Ingredients:
(Original recipe makes 1 - 9x13 inch or 2 - 9 inch round pans)

1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
2 cups white sugar
3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
2 eggs
1 cup strong brewed coffee
1 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour two 9 inch round cake pans or one 9x13 inch pan.

In large bowl combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt. Make a well in the center.

Add eggs, coffee, buttermilk, oil and vanilla. Beat for 2 minutes on medium speed. Batter will be thin. Pour into prepared pans.

Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 30 to 40 minutes, or until toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes, then remove from pans and finish cooling on a wire rack. Fill and frost as desired.
Mango Chicken Curry Recipe

Ingredients :
Original recipe makes 2 servings

1 tablespoon vegetable oil
250 gram skinless, boneless chicken breast, cubed
1/2 cup chicken stock
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 1/2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 teaspoon curry powder
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 onion, diced
1 green bell pepper, sliced
1 red bell pepper, sliced
2 teaspoons minced fresh ginger root
1 mango, peeled and cubed
Directions

Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat and stir in the chicken breast. Cook the chicken breast until no longer pink in the center.

Transfer cooked chicken to a plate. Meanwhile, whisk together the chicken stock, soy sauce, vinegar, brown sugar, curry powder, and cornstarch. Set aside.

Using the same skillet, cook and stir the onion over medium heat until the onion has softened and turned translucent, about 5 minutes.

Stir in the green and red bell peppers and cook for 2 minutes, then add the ginger and cook for another minute.

Stir in the chicken stock mixture and the cooked chicken breast. Cook until the sauce has thickened. Drop mango in and cook until the mango is heated through.

Chocolate Lava Cake Recipe

Recipe by Chef John

"Legend has it that this dessert was the result of a major catering disaster. The dessert for this particular event was to be individual chocolate cakes, but someone took them out of the ovens to soon and the centers where not cooked enough and still liquefied. Well, there was no time to take them off the plates and cook them more, so the Chef simply had his wait staff introduce the dessert as Chocolate 'Lava' Cake! Brilliant!"

Ingredients Edit:
(Original recipe makes 4 servings)

butter as needed
2 egg yolks
2 eggs
3 tablespoons white sugar
3 1/2 ounces chopped dark chocolate
5 tablespoons butter
4 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder
3 tablespoons flour
1 pinch salt
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

Generously butter the inside of 4 (5 1/2 ounce) ramekins. Place them in a casserole dish.

Whisk together egg yolks, eggs, and sugar in a bowl until light, foamy, and lemon colored.

Melt chocolate and butter in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring after each melting, 1 to 3 minutes.

Stir melted chocolate mixture into egg and sugar mixture until combined.

Sift cocoa powder into the mixture; stir to combine.

Sift flour and salt into the mixture; stir to combine into a batter.

Stir vanilla extract into the batter.

Transfer batter to a resealable plastic bag.
Snip one corner of the bag with scissors to create a tip.

Divide batter evenly between the prepared ramekins; tap gently on the counter to remove any air bubbles.

Refrigerate 30 minutes.

Preheat an oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).

Arrange the ramekins in a casserole dish. Pour enough hot tap water into the casserole dish to reach halfway up the sides of the ramekins.

Bake in the preheated over for 15-18 minutes.
Set aside to cool for 15 minutes.

Loosen the edges from the ramekin with a knife. Invert each cake onto a plate and dust with powdered sugar.
Carefully transfer cones to the preheated oven and bake until a toothpick inserted into the middle of a filled cone comes out clean, 20 to 25 minutes.

Cool cupcakes thoroughly before decorating, about 1 hour.
General Tsao's Chicken Recipe

Recipe by ChefDaddy

"A genuinely mouthwatering dish with an Asian kick that will knock your chopsticks off! Don't be fooled by other General Tsao impostors: this is simply the best Chinese chicken you will ever have. With a flair of peanut oil, a streak of sesame, a dash of orange, and a sweet spot for hot, this is sure to be a favorite. Just don't forget to deep-fry twice! Serve with steamed broccoli and white rice."

