10 Years of FRIENDS TV Show

Friends is an American situation comedy created by David Crane and Marta Kauffman, which premiered on NBC (National Broadcasting Company) on September 22, 1994. The series revolved around a group of friends in the area of Manhattan, New York City, who occasionally live together and share living expenses/experiences/tragedies. The series was produced by Bright/Kauffman/Crane Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television. The original executive producers were Crane, Kauffman and Kevin Bright, with numerous others being promoted in later seasons. I saw this amazing show very late. It has full ten seasons with lots of episodes and it played for ten years. I have posted some videos related to this and audio songs which I liked. The whole show is full of fun.

The comedy is good throughout this show. Chandler gets the most votes if you ask me. Best couple was Chandler and Monica. Rest of the show is kind of bizarre where everybody is dating with every other person and they all breaking up and matching up back, its almost like changing clothes. If you ask me, I have never seen American life for real. I have never been there. They start the process from the opposite side. From the end. First date, then sex then definitely breakup without ever reaching to the marriage. Every character wants sex every day with different partner. Who gets who and who gets how many!!! Its all confusing. The show reveals it all. Its kind of funny that they are afraid of marriage and serious relationship. Americans freak out when it comes to marriage (I might be wrong, correct me here). But the sex, and with different people — No Big Deal.

In most of Asian countries. First there is a brief meet up, followed by marriage, then sex and then same life with same partner and you can’t escape that. We marry once in life and stay with our partner in common cases. That’s very easy here. Let’s assume that in the show, its for fun sake and is a part of comedy. I would not recommend any western woman to marry any Asian guy (in hope that he would never leave) though. He will not remain with her for life. Because he knows about west culture. And in the case he has seen this kind of show, he knows very well. Anyways, Rachal’s character was the ugliest most: A perfect idiot blond who is full of herself. Hateable character. Ross was stupid, gutless person. Phoebe was a lovable character. Some events in the show were remarkable. e.g. Friendship between Chandler and Joey and jokes between them.

Ohh! I love this game. This is how the world can be a little more better place. Its an idea actually. A campaign across the world by nice people. Sometimes A Hug is all we need. The Free Hugs Campaign is a social movement involving individuals who offer hugs to strangers in public places. The campaign in its present form was started in 2004 by an Australian man known only by the pseudonym “Juan Mann”. The campaign became famous internationally in 2006 as the result of a music video on YouTube by the Australian band Sick Puppies. The hugs are meant to be random acts of kindness - purportedly selfless acts performed by a person for the sole reason of making others feel better. International Free Hugs Day is celebrated on the first Saturday of July (on July 4 in 2009). Watch videos relating to ‘Free Hugs’ from around the world.

The GT by Citroën (sometimes spelled GTbyCitroën) was a concept car that debuted on October 2 at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The car is a collaboration between the French automaker Citroën and the Japanese racing simulation developer Polyphony Digital. Citroen GT made heads turn when appeared on the Streets of London. It’s a Super Car with very much innovative design which makes Lamborghini look like an old cart.

If there are Love, Wealth and Success, which one would you choose? Following short story might help.

A woman came out of her house and saw three old men with long white beards sitting in her front yard.
She did not recognize them. She said “I don’t think I know you, but you must be hungry. Please come in and have something to eat .”
“Is the man of the house home?” they asked..
“No”, she replied. “He’s out.”
“Then we cannot come in”, they replied..
In the evening when her husband came home, she told him what had happened.
“Go tell them I am home and invite them in..”
The woman went out and invited the men in.
“We do not go into a House together!” they replied..
“Why is that?” she asked..

