The owner and publisher of the Atlanta Jewish Times, Andrew Adler, who suggested Israel should assassinate U.S. President Barack Obama, has resigned from his post, the Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported on Monday.

Adler, who has since apologized for his article, listed three options for Israel to counter Iran’s nuclear weapons in an article published in his newspaper last Friday. The first is to launch a pre-emptive strike against Hamas and Hezbollah, the second is to attack Iran’s nuclear facilities and the third is to “give the go-ahead for U.S.-based Mossad agents to take out a president deemed unfriendly to Israel in order for the current vice president to take his place and forcefully dictate that the United States’ policy includes its helping the Jewish state obliterate its enemies.”

Adler goes on to write: “Yes, you read “three correctly.” Order a hit on a president in order to preserve Israel’s existence. Think about it. If have thought of this Tom-Clancy-type scenario, don’t you think that this almost unfathomable idea has been discussed in Israel’s most inner circles?"

According to JTA's report, Adler announced Monday that he is “relinquishing all day-to-day activities effective immediately,” and that he named John McCurdy as interim managing editor.

Moammar Gadhafi loyalists seized control of a Libyan city and raised the ousted regime's green flag, an official and commander said Tuesday, in the most serious revolt yet against the country's government.

The retaking of Bani Walid comes as Libya's new leaders have struggled to unify the oil-rich North African nation three months after Gadhafi was captured and killed.

Hundreds of well-equipped and highly trained remnants of Gadhafi's forces raised the green flag over buildings in the western city late Monday after hours of clashes that drove out the local "revolutionary brigade," said Mubarak al-Fatamni, the head of Bani Walid local council. Revolutionary brigades are militias that are nominally loyal to the National Transitional Council, the national government.

Al-Fatamni, who fled to the nearby city of Misrata following the attack, said four revolutionary fighters were killed and 25 others were wounded.

The head of Bani Walid's military council, Abdullah al-Khazmi, also said Gadhafi loyalists had taken the city. He spoke to The Associated Press at a position on the eastern outskirts of Bani Walid, where hundreds of pro-NTC reinforcements from Benghazi were deployed, with convoys of cars mounted with machine guns.

A top commander of a revolutionary brigade in Bani Walid, Ali al-Fatamni, who was present in Benghazi during the attack, says he has lost contact with other fighters in the town.

The revolt is the latest breakdown in security, three months after Gadhafi's capture and killing. Protests have surged in recent weeks, with people demanding that the interim leaders deliver on promises of transparency and compensation for those injured in the fighting.

Bani Walid, located in the mountains 90 miles (140 kilometers) southeast of Tripoli, was one of the last Gadhafi strongholds to fall to revolutionary forces amid a monthslong civil war. It held out for weeks after the fall of the regime, with loyalist fighters dug into its formidable terrain of valleys and crevasses.

Gadhafi's son and longtime heir apparent, Seif al-Islam, was long believed to have been hiding in the town. Seif al-Islam, who has been charged with crimes against humanity by the International Criminal Court, was captured in November by fighters from the town of Zintan in Libya's western mountains, who continue to hold him.

The main tribe in Bani Walid is a branch of the Warfala tribal confederation, which stretches around the country with around 1 million members. The Bani Walid branch was one of the most privileged under Gadhafi, who gave them top positions and used their fighters to try to crush protesters in the early months of last year's uprising against his rule.

Such has left the tribe with deep mistrust and enmities with the rest of the cities, especially those whose residents have suffered the most during the uprising.

The fighters who rose up in Bani Walid on Monday belong to Brigade 93, a militia created by Gadhafi loyalists who reassembled after the fall of the regime in August, said al-Khazmi and the local council chief.

The brigade is named after a famous coup against Gadhafi in 1993 by members of the Warfala tribe. Gadhafi ordered executions and arrests of all the military officers involved in the coup, except for a few. Among those spared was Salem al-Aawar, who is believed to have helped the regime uncover the plot and who is believed to head Brigade 93, said al-Khazmi.

The Britain's Foreign Office said that tension is not between pro-Gadhafi loyalists but between tribal leaders and the National Transitional Council.

"This follows increased tensions in this area in recent weeks with local tribal leaders," a ministry spokesman said on customary condition of anonymity. "These events underline the importance of an inclusive political process, which the Libyans are working hard to take forward together with rebuilding Libya," he said.

Huge Solar Eruption Sparks Strongest Radiation Storm in 7 Years

A powerful solar eruption is expected to blast a stream of charged particles toward Earth tomorrow (Jan. 24), as the strongest radiation storm since 2005 rages on the sun.

Early this morning (0359 GMT Jan. 23, which corresponds to late Sunday, Jan. 22 at 10:59 p.m. EST), NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory caught an extreme ultraviolet flash from a huge eruption on the sun , according to the skywatching website Spaceweather.com.

The solar flare spewed from sunspot 1402, a region of the sun that has become increasingly active lately. Several NASA satellites, including the Solar Dynamics Observatory, the Solar Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO), and the Stereo spacecraft observed the massive sun storm.

A barrage of charged particles triggered by this morning's solar flare is expected to hit Earth tomorrow at around 9 a.m. EST (1400 GMT), according to experts at the Space Weather Prediction Center, a division of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. According to NOAA, this is the strongest solar radiation storm since May 2005, and as a precaution, polar flights on Earth are expected to be re-routed within the next few hours, Kathy Sullivan, deputy administrator of NOAA, said today at the 92nd annual American Meteorological Society meeting in New Orleans, La.

Scientists call these electromagnetic bursts "coronal mass ejections" (CMEs), and they are closely studied because they can produce potentially harmful geomagnetic storms when the charged particles rain down Earth's magnetic field lines.

In addition to generating stronger than normal displays of Earth's auroras (also known as the northern and southern lights), geomagnetic storms aimed directly at our planet can also disrupt satellites in orbit, cause widespread communications interference and damage other electronic infrastructures.

"There is little doubt that the cloud is heading in the general direction of Earth," Spaceweather.com announced in an alert. "A preliminary inspection of SOHO/STEREO imagery suggests that the CME will deliver a strong glancing blow to Earth's magnetic field on Jan. 24-25 as it sails mostly north of our planet."

Sunday's solar flare was rated an M9-class eruption, which placed it just on the verge of being an X-class flare, the most powerful type of solar storm. M-class sun storms are powerful but mid-range, while C-class flares are weaker.

NASA routinely monitors space weather conditions to determine any potential hazards to the astronauts aboard the International Space Station. Based on the agency's assessment, the six spaceflyers currently living and working on the orbiting outpost are not in any danger, said NASA spokesman Kelly Humphries.

"The flight surgeons have reviewed the space weather forecasts for the flare and determined that there are no expected adverse effects or actions required to protect the on-orbit crew," Humphries told SPACE.com in an email.

Last week, a separate sunspot group unleashed several M-class flares, and SDO scientists said these types of flares are occurring almost daily as the sun's rotation slowly turns the region toward Earth.

The sun's activity waxes and wanes on an 11-year cycle. Currently, our planet's nearest star is in the midst of Solar Cycle 24, and activity is expected to ramp up toward solar maximum in 2013.

An international rights group says Iraq's government cracked down harshly on dissent during the past year of Arab Spring uprisings, turning the country into a "budding police state" as autocratic regimes crumbled elsewhere in the region.

Human Rights Watch, in its annual report, says Iraqi security forces routinely abuse protesters, harass journalists, torture detainees and intimidate activists.

"Iraq is quickly slipping back into authoritarianism," said Sarah Leah Whitson, the Middle East director for the group. "Despite US government assurances that it helped create a stable democracy, the reality is that it left behind a budding police state." Iraqi officials could not be immediately reached for comment.

In February last year protests erupted across the country. The government clamped down, sometimes leading to bloodshed – 14 people were killed in clashes between security forces and civilians during the 25 February protests billed as the "Day of Rage".

A year later, with US troops withdrawn and Iraq's government mired in a political crisis and growing sectarianism, anti-government protests have all but died out.

Interpol faces legal threat for helping oppressive regimes hunt dissidents

LONDON -- A landmark lawsuit alleging that dictatorships and other oppressive regimes are using Interpol's alert system to harass or detain political dissidents is being planned by rights activists and lawyers.

Campaigners allege that rogue states have fabricated criminal charges against opposition activists who have been given refuge in other countries and then sought their arrest by obtaining "red notices" from the global police body.

There are currently about 26,000 outstanding red notices. While they are only designed to alert other nations' police forces that an Interpol member state has issued an arrest warrant, some countries will take suspects into custody based on the red notice alone.

In one case, Rasoul Mazrae, an Iranian political activist recognized by the United Nations as a refugee, was arrested in Syria in 2006 as he tried to flee to Norway after a red notice was issued.

Mazrae was deported back to Iran, where he was tortured, according to a report by Libby Lewis, of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists. He was later jailed for 15 years, Amnesty International says....

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) - South Carolina's attorney general has notified the U.S. Justice Department of potential voter fraud.

Attorney General Alan Wilson sent details of an analysis by the Department of Motor Vehicles to U.S. Attorney Bill Nettles.

In a letter dated Thursday, Wilson says the analysis found 953 ballots cast by voters listed as dead. In 71 percent of those cases, ballots were cast between two months and 76 months after the people died. That means they "voted" up to 6 1/3 years after their death.

The letter doesn't say in which elections the ballots were cast.

The analysis came out of research for the state's new voter identification law. The U.S. Justice Department denied clearance of that law.

Wilson told Nettles he asked the State Law Enforcement Division to investigate.

Sanctions take toll on ordinary Iranians

Tehran, Iran (CNN) -- Many in the West would like to see Iran punished for its nuclear ambitions. Tehran's residents would like those people to take a glimpse into their lives.

The European Union announced Monday it is banning the import of Iranian crude oil and blocking trade in gold, diamonds, and precious metals, among other steps, adding to sanctions already imposed by the United States and the United Nations. The measures take a big toll on Iran's lifeblood oil revenues.

The lives of ordinary Iranians have been deeply touched in recent weeks by the Western sanctions. Several spoke to CNN about how they are coping with staggering inflation and a plunging national currency, although none felt comfortable being fully identified, fearful of the Islamic Republic's long reach into private lives.

Farhad, 47, was once comfortable, but things began sliding downhill when sanctions came and the foreign oil firm that employed him packed up and left.

