Galatia Films has teamed up with some brilliant songwriters and bands to create a very unique soundtrack that celebrates the rediscovery of pop music. Combine this with a Hollywood orchestral score by David James Nielsen and it’s a mighty compilation worth checking out. It is now available from Lakeshore Records! Check it out on iTunes, download individual tracks from the original orchestral score, or buy the complete album to  hear some of the great bands that helped make the music of RTB, including tracks from Adam Franklin of Swervedriver, Daniel McNicoll the director and artists Triskela and Aurah.

Of course, there was a lot more to it than just clever names for ancient sword techniques. They carefully practiced a number of things with Steaphen, from training etiquette and basic dodging, to some deceptive counter attacks and throws. One exercise involved relinquishing one’s own sword in order to gain the upper hand in a close fight - all skills we hope the good people of ARMA Columbus will never need to perform in the proper, deadly fashion.

Prize Acceptance Agreement: Winner will be notified by a direct twitter message sent to them if they are friends of @swordmovie; otherwise winner is responsible for friending @swordmovie and sending @swordmovie a direct message with their email address. The winner accepts their prize when they email their postal address to twitter@reclaimingtheblade.com. Once the postal address is received via email, it will be assumed that the winner desires Galatia Films to ship the prize to the provided address.

Prizes: Ten (10) entrants will win one (1) prize package containing one (1) Reclaiming the Blade 2-Disc Special Edition DVD set and one (1) RTB Special Edition T-shirt. One (1) winner will be randomly drawn each day for ten (10) days from eligible entries received between July 6, 2009 and July 15, 2009.

Entry and Eligibility: Only entries placed with the 24 hour period preceding each day’s drawings will be eligible. The Sponsor’s database clock will be the official timekeeper for this contest. Void where prohibited.
