Democratic Socialists of America: ‘Now More than Ever, Socialize the Knicks’ #Political

“The Knicks, like all professional sports teams, are social entertainment and therefore should be held in social ownership,” declares an article published by the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA) two days after the New York Knicks won the 2026 NBA championship on June 13.

Titled “Now More Than Ever, Socialize the Knicks,” the article is a reprint of a piece published by the Young Democratic Socialists of America in 2007 proclaiming that socialism is the key, not just to the team’s success, but also to redeeming all professional sports, hospitals and mass transit.

“If the capitalist Knicks ownership is unwilling to take the right steps towards correcting poor leadership, the Knicks fan community must,” the article by David Duhalde, a member of New York City DSA and a former national organizer for Young Democratic Socialists, argues:

“What makes us think that if [Knicks Owner James] Dolan sells the Knicks, another owner will save our beloved team? This is a great opportunity for us to propose an alternative form of ownership: let the fans and team staff manage and own the Knicks.”

Privately-owned hospitals, mass transit and sports teams (“social entertainment”) all threaten “the public good,” the article claims:

“It’s not enough to say that the Knicks, like all professional sports teams, are social entertainment and therefore should be held in social ownership.

“When public entities, like mass transit or hospitals, are privately owned, the public good is threatened. You don’t have to be a leftist to be disgusted at tax breaks and tax subsidies that sports corporations receive.”

“The best way to prevent corporate abuse of a city’s attachment to their team is social ownership,” the article contends, proposing that the city take ownership of the team and sell shares of stock to citizens, similar to the way the NFL’s Green Bay Packers are publicly owned.

“In order to save our social entertainment, we as fans need to build a social movement” incorporating protests by fans, “days of action against management” and coordinated boycotts, the author writes.

The government could also just seize ownership of the team to achieve its socialist agenda, the article says:

“Another target could be the city government. A long-shot possibility is the city could take the Knicks into trusteeship from the Dolan family and then sell off shares to the fans to facilitate the change in ownership.”

Regardless of the means employed, socialism is the end goal, the article concludes:

“There are many options, but only one goal: that the Knicks should truly be owned by the people.”

No CNN Pushback As Booker Rips Trump and Netanyahu as 'Criminals' #Political

Ever since Iran and the United States agreed to the memorandum of understanding (MOU) which theoretically brings an end to hostilities, pending 60 days of further negotiations, the criticism leveled at President Trump has been non-stop, with some even coming from Republicans, but it's been the left wing media and their platformed guests that have been leading the charge. One of the most extreme examples of that took place Friday on CNN's Inside Politics, as fill-in Host Phil Mattingly welcomed in New Jersey Democrat Senator Cory Booker.

Mattingly got things rolling with a question that Booker would never answer.

MATTINGLY: I think one of the things that I've been trying to figure out here is understand the opposition, understand the legitimate and genuine concern with the MOU that we've seen up to this point. What did you see as alternatives, given that we were here, whether you opposed it at the beginning or not?
BOOKER: What I didn't expect is when the President said in February when he started this ill-conceived war, he said, I want unconditional surrender. I didn't know that it would be him being the one that was surrendering unconditionally.

Booker then followed with almost every left wing talking point in existence.

BOOKER: Iran right away is going to be able to sell oil on the open market. Right away, they get relief from sanctions, which means they'll get billions of dollars, much of which they didn't have before. All we get out of this deal is really nothing, just getting the Strait of Hormuz open.

So we are seeing them get all the gains, and us, who've spent $50 to $100 billion of taxpayer money, who our own taxpayers have then been paying higher costs at the pump, higher costs for groceries, that has not gone down yet. We've lost 14 American soldiers, and we have nothing to show for it except for a promise that we'll negotiate over the next 60 days....Iran is coming out of this better off, and we are far, far worse off, every American citizen, and how their own lives are going could say we're worse off than we were before Donald Trump started.

After a back and forth on gas prices, which have been falling since the announcement of the MOU, Booker went back to his Trump has surrendered narrative.

BOOKER: It was one of the worst ill-conceived decisions I've seen a President make in my lifetime. And now the way he's getting us out of it is by surrendering all American authority, giving up all of our leverage, giving them everything they want and actually making our adversary stronger before and us as a nation weaker in our national security.

Rather than point out to Booker that he did not answer his original question, or point the losses suffered by Iran at the hands of the U.S. and Israel, or challenge him on his claim of unconditional surrender by the U.S., Mattingly moved on to our relationship with Israel, and started by playing clips from President Trump and V.P. Vance.

TRUMP CLIP: Israel's fighting Hezbollah too long and too many people are being killed. I'm saying when two drones are shot into the desert and drop harmlessly, you don't have to knock down buildings in Beirut.

VANCE CLIP: If I was in the cabinet of the Israeli government, I might not be attacking the only powerful ally that I have anywhere left in the entire world.

Booker then unleashed on Trump and Netanyahu, big time.

MATTINGLY: Do you agree with the sentiment that they're sharing there?

BOOKER: The two of the worst administrations of all democratic governments on the planet Earth right now are the Netanyahu administration and the Trump administration, both led by criminals. Remember our President, first in history to have dozens of felony convictions. So we have two criminals leading nations and acting in deeply immoral ways. And so this to me is the chickens coming home to roost. Israel is less safe and America is less safe because of immoral leaders that made horrible decisions.

Mattingly didn't bother to point out that Prime Minister Netanyahu has never been convicted of any crime, so Booker kept going, seeming to express pleasure that, in his view, the war with Iran was a failure.