One of the old men explained: “His name is Wealth,” he said as pointing to one of his friends, and said, pointing to another one, “He is Success, and I am Love.” Then he added, “Now go in and discuss with your husband which one of us you want in your home.”
The woman went in and told her husband what was said.
Her husband was overjoyed.
“How nice!” he said. “Since that is the case, let us invite Wealth. Let him come and fill our home with wealth!”
His wife disagreed. “My dear, why don’t we invite Success?”
Their daughter-in-law was listening from the other corner of the house.
She jumped in with her own suggestion: “Would it not be better to invite Love? Our home will then be filled with love.”
“Let us heed our daughter-in-law’s advice,” said the husband to his wife!
“Go out and invite Love to be our guest..”
The woman went out and asked the three old men, “Which one of you is Love? Please come in and be our guest.”
Love got up and started walking toward the house.
The other two also got up and followed him .
Surprised, the lady asked Wealth and Success: “I only invited Love; Why are you coming in?”
The old men replied together: “If you had invited Wealth or Success, the other two of us would’ve stayed out;
but since you invited Love, wherever he goes, we go with him. Wherever there is Love, there is also Wealth and Success.”

Another Mystery Revealed - The Stig Unmasked

He is a part human, part machine. We don’t know its name, nobody knows its name. it’s a racing driver.” The Stig have a very small brain, worthless opinions, and a disorder “Mansell Syndrome”. Its job description is to “just go out there and drive fast”. He doesn’t speak. Some say he’s a CIA experiment gone wrong.

To viewers of Top Gear, the Stig is a mystery - part man, part machine with his face always hidden by a helmet. Speculating on the identity of the driver, who posts lap times for cars being reviewed and trains celebrities to race round a circuit, has become part of the BBC2 show’s mythology. The Stig is the name given to the racing driver on the BBC show Top Gear. In the show he is cast as a mysterious “tame racing driver”. The Stig’s primary functions on the show are to post lap times in various cars around the Top Gear Test Track in Dunsfold Park, and to train each week’s guest in setting a lap time in the Star in a Reasonably-Priced Car feature on the show. In addition the Stig carries out other driving duties when the need arises. The Stig has also appeared on some of Jeremy Clarkson’s motoring specials, such as Heaven and Hell and Thriller. There had been two stigs yet. The Black Stig who was killed and the White Stig. The first Stig wore black overalls and helmet. It was introduced in the first episode of the current format by Jeremy Clarkson as the resident test driver, as the presenters could not consistently post fast times themselves. Clarkson noted that “we don’t know its name, we really don’t know its name, nobody knows its name, and we don’t wanna know, cause it’s a racing driver.” Clarkson then described the Stig as having a very small brain, worthless opinions, and a disorder described by Clarkson as “Mansell Syndrome”. Its job description was to “just go out there and drive fast”. Black Stig posted a lap time of 1:46 for the Star in a Reasonably-Priced Car segment. This Stig was used for the first two series of the show. It was then “killed off” at the start of the third series when he was shown driving a modified Jaguar XJ-S off the flight deck of HMS Invincible during a stunt and landing in the sea.

Some say that this was purely a stunt and not the reality. Some say it was true.

After the Black Stig was “killed off”, a new “White Stig” was introduced, wearing white overalls and helmet. White Stig has been featured in the show beyond just the Power Lap segment. His work has included driving cars in other segments of the show, and racing against the hosts. He has also been recruited to undertake other tests. White Stig has also appeared outside Top Gear in some of Clarkson’s motoring specials, such as 2005’s Heaven and Hell, 2006’s The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, 2007’s Supercar Showdown, and 2008’s Thriller. The Stig also collected Top Gear’s third award for Best factual programme at the 2008 British National Television Awards. The Stig did not speak, but supplied an acceptance letter from the rest of the crew, read out by Griff Rhys Jones. White Stig posted the fastest lap time of 1:44.4 around the Top Gear test track for the Star in a Reasonably-Priced Car segment. In the first episode of the thirteenth season of Top Gear, White Stig unveiled his helmet to reveal himself as Michael Schumacher.

But many say that Micheal Schumacher is not the Stig. Some day that there is more than one stig.

