A little update about my yesterday's post !

Hi everyone, I'm the guy with the weird head shape from yesterday ! (If you saw my post)

I didn't tell all the truth, cause actually, I noticed that head shape months ago, and I only posted it yesterday because I know it would spark some questions, and personally, I find it frustrating when you don't have answers rapidly !

I thought I had a weird head shape from several years before, but I didn't expect it to look this way, and only discovered it while I was trying baldness

I'm a med student, so as soon as I saw my head, I passed a CT scan that showed that it was basically fat, and I had a biopsy that confirmed it was "only" a lipoma (hopefully something benign)

I chose to post it yesterday since I actually got the surgery today, and hoped some of the reactions would make me laugh to destress a bit (it did, thanks guys)

While this might not be the best sub to post it, I thought it would fit a bit here since I really discovered it while trying to be bold, and everyone looked great without hair, so I thought I would show you guys something else !

Edit : Thanks everyone for the kind messages ! I'm currently still at the hospital, staying there for a couple of days to see if it heals well

To answer some questions, I'm actually a radiologist resident, so it was easy for me to get the CT scan ! The lipoma was between the bone and the skin, so my brain was safe, but the scar is kinda big I haven't seen the surgeon since the surgery, so I don't know if he filmed the operation or took some pictures, I'll ask him when I'll see him, I hope I get to see some of it I sensed a bump on my head for like 5-6 years before, but didn't worry much back then, since I thought it was just some excess skin (doctors are the worst patients), but seeing how I looked with short hair, I had to do the CT scan, and I was really surprised to see how big it was ! As some of you asked, I'll try to update when I'm all healed

There's a woman in my office who comments on everyone's lunch. Not in a fun way. "Ooh, treating yourself?" when I microwave leftovers. "Big appetite today!" like she's narrating a nature documentary about me.

For two years I ate sad little containers at my desk so she wouldn't have material.

Today I brought in a burrito that weighs more than my cat. Wrapped in that yellow paper that means business. I unwrapped it slowly, at my own desk, in full view, and I made eye contact while I took the first bite.

She said "wow, that's a lot." I said "yeah it is" and kept chewing. Didn't explain, didn't laugh nervously, didn't do the little self-deprecating thing women are trained to do when someone polices our plates.

Best lunch I've had in two years and the foil's still got a second half in it. She can narrate that too.
