THQ plans to release three DLC packs for Red Faction: Guerrilla.

The first, Demons of the Badlands, will be released on August 13 via Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. It will deliver a new single player campaign.

No additional details have been released regarding the other two packs.

Red Faction: Guerrilla may have just been released this month, but that’s not preventing major online stores from reducing prices already. Newegg briefly had the Xbox 360 version at $39.99 (now back up to $56.99, still a slight discount). Best SKU is currently offering it for $39.99 (+ shipping), for anyone comfortable shopping at a relatively unknown site. Amazon also has the Xbox 360 version on sale (for $49.99), while the PS3 version is $56.99. It’s unclear whether these deals are permanent, will get better, or will bounce back to normal soon.

A multiplayer demo will be released on May 21 according to a recent tweet from the development team.

Red Faction:

MP Demo Info - May 21st, 360/PS3, 2 Maps, 9 Weapons, 5 Backpacks, 15 XP unlockable levels, Damage Control only. Get out your sledgehammers.