As a taxi driver, he works hard but saves little money. With the latest round of U.S. sanctions imposed on Iran's Central Bank last month, he has seen staggering inflation; the price of meat and milk have skyrocketed by as much as 50 percent.

He and his wife have stopped having guests at their home or going out to eat. They can't remember when they bought new clothes and no longer send their suits to the cleaners.

"I feel bad for the cleaners," he says. "They must be suffering as a result of people like me not using their services."

Farhad has a savings account that is shrinking fast as he dips into it to make ends meet.

His 21-year-old son works two part-time jobs while he earns a degree in computer science. Farhad feels bad that he can't afford to buy him the computer equipment he needs.

"I wait and pray for something to spark the economy and get it going, but I am not holding my breath," he says. "Life must go on. We can only wait and see what the future has in store for us."

In the meantime, he says, the only way for his sons to live a decent life is to fall in with influential people or make shady business deals like trading foreign currency on the black market.

The United States and other Western powers argue sanctions that target Iran's central bank, oil exports and foreign trade are designed to push Iran to cooperate at the nuclear negotiating table. They believe the Islamic Republic is developing nuclear weapons, although Tehran insists its program is reserved strictly for civilian energy purposes.

Prospects for talks have been dimmed by recent bellicose talk and actions aimed at destabilizing the Tehran government. The latest in such moves involves the European Union, poised Monday to consider an embargo on Iranian oil.

It's doubtful, most analysts say, that punitive measures will bring Iran to its knees. Doubtful, too, is that Tehran residents will suffer the same fate as their Baghdad counterparts, who for years, under international sanctions against Saddam Hussein's regime, faced dire shortages of basic goods.

But as Iranian-American scholar Haleh Esfandiari put it, the latest sanctions have been back-breaking, not just for the less affluent but also for the middle class.

"People are buying less because the prices have gone up," she said. "That affects the shopkeepers. It's a vicious cycle."

For many people, monthly government subsidies of $40 or $50 are no longer enough to get by, Esfandiari said.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad told parliament recently that the most recent sanctions -- imposed after an International Atomic Energy Agency report that said Tehran appeared to have worked on developing a nuclear bomb -- were "the most extensive ... sanctions ever." Ahmadinejad called the sanctions "the heaviest economic onslaught on a nation in history ... every day, all our banking and trade activities and our agreements are being monitored and blocked."

With the punitive measures came the downward spiral of the Iranian currency, the rial, severely devalued in the past few months against the U.S. dollar. That plunge, said CNN's Fareed Zakaria, is a key indication of Iran's instability.

"When Barack Obama became president, you could buy 9,700 rials with one dollar," he wrote in a column. "Since then, the dollar has appreciated 60 percent against the rial, meaning you can buy 15,600 rials. Tehran's reaction to the prospect of sanctions that affect its oil exports shows its desperation."

The higher dollar, of course, has made imported goods unaffordable for most Iranians.

Farhad says he eyed a refrigerator several months ago. It was made in Iran and affordable. But when he returned to buy it, the price had gone up 20 percent. The salesman informed him that parts of the fridge were made in South Korea.

The soaring prices and declining currency values come at a time when Iran is already facing "huge challenges" created partly by government mismanagement and failures in foreign policy, said one economist in Iran.

"I think the situation will be aggravated in the coming months," he told CNN. "We will witness higher inflation and unemployment rates with less economic growth."

Those who study the impact of sanctions argue that they must hurt in order to be effective, but not to the point where they break the economy, like they did in Iraq.

That does not bode well for Iranians trying to make ends meet.

Yaqoub, 59, fancies himself a retired tea man. That is, financial losses forced the office where he worked to close three years ago. He now does odd jobs. He manages to make about $200 a month and receives another $135 from the government. The youngest of his three daughters is not married yet and still lives with her parents.

He says the family gave up eating fruit -- it's too pricey and now is just a treat when guests come over.

Red meat went up from about $6 a kilogram to $9. Dinner at his house means vegetarian rice and beans.

"When I ask the shopkeepers why the prices keep going up, (they) say the government sets the prices and they have to do as they are told," he says. "People are hungry and this is why crime has gone up."

He says his son-in-law's motorcycle was stolen in front of his house. Theft was not something he worried about before.

It's not just the price of food and consumer goods that are hurting Iranians. Services like electricity and water are costing more, too. Yaqoub's monthly utility bill has almost doubled to $19 a month.

Add it all up, he says, and it's tough to make it on his income.

His wife tells him to stop worrying or he'll have a heart attack.

"I guess if we get really stuck for our daily expenses, I would have to move to a cheaper apartment or, in the worst case scenario, there will be no choice but to go to the north and live with my wife's parents. At least I won't have to worry about the rent there," he says.

Trita Parsi, president of the National Iranian-American Council, says sanctions are putting far more pressure on Iran's citizenry than on the regime they are intend to punish.

"The government always has the ability to circumvent sanctions and shift the burden onto the population," Parsi says.

Davood, 39, says he and his wife both have college degrees, but he earns money doing chores at an office -- making lunch, running errands, even cleaning.

He worries for Assal, his 5-year-old daughter. Perhaps a day will come when he has to move to a less expensive city in order to pay for her education.

"I see no chance for me to ever find a job where I can use my university degree," he says. "I am almost 40 now and as time goes by and I get older, no one will hire me. As it is, I am always worried that I may lose my job."

Some Tehran residents are stocking up on things while they can afford it, and while they are still on the shelves.

Rose, a retired nurse who survives solely on her government pension, bought a supply of grains and canned foods, just in case. She also feels lucky to own her apartment, so she doesn't have to worry about making rent.

She says a friend recently was hospitalized for two weeks. It cost her more than $11,000.

"Of course you cannot blame the doctors and hospitals because they have to pay for high-priced foods, materials and equipment," the nurse says. "Everything is related. High prices of food affect everything."

Analysts say the government ought to be fearful of too much discontent. Unemployment and stagflation helped fuel the 2009 mass demonstrations that at times appeared on the brink of bringing change to Iran's authoritarian rule.

Farhad says he understands he is caught up in global politics.

"I don't know what must be done to correct the economic condition, but I don't blame the Americans and their sanctions," he says.

Washington has to watch out for its own interests. And Iran, he says, must do what it can to safeguard its own.

One of the first themes I came across after my initial 'awakening' in 1990 was the Earth's 'ley line' or 'meridian' system. The Universe is holographic and so, as with all holograms, every part of the universe is a smaller version of the whole. As above, so below, and all that.

The earth energy system is therefore a bigger version of the human energy system of meridian lines that carry the energy that the Chinese call 'qi' or 'chi'. Acupuncturists are balancing the flow of the 'chi' with their hair-like needles and other techniques.

Chi is information from the universal information field and it is being decoded and encoded as it passes through the body meridians. It has been established that when the chi is flowing too quickly or slowly, or is subject to blockages, the person suffers some form of 'physical', mental or emotional disease - dis-ease, dis-harmony.

This is caused by the information exchange between universe and body being distorted and thus inaccurately decoded. The first sign we often see when a virus has infected a computer is that 'my computer is running so slow today'. Yes, the flow of information has been distorted.

The same principle applies to the earth which has lines of force criss-crossing land and ocean and connecting the planet to the greater universal networks. They are known by various names in different cultures like ley lines, meridians, fairy paths, dragon lines, spirit lines and dream paths.

'Feng-shui', or 'wind and water', is the Chinese practice of locating buildings, objects and natural phenomena like trees in places that harmonise with the flow of what it calls the 'dragon currents' which are affected, as you would expect in an interconnected system, by the movements of the sun, moon and planets.

Two of the best known and researched meridians are the so-called Michael-Mary lines which cross each other many times in their journey between the English west and east coasts. They pass through a long list of ancient earthworks and structures, including Avebury, the biggest stone circle in Europe, Glastonbury Tor and the ancient religious site of Bury St Edmunds Abbey.

The 'Michael' line is also apparently aligned with the path of the sun on May 8th, which is the Feast of the Apparition of St Michael. Many meridians have astrological alignments and therefore so do the structures placed upon them.

Where lots of these energy lines cross a massive vortex of energy is created and this is where ancient initiates of this knowledge located their stone circles and temples. They wanted to tap into this power and information and they used crystalline stones because of their receiving and transmitting qualities.

A single acupuncture needle in the wrong place can cause havoc for the whole body because of its knock-on effect on the energy flows and you can mess up the earth system, too, if know what you are doing. I don't just mean by strategically-placed standing stones or pyramids, but by major road intersections, nuclear power stations, even whole cities at key energetic locations.

The roads and buildings within the stone circle at Avebury in Wiltshire, England, are an excellent example of this. The main road through the centre is constantly used by cars, buses and trucks. You mean they couldn't have directed the roads around the circle or put the buildings elsewhere?

Satanists perform their rituals at power centres on the earth's energy system and Freemasonic temples are often located by the significance to the meridian network. They want to suppress the frequency of the planetary energy field - the 'sea' in which we live - because of the way that interaction can suppress the frequency of the human energy field.

An effective way to suppress the earth field is to perform your extreme low-vibrational rituals at the meridian power centres from where that low-vibrational energy is then distributed all over the world. As one Satanist put it:

'What most people do not realise is that Satanism is a ritually-based practice and that this repetition has - over time - left strong impressions upon the Morphic Field!'

The idea is to hold humanity in a low-vibrational, energetically-distorted state so that we do not connect with levels of awareness at higher realms of frequency that would allow us to understand who we are, where we are, and what is really happening in the world.

Satanists often use Christian churches for their rituals under the cover of darkness and sometimes with the help of Satanists planted as 'Christian' clergy for this very reason. The targeting of churches stems from the fact that so many were built on former 'pagan' energy sites when the unofficial 'pagan' religion of 'Christianity' was supplanting the official version.

The location where Chartres Cathedral stands in France today was the place where druids used to gather for rituals from all over Europe. Why? It is a meridian power vortex. Can you imagine what a religion based on human sacrifice - Jesus and the cross - does to this energy field and others?

You find the Freemasonic symbol of the twin towers integrated into Chartres as you do with so many cathedrals. It relates to the alleged twin towers of the mythical Solomon's Temple. The great cathedrals were built by secret societies like the Knights Templar and encoded with esoteric symbols and principles. They are less 'Christian' cathedrals and more secret society temples.

