There're many reasons why you may want to display online live scores for soccer matches.

Usually it takes much effort -- you need to subscribe for service of some live score feeds providers, which is not very cheap (about $200 per month minimum) and do a lot of programming to make it display results on your site's pages. On the average it will take you about $500 just to setup this feature on your site and hundreds dollars monthly for livescore feeds.

The other way is to setup some sort of league managers and add results manually. Then you'll need to have something, which would interact with those managers and track all matches online. We're not sure which way is cheaper. We're not going to measure it and won't suggest it to you.

We offer a better way. Our company presents the family of soccer-related Joomla extensions, which will help you fulfil all these tasks with minimum time and money spent. These extensions allow to display live results for top Europian national leagues, UEFA Champions League, UEFA Cup and World Cup 2010 Qualifications. For each type of contest we released a special addon. Each of these addons designed to display schedules and results for soccer matches and standings tables for contest they're designed to track.

All extensions are similar to each other. The frontend is provided via their modules. These modules are widgets of high level of usability, allowing your site visitors see livescores and standings tables of most popular football (soccer) tournaments. Also users can see details of each played match and all this information can be navigated without reloading of your pages (thanks to Ajax-technique implemented in our modules). User can easily switch from standings to nearest matches list and vice versa. If admin chooses a particular team to be highlighted in some module, all matches with that team will be outlined. Besides that, module will automatically scroll this team to the top, if it placed on non-visible position.

Our addons use special algorithm, which tries to select most important matches for a given date. This algorithm applied when a page have just been loaded and a user moves forward or backward using date picker on the top of a module. User can see details of each match by clicking on a certain item in the list of matches. Match details includes the following data: teams' names, match score, minute of match and the list of goals scored in certain match with minutes and scorers names. Addon's package also includes one component and a system plugin. Plugin just links necessary stylesheets and javascripts to a page. Component handles all interaction between beybegi.ru livescore provider and modules.

Why purchase premuim versions

Besides premium versions, most of our soccer extensions have free demo versions. What's the difference? Premium versions include license which enables full information about matches for your site. After purchasing the products, license key will be given to you. You'll need to enter this key into special field in the component's backend. Free versions do not have such a field.

Requirements

Installation

install the component, module and plugin from unzip_first zip package
switch the plugin on
create and enable as many modules as you need, then you'll need put them on required positions and specify all necessary options

Module Management

Open a module for edit and setup positioning and other standard Joomla settings. Our addons' modules also have some specific options which allow you control module's behavior and layout. All modules have the following settings:
Highlight Team - admin can choose one team to be outlined from others
What to display first - admin can choose what content will be displayed when a module is loaded for the first time: standings table or list of upcoming matches
Module Class Suffix - create your own stylesheets to modify looks & feel of the modules
Important note: modules of our soccer addons may not fit your site design, or positions, where you placed them, may be too small for standard view settings of modules. You're able to setup your own view settings creating your own css stylesheets. We also offer predefined css classes for small module positions. After quick and easy installation of UEFA Champions League Livescore Addon's component, plugin and module on frontend of your site, you'll see our addon's modules. Champions League modules administration

Open module manager in the backend of your Joomla website, find Champions League Livescore module, open it for edit. There you'll see the following options: highlight team, what to display first and module class suffix.

Highlight Team - admin can choose one team to be outlined from others

What to display first - admin can choose what content will be displayed when a module is loaded for the first time: standings table or list of upcoming matches

Module Class Suffix - create your own stylesheets to modify looks & feel of the modules

Important note: It's better to put Champions League Module in wide module positions. If you do not have much space for these wide module positions in your layout, then you should change looks&feel using css stylesheets. In CSS Suffix field you can type prefix which will be the name for your own css classes. Try our predefined class for small modules. Its name is _ucla_small . Specify suffix _ucla_small in CSS Suffix and check how Soccer Scores module looks after it. CSS files located in components/com_ucla/assets/css/ folder. You can edit them or create your own stylesheets using our shtylesheets as examples.

About two weeks ago we took decision to start development and now we are proud to announce that work finished. This release has same features and bonuces as version for J!1.5. It also allows get standings and livescores for national championships of of England, Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine.

Recly Interactive and soccer livescore provider beybegi.ru happy to announce that Soccer Scores extension has been updated to 1.2.0 version. This update has significant modifications in comparsion with previous versions.

Most important is that now it can display standings tables for national leagues of England, Italy, Spain, Germany, France, Russia and Ukraine.

Each module allows visitors to switch from standings to nearest matches list and vice versa.
As well as matches list's looks&feel, view of standings table can be fully customized using component's templates. By default it displays teams' names with position, number of points and matches and also scored and conceded goals. Useless data can be cut off from template.

In module settings administrator can choose what to display first upon module load: standings or matches.
If a module has a team to highlight it also will be outlined on standings table and module will focus on it after the table loads.

If you have Soccer Scores previously installed, you will have to uninstall all extensions from Soccer Scores package and replace them with the component, module and system plugin from 1.2.0 version's package.
For a short period of time this update will be available for the premium version only and your license should include league to display its standings. We hope you'll enjoy this long-awaited update.
