LOS 22.2, android 15 - works amazingly well. Still setting up things so banking apps and google wallets work!

Been a smooth journey so far. Day 1 typing was bad, but its day 3 now and i’m getting much much better.

Managed to find a brand new Key 2 in the UK for £240 - boxed with all sealed accessories. Even the phone’s back had the sticker on haha!

How can I convert .bmpx boot images so I can view them?

Hi - I extracted an FFU of Windows Phone 8.1 for the Nokia Lumia 635 to browse. I came across the boot images which I have uploaded here. They are in .bmpx format, which most image viewers will not read, so how can I convert them so they are viewable?

3 days with Key2- Lineage

I had the forgotten how to type. Day 1 was tough, and I thought I wasted my money, wanted to quit. Day 2 was relatively easier, all apps working well. I don't have FB insta or X on this phone. Banking apps working well. Don't feel any lag or bugs till now. Hats off to BlackBerry and this phone is holding strong till date, gng toe to toe with contemporary keyboard phones.

Day 3- typing is coming easier than now, starting to love typing now. Infant I am typing on my key2.

Anyone know why this always happens at 80%

I have replaced the battery with a long charge or a very short charge always at 80% it will always throw this message up. The phone is not hot or warm at all.

Bought the first 6700s & Nokia 6500c when I stumble with another 6700s with Nokia 311(forgot to take photo coz it's charging 😅). I should have bought the purple one instead of the green one if I knew I would get another one with the same colour (got it both at $12). Oh well, the more, the merrier.

Update on my Nokia 5190 with LTE

I wanted to give an update on my custom built Nokia 5190 containing a postage stamp sized Linux SBC SIM7600G-H and 240x175 backlit LCD

The modem has been connected to the Luckfox SBC and it now can connect to a real cell 4G LTE cell tower and even browse the web using a fork of NetSurf.

Soon I will be attaching a USB microphone and testing a phone call! It is currently able to send and receive sms messages as well.

Unfortunately, the modem and battery are pretty thick, and I have this ugly 3D printed block on the back. Maybe in the future I’ll find a better solution.😅

Erro Sachesi, DBBTool Passaport

I’ve tried everything I found online, but I can't get my Passport to connect to either Sachesi or DBBTool. BlackBerry Blend 2.1 recognizes the device just fine, but I need to install .BAR files. Any ideas on how to fix this error? I’ve already completed the entire tutorial available on the Passport itself.

[Lumia 735 with W10M] Edge is missing

I reset my old Lumia 735 through the settings without connecting it to the internet. The phone restarted and told me it was installing the apps. Once it was finished, I had the basic apps, but Edge was missing!

Could someone tell me what I can do? Is there a Discord server or anything else where I can get help? I looked through the subreddit’s wiki, but I couldn’t find anything useful.

Hey all,

A while back someone led me to find some resources I was looking for, but I now need to know what to do to proceed. I have a Samsung Ativ SE SM-W750V and a Nokia Lumia 635.

I found for the Samsung a handful of posts on XDA that still had live links with files shared on cloud drives. So I have a set of files for custom ROMs for 8 and 10 - I’d really prefer to try 10, naturally. So now I’m without any idea how to proceed. I am a quick study - I learned to modify Android devices rather quickly and now I’ve done hundreds of custom ROM installs and rooting. But for Windows Phone I have absolutely no idea where to begin. There are a bunch of files and I don’t know what’s what or what to run, how to boot the phone, etc.

I’ll post a directory listing so maybe that will help someone could perhaps let me know what I need to do. But if there are tutorials on this online, that’s just as good. I will update this post shortly with a dir listing of all the files I’ve gotten.

Here are all the directories and files contained therein. Could someone let me know how to use these?

So i randomly found a working Keyone on the flea market, and the stock os is very bad and laggy, even with good debloating, it still doesnt feel very good, is there any progress on bootloader unlock on KeyOne? and if there is, what are the most rough expectations for when it will come out? Since someone unlocked the bootloader on the Key2 recently

Razr V3 Screen Not Working?

Hi all, I recently went through a collection of some old stuff that my father had accumulated in his work closet. There were several 2000's Nokia's and a Razr V3. The battery was at the end of its life seemingly so I bought a new one from Cameron Sino/Techtek. It arrived on Friday and seemed to be working fine, I put the phone on to charge, left it for a few hours to charge up fully and everything seemed normal, battery hardly ran down at all through Saturday, but I went to check the phone this morning and the screen isn't displaying anything, it briefly flashed up the launch screen but now only the keypad is briefly lighting up.

Now the charger's I have aren't working at all, I only have newer USB A to Mini cables but the majority I have are all old enough and charge my camera that I have been using for years. Is it just as simple a solution that I need an original charger or that the battery may be faulty?

The BlackBerry KEYone Bootloader Rabbit Hole

Trying to give my BlackBerry KEYone a second life with Termux, SSH and other tools.

Everything works surprisingly well, be it 9+ hours sot on full charge, performance with termux, until you hit the bootloader. There’s no straightforward unlock method, so custom ROMs and deeper modifications are basically blocked.

I have tried claude opus 5 max, fable 5 but no luck yet.

Anyone here ever managed to get past it?
