Good day to you. I wish you to be my friend. I am from the Philippines. Like you I am also a serious writer. I would like to enlarge my circle of writer friends. I would like also to learn how to write a haiku. Would you please give me some tips?

I like II and V the best because of the surprises. I think Haiku that surprise me are the best--my own personal thing: "a shivering boat"--wonderful; and in V, I didn't expect in the "mask stall" something so blue, real, from nature to be "staring at [my face] a columbine." I notice you deal a lot with the theme of wearing a mask, and that is such a human being issue for everyone. You seem to have such an awareness, whereas some people live their lives behind different masks, and never show (or know) the real self (as much as we can, at least) that lies beneath. I am usually not a "haiku" person, per se, but I enjoyed reading through these. Again, those that are surprising and use the language of surprise are the most stunning. Thank you for posting these.