The astronomer Sir Norman Lockyer (1836-1920) brought the theme of ancient alignments back to some public attention when he realised that Stonehenge and two ancient 'hillforts' known as Grovely Castle and Old Sarum formed an equilateral triangle with sides of six miles.

He also saw that the alignment between Stonehenge and Old Sarum continued for another six miles to Salisbury Cathedral. In the other direction it aligns with the Avebury network of stones and earthworks like Silbury Hill.

But Lockyer is less well known for his observations on these subjects than another Englishman, Alfred Watkins. He had a 'revelation' in 1921 while perusing a map of the county of Herefordshire. He called what happened a 'flood of ancestral memory'. Suddenly, he could see how ancient structures, earthworks and standing stones were aligned with each other, often in straight lines continuing for many miles.

Watkins began years of study confirming alignments both on maps and in the field and others began to do the same after the publication of his 1925 book, The Old Straight Track. It was Watkins who coined the term 'ley lines' because so many of the alignments he identified passed through places ending in 'ley', as in Burnley, Keighley and Barnsley.

Watkins, like Lockyer, saw alignments and didn't include the concept of lines of force passing through these locations. But in many ways the two go together. The meridian system is in its foundation form a geometrical construct and so by placing structures on these lines, especially at vortex points where two or more lines cross, they automatically come into alignment.

But, of course, to do this you need to know that the lines exist and where they cross and there was clearly a considerable knowledge of geometry and astronomy in the ancient world among the initiated. Engineer Professor Alexander Thom was another pioneer researcher of megalithic structures. He wrote in his 1967 book, Megalithic Sites in Britain:

'It is remarkable that one thousand years before the earliest mathematicians of classical Greece, people in these islands not only had a practical knowledge of geometry and were capable of setting out elaborate geometrical designs but could also set out ellipses based on the Pythagorean triangles.'

Maybe the 'sky gods' had something to do with that.

The man who brought the meridian system to the fore more than anyone in modern times was the author, John Michell (1933-2009), in books like The View Over Atlantis. I met John in the earliest days after my 'awakening' of 1990/91 and I found him a charming and gracious man.

It was John who generated interest and discussion about energy lines flowing between aligned structures and their effect on earth and people. He once said: 'Anyone who has followed these paths across country will find that their life has been enriched, perhaps deepened, by the experience.'

Certainly there must be an effect. These lines of force are flows of electromagnetic energy and they impact upon the human electromagnetic field, as they do on the electromagnetic fields of everything, including animals and plants.

It has been proven that plants can be made to grow with astonishing speed and volume through electromagnetic stimulation. A CIA scientist told me in 1997 how he had developed technology that could create abundant growth in deserts without water.

'At the optimum, it is like watching time-lapse photography', he said.

There are so many world-changing technologies available in the secret projects that are not allowed in the public arena and they are based on a greater knowledge of reality that is often beyond the official laws of physics. When they are released so many 'unsolvable' problems will be deleted from the human experience.

I am writing this article because when I woke up the other morning, in that kind of half-sleep state, the words 'check the ley lines of Wembley' were repeating in my mind. This made sense to me because I have been aware for many years that the locations of my public events are connected to the earth energy grid.

I don't sit down and work it all out. I simply follow my intuition on which invitations to accept and which to leave. Another force is orchestrating all this, not the David Icke level of 'me'. The impact on the grid of a large number of people in the audience coming together with open minds and open hearts as one collective energetic field is absolutely fantastic.

We decided to take a significant financial risk by hiring the enormous Wembley Arena for the event on October 27th this year for a number of reasons. One was that the public interest had outgrown the venues in London that we have been using for many years and the 'intermediate' venues in terms of numbers, like the Royal Albert Hall, were not interested in having me there. So we made a leap of 'faith' and went for the big one, Wembley Arena.

Another reason was that I wanted to make a massive public statement by the size of the event that the exploding interest and the human awakening was now reaching levels so extraordinary that they could no longer be ignored by the mainstream.

I also wanted that statement to include a message to the Control System: 'We know what you are doing and we are not standing for it anymore.'

But, as always, I also knew that the location of Wembley - Wemb-ley - would have great significance in terms of the earth energy grid. I didn't check that, I just knew for the simple reason that this is always the case. My events are not only about voice-to-ear communication, but also collective energetic communication by all in attendance.

The United Kingdom and especially London is one of the world's major Illuminati power centres from where the Control System weaves its global energetic 'spider's web'. Back in 1990 I witnessed a 'channelling' by a woman whose face and voice fundamentally changed when she began to speak the words projected electromagnetically from another reality.

I have published what was said in a number of my books because I think it is so significant and has stood the test of now 22 years. But the part relevant to the current subject was this:

'As in your human body, there are energy lines around your planet, through your planet, which correspond, I suppose, very much to the acupuncture lines and meridians in your body. Where two lines cross, you create a vortex, a tiny vortex if it's two. The more lines that intersect, the bigger the vortex.

Therefore when you have a chakra you have a large vortex of intersecting energy. It is the same with your planet. Where the most lines cross there is the biggest vortex. Now you could say the plexus in and around the islands you call the British Isles is the hub of the wheel of plexuses and energies which surround your planet. It has acted in other times like a fail-safe device.

In order to activate these chakric points upon your planet, the energies must all pass through the central point. They must pass through the heart of the pattern.'

Going to Wembley is, in so many ways, going to the heart of the pattern in terms of its effect on the energy field of London itself and, from there, the wider world.

When the words about Wembley were whirring around my head the other morning I remembered a book I had read years before called Earthstars about the meridian network and geometry of London. It has a Foreword by John Michell. I couldn't find my copy so I sent for another and a few days later it arrived from the author, Chris Street.

Having made contact with Chris, I asked the obvious question: what do you know about the Wembley area? His reply confirmed the energetic significance of the Wembley complex. He said that Wembley football stadium was particularly well 'plugged in' to a network of natural sites that were important on the 'Earthstars' grid of London.

There was also a direct alignment to St. Paul's Cathedral, the highest point in the 'City', the London financial district where so much of the Illuminati global agenda is orchestrated. St Paul's is on Ludgate Hill where the Romans worshipped the goddess Diana. This is also where the ritual-obsessed bloodlines arranged for Princess Diana, named after the goddess, to marry Prince Charles.

Chris said that the Wembley Arena also has many energy lines passing through including one that he has dubbed 'London's Mary Line' which flows through 'an alignment of churches all dedicated to Saint Mary, running from St. Mary's at Harrow on the Hill through St Mary's Willesden, St Marylebone (Mary-le-bone) and on to St Mary le Strand in central London'. He added:

'The energy of this line is the nurturing protective energy of "the Divine Mother" archetype and a very healing influence. Certainly plenty for you to tap into and be empowered/inspired by for your event. And a great place to plug into the collective consciousness of the nation to wake the buggers up.'

That is the whole idea, of course, and I feel that the Wembley event will be of great energetic significance in shifting the energy field of London generated from one of the most important Illuminati power centres on the planet, perhaps the most important in many ways.

It is also true that the Illuminati Satanists have a very different perception of the 'Divine Mother', or goddess, and they perform grotesque rituals in 'her' name at energy centres that carry the feminine vibration. The energy grid is so vibrationally polluted after thousands of years of manipulation and disruption and it is in urgent need of a 'clean up'.

Chris Street interestingly also picked up on the lion image on the front cover of Human Race Get Off Your Knees - The Lion Sleeps No More. He says that he has identified two enormous figures of a lion and a unicorn etched in landscape features either side of London. 

He said that he was amazed to see the book cover because 'over the last three years it has been apparent that the energy represented by the Earthstars landscape figure of a lion was waking up and making its influence known in various ways'.

'As well as being one of the guardians of Britain, it represents the solar king impulse/energy asking us to wake and take control of our own destinies and our own lives.' 

This is one of the symbolic meanings for why I wanted the lion on the cover so brilliantly painted by artist Neil Hague. There is so much going on around us while the conscious mind sees the mundane and the illusory 'physical'.

This is why I say that if someone is an expert on 9/11, political scams, banking scams and manipulated wars, they are still only walking around the outer rim of the rabbit hole. It is also why an wide open mind to all possibility is required both to uncover the depth of what is happening and the means through which the Control System can be dismantled.

That 'means' at its foundation is energetic. The Control System is an energetic information construct and the 'sword' by which it lives (the old energetic construct) will be the sword by which it will eventually 'die' (the energetic transformation).

Asleep we are controlled. Awakened we shall be free.

Spy Software Up for Grabs?

Imagine living in a world where corporations and intelligence firms created software that can intercept communications of entire populations and demographics. Imagine a world where this software was sold by intelligence contractors to governments around the world, including brutal authoritarian dictatorships. Imagine these contractors making billions of dollars in the process.

There’s no need to pretend that this world exists, you’re living in it.

Last month, Wikileaks published a collection of documents called the “Spy Files” which details just how extensive and pervasive the global surveillance industry has become over the past decade. U.S. corporations such as Blue Coat sell software to oppressive countries like China and Iran to censor, track down, and crush dissent. As a longtime blogger on international affairs, I’ve been told stories of political bloggers in Iran who have been chopped up into little pieces and mailed back to their families in boxes. I know it’s a horrible image to picture in your head, but these atrocities are made possible by corporate entities such as Blue Coat and many like them.

This software isn’t only used by authoritarian regimes abroad; they are used here in the U.S., as well. Commercial interests are responsible for the software used in Predator drones that provide data for the CIA. These drones have recently been authorized to be used by law enforcement in the U.S. to gather intelligence.

Intelligence Integration System Inc. created software called Geospatial Toolkit to instantly identify your location and identity based on your phone signal and voice print. It’s called “location-based analytics”, and it was sold to the CIA and also applied to various drone operations abroad in extrajudicial assassinations. With the PATRIOT Act still in law, one can only assume the worst as to how private our private lives really are and how involved our own government is in it.

With the National Defense Authorization Act now signed into law that authorizes the indefinite detention of American citizens without charge or trial, this global surveillance industry becomes even more dangerous in the United States and creates more room for power to be abused.

Private companies don’t just sell spying software to the U.S. It’s going to go to whoever is the highest bidder, as well. Whether it is the president of Iran or the Saudi royal family, profit is profit and that bottom line is what matters in the end. Multinational surveillance corporations don’t have morals or ethics because they can’t afford it.

