Pentax has back by introducing its next generation of Optio WG-1, the Optio WG-2. The Pentax Optio WG-2 Rugged Digital Camera’s looks alone makes it tough already. Olympus unveils SZ-31MR camera: 16 megapixels, 24x optical zoom

Olympus has just announced the launch of its new Olympus SZ-31MR iHS camera. Packing the same 16-megapixel backlit sensor as its predecessor, as well as an identical 24x (25-600mm) optical zoom, the SZ-31MR also has a new image processor – the dual engine TruePic V. It gives it better low-light performance on top of improving camera speed and image processing. Amongst other traits, the device is packing a 3-inch (920,000-dot) LCD, 6400 ISO and 1080p video capture at 30fps. Olympus OM-D E-M5 specifications has leaked, thanks to Photo Rumors and Four Thirds Rumors. The camera will sport a 16.1megapixel EDR CMOS with an ISO range of up to 25,600, a 5-axis image stabilization, enhanced autofocus alongside a 9fps burst mode. While, Amazon listing pointed out a 1.44-megapixel electronic viewfinder, a tiltable OLED display on back and a total weight of 454 grams with its kit lens attached. The specs, which includes a magnesium body, weight 373 grams (body only)and comes in black or silver color. The camera should be announced on February 8th, 2012 and the US price is expected to be around $1,100.00

ViewSonic, well known of provider of computing and consumer electronics, introduces a new generation of LED monitor, the VX2336s-LED. Sprint has just informed the launch of the ZTE Optik, a new entry-level 7-inch tablet with Android 3.2 Honeycomb. Sprint’s ZTE Optik is going to be coming with some pretty impressive specifications considering the price and its specification. You’ll be able to get a ZTE Optik for $99.99 with a two-year service agreement. If you want to get one sans contract, you’ll have to shell out $349.99. The Optik rocks a 7 inch display with a 1280 x 800 resolution, a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon processor, a full 1GB of RAM, 5 megapixel rear camera, 2 megapixel front-facing camera, and 16GB of storage, GPS, Bluetooth and a 4,000 mAh battery. Sadly, the Optik only supports CDMA or Wi-Fi connections, so it won’t be able to take advantage of Sprint’s current 4G WiMAX network or its upcoming 4G LTE network.

7-inch ZTE Optik 3G tablet available starting Feb. 5 from Sprint Stores and online. For Sprint customers that want an affordable 7-inch tablet with a data plan, the ZTE Optik is a pretty reasonable deal. Nikon has just unleashed their digital camera, the Coolpix P510 and the Coolpix P310. Despite being smaller than most bridge cameras, the 16-megapixel P510 sports an astonishing 42x optical zoom lens – that means a focal length range of 24mm to 1000mm as well as tiltable 921K-dot LCD monitor. The P510 uses Vibration Reduction (VR) image stabilization to keep shots steady at the higher-end of zoom, with 5fps burst shooting and integrated GPS. Shuttle has just announced its new top-of-the-range XPC Barebone model SZ68R5. Despite its small size, the unit can house a fully-fledged desktop system and can accommodate a maximum of two 3.5-inch drives and one 5.35-inch drive. Sony has announced a new launch bundle of the PS VITA for the 3G/WiFi model. Previously, the PS Vita was available in three different packages: The wifi model, the 3G model, and the first edition bundle. The bundle, that is already available for preorder on Amazon (that will upgrade all the previous preorders of the 3G/Wi-Fi model to this bundle) still costs $299.99. According to a statement on the PlayStation Blog, a new PlayStation Vita 3G/Wi-Fi bundle at launch includes an 8GB Vita memory card, an AT&T DataConnect Pass good for one free 250MB session and a code to download a free game from the PSN