Not only did Mattingly allow Booker to spew his outrageous comments about the U.S. and Israel unchallenged, not a negative word was uttered about Iran or its terrorist regime by Mattingly or Booker. This is CNN.

Actress Amanda Seyfried Plays the Victim, Demands Nuance After Denying it to Charlie Kirk #Political

Nothing says major self-unawareness quite like Amanda Seyfried choosing to double down on her distortion of Charlie Kirk’s character after his assassination (she called him “hateful”) and casting herself as the victim in a recent British GQ interview .

Shortly after Kirk’s assassination, Seyfried commented on an Instagram post that featured clips from Charlie’s speeches purposefully taken out of context to make him appear racist and cruel. “He was hateful,” the Mamma Mia star wrote, which rightfully drew a lot of criticism.

Seyfried tried to temper the flames with her own Instagram post that ironically stated:

We’re forgetting the nuance of humanity. I can get angry about misogyny and racist rhetoric and ALSO very much agree that Charlie Kirk’s murder was absolutely disturbing and deplorable in every way imaginable. No one should have to experience this level of violence. This country is grieving too many senseless and violent deaths and shootings. Can we agree on that at least?

Her caption was equally ironic:

I don’t want to add fuel to a fire. I just want to be able to give clarity to something so irresponsibly (but understandably) taken out of context. Spirited discourse- isn’t that what we should be having?

Yes, Amanda. Yes, it is. That’s exactly what Kirk stood for. He wanted everyone to see the humanity in each other no matter what their political beliefs were, which you would understand if you actually bothered to listen to him in full instead of failing to see his humanity because you doom scrolled through twisted distortions of his quotes designed to rage bait you.

In a December interview with Who, What, Wear, Seyfried seemed less interested in spirited discourse and more into expressing anger and defensiveness with yet again, more irony:

I'm not f*cking apologizing for that. I mean, for f*ck's sake, I commented on one thing. I said something that was based on actual reality and actual footage and actual quotes. What I said was pretty damn factual, and I'm free to have an opinion, of course," she says firmly. "Thank God for Instagram. I was able to give some clarity, and it was about getting my voice back because I felt like it had been stolen and recontextualized—which is what people do, of course."

Thank God for Instagram? Too bad Charlie can’t defend himself against people like you on social media anymore. See, Amanda, that’s just it. What you said was not factual because Kirk’s voice was also “stolen and recontextualized.” In fact, you’d probably be able to commiserate with him on that if he were alive. But sadly, he’s not.

That’s because he’s the real victim here, not you. He’s the one who paid the ultimate price for speaking his mind because so many people did what you did. They stole his words, recontextualized them, and then used all of it to dehumanize and vilify him. To the point an unhinged young man thought it would be a noble and valiant effort to put a bullet in his neck.

Then, your side cheered. And you spit on his character before he was even in the grave. And because people held you accountable, you want to play the victim now? It doesn’t work that way. Maybe in Hollywood, but not in the real world.

Unfortunately, all of that wasn’t enough for the star of The Housemaid. She recently received a glowing write up in British GQ that was heavy on the fan boy vibes, and the controversy was brought up yet again. This time, Seyfried whined harder because she had to… *gasp* …hire a bodyguard. Something completely unheard of for a Hollywood starlet:

Talking about it today, Seyfried is still in disbelief: “A, I’m allowed to f*cking voice my feelings, and B, do it in a way that’s not unkind necessarily. But there’s just an outsized fear and hatred and impulse to bash and to tear down. And I experienced a very small fraction of that.”

“I want my kids to be able to feel safe to voice their opinions as long as they’re not harmful,” she continues. “So I’m like, ‘What do I do? What do I say?’ And then all of a sudden I find myself with a fucking bodyguard at the airport and I’m like, ‘This is crazy.’”

Cue the violins! Gee, Amanda, that must have been so hard for you, having to be alive and all, walking around with a bodyguard after sharing your (extremely misguided) opinion rather than being shot in cold blood over it for all to see like Kirk was. The only thing “crazy” is that you see yourself as the victim in this scenario and still haven’t grasped how dehumanization like yours is what led to his murder in the first place.

Also, notice Seyfried’s qualifiers- “in a way that’s not unkind necessarily,“ and “as long as they’re not harmful.” The underlying implication being that no one should have a right to voice an opinion that someone might falsely interpret as unkind or harmful.

As Communist Cuba Crumbles, Media Grumbles About Trump #Political

Cuba has been back in the news, with President Trump imposing an oil blockade in January. The fabled island a mere 90 miles from Florida has, often enough in American history, grabbed the media spotlight in decidedly serious fashion.

In 1959, a Communist revolutionary named Fidel Castro led a rebellion that ousted the Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista. And with that the stage was set for what certainly seemed like endless military confrontations between Cuba and the United States over the decades.

Cubans who had fled their native country for America clustered in Florida and resolved to re-group and invade their homeland. The invasion took place in April of 1961 at what was known as the “Bay of Pigs.” The invaders, not well supported by the U.S. military, got clobbered, and it created such an international incident that the newly inaugurated administration of President John F. Kennedy was left red-faced, sending a signal of weakness to Cuba’s major sponsor, the Communist Soviet Union.

So badly was JFK seen in the day by the Russians that the Soviets decided to quietly go about the business of installing nuclear missiles in Cuba, threatening a considerable portion of the U.S. East Coast with nuclear attack. JFK would not stand for this.

And as those alive (ahem!) in the day, even as children it was understood that when the President came on national television and told the Russians to get their missiles out of Cuba - or else! - things were getting seriously out of hand. So much so that kids in school were instructed to practice diving under their desks to practice safety in case the missiles started to fly.

