The Strangers have just signed on to play at St. Williams Point on Raquette Lake on Thursday, August 14th at 7pm. We’ll be playing in an old church that was built by Williams Durant and is listed on the national register of historic places. The church is known for its incredible acoustics and the area is known for its incredible beauty. We’ve played on the back of a train and on a boat in the middle of Lake Champlain, but we’ve never played on an island. If you’re up for a drive, some amazing scenery and a boat ride this is one not to miss.

Last Saturday night we played over at Red Square which was a great experience as always. In addition to the fantastic sound provided by High Peaks sound and seeing Francis and Tiffany again, we also received a treat in the form of a large group of Germans from a local cultural exchange program. They danced, yelled and frolicked, proving once again that Germans love David Hasselhoff ……and the Red Haired Strangers. Also, thanks to a slightly saucey Palatypus for sharing the bill with us.

Next year, we’ll have to get down to see our friends Slick Fitty. Finally, we (my 11 year old daughter) took some top notch video that should be appearing on the website soon. Stay tuned.