This elusive industry isn’t only limited to the secret meetings of intelligence agencies or the backrooms of dictator palaces; it has also infiltrated universities around the country.

The National Security Agency has been pouring hundreds of millions of dollars into grants for research funding in academics for at least the past five years. They don’t try very hard in hiding it either. In fact, many researchers and academics take pride in the fact that they are being funded by the NSA. With the dangerously common “You’re either with us or you’re with the terrorists” mentality still very present in today’s political discourse, the NSA doesn’t worry too much about the public outrage as to exactly what they are investing their money in; investments into joyful expenditures such as analysis of intercepted communications, pattern detection and data mining.

Students do all the hard work in researching hardware and software that will be used in the future to spy on American citizens and kill countless civilians abroad, all with our tax dollars. You’re welcome NSA.

One of the main reasons the Nazis were so effective and organized when it came to the concentration and death camps was because of computers created and given to them by a U.S. company called IBM. IBM customized these computers specifically for the death camps. Technology is not neutral when the intent of its design is specifically for undermining the freedoms and rights of citizens.

If you could go back in time and stop IBM, would you? What if you didn’t have to? These things are being done right now. Western companies are selling technologies to regimes that have no problem in slaughtering their own people to preserve their power, and indeed they have; mostly with weapons sold by U.S. arms traders and manufacturers. Thank you Lockheed Martin.

These intelligence and surveillance firms are able to do what they do because the public is not informed enough to make them accountable for the suffering and death they have caused in the pursuit of profit and at the expense of privacy and freedom from the state. By talking about these issues and facts brought to light by hackers and whistleblowers around the world and entering them into the public discourse, we will make it harder for these firms to market their oppressive technologies that result in the murders on innocent people.

Jewish paper's column catches Secret Service eye

Atlanta, Georgia (CNN) -- The U.S. Secret Service is looking into a controversial column by an Atlanta Jewish newspaper publisher that mulled the assassination of an American president.

Andrew Adler, owner and publisher of the Atlanta Jewish Times, wrote a January 13 column about the threat of Iran to Israel. He posed three options for the Jewish state to counter the Iranian regime.

One of them called for a "hit on a president in order to preserve Israel's existence."

"Give the go-ahead for U.S. based Mossad agents to take out a president deemed unfriendly to Israel in order for the current vice president to take his place and forcefully dictate that the United States' policy includes its helping the Jewish state obliterate its enemies."

U.S. Secret Service spokesman George Ogilvie told CNN Saturday, "We are aware of it. We are taking the appropriate investigative steps."

Adler could not be reached for comment, but the Jewish Telegraphic Agency, a wire service for Jewish newspapers in North America, quoted Adler on Friday as saying "I very much regret it. I wish I hadn't made reference to it at all."

Adler -- who said he's gotten a lot of flak for the column -- said he would issue an apology in the next edition of the weekly newspaper, the JTA reported.

The column, entitled "What would you do?" doesn't mention President Barack Obama's name, but U.S. Jewish groups that strongly denounced the column read the words as a reference to Obama himself. The column also refers to the administration's "never ending 'Alice in Wonderland' belief that diplomacy is the answer," an apparent dig at the Obama White House's foreign policy efforts at dialogue with such countries as Iran.

"The suggestion by anyone, in this case a Jewish newspaper publisher, that Israel should consider assassinating President Obama is shocking beyond belief," said Dov Wilker, director of the American Jewish Committee in Atlanta.

"While we acknowledge Mr. Adler's apology, we are flabbergasted that he could ever say such a thing in the first place. How could he even conceive of such a twisted idea?" said Wilker. "Mr. Adler surely owes immediate apologies to President Obama, as well as to the State of Israel and his readership, the Atlanta Jewish community."

The White House declined to comment Saturday on the column.

Abraham H. Foxman, the national director of the Anti-Defamation League, said Adler's "lack of judgment as a publisher, editor and columnist raises serious questions as to whether he's fit to run a newspaper."

"There is absolutely no excuse, no justification, no rationalization for this kind of rhetoric. It doesn't even belong in fiction. These are irresponsible and extremist words. It is outrageous and beyond the pale. An apology cannot possibly repair the damage.

"Irresponsible rhetoric metastasizes into more dangerous rhetoric. The ideas expressed in Mr. Adler's column reflect some of the extremist rhetoric that unfortunately exists -- even in some segments of our community -- that maliciously labels President Obama as an 'enemy of the Jewish people,'" Foxman said.

Simon Wiesenthal Center associate dean Rabbi Abraham Cooper called the remarks "irresponsible and reprehensible" and said they "must be publicly condemned by Jewish leaders across the ideological and political spectrum."

"We take small comfort from the apology — what a shanda!" Cooper said, using the Yiddish word for something shameful or scandalous.

JTA also quoted Ophir Aviran, the Israeli consul-general in Atlanta as saying he was "appalled at this deranged and morally repugnant assertion."

The Atlanta Jewish Times, a weekly focused on the Atlanta Jewish community, was founded in 1925 as the Southern Israelite.

The Stakes Have Never Been Higher

Most of the recent big, commonly noticeable and objectionable changes in our controllable circumstances in America -- including many downright atrocities -- have happened since September 11, 2001. And a goodly number of them have developed as a direct consequence. Although that day still seems, in many ways, very recent, it appears to have marked not only a beginning of our current and accumulating woes, but also the end of a long age of relative bliss, freedom, and a degree of personal opportunity that we haven't experienced since.

My supposition, which I've voiced here before, is that 9/11 wasn't just an "inside job", but rather was done at the bequest of an international elite firmly in control of our (government + corporate) establishment, as well as those in other countries, the main trunk of the giant controlling octopus being international central banking.

Within a year or two after 9/11/01, at least a small segment of the populace was beginning to note that a credible (and routine) investigation of the background and modus operandi of 9/11 still hadn't been conducted by the criminal justice system. The lack of initiative in this case seemed puzzling due to nearly all Americans' faith at the time in the strength and reliability of the constitutional machinery of due process. The ensuing insistence by many that such routine procedures be carried out and criminal accountability be exacted stemmed from a shocked observation that such was not already completed, as one would have supposed, nor even yet underway. And thus, the 9/11 Truth movement in its present form was conceived to compel or urge that tardy process.

But, to repeat -- our long train of abuses by the system -- and our awareness thereof has only grown since. And thus, our mission -- to foment full and objective official (or officially-recognized) investigation of the original crimes and impose accountability therefore, has only gained in importance and, indeed, urgency over the years. For, a country founded on justice and fairness cannot survive as such under fairness denied and the machinery of justice ordered to stand down.

Did the American abolition movement against the gross injustice of slavery, which began in earnest in the early 1830s, stop and give up in the early 1840s? No! It was just getting nicely started and achieved its triumph through fiery trial another two decades later. The U.S. "security" agencies founded al-Qaeda about 33 years ago, and they are still using that deceitful patsy, the scapegoat, false-terrorist organization to stir up and perpetuate mayhem and cowardly dependence today. Can our response be to fold our tent and give up after a few short seasons of protest and opposition? I think not.

In an earlier manifestation of the West's pathological revulsion against Muslims and propensity for covetousness of Muslim-owned goods, the myth of Prester John, a legendary Christian prince and ally, at first lurking somewhere in Asia, was promulgated throughout Christian Europe as an encouragement to venture forth to rapine and plunder. And, centuries later, the myth was still urged and this man of Biblical abilities and longevity was still being assiduously sought, by then in Africa.

The women's suffrage movement finally triumphed nationally about 80 years after its start, surviving countless heartbreaks and reverses. We all hope for a solid breakthrough on 9/11 tomorrow; but please remember that ten years of toil and struggle to gain traction is nothing in such things!

So, persevere! Be of stout heart! Our issue is still very much alive in this country and well beyond (due to our efforts) and the blood and suffering of millions now calls out for us to continue, to say nothing of our own living hope for redemption, a return to freedom, and betterment. And if you don't like the pace or the way things are being done, don't wait -- make things happen! Start or revive a 9/11 Truth group! Write a book or article or letter! Lead a march! Convince your local Occupy group to back our demand for a real investigation! Tell a friend! Make a difference! Make the truth you know matter! Spread the truth and the facts you are perceptive and fortunate enough to possess! Don't stop now!

Honduran president to bring in "US personnel" to battle 'violent crime'...

Honduras says US personnel to help stem violence

MEXICO CITY—Honduran President Porfirio Lobo says the United States is sending people to help Honduras battle the violent crime that led to the withdrawal of U.S. Peace Corps volunteers this week.

Lobo says the Americans will work on analyzing the problems.

Lobo told the HRN radio network Thursday that "soon there will be U.S. personnel here ... and that will contribute to the tranquility of the Honduran people."

He did not say if the Americans would come from some government agency or a private company.

The United States confirmed Monday that all 158 Peace Corps volunteers had left Honduras.

Lobo says that Honduras is also receiving security help from Colombia, Chile, Spain and other countries.

WASHINGTON (AP) - The CIA's top lawyer never approved sending a veteran agency officer to New York, where he helped set up police spying programs, The Associated Press has learned. Such approval would have been required under the presidential order that Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said authorized the unusual assignment.

Normally, when the CIA dispatches one of its officers to work in another government agency, rules are spelled out in advance in writing to ensure the CIA doesn't cross the line into domestic spying. Under a 1981 presidential order, the CIA is permitted to provide "specialized equipment, technical knowledge or assistance of expert personnel" to local law enforcement agencies but only when the CIA's general counsel approves in each case.

Neither of those things happened in 2002, when CIA Director George Tenet sent veteran agency officer Lawrence Sanchez to New York, former U.S. intelligence officials told the AP. While on the CIA's payroll, Sanchez was the architect of spying programs that transformed the NYPD into one of the nation's most aggressive domestic intelligence agencies.

The CIA's inspector general cleared the agency of any wrongdoing in its partnership with New York, but the absence of documentation and legal review shows how murky the rules were as the CIA and NYPD formed their unprecedented collaboration in the frenzied months after the 2001 terrorist attacks.

In a series of investigative reports since August, the AP has revealed that, with the CIA's help, the NYPD developed spying programs that monitored every aspect of Muslim life and built databases on where innocent Muslims eat, shop, work and pray. Plainclothes officers monitored conversations in Muslim neighborhoods and wrote daily reports about what they heard.