This time JFK was taken seriously by the Russians. The missiles were removed. But for the rest of time over the years Cuba became a center for Communist revolution, aiding and abetting anti-US military activities throughout Central and South America.

What does any of this ancient history have to do with current events in the media?

This is the usual Democrat line, where any misery in Cuba can't be blamed on communist rule:

“The writing on the wall is unmistakable: President Donald Trump is leading us into another reckless war, this time with Cuba.

Since the capture of Nicolás Maduro in Venezuela, the White House has been tightening the screws on Cuba in the hope that Cuba’s leaders will either capitulate or the Cuban people will rise up and overthrow them. Three months ago, Trump said Cuba 'is going to fall pretty soon … they want to make a deal so badly … and we’ll see how that works out.'

Like the president’s many mistaken predictions, there’s no sign of a deal and Cuba hasn’t fallen. Instead, the U.S. oil blockade has paralyzed Cuba’s economy and plunged the Cuban people into darkness and misery. If the tables were turned, we would denounce the blockade as an illegal act of war.

On May 20, the Justice Department announced the indictment of former Cuban President Raúl Castro, who is 95 years old, and that same day another U.S. aircraft carrier battle group arrived in the Caribbean Sea.

It is very safe to say that a form of hysteria is being stirred by the media - and no small thing that would be the Trump-hating media.

Longtime regime critic Alina Fernández Revuelta and other exiles in Miami are anxiously noting the island’s instability and watching for Trump’s next move.

‘We can’t take it anymore’: How Trump is pushing Cuba to the brink

The CNN story begins thusly:

Havana, Cuba — The Cuban man sidled up next to me on the street whispering as if he were sharing a long-held secret.

'Let the Americans come, let Trump come, it’s time to get this over with,' he said in a barely audible voice.

This is dangerous talk in Cuba — and especially at a time when a US president is threatening Cuba in a way we have not seen since the Cold War.

I looked around to see if anyone else was listening to these incendiary comments and if my cameraman, who was shooting a story with me on the ongoing transportation crisis, was nearby to record what the man – a bicycle-taxi driver – was telling me.

'We can’t take it anymore,' he continued. 'People can’t feed their families.'

To say the least, there are stories like these all over the American media.

And make no mistake they will have an effect. To wit: having the American media lay the groundwork for a U.S. government move somewhere down the road to invade Cuba. Effectively ending, one can believe the stories will go, the Communist rule of Cuba that began with the rise of Fidel Castro all the way back there in the late 1950’s.

How long will this take?

Who knows. The real question is will, and when, the mind of the American people be changed by the media about Cuba. And will President Trump come to believe there is enough support in the American media to finally put an end to this seemingly endless chapter in American-Cuban relations.

CNN Shows Skip Minority Subcontractor Claims That They Are Owed Millions For Obama Center #Political

After years of delays, and a price tag estimated to be over $1 billion, which includes over one hundred million in infrastructure paid for by Illinois taxpayers, the Obama Presidential Center opened its doors to the public on Friday, one day after a star studdedopening ceremony and needless to say the left wing media ate it up. But there is a disturbing side to this story, one that involves minority owned companies, that most decided to ignore.

Subcontractors who worked on the Center claim that they are owed millions of dollars and are facing financial ruin. But if you watched CNN in prime time from 7-11 pm on Thursday, you did not hear about it. The Source with Kaitlan Collins is one example of the selective coverage, designed to prop up Obama.

COLLINS: Today at the opening of his Presidential Center and Library, we heard from President Obama as he offered his own contrast with every other living president, Republican and Democrat, in attendance for that speech. Now, President Trump's absence was not surprising, but it was notable, and it was certainly felt as the Obamas offered a competing vision of presidential power.

By the way, Trump was not invited to attend. And the opening lines to Obama's clip must have been infuriating to those who claim to be owed money for their services.

OBAMA: A belief in the intrinsic dignity and worth of all people, and that no one is above the law or beneath its protection. A belief in checks and balances in our government, and an accountability that comes with it. An independent judiciary and a robust free press. A belief that our military and law enforcement owe allegiance not to any president or political party, but to the people and our Constitution. A belief in the peaceful transfer of power after the people have spoken in fair and free elections.

By contrast, Fox News's prime time shows did report on the claims of the subcontractors, including Jesse Watters Primetime. Watters introduced a clip of the President of The African American Contractors Association, Omar Shareef, "You needed an I.D. to get in, but outside the gates, different scene. Apparently Obama stiffed the black subcontractors who built the stone slab."

SHAREEF: Some of our contractors are already in bankruptcy. That's what they are said, that if it wasn't the fact that they worked on this Obama project, they would not be under this type of problem filing bankruptcy for protection.... And what sense is in celebrating Juneteenth if all black contractors are not getting their money.
WATTERS: Barry built a billion dollar vanity project, booked celebrities to serenade him, and didn't pay the black construction workers. This isn't Donald Trump. This is Barack Hussein Obama who did that. Everything they've been yelling at Trump for, narcissism, hideous egotistical architecture, being overbudget. Barry has been doing it the whole time in Chicago. Trump's building big beautiful things and cleaning up the country for the American people. Not for himself. Obama built something for Obama , and it shows.

Next on Hannity, the story was first mentioned at the end of Garrett Tenney's package on the ceremony.

