Mixing subs is generally not a good idea. There is usually phase interaction due to different tunings that can't fully compensated for when operating in the same band-pass. If you do it, it's best to keep the same sub models grouped together and separate from the other model. Like having the 15s clustered in the middle and the 18s on the outside of the stage. But that's no guarantee they'll play well together. Experimentation will be in order. If possible, I would sell or trade the 15s out for more of the 18s you already use.

I do a stage at Glastonbury Festival called West Holts, we're pretty much the 3rd stage depending on who you ask. We have been running x amount of kit but I though I'd just punt it out to see what the Rat boys do.

Another system architecture that seems to be making a come back is different 'sub' bandpass sections. In essence having a 'mid-bass' section and a 'low frequency effect' (as they would say in the movies). General bandpass sections may be:
Mid-Bass: 60Hz-100/150Hz
LFE: 30Hz-60/70Hz
These types of configurations were a lot more popular with arch point source rigs but kind of faded out and are now making a come-back especially with small-format line arrays... (which have what my company likes to call 'the missing octave': 150Hz-300Hz). Getting this to work for a large coverage area is kind of a pain, but it is great for small-to-medium coverage areas (I think the largest rig I have done like this was two thousand seats).
Obviously the idea is to increase efficiency in those bandwidths, but the real-world result is usually a very natural and musical sounding LF range. For best results you need to get the mid-bass section in the air with the top boxes (or close enough so the delta can be disregarded).