The Stig’s fastest official lap time around the Top Gear test track was 1 minute 10.7 seconds in a Ferrari FXX. Faster times had previously been posted in a Renault F1 car (0.59.0), an Aston Martin DBR9 (1.08.6) and a Caparo T1 (1:10.6), but the times of these cars were not included on the Lap Board because they were either not deemed street-practical due to their inability to navigate UK regulation speed bumps, or because they could not be purchased by the public. The previous fastest lap prior to the FXX was in a Gumpert Apollo (1.17.1).

White Stig was apparently revealed to be Michael Schumacher after setting a record Power Lap time of 1m10.7s in the Ferrari fxx. Up until this point the Stig’s true identity had never been revealed on the show. In order to maintain the secrecy, all shots show him wearing full Alpinestars racing overalls and matching Simpson Diamondback helmet. All that can be seen from the gap between his helmet and jumpsuit is that he is a white male with dark hair. It is also known that he wears Size 10 racing boots as discovered by the Sunday Times and a well-timed camera flash managed to show The Stig’s eyes by Auto Trader. Although the Stig does talk with celebrities while preparing them for their “Star in a Reasonably Priced Car” lap times, he is almost never shown talking on screen, and in both the programme and Top Gear magazine articles he is portrayed as unable or unwilling to talk. Clarkson has written that the Stig is not permitted to talk on screen because “any opinion he might voice on cars would be rubbish”, though he has been caught speaking on camera. The identity of Black Stig was revealed to be Perry McCarthy when his book Flat Out, Flat Broke was published in 2002. McCarthy is a former Formula One driver and test driver for the Benetton, Arrows and Williams teams, and also tested for BMW F1.

Blood Type A - Tend to be cooperative, sensitive, clever, passionate and smart. Often bottling up anxiety in order to get along with others, they may hold in their emotions until they explode. Many are tense, impatient and unable to sleep well. While they are capable of leadership positions, they may not take them because the stress is not good for their tightly wired systems. In Japan many “A”’s are in research. They have roles in discovering more about and refining science, economics, manufacturing, etc. Their research on microflora and other areas of medicine is some of the best and most meticulous in the world. They are perfectionists to say the least. This quality shows up in their perfecting electronics like TV’s and also less expensive more efficient cars that were originally created here in the US.

Blood type A’s tend to have more sensitive constitutions. Too much stress weakens their immunity more quickly than other blood types. Low stomach acid is common among blood type A’s even from birth, so special care should be taken when eating animal proteins. Using digestive enzymes, like Assist Dairy and Protein, along with consuming fermented foods and drinks is really a must for A’s. It is not surprising to me that fermented foods like Miso and Natto play an important role in providing easily digested protein, in the Japanese Diet. They also eat raw fish which is much easier to digest than cooked.

Blood Type B - Blood type B individuals tend to be balanced: thoughtful like A’s and yet ambitious like O’s. They are empathetic, easily understanding others’ points of view, yet often hesitating to challenge or confront. Chameleon-like and flexible, they make good friends.

Blood Type AB - Tend to be very charming and popular. They don’t sweat the small stuff and can be seen as spiritual and even at times a bit “flaky”. Only about 2 - 5% of the population are blood type AB. There is never a dull moment in a AB’s life, so if you find one for a friend, consider yourself lucky! Youll enjoy some exciting times together!

Like blood type A’s, AB’s react to stress poorly. They are stronger and more active than type A’s, but need to pay attention to stress levels so that they don’t compromise their immunity.

Sometimes it is difficult to be an AB. AB’s don’t like to fit in anyone else’s “boxes”. If they feel too confined, they’ll break out of that box and do things their own way. When it comes to food choices and AB must discover when they are more B-like or A-like. For example, dairy foods like milk kefir can be excellent for them or not good at all.

Blood Type O - Tend to be loners or leaders and are intuitive, focused, self-reliant and daring. They handle stress better than other blood types and have strong immune systems, a well developed physique and a physically active nature. Blood type O’s tend to have sluggish blood flow and feel better with vigorous exercise for about an hour each day.
