1/4 cup red wine vinegar<br />
1/4 tsp sugar<br />
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice<br />
1/2 tsp salt<br />
1/2 tsp black pepper<br />
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce<br />
3/4 tsp dry mustard<br />
1/2 garlic clove; minced<br />
1/4 cup olive oil<br />
3/4 cup vegetable oil</p>
<h2>How to prepare</h2>
<p>Chop lettuce, watercress, endive and romaine in very fine pieces. Mix in 1 large wide bowl or 6 individual wide shallow bowls. Add chives. Arrange tomatoes, chicken, bacon, avocado and eggs in narrow strips or wedges across top of greens. Sprinkle with cheese. Chill.<br />
Meanwhile, to make dressing, combine water, vinegar, sugar, lemon juice, salt, pepper, worcestershire, mustard, garlic and oils. Chill. At serving time, shake dressing well. At table, pour 1/2 cup dressing over salad and toss. Pass remaining dressing at table.<br />

<h2>How to prepare</h2>
<p>Cut top sirloin steak to about 1/4&#8243; thickness sprinkle with 1/2 tsp garlic powder and pepper heat 1 tsp oil and butter in 12&#8243; heavy frying pan over medium-high heat until hot pan-fry steak 5-7 mins for medium- rare doneness, turning once remove steak to heated platter, sprinkle with 1/2 tsp salt keep arm add remaining 1 tsp oil to frying pan add red and green peppers, onions, mushrooms, and walnuts cook 2 mins, stirring frequently spread steak with sour cream, top with chilies starting at long side, roll up steak jelly- roll fashion, secure with 6 wooden picks spoon vegetables around steak roll, garnish with lemon slices and cilantro sprigs to serve, carve steak roll between wooden picks, remove and discard wooden picks.</p>

<p>1-2 lb fresh asparagus spears<br />
2 tbsp dijon mustard<br />
2 tbsp minced fresh tarragon (or other favorite herb)<br />
2 tbsp sherry or basalmic vinegar<br />
1/4 tsp salt</p>
<p>Large pinch of freshly ground pepper<br />
1 cup vegetable oil<br />
1 cup olive oil

<h2>How to prepare</h2>
<p>1. Peel the asparagus stems.<br />
2. Bring a large pot of heavily-salted water to a boil.<br />
3. Place asparagus in the boiling water and cook until tender, but still firm (about 5 minutes).<br />
4. Remove the asparagus and plunge them into a bowl of ice water to stop the cooking process.<br />
5. To make the vinaigrette: whisk together mustard, tarragon, vinegar, salt and pepper. Incorporate oil by pouring in a slow steady stream, whisking all the time.<br />
6. Arrange 4-6 asparagus spears per person on individual plates, spoon over approximately 2 tbsp of vinaigrette.<br />

<p>Combine first 7 ingredients in a large bowl and stir well; make a well in center of mixture. Combine orange juice and next 3 ingredients in a bowl; stir well with a wire whisk. Add to dry ingredients, stirring until moistened. Spoon batter into an 8 1/2&#8243;x 4 1/2&#8243;x 3&#8243; loaf pan coated with cooking spray. Bake at 350</p>

Kosher salt<br />
Black pepper to taste<br />
2 tbsp fresh lemon juice</p>
<h2>How to prepare</h2>
<p>1. Preheat oven to 350f.<br />
2. Cut broccoli into florets of roughly the same size.<br />
3. Toss broccoli with olive oil, salt, &#038; pepper.<br />
4. Place in single layer on baking sheet and bake until tender, 30-35 minutes.<br />
5. Sprinkle with lemon juice and serve.</p>

<p>Mix the crumbs, horseradish and milk in the top of a double boiler. Let the mixture stand for a couple of hours. Cook 20 to 25 minutes over boiling water, stirring now and then. Blend in the butter and salt and pepper. A little lemon juice may be added if you like.</p>
