People live in rural areas and town areas now trying to use gas for their daily needs. They face lot of problems when they using gas. This problem highly effect to the poor people and business people. Reason for this is their income is not enough for their needs.</p>

<p><strong>2.  Story &#8211; Up going Electricity bills</strong><br />
Electricity is one of main need of people. Electricity power mostly invention for diesel in the present. Government saying they have to increase electricity bill because of this situation. People saying this is big problem for them.</p>

<p><strong>3.  Village Profile &#8211; Gangodagama</strong><br />
Gangodagama village is originating from King Detutissa&#8217;s control period. People in that village said few villages join as a one village and it&#8217;s called Gangodagama. About 1200 families live in this village. Their main livelihood is agriculture.</p>

I.       Start a garbage project in Matara Kekanadura.<br />
II.     Develop the war ground as a sports ground in Balapitiya.<br />

IV.  People in Kamburupitiya Hakmana area fecing difficulties, because no buses running in the night time.<br />
V.    Program started to donate blood for soldiers.</p>
<p><strong>4. Fix-it (Didn&#8217;t pay compensations to shops which was destroyed by the fire)</strong><br />
Lot of shops in Kamburupitiya completely destroyed by a sudden fire happen near the petrol shed in Kamburupitiya on 08th December 2007. Government minister&#8217;s promise to give compensations for shop owners, but it didn&#8217;t happen yet. They request from ministers to pay their compensation quickly.</p>

Madukanda, Mawaduwa, Nelumkulama villages situated from 8 KMs far from Vavuniya town. Sinhala people live in these villages. This Sinhala people live very closely with other Tamil people before. But today we can&#8217;t see that co-operation between them, because of the war.  </p>

Women&#8217;s always try to maintain their family in a good way. But there are so many women&#8217;s without a family life. These women&#8217;s trying to live in success way, but because of the social exorbitances and different kind of incidents they have to work as prostitutes, labors, drug dealers and etc. They have to face lot of troubles in the prisons also. In this situation they have lot of mentally stress.</p>
<p>Voice: Women&#8217;s who are doing prostitution, Small business women&#8217;s, Displaced women&#8217;s, Mrs. Chandrakanthi Weerasinghe &#8211; Co-coordinating Officer, Kantha Pihita Institute</p>

Young generation have to lot of troubles and difficulties in the present. If they got good education it&#8217;s difficult to find a good job for them. Do our younger generation can or not win the job world through this vocational training centers and technical colleges? </p>

World is now become as a global village. People celebrating so many things in specific dates. For a example, October 1st &#8211; world children&#8217;s and elders day, May 1st &#8211; May day, March 8th &#8211; Women&#8217;s day. 14th February valentine day is another specific date for people. Specially lovers celebrating this day. But some people in Asian and middle-east countries they don&#8217;t like to celebrate this. Different people giving different ideas about the valentine day.</p>

Hikkaduwa is very famous for corel reef and also famous for tourist industry. We can see curious corallums and different kind of fishes in this area. But now these corallums begin to destroy because of people&#8217;s Carelessness.</p>

In Sri Lanka there are lots of private and government institutes to provide good service for people. There are some different and equal things in these two sections. But some people say mostly they have to face difficulties when they go to government institutes to get government services. People say they face these problems because no diligent in government institutes.</p>
