<li>2- 2 ½ pounds sirloin steak</li>
<li>Sprinkle of dried beef seasoning</li>
<li>1 can of cream of onion soup</li>
<li>1 can of cream of mushroom soup</li>
<li>¼ cup chardonnay, or wine of your choice</li>
</ul>
<h3>Method</h3>
<p>1. Cut into 6 steaks.</p>
<p>2 Sprinkle seasoning over the steaks.</p>
<p>3. Place three steaks into slow cooker.</p>

The beef broth and vegetables provide the finishing touch to this this a great comfort food.</p>

<strong>Cooking time:</strong> 8 hours<br />
<strong>Serves:</strong> 4-5</p>
<h3>Ingredients</h3>
<ul>
<li>2-3 pound sirloin beef roast</li>
<li>2 tablespoons vegetable oil</li>
<li>4 cups beef broth</li>
<li>4- 5 carrots</li>
<li>4-5 potatoes</li>
<li>1 onion</li>
<li>1 tablespoon beef seasoning</li>
<li>½ teaspoon salt</li>
<li>¼ tablespoon pepper</li>
</ul>
<h3>Method</h3>
<p>1. Brown roast on all sides in pan with oil.</p>

<p>3. Peel and cut carrots and add to cooker.</p>

<p>Buckeye Bars are a bar version of the famous Ohio made buckeye balls.</p>
<p>It is made of all the ingredients, the only thing different is this recipe is made into candy bars instead of buckeye balls. What you have is a simple, fast, easy way of making the same candy. The candy is made of peanut butter and chocolate. This is a delightful way to satisfy any chocoholic.</p>

<strong>Prep time:</strong> 20 minutes<br />
<strong>Serves:</strong> 20 bars</p>
<h3>Ingredients</h3>
<ul>
<li>2 sticks butter (1 cup)</li>
<li>1 cup peanut butter</li>
<li>1 pound package of powdered sugar (3 ½ cups)</li>
<li>12 package of chocolate chips</li>
</ul>

<p>1. Melt butter in microwave.</p>
<p>2. Stir peanut butter into butter.</p>

<p>4. Press mixture down flat into a 13X9 inch pan.</p>

Haleem is served as a starter at Muslim weddings, festivals or special occasions. Muslims help themselves break the fast during Ramzam with a plateful of delicious haleem. Meat and dal are cooked till soft in generous amount of ghee. Though the recipe is time consuming, it is worth trying out because of its mouthwatering taste.</p>
<p><strong>Prep time</strong>: 25 min</p>
<p><strong>Cook time</strong>: 2 hrs</p>
<p><strong>Serves</strong>: 6-7</p>
<h3>Ingredients</h3>
<ul>
<li>1 kilo mutton</li>
<li>4 large onions, chopped</li>
<li>25 g each of urad dal and Bengal gram dal</li>
<li>100 g whole wheat</li>
<li>15 g each of toor dal and masoor dal</li>
<li>500g ghee</li>
<li>1 cup limejuice</li>
<li>2 tsp ginger-garlic paste</li>
<li>200 g haleem mix (available in the market)</li>
<li>Ginger juliennes for garnish</li>
<li>Chopped coriander, copped green chillies for garnish</li>
<li>1 cup onions, chopped and fried in ghee for garnish</li>
<li>1 small bunch of mint and coriander leaves</li>
<li>Salt to taste</li>
</ul>
<h3>Method</h3>
<p>Soak all dhls overnight along with whole wheat. Pressure-cook the dals with some salt and keep aside.</p>
<p>Heat ghee in a heavy bottomed kadai. Fry onions till brown, add pieces of mutton and haleem mix. Mix well and saute for sometime.</p>
<p>Then mix chopped mint and coriander leaves, ginger-garlic paste and fry. Pressure-cook this mixture with about 10 glasses of water till the meat is soft.</p>
<p>After cooling, add the cooked dal and boil for at least 2 hours. Stir constantly so that the mixture does not stick to the kadai. Add salt if necessary (Haleem mix contains salt).</p>
<p>Haleem is done when the mixture thickens and meat is soft. Dish out and garnish with green chillies, ginger juliennes, fried onions, chopped coriander and limejuice.</p>

This Idly fry is prepared with leftover ingredients and topped up with delicious and spicy gravy. Children love this dish.  Serve it with Tomato Sauce or Tomato Chutney.</p>
<p><strong>Prep Time:</strong> 20 Minutes<br />
<strong>Cook Time:</strong> 45 Minutes<br />
<strong>Serves:</strong> 2</p>
<h3>Ingredients</h3>
<ul>
<li>4 Idli</li>
<li>1 tsp Ginger Garlic Paste (or make paste by grinding 1 garlic and 2 cms ginger)</li>
<li>2 tbs Corn Flour</li>
<li>2 tbs of All Purpose Flour (Maida as Known by Indians)</li>
<li>1 tsp Red Chilli Powder</li>
<li>1 Large Onion (Chopped)</li>
<li>1 Capsicum (Chopped)</li>
<li>1 tbs Tomato Sauce</li>
<li>1 tsp Soya Sauce</li>
<li>1 tsp Mustard</li>
<li>Salt to taste</li>
<li>Finely Chopped Coriander leaves to Garnish</li>
</ul>
<h3>Method</h3>
<p>In a Bowl, mix Corn Flour, All purpose Flour, Ginger garlic paste and Chilli powder.</p>
<p>Add Salt and make it as a semi solid paste</p>
<p>Cut Idlis into pieces, like small cubes</p>
<p>Dip Idli Cubes into the semi solid paste and leave it for 5 minutes</p>
<p>In a pan, heat oil and deep fry the Idlis.</p>
<p>Heat some oil, Fry Mustard.</p>
<p>Add Onion and Capsicum, Ginger Garlic paste and Sauté it.</p>
<p>Add Fried Idlis, Tomato Sauce, and Soya Sauce and mix well.</p>
<p>Garnish with Coriander Leaves and Serve it hot.</p>