Kelly, the police commissioner, has vigorously defended the NYPD's relationship with the CIA. Testifying before the City Council in October, Kelly said the collaboration was authorized under the 1981 presidential order, known as No. 12333.

"Operating under this legal basis, the CIA has advised the police department on key aspects of intelligence gathering and analysis," Kelly said.

Kelly cited the section of the presidential order, 2.6c, that also requires the CIA's top lawyer to approve such arrangements, but he did not tell the city council that approval by the CIA's top lawyer was required.

The CIA's general counsel at the time, Scott Muller, did not approve the arrangement, former intelligence officials said, speaking on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to discuss the matter. CIA lawyers, particularly those in New York, were aware Sanchez was working out of the NYPD offices but the rules of the arrangement were not documented in advance, the officials said.

Muller, now in private practice in New York, said he had not been following the issue and declined to comment. The CIA did not respond when repeatedly asked to explain the justification for Sanchez's assignment and why Muller did not sign off.

Sanchez, a CIA veteran who spent 15 years overseas in the former Soviet Union, South Asia and the Middle East, instructed officers on the art of collecting information without attracting attention. He directed officers and reviewed case files. Sometimes intelligence collected from NYPD's operations was passed informally to the CIA, former NYPD officials said.

The CIA's internal watchdog found nothing wrong with the partnership and concluded that the agency did not violate the executive order. U.S. officials have said that's in part because the CIA never instructed Sanchez to set up the NYPD spying programs.

U.S. officials have acknowledged that the rules were murky. They attributed that to the desperate push for better intelligence following the attacks.

Sanchez left the department in late 2010 but was followed last summer by a senior clandestine operative who holds the title of special assistant to David Cohen, a former CIA officer who runs the intelligence division. The CIA has asked the AP not to publish the operative's name. The CIA would not say whether its current general counsel approved his being sent to the NYPD.

The clandestine CIA operative's role at the NYPD remains unclear. Officially, he is there on a sabbatical to observe the NYPD's management. Kelly said the operative provides the NYPD with foreign intelligence. CIA Director David Petraeus described him as an adviser. Director of National Intelligence James Clapper described him to Congress as an analyst, then Clapper's office acknowledged that was incorrect.

The CIA's relationship with the NYPD has troubled lawmakers and top intelligence officials.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., chairwoman of the Senate Intelligence Committee, has said the CIA has "no business or authority in domestic spying, or in advising the NYPD how to conduct local surveillance."

Clapper also said it did not look good for the CIA to be involved in any city police department.

There is a clear attempt by Western governments and their surrogates, especially Qatar, to dominate the spectrum of international network news outlets. It all began when Qatar-based Al Jazeera became the primary enemy of the Bush administration in its attempt to influence news reporting from war zones like Afghanistan and Iraq.

The United States was never really happy with Al Jazeera’s Arabic service, having militarily attacked the network’s office in Kabul in November 2001 and its Baghdad bureau in April 2003. A leaked 10 Downing Street memorandum from 2005 indicated that President George W. Bush wanted to bomb Al Jazeera’s broadcast center in Doha in 2004.

But when Al Jazeera English began broadcasting in 2006, what was a nuisance to U.S. propaganda efforts on military battlefields abroad became a problem for the United States at home. Although U.S. cable companies did their best to ban Al Jazeera English from cable television offerings, the network was being carried over a television broadcast channels in the Washington, DC area. Moreover, Al Jazeera English’s web site began attracting more and more Internet surfers. Al Jazeera’s independent reporting on the news – which was far and above that of any U.S. news network, including the one-time standard for international cable news broadcasting, CNN – was being referenced by more and more journalists and political leaders.

By the time the Barack Obama administration took over the reins of power in Washington, a new policy was adopted, one that would seek to co-opt news networks like Al Jazeera rather than attack them on the battlefield and censor them in the corporate news rooms of the United States.

Obama appointed Walter Isaacson, the former Chairman and CEO of CNN and someone who is as much a cog in the machinery of globalism and the “New World Order” as news manipulators George Soros and Rupert Murdoch, as chairman of the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG), the oversight authority of the U.S. government for such official propaganda outlets as the Voice of America, the Arabic language Al-Hurra television network, and Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty. Isaacson said of the burgeoning number of international news networks, including Al Jazeera, RT (formerly Russia Today), and others, “We can’t allow ourselves to be out-communicated by our enemies.” Isaacson, in addition to protecting his own nest egg of U.S. government-financed propaganda networks, which include a much-hyped Radio Free Europe station broadcasting locally in Afghanistan, saw Al Jazeera, RT, and China’s CCTV as threatening the stranglehold his corporate pals at CNN, Fox News, and MS-NBC maintained over news content on the cable networks.

On March 2, 2011, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton weighed into the debate during testimony before the Senate Appropriations Committee. Clinton declared the United States was losing the global information war and cited Al Jazeera, CCTV, and RT as examples of networks besting the United States at televised news.

Clinton said, “We are in an information war and we are losing that war. Al Jazeera is winning, the Chinese have opened a multi-language television network, the Russians have opened up an English-language network. I’ve seen it in a few countries, and it is quite instructive.”

Although Clinton was arguing for Congress to budget more money for the old tired U.S. propaganda elephants like the Voice of America and Cold War throwbacks like Radio Free Europe, her comments, as well as those of Isaacson, signaled a more aggressive attitude by Washington toward independent news networks.

It was also apparent that some traditional sources for independent news, including the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) and France-24, were being heavily influenced by interference from their respective governments, especially in how the networks were covering British and French foreign policy, especially toward the Middle East.

Rather than compete with Al Jazeera English, the Obama administration ensured that its editorial independence was stymied and its reporting on the news took on a more pro-American flavor. After Obama’s Middle East and Islamic “reach out” speeches in Cairo and Istanbul, Al Jazeera began overflowing with praise for Obama policies. In early 2011, as the “Arab Spring” uprisings began toppling dictatorships in Tunisia, Egypt, and eventually Libya, Al Jazeera began to emulate American networks, the BBC, and France-24, in favorably reporting from the field and taking the side of the revolutionaries and rebels. Nothing was reported by the network on the outside help the uprisings were receiving from the George Soros global non-governmental organization (NGO) contrivances and U.S. CIA-linked funding from the National Endowment for Democracy and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID).

When rebels rose up against Muammar Qaddafi in Libya, Al Jazeera embedded its journalists with the rebels, citing massacre after massacre by Qaddafi troops but silent on grotesque violations of human rights by the rebels. When the Arab Spring moved to Syria, Al Jazeera’s reporting was much the same: massive sympathy for the Western-backed rebels but little in the way of reporting from the perspective of the government in Damascus. Al Jazeera also failed to report on its own conflicts-of-interest in reporting on Libya. Al Jazeera’s chairman is Hamad bin Thamer al Thani, a member of the Qatari royal family, which had committed Qatari military forces to the NATO campaign against Qaddafi and which was reaping the benefits of a Libyan rebel contract to market Libyan oil from rebel-held territory in the North African nation. A leaked U.S. State Department cable from Qatar stated that Al Jazeera served the political interests of the al-Thani family and the Qatari government, which include Qatar’s para-statal natural gas and oil companies.

Al Jazeera in Doha often featured guests from the Saban Center at the Brookings Institution office in the Qatari capital. The Saban Center is funded by Israeli-American Hollywood mogul Haim Saban, an Egyptian-born Israeli-American who touts the uber-Zionist line of Israel and its powerful lobby in the United States. Saban is also a major funder of the Democratic Party and in 2007 he and Steven Spielberg hosted a fundraiser for Mrs. Clinton at the home of Peter Chernin, the President of News Corporation, the parent of Fox News. The interlocking relationship of Clinton, Isaacson, Saban, and other neo-conservative and neo-liberal manufacturers and molders of public opinion are what lies at the heart of the attempts by they and their ilk to limit the public exposure of independent news networks around the world. Their philosophy is “if you can’t beat the competition, don’t compete with them, just co-opt and control them.”

Hillary Clinton and Isaacson were successful in “taming” Al Jazeera and bringing it around to support U.S. and western imperialistic adventures in the Middle East and even outside the region. Al Jazeera’s slanted coverage of anti-government demonstrations in Russia, following parliamentary elections, mirrored the tilted coverage by the network of the events in Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, and Syria.

China’s CCTV remains at an early stage and has not yet shown itself to be much of a threat. Its reporters seem to know there is a line that they cannot cross in their coverage of events and until CCTV is permitted to become more independent of the authorities in Beijing, it, ironically, will not be a threat to Western interests. In some cases, RT has shown itself to be vulnerable to some of the same forces that ruined the independence of Al Jazeera, for example, having more than a reasonable number of guests who are paid by Soros without citing their ties to the international financier and his anti-Russian playbook. Iran’s Press-TV is being adversely affected by the crippling sanctions being levied by the West on Tehran and its ability to maintain foreign bureaus are suffering as a result.

However, not all is doom and gloom. Some former Al Jazeera correspondents and producers, disgusted how their former network has been co-opted by the West and Israeli interests, are launching a new news network in March, one that will be based in Beirut and free of the political chains and cob webs that have limited the journalistic independence of so many other networks. Al Mayadeen, which means “public squares,” has decided not to invite Israeli spokespeople on the air. Television networks that give Western globalist and Israeli interests more than there fair share of coverage are already too numerous and Al Mayadeen has seen the business and journalistic niche created by those networks that have surrendered to the United States in Clinton’s and Isaacson’s information war.

US authorities say former Liberian leader Charles Taylor worked for its intelligence agencies, including the CIA, the Boston Globe reports.

The revelation comes in response to a Freedom of Information request by the newspaper.

A Globe reporter told the BBC this is the first official confirmation of long-held reports of a relationship between US intelligence and Mr Taylor.

Mr Taylor is awaiting a verdict on his trial for alleged war crimes.

Rumours of CIA ties were fuelled in July 2009 when Mr Taylor himself told his trial, at the UN-backed Special Court for Sierra Leone in the Hague, that US agents had helped him escape from a maximum security prison in Boston in 1985.

The CIA at the time denied such claims as "completely absurd".

But now the Defence Intelligence Agency, the Pentagon's spy arm, has disclosed that its agents - and those of the CIA - did later use Mr Taylor as an informant, the Globe reports.