TENNEY: It's worth noting that as today's ceremonies kicked off, some of the contractors who actually built the center weren't celebrating, they were protesting over millions of dollars in payments that they say they are still owed.
HANNITY: But the worst part about this monument to Obama, now how is it spread the wealth around contractors allegedly now struggling to get paid with many now facing financial ruin. Take a look.
He then proceeded to present clips from Mike Owen, President of Adamson Plumbing, which claims to be owed some $4 million, and from Shareef, who went after the media.

SHAREEF: So many of our black contractors have complained about they have not got their money but the other side of it, a lot of the black community in the newspapers do not know that these people have not been paid.

OWEN: It's in my opinion that there's been mismanagement here that's been settled to the subcontractors and we've all had to absorb them and I just feel that that's not right.
HANNITY: To quote Obama, you didn't build that, but you better pay the people who did. Tens of millions of dollars in the bank, hundreds of millions raised for the Center, I don't see any excuse.

Nor is their any excuse for CNN or any other media outlet not to report on this, but even when it involves black contractors, the leftist media will opt to protect Obama. Sad.

Obama Buddy Gayle King Glazes His Use Of ‘We’ #Political

Over the last few days, the focus of the media shifted entirely towards the grand opening of the Obama Center in Chicago. The grand opening made such a buzz that the media even forced themselves to slow down the endless abuse of the current president to instead focus on this obelisk of nostalgia constructed in honor of their beloved former President Obama. On this Friday’s CBS Mornings, co-host Gayle King and congressional correspondent Caitlin Huey-Burns defied the idea that CBS is now MAGA-coded and discussed their visits to the center’s opening ceremony with King in particular gushing over Obama’s use of the word “we.”

Of course, Huey-Burns immediately poked fun at Donald Trump for not being invited to the event:

I don't know about you but I was completely blown away by some of those musical performances. This event drew some of the biggest names in entertainment and politics including all the living American presidents except for one.

In her report, she repeated the idea:

HUEY-BURNS: Joining in on the celebration, all the living former presidents: Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Joe Biden. But President Donald Trump was not invited. Former president Obama criticized his successor without mentioning him by name.

BARACK OBAMA: A belief in the peaceful transfer of power after the people have spoken in fair and free elections.

The Obama obelisk had its grand opening yesterday, so of course the media were all over it this morning. More than a decade since this guy was in office and they're still drooling over him. I guess if he's their only success in 25 years they have to stick with him. pic.twitter.com/y5X9yXCG2U

After getting their digs in against the sitting president, CBS began their adoring praise of Obama, marveling at the self-serving celebrations of the opening ceremony. Eventually, Gayle King brought up how moved she was by Obama’s allegedly brilliant orations:

I took a tour on Wednesday, three hours, and it wasn't enough time…But what got me yesterday were the performances, and Michelle Obama and Barack Obama’s speeches. We all know what great speakers they are, but I think it came flooding back to so many people, how much their words, and how powerful they are. Barack Obama said the most important words in the English language are ‘we’. And I think that speaks volumes for who they are and what they represent. ‘We.’

Gayle King, of course, is a very close friend of the Obamas, being a massive donor to the Democratic Party and going on vacation with the ex-presidential family herself. With that background, it’s unsurprising that she plays off this fairly basic quote by Obama as a rhetorical masterpiece.

This is, however, part of a greater movement by the media, especially CBS, to pass Obama off as some kind of “virtuoso” miracle child who is unifying and non-partisan. Being their only real political success in the last 20 years, without him the media have nothing to work off of. Of course, they could have more to talk about if they just dedicated themselves to fair news coverage, but that would undermine their whole goal as partisan organizations.

The former president led Thursday's dedication ceremony calling for Americans to defend democracy. Caitlin Huey-Burns was there and she is outside the Obama center right now. Caitlin, I was there too, boy, it was such a beautiful tribute to this president. Good morning to you.

CAITLIN HUEY-BURNS: And good morning to you, Gayle. I don't know about you but I was completely blown away by some of those musical performances. This event drew some of the biggest names in entertainment and politics including all the living American presidents except for one.

BARACK OBAMA: Hello Chicago.

HUEY-BURNS: It was a homecoming ten years and $850 million in the making. On a brilliant sunny day, the south side of Chicago officially welcomed the Obama Presidential Center.
B. OBAMA: We wanted it to be a vibrant, living celebration of community.

HUEY-BURNS: Joining in on the celebration, all the living former presidents: Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Joe Biden. But President Donald Trump was not invited. Former president Obama criticized his successor without mentioning him by name.

B. OBAMA: A belief in the peaceful transfer of power after the people have spoken in fair and free elections.

KING: A three-hour tour, because I wanted to see and hear everything. I mean, the tickets are $30, which I think is reasonable, most of it is free. But what got me yesterday were the performances, and Michelle Obama and Barack Obama’s speeches.

We all know what great speakers they are, but I think it came flooding back to so many people, how much their words, and how powerful they are. Barack Obama said the most important words in the English language are “we”. And I think that speaks volumes for who they are and what they represent. “We”.

ABC Venerates Al Gore's Faulty 20-Year-Old Climate Alarmism #Political

As we enter what is predicted to be a relatively mild hurricane season this summer, ABC rushed in to make sure we remember that there's an ever-impending climate disaster just over the horizon. On this Thursday’s episode of Good Morning America, ABC had a segment on the 20-year anniversary of Al Gore’s 2006 climate change movie, An Inconvenient Truth.

After a few minutes of background discussion, the interview between failed presidential candidate Al Gore and ABC’s “chief climate correspondent” Ginger Zee moved to the actual substance of the movie, defending its integrity and reaffirming its message to America:

ZEE: When you see the film, do you feel like it still holds up?

