What’s this nonsense?! A new page?! After how many years?!

I don’t want to raise hopes or tease you about the possibility of regular updates, but I am slowly trying to get this Back Office chapter done before I put the story on haitus again. Didn’t seem right to just leave it with a captured Karen distraught about Mike’s death as the last page for ages.

Yet again, due to good news I still haven’t had time to get back to regular web cartooning and I’m still trying to get my new manga project actually published as it’s own stand-alone book. That might actually mean that I one day might get to share an English version with everyone (right now it’s only available in Norway, and in Norwegian).

This is also a test page, as you’ll notice I have screentones on this. This is how I usually work with the pages, even back in the day with early Back Office and Bata Neart. I’m trying this out to see if it’s OK quality.

I *will* make more Back Office pages, but undortunatly I can’t promise a time yet. But I am commited to at least finishing this page.I hope it won’t take long.

I know I haven’t been updating a lot, but I hope you can try to make it up a little with a new VDSD. If you are a newcomer to the comic who’s arrived via VDSD, the comic is sort of on hiatus at the moment while I do print projects. There will be new pages in the future, I’m just not sure of the schedule yet.

Whew! Damn! ….sorry about that delay….

So yea, if you you looked at the video in the last page you’ll know that I’m now snowed in in all directions with drawing projects. It’s exciting stuff, but really hard to get time in to make my usual webcomics. If you’ve held on so far, thank you!! Before things kick off again with the new publisher I’m going to at least try to release all of the pages of this chapter and get it finished for summer. I hope you’ll enjoy it, and sorry again for the regular and *ginantic* delays!

An Update?!! Final F**king-ly!!

In the meantime, this long-haired wierdo is saying stuff:

Last year you might remember me mentioning my working on a manga competition here in Norway and actually winning a spot in a publication. Well…that continued and the publisher had encouraged me to submit more material for their manga magazine. The result has been me doing one of the most intense production runs I’ve ever had to handle trying to complete a 20-page manga within one month. The manga itself is something I had been tinkering with for years and have only now gotten around to produce.

It’s called “Last Day: Stand Tall”, and is the story of two kids who go to a summer camp in space, on the day that the world ends. It was originally going to be a one-shot manga, but the publisher had been getting me to consider making it a series, and so that is what I’m planning.

The result of all of this is that I have had no time at all to make my usual comics. My deadline for Last Day is the end of this week, so I should be able to start producing webcomic pages again during February, but alas this also means that we have yet another hiatus after only 2 pages.

I’m very sorry about this, and I hope you can all forgive me for this constant stops and starts.