Ingredients:
(6 servings)

4 cups vegetable oil for frying
1 egg
1 1/2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon white sugar
1 pinch white pepper
1 cup cornstarch
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons chopped green onion
1 clove garlic, minced
6 dried whole red chilies
1 strip orange zest
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
3 tablespoons chicken broth
1 tablespoon rice vinegar
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons sesame oil
2 tablespoons peanut oil
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1/4 cup water

Directions:

Heat the vegetable oil in a deep-fryer or large saucepan to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Beat the egg in a mixing bowl. Add the chicken cubes; sprinkle with salt, 1 teaspoon sugar, and white pepper; mix well. Mix in 1 cup of cornstarch a little bit at a time until the chicken cubes are well coated.

In batches, carefully drop the chicken cubes into the hot oil one by one, cooking until they turns golden brown and begin to float, about 3 minutes. Remove the chicken and allow to cool as you fry the next batch. Once all of the chicken has been fried, refry the chicken, starting with the batch that was cooked first. Cook until the chicken turns deep golden brown, about 2 minutes more. Drain on a paper towel-lined plate.

Heat 2 tablespoons vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat. Stir in the green onion, garlic, whole chiles, and orange zest. Cook and stir a minute or two until the garlic has turned golden and the chiles brighten. Add 1/2 cup sugar, the ginger, chicken broth, vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and peanut oil; bring to a boil and cook for 3 minutes.

Dissolve 2 teaspoons of cornstarch into the water, and stir into the boiling sauce. Return to a boil and cook until the sauce thickens and is no longer cloudy from the cornstarch, about 1 minute. Stir the chicken into the boiling sauce. Reduce heat to low and cook for a few minutes until the chicken absorbs some of the sauce.
1 small, ripe mango
200 g firm tofu
1 tbsp chopped fresh chives

Dressing:
2 tbsps orange juice
1 tbsp lime juice
1 tsp clear honey
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp sesame seeds, toasted

Method:

Peel and coarsely grate the carrots.

Drain the tofu, pat dry with kitchen paper and cut into 1cm dice. Toss together with the carrots and mango in a salad bowl.

For the dressing, put all the ingredients in a screw top jar and shake well to mix evenly.

Pour the dressing over the salad and toss well to coat the salad evenly.

Just before serving, toss the salad lightly and sprinkle with chopped chives. In a small bowl, combine yeast and sugar with milk. Allow to sit for about 10 minutes.
2. Pour flour into a large bowl and create a well in center. Pour yeast mixture into well, and add butter and eggs. Stir to combine, and then turn dough out onto a clean floured surface. Use your hands to knead mixture for about 10 minutes, or until a soft dough mixture. Put in a lightly oiled bowl and cover with a damp towel. Set aside and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour.
3. Preheat oven to 450ºF. Divide dough into golf ball-sized pieces. On a floured cookie sheet, use your hands to flatten each piece into a circle about ø-inch thick.
4. In a medium skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion and sauté for 5 minutes. Add meat and cook for 5 minutes more, stirring often. Mix in parsley.
5. Spread a layer of topping about 1/2 -inch thick in the middle of each piece of dough. Along the outside edge of each pizza, fold 1/4 inch of dough toward center to create a border of crust.
6. Leave pizzas in a warm place to rise for another 30 minutes. Use a pastry brush to coat outer crusts with egg yolk (discard egg white). Bake for 5 to 10 minutes, or until golden brown.
7. When cooked, brush lightly with melted butter and stack in a covered saucepan for 5 minutes before serving. (This step is to soften the pastry. If you want a crisp crust, serve straight from the oven.)
All about cooking recipes..

Zesty Mustard Chicken Recipe

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 400px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi2QSfypJcMSwM4qHFXHxNcu14DpU4xNvX7M-dZpyAl8ESk-GojkyyJZt7YMth65tAIVVjiFyTT_7K_UdXRRX08HxRSMorGtusEzTmqhMLC-x-5w-E94_hEPAiqQb5b_IS9izBDuQ/s400/Zesty+Mustard+Chicken.png" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5433091150840429378" />
Ingredients:

½ cup prepared mustard
½ cup honey
1 tablespoon salt-free seasoning blend
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 broiler/fryer chicken, cut in half

Cooking Method:

In a bowl, combine the first four ingredients and mix well.

Carefully loosen the skin of the chicken; spoon some of the mustard sauce under the skin.

Coat grill rack with nonstick cooking spray before starting the grill. Drain the fries on fresh paper towels, salt them, and divide them onto 4 serving plates or bowls.

Add 1/4 cup of the cheese curds and 1/3 cup of the hot chicken gravy on each serving of fries.