Globe reporter Bryan Bender told the BBC's Network Africa programme that Pentagon officials refused to give details on exactly what role Mr Taylor played, citing national security.

But they did confirm that Mr Taylor first started working with US intelligence in the 1980s, the period when he rose to become one of the world's most notorious warlords, Mr Bender says.

Mr Taylor was later elected Liberia's president.

He has been accused of arming and controlling the RUF rebels in neighbouring Sierra Leone during a 10-year campaign of terror conducted largely against civilians.

If convicted, Mr Taylor would serve a prison sentence in the UK.

He denies charges of murder, rape and using child soldiers.

January 18, 2012 "NYDN" -- An Arizona school district largely made up of Mexican-Americans has been forced to slash its ethnic studies program, and now the books are going, too.

The Tucson Unified School District released the titles of its banned books on Friday, a lengthy list that removes every textbook dealing with Mexican-American history — and even Shakespeare.

The book ban is part of a curriculum change to avoid “biased, political and emotionally charged” teaching, CNN reported.

“The Tempest,” one of the playwright’s classics, is among the books removed, as teachers were urged to stay away from any works where “race, ethnicity and oppression are central themes,” the website Salon reported.

The school faces a multimillion-dollar fine if it doesn’t comply with the ban.

Even local titles were cut, including “Rethinking Columbus: The Next 500 Years,” which includes an essay by Tucson author Leslie Silko, and served as a textbook for 20 years.

“By ordering teachers to remove ‘Rethinking Columbus,’ the Tucson school district has shown tremendous disrespect for teachers and students,” said Bill Bigelow, the book’s editor.

“This is a book that has sold over 300,000 copies and is used in school districts from Anchorage to Atlanta, and from Portland, Ore. to Portland, Maine. It offers teaching strategies and readings teachers can use to help students think about the perspectives that are too often silenced in the traditional curriculum.”

“Pedagogy of the Oppressed” and “Occupied America: A History of Chicanos” also will be banned. The two books were often targeted by state superintendent John Huppenthal, who pushed for the program’s cut.

The abolition of ethnic studies in the school district, where more than 60% of students come from Mexican-American backgrounds, has sparked a backlash since the judge announced the 13-year-old program’s termination on Tuesday.

Arizona State University professor Simon Ortiz expressed disappointment in a blog post.

“The banning explicitly and pointedly shows it is not only Mexican-American Studies and people and so-called illegal immigrants that are targeted, but indigenous studies and people as a whole,” he wrote.

Bigelow, who also works as an editor of Rethinking Schools magazine, says the books shouldn’t be forbidden.

“The only other time a book of mine was banned was in 1968, when the apartheid government in South Africa banned ‘Strangers in Their Own Country,’ a curriculum I’d written that included a speech by then-imprisoned Nelson Mandela,” said Bigelow.

“We know what the South African regime was afraid of. What is the Tucson school district afraid of?”

Romney’s Bain Capital Owns Media Giant Broadcasting Limbaugh, Hannity

Activists are expressing serious concerns that Mitt Romney’s private equity firm Bain Capital owns one of America’s largest media conglomerates, Clear Channel Communications, Inc., which broadcasts numerous popular talk-show hosts with incalculable influence in the 2012 GOP primary. Among the radio personalities syndicated by Clear Channel or aired on hundreds of stations it owns nationwide are Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, Mark Levin, Glenn Beck, Michael Savage, and many others.

Because of the San Antonio-based media giant’s enormous influence — it is the largest owner of radio stations in the United States, and experts point out that it essentially owns what has come to be known as the conservative talk-radio industry — Romney critics, supporters of Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich, Tea Party groups, and elections commentators are all raising the alarm. Some analysts are even calling for the firm to disclose the fact that Romney’s Bain Capital owns a station or syndicates a show whenever a media personality is reporting on the Republican presidential campaign.

Former Politico.com reporter Ben Smith, now the editor-in-chief of BuzzFeed, called out Rush Limbaugh on Thursday for defending Romney and Bain Capital without disclosing that his employer is owned by the candidate’s firm. “Talk radio king Rush Limbaugh has emerged as a key defender of Mitt Romney’s tenure at Bain Capital, where — his Republican and Democratic critics charge — layoffs at companies Bain owned should be blamed on Romney,” noted Smith. “But Limbaugh hasn’t mentioned his own tie to the venture capital firm: Bain owns Clear Channel Communications, whose subsidiary inked a $400 million, eight-year syndication deal with Limbaugh in 2008.”

It turns out the talk-radio titan had actually revealed the connection later on in the show, and Smith updated his article to include that fact when he was made aware of it by readers. But the explosive story attracted more media interest in the subject nonetheless.

Bain Capital joined with private-equity firm Thomas H. Lee Partners to buy Clear Channel in 2008, with the announcement made shortly before Romney’s 2008 run for the GOP nomination. The $25-billion deal included around 1,000 AM and FM stations, as well as dozens of televisions stations that were later sold off.

Clear Channel subsidiary Premiere Radio Networks — the largest radio syndication service in America with talk-show hosts including Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and Sean Hannity — was also part of the package. According to the company’s website, its radio programs reach nearly two-thirds of the American people each week through some 5,000 radio affiliations.

“Think about that the next time you're flipping channels on the radio and realize that Rush Limbaugh calls the candidates ‘Romney,’ ‘Non-Romney,’ and ‘Loony,’” noted Delaware elections examiner Angel Clark in a piece detailing the connections. “Why do these other candidates get called ‘Non-Romney’?”

Today, of course, Romney no longer leads the firm he co-founded, though Bain Capital and Bain & Co. are shoveling gargantuan sums of money into his campaign. But Romney still owns a huge stake in the company and profits handsomely from it, according to his financial disclosure report. And analysts say he undoubtedly still wields at least some degree of influence.

“If you have been wondering why so many conservative talk show hosts are being so incredibly kind to Mitt Romney, this just might be the answer,” explained a popular blogger commenting on the Bain Capital-Clear Channel connection, saying it was improper for one of the Republican front-runners to have such an overwhelming financial stake in talk radio. “In the media world, there is a clear understanding that you simply do not bite the hand that feeds you…. If you were making tens of millions of dollars a year, wouldn't you be very careful to avoid offending your boss?”

It remains unclear how much influence Bain Capital actually exerts over the day-to-day operations of its employees at Clear Channel. However, even the perception of a potential conflict of interest has led to severe and growing criticism of both the media behemoth and Romney.

Clear Channel and its subsidiaries have been criticized on several other fronts in recent times, too. Last year, for example, its Premiere Radio Networks syndication service was exposed using paid actors to call into talk shows and read scripts. Some cynics have even suggested that pro-Romney callers on conservative shows may have actually been well-paid propagandists reading from a prepared script.

What is clear is that very little serious scrutiny and criticism of Romney or Bain Capital has been broadcasted by Clear Channel radio stations and talk-show hosts in recent years. More than a few, however, have been very vocal in their support for Romney.

Martin Luther King: Praised in Words, Defamed in Deeds

What a spectacle, the "first black president" of the United States celebrating Martin Luther King Jr Day. How far we've come, or so it would seem.

And while King was primarily a civil rights activist seeking equality amongst men based on their humanity, not the countenance of their skin, and the fact that a black man can become president is indeed progress, King was also a champion for humanity in general. He was a peace activist as much as a civil rights activist.

In a speech given on April 4, 1967 in New York City titled, "Beyond Vietnam - A Time to Break Silence," King gives what is perhaps the widest encapsulation of his philosophy and worldview, one that would undoubtedly criticize and clash with the disingenuous US president celebrating Martin Luther King Jr. Day this year. And the beauty of the equality King helped usher in is, the fact that Obama is black should not shield him from the criticism of the very man that helped pave the way for his accession to office.

One section of King's enlightening speech criticizing the Vietnam War states:

"It is with such activity in mind that the words of the late John F. Kennedy come back to haunt us. Five years ago he said, "Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." Increasingly, by choice or by accident, this is the role our nation has taken, the role of those who make peaceful revolution impossible by refusing to give up the privileges and the pleasures that come from the immense profits of overseas investments. I am convinced that if we are to get on the right side of the world revolution, we as a nation must undergo a radical revolution of values. We must rapidly begin...we must rapidly begin the shift from a thing-oriented society to a person-oriented society. When machines and computers, profit motives and property rights, are considered more important than people, the giant triplets of racism, extreme materialism, and militarism are incapable of being conquered.

A true revolution of values will soon cause us to question the fairness and justice of many of our past and present policies. On the one hand, we are called to play the Good Samaritan on life's roadside, but that will be only an initial act. One day we must come to see that the whole Jericho Road must be transformed so that men and women will not be constantly beaten and robbed as they make their journey on life's highway. True compassion is more than flinging a coin to a beggar. It comes to see that an edifice which produces beggars needs restructuring. A true revolution of values will soon look uneasily on the glaring contrast of poverty and wealth. With righteous indignation, it will look across the seas and see individual capitalists of the West investing huge sums of money in Asia, Africa, and South America, only to take the profits out with no concern for the social betterment of the countries, and say, "This is not just." It will look at our alliance with the landed gentry of South America and say, "This is not just." The Western arrogance of feeling that it has everything to teach others and nothing to learn from them is not just.

A true revolution of values will lay hand on the world order and say of war, "This way of settling differences is not just." This business of burning human beings with napalm, of filling our nation's homes with orphans and widows, of injecting poisonous drugs of hate into the veins of peoples normally humane, of sending men home from dark and bloody battlefields physically handicapped and psychologically deranged, cannot be reconciled with wisdom, justice, and love. A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death.

America, the richest and most powerful nation in the world, can well lead the way in this revolution of values. There is nothing except a tragic death wish to prevent us from reordering our priorities so that the pursuit of peace will take precedence over the pursuit of war. There is nothing to keep us from molding a recalcitrant status quo with bruised hands until we have fashioned it into a brotherhood.

This kind of positive revolution of values is our best defense against communism. War is not the answer. Communism will never be defeated by the use of atomic bombs or nuclear weapons. Let us not join those who shout war and, through their misguided passions, urge the United States to relinquish its participation in the United Nations. These are days which demand wise restraint and calm reasonableness. We must not engage in a negative anticommunism, but rather in a positive thrust for democracy, realizing that our greatest defense against communism is to take offensive action in behalf of justice. We must with positive action seek to remove those conditions of poverty, insecurity, and injustice, which are the fertile soil in which the seed of communism grows and develops."