GORE: Unfortunately, yes, and the scientists were dead right on all the important elements of it. And it really is insane that we are continuing to use the sky as an open sewer, and we're trapping so much heat every day. It's equal to the amount that would be released by 800,000 Hiroshima-class atomic bombs exploding every day on the Earth.

ZEE: If the scientists were dead right? Why has so much been made about this documentary in what was wrong?

GORE: Well they cherry picked a few little- you know how many years before the arctic is ice-free?

ZEE: Kilimanjaro.

GORE: Kilimanjaro, the snows of Kilimanjaro are complicated for sure. The main elements, as the scientific community has been very generous to confirm, are right.

Gore asserted that the movie is “dead right” about every important element, shrugging off criticism as “cherry picking” on one or two certain issues.

Later in the ABC news cycle, on ABC News Live, Gore would make a more shocking statement, comparing the climate change issue to slavery:

GINGER ZEE: You say the climate crisis is a moral and spiritual issue, not a political one. Do you still believe that?

AL GORE: Oh, absolutely. And I put it in the context of all of the other morally-based challenges that humanity has confronted: the abolition of slavery, the- women's rights and women's suffrage. The US is hurting. We are hurting ourselves by pretending that it's not real and that we don't need to do anything about it.

It shouldn’t be necessary to point out how outrageously disrespectful it is to compare the enslavement of millions to his dubious fearmongering about the weather, but of course it helps Gore’s agenda so he’ll push it nonetheless. Comments about slavery set aside, let’s look into what the movie claims, to see if Gore is right about its allegedly spotless record.

We see many different assertions about the future in An Inconvenient Truth, some of which Gore mentions as “cherry-picked” in his defense of the movie. The snows of Kilimanjaro, which he predicted to be gone by 2016, are still around in full force two decades later. Hurricane Katrina, portrayed as the herald of increasingly brutal hurricane seasons, was instead a big fluke, with hurricane activity instead remaining standard.

The question isn’t about which predictions were wrong, but which predictions were right? Not many, it seems. Nevertheless, Gore’s movie achieved its goals: not informing, but fear mongering. Its predictions were completely wrong, but it was able to scare people across the nation into supporting radical climate agendas; agendas, which enabled future presidents to undermine critical American energy industries in, favor of expensive and unreliable green alternatives.

Now, ABC has dug up this relic of the past in an attempt to push these same agendas on Americans again. They have no shame in regurgitating the same lies they’ve pushed for two decades. Ignore the failed predictions, guys! Just trust the experts!

ROBIN ROBERTS: Do you realize it's been 20 years since An Inconvenient Truth was released? The academy award-winning documentary about climate change, written and narrated by former Vice President Al Gore.

And Ginger, who is our chief climate correspondent, sat down with him. We've been looking forward to this conversation. Ginger?

GINGER ZEE: Yes. Thank you. You know, Robin, back then, not as many people were talking about climate change, but today, nearly three-quarters of Americans support international combat of climate change and our participation in that. So, Mr. Gore and I spoke about that and so many other things on his family farm in Tennessee.

AL GORE: If you just listen to the silence for a minute and the birds…

NARRATOR: The banks of the Caney Fork River in Tennessee don't look much different than they did twenty years ago. That moment we were introduced to the river and the farm owned by former Vice President Al Gore in the Oscar winning documentary An Inconvenient Truth.

The Media Are Covering Up the Mass Rape of Thousands of British Girls #Political

The American news media are covering up one of the most horrific cases of mass-sexual abuse and violence perpetrated against young girls in recent history.

On Tuesday, an independent initiative in the UK, chaired by Reform MP Rupert Lowe, released a 219-page report documenting decades of rampant sexual abuse, torture, and trafficking perpetrated against as many as 250,000 underage British girls, primarily by Pakistani Muslims. The report details numerous cases of horrific gang rape and sexual torture — some of it too graphic to describe here — which, perhaps most alarmingly, were covered up or even partly facilitated by the British government.

Despite the notoriously leftist British media’s desire to avoid the story, news of the report circulated widely throughout the UK populace. The story was just too big for the media to suppress.

In America, however, where the average person is unlikely to have heard much (if anything) about MP Rupert Lowe and his Rape Gang Inquiry, media censorship is far more likely to succeed at keeping the public in the dark about this modern atrocity.

And censor they have. MRC analysts who examined all coverage on left-leaning cable (CNN and MS NOW) and broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC, and PBS) could not find a single on-air mention of the report as of 4:00 p.m. on June 18, more than two full days after it was published.

It’s not as though these networks are unconcerned with British politics; both CBS and NBC have mentioned UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer on-air as recently as Wednesday, June 17. That same day, PBS aired a nearly 12-minute interview with British Bloomberg reporter Stephanie Flanders, which focused entirely on the dynamics currently at play in UK politics.

Flanders even mentioned Lowe specifically, but only in the context of the “far right” rising to prominence in her country.

The reason for the corporate media’s silence is as familiar as it is predictable: they fear that covering the Rape Inquiry would further fuel anti-immigration sentiment in the U.S., which in turn might cause problems for their favorite pro-open borders political party. Given almost every left-wing journalist in the country voted for a President who spent four years literally flying illegal immigrants into the country on the taxpayer’s dime, it’s no surprise they see this story as too politically dangerous to cover.

The American news media are going beyond abdicating their journalistic duty in refusing to cover so monumental an atrocity, especially one involving one of America’s closest and oldest allies. In refusing even to acknowledge the indescribable suffering inflicted on untold thousands of innocent British girls — some as young as four years old — the corporate media are prioritizing the political prospects of the Democratic party above the well-being of a quarter of a million children.

