<p>9 oz flour<br />
6 oz butter<br />
3 oz caster sugar</p>

<p>397g tin condensed milk<br />
2 tablespoons golden syrup<br />
60g caster sugar<br />
120g butter</p>
<p><strong>For Chocolate Topping:</strong></p>
<p>6 oz milk chocolate (melted)</p>
<h3>Procedure:</h3>
<p>1. To prepare shortbread, cream together butter and sugar using an electric beater.<br />
2. After that add sifted flour and mix using a spatula till the batter becomes uniform.<br />
3. Spread this batter into the greased and dusted rectangular pan (11&#215;7-inch). Level the batter layer by pressing the batter firmly and making it even from the top using the back of a spoon.<br />
4. Bake in preheated oven at 350 degrees F for 20 mins. or until the toothpick inserted from the center comes out clean.<br />
5. Meanwhile shortbread is baking, prepare caramel syrup for the bars, for that you need to combine all the ingredients of caramel sauce and cook over medium-low heat for 15-20 mins. Keep stirring in between so that the mixture would not burn and the caramel gets an even golden color.<br />
6. When the caramel is ready to cool it to room temperature.<br />
7. Now apply the caramel layer onto the prepared shortbread layer and then refrigerate for 10-15 mins. until it sets nicely.<br />
8. After that make a layer of melted chocolate on top and refrigerate it again to set the bars.<br />
9. When all the layers get firm and set nicely, cut the caramel chocolate shortbread into bars.</p>

<p>2 cups leftover mashed potatoes<br />
2 tbsp flour<br />
2/3 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)<br />
1 scallion (chopped)<br />
3 strips of turkey bacon<br />
Salt and Pepper to taste<br />
1 egg (lightly beaten with ¼ cup water)<br />
1½ cup bread crumbs<br />
Oil for shallow frying</p>
<h2>Procedure:</h2>
<p>1. Combine mashed potatoes, cheddar cheese, scallion, and flour in a mixing bowl and mix well so that all ingredients incorporate well.<br />
2. Cook turkey bacon and then cut it into small pieces.<br />
3. Add turkey bacon to the potato mixture and mix well. If required, add salt and pepper to taste.<br />
4. Now make small balls of lemon size, dip each of them in beaten egg, and then coat them with breadcrumbs.<br />
5. Heat oil for shallow frying in a pan, and then fry the prepared balls in batches for 3-5 mins. over medium heat or until turns golden brown in color.<br />

2 tbsp corn flour<br />
Oil for deep frying</p>
<p><strong>For Sauce:</strong></p>
<p>1 tbsp oil<br />
2 stalks spring onion (sliced)<br />
6 cloves garlic (minced)<br />
½ cup chicken stock<br />
½ tsp crushed black pepper<br />
1 tbsp ketchup<br />
1 medium green capsicum (julienned)<br />
1 medium red capsicum (julienned)</p>
<h2>Procedure:</h2>
<p>1. Marinate chicken with flour, 2 tbsp corn flour, 1 tbsp black pepper, 1 tsp salt, egg, and soya sauce, and leave for 15 mins.<br />
2. Meanwhile heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan and sauté garlic in it for 1-2 mins., then add spring onion slices and fry for just a minute, then remove the pan from heat.<br />
3. Now heat oil for deep frying in a wok and then fry all the chicken pieces for 3-5 mins. over medium heat or until becomes lightly golden.<br />
4. Transfer the chicken pieces into the pan containing sauteed garlic and onion and cook with ½ cup of chicken stock for 2-3 mins. over high heat.<br />
5. When the mixture starts bubbling, add leftover marinate, ketchup, black pepper, and salt if required.<br />
6. When the mixture becomes a little thick add capsicum strips and remove the pan from heat. Stir well to mix all the ingredients and serve immediately with steamed or fried rice.</p>

<h2>Ingredients:</h2>
<p>1 ltr milk<br />
1 cup sugar<br />
4 tbsp vanilla custard<br />
1 tsp vanilla extract<br />
2 apples (peeled and cut into small cubes)<br />
2 peaches (peeled and cut into small cubes)<br />
4 medium bananas (peeled and sliced)<br />
½ cup pineapple chunks (drained)<br />
½ cup red cherries (pitted)<br />
1 cup thick cream<br />
¼ cup currants<br />
1 box red jelly mix<br />
1 box green jelly mix</p>
<h2>Procedure:</h2>
<p>1. Cook together milk, and sugar until sugar dissolves completely, and the mixture gets boiled.<br />
2. Dissolve custard powder in 2-3 tbsp of cold milk and gradually add it to the boiled milk mixture. Stir continuously while adding to avoid making any lumps.<br />
3. Cook the custard mixture for 5 mins. until it becomes thick and smooth.<br />
4. Remove the pan from heat and cool to room temperature. Stir occasionally so that a thick layer would not form on top.<br />
5. Dissolve the red jelly mix in 1 cup hot boiling water, then pour onto the deep platter and refrigerate until it sets nicely. Similarly prepare green jelly and then cut both of them into squares.<br />
6. In another mixing bowl combine all the fruits and mix them with cream and vanilla extract.<br />
7. Take a serving dish or glass (for individual servings) spread half of the fruit mixture at the base, then sprinkle half of the currants and then pour half of the prepared custard. Repeat this pattern of layers and in the end, put the jelly pieces on top.<br />
8. Refrigerate for 2-3 hrs. until it sets nicely and gets chill. Serve the tempting custard with a pineapple cake slice.</p>

5. In a skillet heat the remaining oil and pour the mixture into the skillet. Cook over medium heat for 2-3 mins. then turn the side and cook for a further 1-2 mins. so that it would turn into nice golden brown from both sides.<br />