It is safe to say that America has not mended its ways and only traveled further down the dark path King warned us of back in 1967. The man "leading" us, or at least the front-man for the corporate-financier interests that drive America's destiny, may honor King with carefully contrived words and well orchestrated ceremony, but in deeds and actions Obama and the corporate-financier elite that hold his leash, defame and dishonor King in every way imaginable.

If you want to honor King and his life's work, honor it by implementing the words he uttered while alive, not by playing along with a system that resisted him until his death, and has since dishonored him with disingenuous praise while maliciously carrying out an agenda contra to everything King ever stood for.

In an interview on the Chris Matthews show on MSNBC, former CIA officer Robert Baer said that Israel is behind the string of assassinations of Iranian nuclear scientists. The latest victim of this terror campaign was 32-year-old Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan.

Baer said that Israel’s motive is to provoke Iran into a military response, which would force the United States of America to retaliate against Iran on the behalf of Israel. This narrative makes clear that America is the victim, not the fellow conspirator, of Israeli terrorism. But is this narrative true, or is this just a clever CIA psyop to make Israel take the blame for terrorist actions against Iran that were approved by the CIA and the White House in advance? The historical record and the facts show that the latter is the case.

It is naive and anti-historical to believe that the U.S. intelligence community is kept out of the loop of Israel’s policy towards Iran. We cannot give the CIA the benefit of the doubt in the murder of an Iranian nuclear scientist. Simply put, the CIA has no credibility.

Is the CIA capable of murdering Iranian scientists, or assisting in such an act? Yes. The CIA has a long track record of state-sponsored terrorism and political assassinations, including on American soil (JFK, 9/11, Oklahoma City Bombing).

Making Israel take the heat for a policy of assassinations against Iranian nuclear scientists that enjoys the approval of Washington is a clever way of twisting reality. But it is not plausible. The CIA does not have clean hands, especially when it comes to Iran.

As Richard Silverstein writes, “while the U.S. has denied participating in the sabotage campaign against Iran’s nuclear program, we know of it and approve it. We’ve compartmentalized our efforts so the U.S. puts the squeeze on economically and Israel does it militarily. But this is a coordinated program and we are willing participants in it. Whether or not we planted bombs in Teheran, we are accessories after the fact and share in the culpability for this egregious conduct.”

Both the CIA and Mossad are guilty of state terrorism from New York City to Tehran. Iranian nuclear scientists and American citizens were murdered by the same monsters. That is the truth. And that should not be news to anyone.

The American people, the Iranian people, and the Israeli people will ultimately pay the price for U.S.-Israeli state terrorism.

Even if intelligent and wise people in the CIA want America to separate itself from Israel, they can’t do it because the crime of 9/11 irreversibly linked the U.S. empire aka the Great Satan with the Zionist serpent in Tel Aviv. Their political fate and strategic success in the Middle East is interlinked. To suggest otherwise ignores the facts.

But that doesn’t mean that America and Israel have no choice but to continue down this destructive and criminal path. There is a better way to resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and the U.S.-Iranian conflict. But nothing will change for the better in the Middle East until there is regime change in Washington and Tel Aviv.

When Barack Obama inked the National Defense Authorization Act on New Year’s Eve, the president insisted that he wouldn’t use the terrifying legislation against American citizens. Another new law, however, could easily change all of that.

If the Enemy Expatriation Act passes in its current form, the legislation will let the government strike away citizenship for anyone engaged in hostilities, or supporting hostilities, against the United States. The law itself is rather brief, but in just a few words it warrants the US government to strip nationality status from anyone they identify as a threat.

What’s more, the government can decide to do so without bringing the suspected troublemaker before a court of law.

Under the legislation, “hostilities” are defined as “any conflict subject to the laws of war” and does not explicitly state that charges against suspects go to court.

When Obama signed NDAA on December 31, the president said that his administration “will not authorize the indefinite military detention without trial of American citizens.” Added the president, “Indeed, I believe that doing so would break with our most important traditions and values as a Nation.” But by breaking off ties between citizens — American-born or otherwise — the harsh realities of NDAA can be forced on anyone in the US if Washington decides that it is in the country’s best interest.

The National Defense Authorization Act drew widespread opposition despite a lack of media cover due to the capabilities in bestows in the administration. Under NDAA, the government can indefinitely imprison anyone deemed dangerous by Washington and hold them without trial. After criticism led to massive online campaigns and protests, President Obama addressed the issue and said specifically that his administration would not understand the law as such. Instead, said Obama, “My administration will interpret section 1021 in a manner that ensures that any detention it authorizes complies with the Constitution, the laws of war, and all other applicable law.”

Some are now saying that Obama’s attempt at discrediting the NDAA by insisting that he would not use it against American citizens came only as a precursor to the latest Act. By adding his signing statement to the NDAA, the president insured that legislation such as the Enemy Expatriation Act would surface to strike any limitations that would have kept Americans free from military detainment. “I hope I’m wrong, but it sounds to me like this is a loophole for indefinitely detaining Americans,” Stephen . Foster, Jr. writes on the AddictionInfo.org website. “Once again, you just have to be accused of supporting hostilities which could be defined any way the government sees fit. Then the government can strip your citizenship and apply the indefinite detention section of the NDAA without the benefit of a trial.”

The bill, currently being passed through Congress, is sponsored by Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Charles Dent (R-PA).

Chile’s Desaparecidos and Obama’s NDAA

Investigative journalists in Chile have uncovered a number of previously unreported political executions under General Pinochet’s reign of terror, including the execution of the Nobel Prize-winning poet Pablo Neruda.

Investigative journalists at ArchivosChile patched together files from the Legal Medical Service, the General Cemetery, the Civil Registry and the Military Prosecutors. They discovered 890 politically motivated deaths between Sept. 11 and the end of December 1973, according to the Santiago Times.

Chile’s bloody coup was planned and orchestrated by the CIA after the Chilean people made the mistake of democratically electing a socialist, Salvador Allende. It was later revealed that then president Nixon had ordered the CIA to “make the economy scream” in Chile to “prevent Allende from coming to power or to unseat him.”

Henry Kissinger, then Secretary of State, played an instrumental role in the coup. He chaired the 40 Committee, a high-level enter agency group, that ordered the CIA to destabilize the country and plot a military coup installing a military dictatorship that lasted 17 years.

“The issues are much too important for the Chilean voters to be left to decide for themselves,” he said at the time. “I don’t see why we need to stand by and watch a country go communist due to the irresponsibility of its people.”

Following the coup and the murder of Allende, Pinochet and his military created DINA, the Dirección de Inteligencia Nacional. DINA served as the primary secret police organization for political repression in Chile under the military dictatorship.

DINA not only tortured political opponents, but also assassinated them. In 1976, working with the CIA, the French OAS and the Italian fascist terrorist Stefano Delle Chiaie, DINA assassinated former Chilean minister Orlando Letelier and American political activist Ronni Moffitt in Washington, DC.

Pinochet’s regime also initiated Operation Condor, a program for the joint monitoring and assassinating of dissident refugees in much of Latin America. Operation Condor was given tacit approval by the United States and resulted in the murder of thousands of activists, including an estimated 30,000 socialists, trade-unionists, and relatives of activists in Argentina.

The United States now has its own version of Operation Condor under the National Defense Authorization Act, signed into law on December 31, 2011 by Obama. In addition to issuing a carte blanche to indefinitely detain citizens – in Chile, they are called the desaparecidos, the disappeared – the legislation reinstates “enhanced interrogation techniques,” i.e., torture. It compliments an earlier decision that Americans are legitimate military targets and may be assassinated – as cleric Anwar al-Awlaki allegedly was – on orders of an executive branch that has since the Bush years increasingly resembled an imperial presidency.

“The Bush regime operated as if the Constitution did not exist. Any semblance of constitutional government that remained after the Bush years was terminated when Congress passed and President Obama signed the National Defense Authorization Act,” writes Paul Craig Roberts today.

We now live in a military dictatorship little different than the one that ruled Chile. As of yet, the military is not “disappearing” Americans in large numbers and herding them into sports stadiums little different than the National Stadium in Santiago where 40,000 political prisoners were detained under Pinochet’s CIA-enabled reign of terror.

How long before the military in America sets up its own Caravan of Death – a notorious roving death squad in Chile – or establishes counterparts to Colonia Dignidad, the ship Esmeralda or numerous other torture and execution centers in Chile?

We are one false flag terror attack away from a full-blown Chile-style police state. The establishment media assures us the next attack will not come from al-Qaeda cave dwellers, but rather domestic “extremists” and “lone wolf” terrorists.

The Department of Homeland Security and the globalists at the Council on Foreign Relations assure us that the coming terror will resemble Oklahoma City in 1995 – in other words it will be perpetuated by “rightwing extremists,” defined by the DHS, MIAC and “fusion centers” around the country as returning veterans, Second Amendment activists, constitutionalists and Ron Paul supporters.

Following that event, the police state apparatus the state has meticulously crafted over the last twenty years will be put into full motion and it will make anything Pinochet and his military did to the people of Chile pale in comparison.

Forget Muslim Arab Terrorists: America’s Enemy Is Being Rebranded

President Obama’s recent decision to re-focus U.S. military power away from Iraq and Afghanistan to the Asia-Pacific region and, to a lesser extent, Africa, means that China and certain rebel groups in Africa have replaced the old contrived bogeyman of Osama bin Laden’s “Al Qaeda” at the top of Uncle Sam’s “Most Wanted List.” Of course, the change in the Pentagon’s strategy has nothing to do with reality but is yet another attempt by the imperialists who dominate both duopolistic U.S. political parties – the Democrats and Republicans – to advance American hegemony around the world. The major U.S. strategic goal is to pre-empt the rise of new superpowers, especially China.

Obama and his generals and admirals are emulating the fictitious leaders of Oceania in George Orwell’s famed classic “1984” about a dystopian future world, By switching enemies mid-stream from “Al Qaeda” in south Asia and the Middle East to China in East Asia, Obama, like Oceania’s “Big Brother” propaganda structure, is saying “We have always been at war with Eastasia.” In this case, just as in “1984,” Eastasia largely comprised China. But “1984” is a novel and was never intended by Orwell to serve as a Pentagon planning document. Or, perhaps Orwell had a crystal ball and foresaw just how dystopian the world would actually become under a charismatic “Big Brother” American president.