'Promise of Democracy'! ABC Host Kisses Up to the Obamas Ahead of Their Museum Opening #Political

With the Obama Presidential Center set to open to the public on Friday in Chicago, the liberal media is once again falling on their faces to grovel to Barack and Michelle Obama. ABC’s Good Morning America broadcasted a pre-taped interview with the former President and First Lady on Wednesday, praising the couple ahead of the ugliest museum in history’s dedication and opening.

“I was speechless, which is hard for me to be,” Michelle said to interviewer Robin Roberts in a rare moment of honesty. If there’s one thing we know about Michelle, it’s that she loves to run her mouth on her podcast, where she constantly degrades her husband, or on her endless media promotions.

In the world of politics, both Obamas have appeared on the campaign trail for Democratic candidates such as Kamala Harris, Virginia Governor Abigail Spanberger, and New Jersey Governor Mikie Sherrill, making it hard to believe Barack’s claim they “prefer a quieter life.”

Barack compared himself to George Washington, who retired from the presidency after only two terms in office:

But the Obamas are not relinquishing the spotlight anytime soon. Why would they, when the media trips over themselves to kiss the ground that Barack and Michelle walk on?

Roberts asked if there was “anything in looking back that [Barack] would do differently as President,” but Barack answered like he was trying to pass a job interview:

No mention about how his "Affordable Care Act," which Barack suggested was his "greatest accomplishment," hasn't proven to be affordable at all. Or the failed Libyan intervention, or drone strikes that killed innocent American citizens. Despite those massive mistakes, the media still touts Barack Obama as one of the greatest presidents, but if they had been interviewing Trump, they would have attacked him for tiny things like his mean posts and comments before even getting to anything he did with the military.

Roberts is probably referring to abortion, which the administration hasn’t touched, but she didn't attempt to explore exactly which freedoms were "being taken" -- as if the Democrats aren't the party that typically finds there are just too many "freedoms."

Barack closed out the interview saying, “You know, how things get better is, us old folks, we kind of fade, and we got to get out of the way.”

But unfortunately for the rest of us, the Obamas, despite what they and the liberal media say, will keep digging their claws into the American body politic for many years to come.

ROBIN ROBERTS: It's really a special time for them because they are just days away from the opening of the Obama Presidential Center.

And with that comes, yes, reflection on their road to the White House and what was achieved while they were there. We spoke about that and what is happening now to some of the work they did while they were in office.

ROBERTS, VOICEOVER: This morning, the Obamas, just days away from opening the doors to their Presidential Center.

MICHELLE OBAMA: It's done. It's finished. It is opening.

ROBERTS: You had a private moment, able to walk through on your own-

BARACK OBAMA: The two of us for the first--

M. OBAMA: Yeah, yeah

B. OBAMA: --time since the exhibits. And the art has been-

M. OBAMA: Well, the last time I was on this floor, it was still a--

B. OBAMA: We still had hard hats on.

M. OBAMA: I was speechless, which is hard for me to be.

ROBERTS: And people are going to experience that when they walk through these doors. And they're also going to just learn more about your eight years as President of the United States of America.

ROBERTS: And what do you consider your greatest accomplishment?

B. OBAMA: Look, there's a lot of stuff I'm proud of. I - for all the resistance from our political opposition, you know, the Affordable Care Act has--

B. OBAMA: --now helped 50, 60 million people, and continues to help people, even though the current Congress has tried to weaken it and taken away some of the subsidies that were really helping a lot of working people.

The thing I'm probably the most proud of is the tone we set. I'm very proud of the message we sent to the country that we're representing everybody.

ROBERTS: Is there anything in looking back that you would do differently as President?

B. OBAMA: Oh, I - look, there's - I always used to feel like I was making a mistake a day.

The thing that we were good at and allowed me to sleep at night and get up and go back at it, was I always felt that when we made decisions, we were making decisions with the American people in mind.

ROBERTS, VOICEOVER: From Barack Obama's time as a State Senator--

B. OBAMA: Hope in the face of difficulty, hope in the face of uncertainty.

ROBERTS, VOICEOVER: --to the Presidential campaign trail--

ROBERTS, VOICEOVER: --the Obamas leaning on their message of hope.

ROBERTS: Could that movement that you started then, could it happen now, Mrs. Obama, do you think?.

M. OBAMA: It can always happen, you know. People just have to be fed up enough. They have to want more.

And I think the Presidential Center hopefully will remind people of just how close we are to move in this country in the direction that we want to move it in.

You have one exhibit where people thought that it could never happen, that a Black man, a Black family would never live in the White House, that America would never accept that. And lo and behold, the whole country, you know, the vast majority of the country believed differently.

ROBERTS: Mr. President, when you left the office, I remember you saying this:

B. OBAMA: I want to, be quiet a little bit and not hear myself talk so darn much.

ROBERTS: But you also said when core values may be at stake, it would merit you speaking out. How have you been able to find that balance?

B. OBAMA: I - you pick and choose your spots. I'm not suggesting I've done it perfectly.

You know, my goal was to, you know, look at the example of our first president, George Washington. You know, he kind of - I don't have a horse to get on, but he kind of said, 'All right, I've done my stint, and now I'm going, you know, back home.'

And I think Michelle very much would prefer a quieter life for us. And on the other hand, there have been some folks who would like to see me out every day, right, banging the drum.

What I've tried to do is to move from player to coach. Part of our foundation mission here is, how do we encourage the next generation of leadership?

ROBERTS: And walking the halls here, the museum really, it's about the promise of democracy. And it's very difficult for people right now when they feel a lot of their freedoms are being taken from them. They're very familiar now with Project 2025, many of your policies are being rolled back. How do you when you see these things happening, how do you deal with that?

