foam padded insole, so your feet stay comfortable for longer.

We have actually been wanting to shop for a new ceiling fan for some time, because the fan in my grandma's room was the generic fan that came with our home - That type of fan usually has a short life, and well, it did. The fan in her room hasn't work for probably a good 5 years now.

I didn't receive a ceiling fan to review, but I did receive a small (amazing!) helping solution, and some insight as to where we might actually purchase a new ceiling fan for her.

I've actually been pestering grandma to get a new fan for her room for quite some time now, because, well, it's hot here in Florida! She's been putting it off for the longest time now, but I think I've actually got her to change her mind, finally!

A few days ago, I had received this amazing Minka Aire F300 Pink Retro Desk Fan:

And, since mother's day was coming up, I gave it to grandma. She used it during the night on her end table to help keep her cool, and even though the fan is just a smaller desktop fan, she said it did her wonders. Her exact words were "I haven't slept that good in years!"

This fan, even though smaller, definitely has a punch to it! I couldn't believe how cool it was, and how strong the wind flow was. I had really expected much less - So I was pleasantly surprised!

My absolute favorite aspect was the retro look, and the unique color! I love retro products, and I think it just looks sweet, and it fit perfectly into grandmas room (It looked really pretty with her light blue walls in the background!)

Grandma knows that she can't use a desktop fan for the rest of her life, and now that she's seen the benefits of a cooler room, she is more ready than she's ever been! We actually spent several hours yesterday looking at different fans from Del Mar Designs, and she has several in mind, but is still exploring her options.

We loved Del Mar Designs so much, that we will hopefully be making a personal purchase fairly soon too!
So as you can probably guess, we loved Del Mar Designs, and I would highly recommend them!

Recently, I stumbled on to this amazing site, called theUNIUNI.
theUNIUNI sells an enormous amount of items - from custom made wedding dresses, to gorgeous pumps, and handbags.

I love shopping for new clothes, and accessories, so when I first visited the website, I was completely overwhelmed, because the selection of products is just massive.

This past week, my friend, Joe, went out of town. He left me to watch his 3 adorable dogs, Teoki, Daisy and Lady.

Well Joe was only going for a week, so he should be home today :'(!

Lady and Daisy were both absolutely adorable, and I loved having them, but Teoki.. He was so amazing! He jumped up on my shoulders for hugs, and laid curled up beside me..

Not only was he awesome to have around, but to top it off, he was hairless! You all obviously know how much I love my hairless rats.. But a hairless dog (He's a Mexican Hairless!) I'm going to miss him (and Lady and Daisy!) so much - And I hope Joe goes on vacation again soon, lol!

Skinn Cosmetics: Olive and Enzyme Rich Balm Cleanser Review

I have to admit, I've never been as careful on my skin as I should. Whenever I clean my face, I usually just use the old soap and water. Mostly because, I've found that a lot of cleansers seem to be ineffective, or irritate my skin - Sometimes, even the smell of some products would get to me too much.

So at first, I was a little skeptical to try the Olive and Enzyme Rich Balm Cleanser from Skinn Cosmetics. After my first usage though, I knew this was a product that I am going to enjoy for a long long time.

The first thing you notice about the cleanser is the amazing smell. It smells like a dreamsicle (orange) and smells unlike any facial product I have ever used before. Most of the facial products I've used in the past have had a chemical smell, which usually ends up giving me a headache - So I was very very happy with the scent.

After my first initial use, my face felt refreshed and cleansed, and it smelled great.

You can use this product as a softening mask, by simply leaving the product on your face for 10 minutes, but it doubles as a regular wash, by removing debris and grime as well. I've actually used it both ways now. After using it as a softening mask, I did notice a subtle difference - My face felt, well, rejuvenated. It may have felt a tad bit softer, but for the most part, is just felt renewed (Which is an amazing feeling to have!)

Using it as a make-up remover also worked extremely well. I get really paranoid that I will leave dirt behind, so normally I scrub for about 5 minutes with a wash rag, to be sure I get everything. Well fortunately, I don't have to worry anymore, because the cleanser melts all of that nasty stuff off :)!

The creator, Dimitri James is renowned. He has graced runways, the red carpet, and even 2 published books, entitled: "Becoming Beauty" and "Naughty Makeovers for Nice Girls."

Dimitri can bring out the beauty in everyone with his amazing Skinn cosmetics line! You can see Dimitri's appearances on several shows. And actually, you can tune into ShopNBC this May 18th and 19th to catch him!

Overall, I really enjoyed Skinn cosmetics! The Olive and Enzyme Rich Balm Cleanser and I will be using every last drop of it!