Although Obama continues to rattle sabers at Iran and he may, in order to neutralize the pro-Israeli war hawks in the Republican Party, covertly or overtly support an Anglo-Israeli-French military operation directed at Iran during the presidential campaign, it is China that is now the major focus of a changing American military posture.

Obama has reacted to China’s commercial moves into Afghanistan by agreeing to talk to the Afghan Taliban, even permitting them to open a diplomatic office in Qatar, the home to America’s large Al-Udeid airbase and a country that is a short boat ride away from the U.S. Navy’s Fifth Fleet base in Bahrain.

Obama’s decision to establish five bases in Australia and station as many as 2500 U.S. Marines in northern Australia is part of the new military policy aimed at China. The new Pentagon policy is also aimed at fighting military cyber-attacks and China has been accused by a number of U.S. military and intelligence agencies of being behind multiple cyber-attacks on U.S. government and corporate computer systems and networks. It is noteworthy that while the U.S. ramps up its military assets against China, two of its East Asian allies – Japan and South Korea – have stated that they do not intend to abide by western oil sanctions imposed against Iran. The diplomatic paradox the United States finds itself in as it transitions from a Middle East-centric to an Asia-Pacific-centric military strategy is striking.

The appearance of George Soros non-governmental organization (NGO)-backed “themed revolutions” in Indonesia and Malaysia, two nations that are rich in natural gas and oil resources but which have maintained relatively friendly relations with China, indicates that the U.S. is looking at expanding its list of allies in the Asia-Pacific zone. The nationalist tendencies of Indonesian President Susilo Bambamg Yudhoyono and Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak have been a stumbling block for U.S. geo-political designs in the region. The appearance of the “Sandal Revolution” in Indonesia targeting endemic corruption in the courts and political system, coupled with the acquittal on sodomy charges of Malaysian opposition leader Anwar Ibrahim opens the way for a further coalescing of opposition forces in both nations. The opposition Bersih movement in Malaysia, funded with dollars from the “democracy engineers” of the neocon-riddled U.S. National Endowment for Democracy, has chosen yellow for its revolution. In Myanmar, or Burma, the NED and Soros operatives are active for another round of the Saffron Revolution.

One of the major problems for the United States has been the refusal of Malaysia and Indonesia to establish diplomatic relations with Israel, always a center piece for the Israel-centric foreign policy operatives in both Democratic and Republican administrations.

In Africa, the U.S. is also engaged in a major shift in its military strategy to prop up corrupt regimes like that of Nigeria, Kenya, and the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and dictatorships like those of Ethiopia, Uganda, Rwanda, Djibouti, and Equatorial Guinea. The recent decision by Nigeria’s western bank servant, President Goodluck Jonathan, to cancel fuel subsidies under pressure form the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in a country rich in oil has resulted in a popular revolt. Nigeria had already seen a rise in violence by a group seen as a follow-on Islamist replacement for “Al Qaeda,” the Boko Haram, a group founded in 2002 that was opposed to western education. “Boko” is Hausa for “western education” and Haram is Arabic for “sin.” In 2009, the group, which has no real centralized structure and may be yet another contrivances dreamed up by western intelligence agencies intent on breaking up Nigeria as they are doing in Sudan and DRC, embarked on militant Islamist terrorist violence mostly aimed at Christians and the Nigerian government. In fact, the hybrid name “Boko Haram” may have been conceived by some British MI-6 devotee of the British rock band Procol Harum.

Obama’s decision to shift most of America’s military focus to East Asia with a smaller but no less determined effort in Africa means that the U.S. Navy and Air Force will see budget increases for their Asia-Pacific and Africa theaters of operation, while the U.S. Army will see a decrease in funding as the United States relies more on unmanned drone, manned fighter aircraft and logistics aircraft, and U.S. Marine and Special Operations expeditionary force naval vessels to carry out military insertions from the South China Sea to the Gulf of Guinea.

The playbook being used in Southeast Asia and Africa is the same. George Soros, who runs a multi-billion hedge fund front for the trillionaire Rothschild banking cartel, moves into a targeted country with “democracy” street action provocateurs; bought-and-paid for local journalists, bloggers, and tweeters; and election engineers. Soon, a symbol or color – rose, tulip. lotus, cedar, olive tree, saffron, jasmine, orange, Facebook, Twitter, orange, green, yellow, purple, or white – is chosen and the themed revolution is given a name, a name that is uniformly used and hyped by the corporate media around the world from Al Jazeera and Fox News to the Washington Post and Le Monde. In Indonesia, it is the used sandal, which is being deposited at police stations and government offices, that has been adopted as the theme for the western-directed revolution. In Malaysia, it is the color yellow. In Nigeria, there has not yet been an agreement on whether to call it the cassava or yam revolution. Yams are too closely identified with the rebellious Christian Igbo of the south, a people who have been fighting the despoliation of their lands by oil companies like Shell.

In any event, under the new Obama military strategy, U.S. service personnel government-issued coffins will continue to arrive at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. The only difference will be that there will be more Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Special Forces bodies than those from the ranks of the Army. In Obama’s America, just consider it a “stimulus package” for the sailors, airmen, Marines, and the special forces.

Several warnings of an imminent “false flag” attack by the Israeli-influenced United States on one of its own warships, which will be attributed to Iran, have been reported by several reliable sources. In recent years “false-flag” terrorism has been utilized multiple times by US and Israeli political actors to provide pretexts for otherwise unjustifiable, anti-Islamic military excursions. The plan is to justify an all-out assault on Iran based upon a new fabricated “Pearl Harbor”.

Israel is the primary motivator behind the attempts to destabilize Iran. US traditional foreign policy was one of attempting to foster stability in the Middle East for oil markets. The Zionist impulse, conversely, is to destabilize all potential regional hegemons and carve the Middle East up into ethno-religious statelets. Thus, since the fraudulent events of 9/11, we’ve seen a policy of Middle East disintegration being pursued by Israeli-influenced American politicians. Indeed, recently released CIA memos reveal that Mossad agents have been posing as CIA agents and conscripting anti-Iranian terrorists.

Former Israeli intelligence officer, Avi Perry, startlingly wrote in a January 9th Jerusalem Post article of a forthcoming “ ‘Pearl Harbor’ scenario, in which Iran [will] launch…a “surprise” attack on the US navy,” giving the US “the perfect rationalization to finish them [Iran] off.” Tellingly, Perry chose to put the word “surprise” in quotation marks. Is Perry telling us something?

Perry asserts: “[an] Iranian attack on an American military vessel will serve as a justification and a pretext for a retaliatory move by the US military against the Iranian regime.” However, Perry identifies “a US aircraft carrier” as the likely target of this imagined Iranian attack.

We beg to differ. There are major indications that the vessel of choice is to be the USS Vincennes. The fourth USS Vincennes (CG-49) is a US Navy Ticonderoga class Aegis guided missile cruiser. On July 3, 1988, the ship shot down Iran Air Flight 655 over the Persian Gulf, killing all 290 civilian passengers on board, including 38 non-Iranians and 66 children.

This would be an ideal vessel for the staged provocation as it could be easily sold to the world as having been Iranian retribution for the 1988 downing of Flight 655. That way the evident lack of motive for Iran to provoke the US and Israeli military titans will be replaced by a perceived “motive.” No one will stop to ask themselves why Iran would thereby invite its own national annihilation.

If we were to believe the Wikipedia version of history, the Vincennes has already been scrapped. The Wikipedia article for the Vincennes states, “The Vincennes was completely scrapped by 23 November 2011.” If that were true it could not be used as the target of this “false-flag” attack. Yet we have photographic and testimonial evidence suggesting otherwise.

A reliable source interviewed by one of us has brought us up to speed on the latest developments:

“We now know what that INACTIVE Ticonderoga class AEGIS missile cruiser got towed out of here under cover of darkness for. It’ll likely be the sacrificial lamb that starts the war with Iran….

“Why else would they move it when all the rest sit at a buoy here for months before they finally leave to be sunk?

“I told this to a former 9/11 Truth person back when that ship got moved that it was likely to be used for a FALSE FLAG attack. Well, we’ll soon see if I was right about this one.”

Since the ship left Puget Sound in the dead of night about two months ago, it’s most probable location today is at the 5th Fleet Headquarters in Bahrain for safe keeping until the time comes for its deployment. The ship would have been refurbished and repainted and provided with remote control capabilities.

“That is the only location in the region outside of Haifa Harbor where she could probably be at least partially concealed by cocooning the superstructure to make it less obvious who she is. Meanwhile, the US Navy is compiling a list of casualties based upon deceased sailors, very much as was the case on 9/11,” we were advised.

Former Israeli false-flag attacks, such as on the USS Liberty in 1967, and the Argentine attacks in 1992 and in 1994, demonstrate Israel’s willingness to attack US targets, on the one hand, and its own people, on the other. It’s highly probable that, having shipped the Vincennes into an acceptable location, that the Mossad, which has also been implicated in the events of 9/11, would do the rest of the dirty work. Or the United States, which has become Israel’s lackey, might blow up one of its own ships, which would be a literal and a figurative sign of how low the US has sunk.

“As a Marine Corps officer, I swore an oath to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States from all enemies, foreign and domestic”, Jim Fetzer observes. “Neither I nor any other officer I know ever swore allegiance to the State of Israel. Our leaders are not only betraying our own Constitution but have turned our nation into a servant of an unworthy, brutal and tyrannical master, who couldn’t care less about the best interests of American citizens–and our own leaders not only permit this to happen but actually promote it.”

In light of recent “deep political events” in Iran, including the recent murder of Iranian nuclear physicist Professor Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan, it would not be surprising if the US and Israel were to raise the ante by implementing a fraudulent trigger incident, which may very well ignite World War III.

Because of the pervasiveness of US-Israeli deceptions, an increasing number of public intellectuals are awakening to the prospect of these fraudulent events BEFORE THEY HAPPEN, as appears to be the case with this initiative. We can’t be certain about all of this, because we are on the outside, looking in. Perhaps the USS Vincennes actually has been scrapped. But on this point the world can rest assured: they haven’t scrapped the plan!