B. OBAMA: There has always been sort of contesting stories in America. One story is, you know, the - 'we find these truths to be self-evident, that all men, all people are created equal, endowed with certain unalienable rights.'

But there's always been a part of this, our story that is about the strong trying to dominate the weak. This country wasn't designed to be everybody marching in lockstep.

The premise of this country is everybody gets a right to say, 'No, I don't agree with that. I challenge that. No, Obama, I think you're making a mistake.'

You know, and then we have a conversation about it, and then it gets settled in an election and, all right, if enough people decide I didn't know what I was doing, then you move on to the next person.

ROBERTS: And the next election we have coming up is a midterms.

B. OBAMA: That's correct.

ROBERTS: And both parties, the polling numbers are very low for both parties.
B. OBAMA: People are a little discouraged right now. But I - again, I believe that we go through these cycles, and there is going to be a younger generation that pops up and they're going to be leaders who pop up where people go [snaps].

Michelle's mom was always good about saying this: 'You know, how things get better is, us old folks, we kind of fade, and--

M. OBAMA: You gotta get out of the way.

B. OBAMA: --we got to get out of the way.'

ROBERTS: And the Obamas are keenly aware of their place in history, but they are also determined that their part of their legacy is about inspiring the next generation of leaders, as they said, 'to get out of the way,' and their Presidential Center focuses a lot on that.

Yes, there is a lot of nostalgia, but they emphasize it's not about the change that happened for them going from the South side of Chicago, where the museum is located, to the White House, it is their belief that everyone is capable of change and, as they say, 'bring change home.' And you see that outside--

Joy Behar Suggests The View Gatekeeps the Female Vote, All Must Kiss Ring #Political

Following Vice President J.D. Vance’s appearance on ABC’s The View on Tuesday, co-host Joy Behar and the show’s executive producer Brian Teta scurried off to record the daily episode of their Behind the Table podcast to, in part, commiserate about the interview. Generally happy with how it went, Behar predicted that every presidential hopeful needed to visit The View if they actually wanted the female vote in their corner.

At the top of the episode, Teta had praise for how Vance conducted himself:

TETA: So, J.D. Vance was our guest on the entire show today, and how do you feel like it went?

BEHAR: Well, I think that we, you know, we were actually kind to him, I think.

TETA: Mm-hmm I thought he was - I have to say very genial.

BEHAR: Yeah.

“We were able to ask whatever we wanted. And we asked tough questions. He answered, he definitely deflected plenty of them,” Teta added. “But at the same time, he was willing to sit with you guys and have this conversation which I respect.”

Behar chided in response: “Well, he wants to sell a book and he wants to run for president. Let’s be real.”

On their podcast, The View proclaims that "the bar is set" and presidential candidates NEED to come on the show like VP Vance.

Teta proclaimed that Vance had set the bar and that every presidential hopeful now had to visit The View. Behar took it further and said they needed to come if they wanted the female vote:

TETA: What I really like about it is I think now the bar is set and I think if you're running for president, you got to come on The View like J.D. Vance did.

BEHAR: They all will well they have to stop here. They want the female vote. Even if the most of our audience is not Republican.

Teta lamented that they didn’t get to ask Vance all their questions (probably because they kept shouting over and interrupting each other and Vance). Behar predicted that Vance would certainly be back:

TETA: Well, the problem with this, always, is we don't have enough time to get to all the questions.

BEHAR: I know.

TETA: I got a list of 20 more.

BEHAR: Get him back.

TETA: If he'll come back, I'd be happy to have him.

BEHAR: He'll come back.

TETA: You think so?

BEHAR: He wants to run for president, believe me he'll be back.

TETA: All right, so I won't give away any of the questions we had.

While Behar also said she had never voted for a Republican and that Democrats had “good heart[s]” (and the GOP didn’t), she admitted to telling Vance during a commercial break that he had a “good vibe” “for a Republican.”

'Inclusive' Arnold: 'It Makes No Difference If You're a Communist' #Political

Don't laugh! After all, on today's Morning Joe, an oh-so-inclusive Arnold declared: "To me, it makes no difference if you're a Communist."

That Constitutional thingy about presidents having to be native-born Americans? Stuff for small minds. The Austrian-born Arnold and the Ugandan native Mamdani are a match made in . . .

Scarborough and Brzezinski had Schwarzenegger on the show to talk about the so-called "Austrian World Summit" that he is hosting. The goal is to battle climate change, or, as Schwarzenegger suggested, the real focus should be pollution, since it kills seven million yearly vs. only 25,000 by climate change. "I use my movie lines, 'Hasta La Vista, Pollution,'" said Arnold.

A top guest at the "summit" is Kamala Harris, who was seen offering the brilliant insight, based on her experience as California's Attorney General, that there have to be "consequences" for law-breaking. Who knew?

There was no pushback to Schwarzenegger from Joe or Mika. To the contrary, Scarborough unctuously called his spiel, "such an important message."

Then came the signature pivot. Joe teed up Arnold to criticize Trump and Republicans at large about threats to democracy, referencing election skepticism in California and investigations of the Newsoms.

Arnold even managed to work in a humblebrag that, learning from his experience as an immigrant, he donates 1,000 Thanksgiving turkeys every year in East LA "to feed the people that have less money." Mika played off that to end the segment with a closing shot at Trump world:

The guy who ran and won as Governor of California as the rough, tough, Terminator has fully morphed into a Hollywood open-borders, climate alarmist pussycat.

