Mirror Reply: Why you fool, your looking at bankrupt "Socialists Greece". You know, the "Progressive Socialist" country, that the government employs thirty to forty percent of their population. And indirectly about thirty percent more. Get it, the government workers collecting pay checks that are then taxed by the Government, and in turn the Greek Government pays the government workers. Sounds real silly, doesn't it?

Just a few years from now! ... The United States of America will find itself "The new leader of the 'Progressive Socialists' in the World". Remember people, America, always does things the very best when we Americans put our minds and hearts into it!

Definition of Progressive Socialists ... A free country that progressively (slowly) gives up it's rights and freedoms for a government that is in complete control of it's population. You know, like the frog that finds itself cooked to death without any fight, because the cool water in the cooking pot seemed okay to swim in. Even when the water got warm in the cooking pot it still seemed okay, however when the temperature got to boiling ... IT WAS TOO LATE.

Question: Who Am I?

Answer: Frustrated American Citizen! Why? ... Because of all the political things that are happening in this country today.

I often think of my ancestors, as having the 'good life' working the farms and digging in copper mines. However I suppose the argument would be ... maybe they had a "Simple Life" but not the "Good Life".

At sixty four years old, should I be thinking about 'just me'? or should I be thinking about my country? With these basic questions, I need a simple answer.

If it is all about me, should I give a 'Rip' about this country?

Well consider this "I Am This Country"! I have worked hard for a lot of years to support (paying taxes and voting) this countries agenda (FREEDOM) and now it feels like the country is turning on me. You know! Like deteriorating, right in front of me! This is extremely frustrating!

Can this country, The United States of America, ever go back to the "simple life"? and still be the "Greatest Country in the World"? Supporting the principals of "Freedom - Constitution - Bill of Rights, for the people"!

We need politicians that stick to the original written rules and not bending the rules of The United States Constitution.

In addition, the often radical interpretation of these original rules (The Constitution of The United States of America) by the Supreme Court and with the support of the politicians further disrupt our "Freedom".

Many Washington politicians including the President have expressed that the Constitution of the United States of America is a living thing and it should evolve to fit the times. Now! If that bothers you, we are getting somewhere.

This country needs to return to a "Conservative Country". Without a doubt, The United States of America, is the most FREE in the world. Freedom to do what you want and to be what you want. However the 'FREE' ironically comes at a price.

Today, in this complex world the principals that go with "Freedom" are loosing ground. People are not paying attention to the cost of freedom.

Politicians today are "selling out" the American Citizens. That's because the American Citizens are not paying attention to how Politicians are passing bills. Passing bills today, do two things, Regulate (Control of your life) and spend money (Taxing You). "Total control of your life". Now! If this bothers you ... We are really getting somewhere.

So if you understand this so far ... It won't be hard to understand the incredible control of all aspects of the "American Population". Soon, we will be considered a flock of sheep, with multiple Shepard's (Our Washington Politicians). I personally want to call this control "Socialists Control" however a different and growing interpretation is ... "Progressive". The definition of a "Progressive Agenda" is socialism that eats away at freedom one "Freedom" at a time. Not in a big hurry, only the big goal in focus "Socialism".

In the "Progressive" time, we as American Citizens, will not have a vote? Just a radical thought!

I don't know if there is enough American Citizens out there in The United States of America today, that could band together with a 'radical' simple agenda? ... Washington, give us back the America that our founding fathers put together with the "Constitution of the United States of America"?

Washington ... Give us back the "Constitution of The United States of America".

Celebrating A Real American Hero ... No Thanks To The American Media!

There was a time in American history when the general population celebrated military heroes. Now the media "labels" way too many heroes. The youth do not idolize military heroes because they never hear the stories. Our youth now watch reality TV and idolizes sex, money, and material possessions. I would like to offer, that the only ones to blame are the parents, and that includes me. (Jon R.)

It is never too late to start.

A Real Hero story, about Ed Freeman. Not motivated by money or fame, but rather by the love of his fellow soldier.

Ed Freeman had real values.

Ed Freeman is a true "American Hero!"

Story told by soldier: You're a 19 year old kid. You're critically wounded and dying in the jungle in la Drang Valley on 11-14-1965, Vietnam. Your infantry unit is outnumbered eight to one, and the enemy fire is so intense, from one hundred to two hundred yards away, that your own Infantry Commander has ordered the MedeVac helicopters to stop coming in.

You're lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns and you know you're not getting out. Your family is half way around the world, 12,000 miles away, and you'll never going to see them again. As the world starts to fade in and out, you know this is the day.

Then, over the machine gun noise, you faintly hear that sound of a helicopter!

You look up to see an unarmed "Huey" (helicopter)! But ... it doesn't seem real because no MedeVac markings are on it.

Ed Freeman is coming for you!

He's not a MedeVac, so it's not his job, but he's flying his Huey down into the machine gun fire anyway, even after the MedeVac were ordered not to come. He's coming anyway!

Ed Freeman drops it in and sits there in the machine gun fire, as they load two or three soldiers on board.. Then he flies you up and out through the gunfire to the Doctors and Nurses.
Ed Freeman kept coming back! Thirteen more times! Ed Freeman flew about thirty soldiers out of a combat zone, soldiers that would never have gotten out.

Medal of Honor Recipient, Ed Freeman, died last Wednesday at the age of 80 in Boise, Idaho.
May God Rest His Soul ...

I bet you didn't hear about this hero's passing, but we've sure seen a whole bunch about Tiger Woods! Sad Isn't It?

Freeman's official Medal of Honor citation reads:

Captain Ed W. Freeman, United States Army, distinguished himself by numerous acts of conspicuous gallantry and extraordinary intrepidity on 14 November 1965 while serving with Company A, 229th Assault Helicopter Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division (Airmobile). As a flight leader and second in command of a 16-helicopter lift unit, he supported a heavily engaged American infantry battalion at Landing Zone X-Ray in the Ia Drang Valley, Republic of Vietnam. The unit was almost out of ammunition after taking some of the heaviest casualties of the war, fighting off a relentless attack from a highly motivated, heavily armed enemy force. When the infantry commander closed the helicopter landing zone due to intense direct enemy fire, Captain Freeman risked his own life by flying his unarmed helicopter through a gauntlet of enemy fire time after time, delivering critically needed ammunition, water and medical supplies to the besieged battalion. His flights had a direct impact on the battle's outcome by providing the engaged units with timely supplies of ammunition critical to their survival, without which they would almost surely have gone down, with much greater loss of life. After medical evacuation helicopters refused to fly into the area due to intense enemy fire, Captain Freeman flew 14 separate rescue missions, providing life-saving evacuation of an estimated 30 seriously wounded soldiers -- some of whom would not have survived had he not acted. All flights were made into a small emergency landing zone within 100 to 200 meters of the defensive perimeter where heavily committed units were perilously holding off the attacking elements. Captain Freeman's selfless acts of great valor, extraordinary perseverance and intrepidity were far above and beyond the call of duty or mission and set a superb example of leadership and courage for all of his peers. Captain Freeman's extraordinary heroism and devotion to duty are in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit upon himself, his unit and the United States Army.
