   Sometimes seeing all of the numbers at once can be a bit overwhelming, so this chart breaks out the number of month of inventory of single family homes for sale in each city:

   

   Not surprising the cities with the highest price tags, Cambridge and Winchester, have the most number of months of inventory already on the market. Looking at months of inventory help you really narrow in on what’s happening in a real estate market because it factors in demand, not just numbers of homes for sale or average days on the market.

Did you know:
   • No Rooster Necessary - Hens do not need a rooster in order to lay eggs. You only need a rooster if you want fertilized eggs to raise more chicks, so you can have fresh eggs without annoying all of your neighbors!
   • Chicken Wire Won’t Work - Yes, you read that right! Although chicken wire will keep your chickens in their pen, the spaces are too large to keep many predators out, so you need to use hardware cloth to protect your flock instead.
   • You Can’t Keep Chickens In The City - Another fallacy! After hearing about people in Brooklyn raising chickens on NPR and reading about it on the Arlington and Medford Yahoo Groups, we’ve decided it’s time to get our flock.
