Especially for teachers who take on various other responsibilities when it comes to planning and coordinating these special events. This is perhaps the reason why Paramus High School, along with over 70% of other high schools and colleges, has never implemented recycling at their graduation ceremonies, or other school events that attract thousands of students, teachers and parents for that matter. Permanent placement recycling bins around campus are difficult to move from one location to another where there is a temporary demand for recycling. Not every school has the budget to place a recycling bin in every possible location where one is needed, so these lower traffic areas suffer the consequences and simply do not offer recycling. These are the challenges many schools, like Paramus High School, face when it came to these type of events. However, Maggie Touloughian, a teacher and recycling coordinator at P.H.S., found an easy solution to what seemed to be a very daunting task.

NEW A-BIN RECYCLING BIN IN 360 DEGREES

Recyclingbin.com has just launched its newest product, The A-Bin Square Recycler. Three 29 gallon bins made of 100% recyclable polypropylene plastic are stationed inside an architecturally inspired wooden and steel enhanced frame.
Featuring “No Touch” deposit lids, the HexStation™ Solution Center promotes fast, sanitary collection. Separating waste into recyclables, compost, and landfill is simple: a unique, universal lid enables, glass, plastic, and paper to be readily collected in one bin while compost and landfill are collected separately. Environmentally friendly printed lids identify bin contents- no labels are required.
To reduce the carbon foot print of collection, the sturdy bin design uses far less plastic than conventional molded bins; the station frames are made from wood sourced under the sustainable forest initiative and secured with galvanized, reclaimed steel. Certified under the Recyclingbin.com “Fuel Saver” design initiative, the HexStation™ Solution Center even packs flat for efficient shipping!
Available with the Swoosh or Universal Recycling Symbols, the Hex Station™ Solution Center prominently stands out in a crowd.
Recyclingbin.com is the market leader for the design and manufacture of low impact environmental recycling and waste collection systems.
