The hobby is expansive, and in this video – my target was to show how to use MULTIPLE RC’s to demonstrate how there is little limitation to imagination, mechanical ingenuity, and fun with friends. Utilizing multiple Drift Cars, a Helicopter, and an EFlite MQX Quad copter – this film shows how you can have fun with your friends Anytime of the year! My Friends Crawler Ted, Kam, and Brian help me show off some amazing technology – and provide as much entertainment as we could muster for you guys on camera! Amazing how much work goes into a short 11 minute video like this.. but worth every second if even a few of you get to discover some new and exciting ways to have fun!

Wow, isn’t that a Hideous piece of amazing technology? I am completely amazed at how far engineers have been able to take their designs using modern day robotics. The picture above is of a www.Lynxmotion.com “Phoenix Hexapod”, designed by a Norway resident – Robotic Mechanical Hobbyist – Kåre Halvorsen. This is not the only design by the robotics engineering phenom – and Kåre’s collection of robot design is only growing. Located in Pekin, Illinois – USA, Lynxmotion was founded by current President Jim Frye in 1995. His fascination with robotics led him into a new world of manufacturing and distribution for emerging designs – and global robotic engineering hobbyists. By using current technologies, such as onsite laser cutting, and injection moulding – the Lynxmotion products are well known, and well constructed. Offering technical support for their own products is a large advantage for this company, servicing an online population as well as local hobbyists.

When I had a chance to see one of the Lynxmotion products, I was instantly hooked. It was like the fictitious “Skynet” company from the old “Terminator” movies.. was finally at our doorstep of the RCSparks Studio. The Hexapod designed by Kare Halvorson was my first encounter with a “real” robot type of design.. and I see much potential for the Fun to be had, world wide. Check out this “Creepy Video” I did in the studio with the help of my friend (and Robot owner / Pilot) Ryan Blair.

And now that you have seen THAT video.. I know you are itching to know more about this creepy critter.. So without making you wait – I have already completed the other video.. For your viewing pleasure.

My friends.. Enjoy! JOIN THE FORUM CONVERSATION by CLICKING HERE!!

My Very good friend and former TTC Champion “TRACAR” from Edmonton Alberta did myself and the viewers of RC ADVENTURES a great deed – providing me with UNSEEN footage of the RCSparks TTC from 2011. I have had this footage for the last 8 Months.. waiting for the frigid cold months of winter to grip the Northern part of the world. Now I am able to unleash this madness for you to enjoy.. and though my part of the world is covered in Snow right now.. I can still release this FUN and fantastic video for you to enjoy!

This video is of the HILL Climb that featured Scale 4×4 Off Road vehicles.. and many of my good friends. Crawler Ted, Krazy Joe, Ian Byers, Neil, Scott, and SO MANY other great competitors and friends.. including our videographer TRAVIS from Edmonton Alberta. If It wasnt for him, we would not have this video to enjoy!

Big props.. and I hope you have a great time watching, and maybe even working on your own rigs while you play this video in the background!

Today I unveil my new NISSAN GT-R BODY. What Do you think? Brian, Ted and I start challenging our skills by drifting our first Figure eight. Not as easy as some may seem.. but our skills are starting to progress slowly. Our control is beginning to take shape as we are now able to avoid each other (for the most part) and we are able to get a handle of the sway characteristics of our individual cars.

I have upgraded my servo to a Hitec 7955TH High Speed, High Torque Servo, and added a light kit. Also, I have added 1OZ of lead to the front nose of my HPI Sprint 2 Flux. I have a look at my wheels on camera at the end of the film.. so you can see my wear patterns… This is basically so you guys (who have been following) can see what kind of surface area I have been able to get with my wheel settings.

Brians Blue car.. has NO locked Differentials, while mine has bother Front and Rear Diff, completely seized. Teds.. I think has the Rear locked. a great overview of the type of styles for all to enjoy.

What do you think? I know we are getting better.. and look forward to episode 7 of this series.. !

Information below from the EFlite Manufacturer –
It’s sleek. It’s high-tech. It’s an RC flying experience unlike any other. It’s the exciting Blade® mQX; the world’s first quad-copter equipped with the advanced AS3X™ (Artificial Stabilization in 3-Axis) System. The sense of precise control this system gives an mQX pilot rivals that of bigger quad-copters that cost a whole lot more. Indoors or out, breezy conditions or calm, you’ll find that you can fly the mQX with complete confidence just about anywhere, anytime. And it’s so simple to set up, anyone with experience fly

Well.. More this series has produced more than 24 Videos.. with more than 4.5 hours of viewing pleasure for the followers of RC ADVENTURES.. It has been an EPiC Journey. One of Trials, Tribulations, Failures, and Conquests.. With the Assistance from people ALL AROUND the world, this project will go into the books as one of the most Memorable projects I have ever completed. Certainly The Largest Build Video Series of RC Online. It will be difficult to bring competition to this series.. someone will have to work VERY hard to bring the BOOM. OverKiLL delivers.. and THEN SOME! Enjoy my Friends.. there will be more from this truck & the RCSparks Studio.

Once in a while I get to view how amazing RC is becoming. The Family / Club type of attitude is sweeping the world.. and TEDS Garage is one of the main contributing reasons that RC hobbyists world wide are beginning to make their own Home courses, start their own clubs.. and opening their doors to other friends, family and stingers to get together.. Just to have fun. It goes beyond the ability to just work magic with Mechanical Engineering.. it goes beyond being able to impress others with your stunning rigs.. and goes beyond the limitless options that RC can give you. Its about meeting new friends.. and just being able to re-discover the meaning of fun!