As for MS NOW, it was just another day of liberal-celebrity lectures — zero pushback, maximum virtue signaling.

KAMALA HARRIS: On the issue of what we will do to, to terminate pollution, and to save our planet, the policy must include, and, and my experience as attorney general reinforced that for me, the policies must include accountability and consequences for bad behaviors.

JOE SCARBOROUGH: That was former Vice President Kamala Harris this morning, alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger at the Austrian World Summit taking place right now in Vienna. The summit is celebrating its tenth anniversary this year, with climate leaders from several countries taking the stage to discuss and offer solutions now to fight climate change by bringing together governments, businesses, and individuals. And this year's theme is, 'We Are Unstoppable.'

And Arnold Schwarzenegger joins us now from Vienna. He is, of course, the host of the summit. Governor, thank you so much for being with us. We greatly appreciate it.

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER: Well, thank you very much for having me, and, you know, I just want to, right off the top, correct you, because you said it's climate change. I want you to talk about fighting pollution. Because we have to terminate pollution, and that's what I always say, I use my movie lines, "Hasta La Vista, Pollution."

So this is the kind of things we have to talk about. Climate change, most people don't understand it, and they don't care about any of that stuff. I think they care about pollution, because pollution is the thing that actually kills seven million people a year. You know, climate change, you know, and with all the, the, the bad weather and the storms and the floods and all of this stuff, that kills maybe twenty-five thousand people, which is of course twenty-five thousand people too many, but pollution kills seven million. So this is why I always stress pollution rather than climate change.

SCARBOROUGH: And what are some of the ideas right now that you're hearing this year, that you're getting excited about in some ways to fight pollution?"

SCHWARZENEGGER: Well, you know, the theme of the conference is, that we are unstoppable. And the reason why it is, is because, as you know, in, America, we have an administration that doesn't really believe in pollution being a threat to our health and, that it kills all of these people.

So we want to encourage people here to just say, stop whining about the White House and about them not believing in that. I said, what is it that we can do?, I said. Because it doesn't really matter in the end who is in the White House. What really matters is what we're doing on the state and local level.

I said, we have to rely on ourselves. That's where the action is. And so when you think about, you know, what California has accomplished and what Texas is accomplishing right now, and what Massachusetts is accomplishing and Minnesota and all of those states, it's really remarkable because they just say, Okay we're gonna go and take the bull by the horn create the changes, and we're gonna set goals of updating our renewable energy, lowering our greenhouse gases, and all those kind of things. Let's not wait for the federal government to take the lead, let us take the lead.

So what we are doing is with this conference here is, really encouraging people to go and to just continue working themselves and thinking about what can I do versus what can they do.

SCARBOROUGH: That's such an important message. I, I wanted to ask you, you've, you've said some very inspiring things about American democracy. And I always found that immigrants, have, have a better perspective sometimes than those of us who were born in America and were raised here, cause we just assume that democracy's always gonna be with us. We always assume that everything will always be the way it is.

You've given some very moving warnings in the past about your own family members that have been swept, that were swept up during—World War II, in, in Nazism, and, and, and you've warned Americans against this.

I'm wondering as you look at what's happening with Gavin Newsom and his wife, if you, as you look at what's happening where people are trying to say that California's elections are being rigged. You're the last Republican governor elected in California, and it took 30 days, that's the law.

How are we doing as a democracy right now? What are your concerns as somebody who has a perspective that maybe those of us who were born here don't have?

SCHWARZENEGGER: Well, you know, it doesn't really matter where you live. The most important thing is that we are inclusive, and that we don't hate anybody because they feel differently than we do, or they belong to a different religion than we do, or they're belonging to a different party than we do. And this is the theme also of our conference here.

I tell, to me, it makes no difference if you're a communist, if you're a socialist, if you're Democrat or Republican, or if you come from a dictatorship, it makes no difference.

It's, come here to Vienna, and let's work together to solve this problem and to create a good environment. I think that if we work together, we are much more powerful rather than fighting each other and always alienating half of the people.

So to me, I think going in the direction of kind of like inclusion has always been something that I was taught by people here in Austria, and then when I came to America, I saw inclusion really in the highest level. You know, where people were kind of like really helpful to me as an immigrant that just arrived in America, they gave me pillowcases and pillows and, blankets and dishes and silverware and the black and white TV and all of this kind of things. I was shocked when I came to America and I got this much help.

And I learned how to be generous, and, I do exactly the same thing now. I want to make sure that when it is Thanksgiving, that I go to East LA, and to feed the—people that have less money, and then I donate a thousand turkeys to them on Thanksgiving. I do exactly the things that was done to me when I came to America, and I want to continue the tradition, you know.

And since, and all the other stuff. I'm just in the, if it's bodybuilding, if it's fitness, I deal with the world, so I never ask when I promote bodybuilding or when I promote fitness, are you a Democrat? Are you an Arab? Are you, Israeli? Are you Australian? Are you from Africa? I don't care. I don't care.

I want everyone to be fit, I want everyone to enjoy the motivation when I say, 'Go and train and do something every day.' It doesn't matter what party you're coming from, if you believe in the things that I believe in, I want every, everyone be included. And so this is, I think, when we work on inclusion, I think that we will go and protect our democracy much more.

MIKA BRZEZINSKI: Very different things happening with immigrants today, here in America, that is for sure.

Happy Warrior: The Wildest Moments from Vance Visiting ‘The View’ #Political

Vice President J.D. Vance went into the vipers’ pit on Tuesday, spending most of the 11 a.m. hour with the liberal ladies of ABC’s The View and subjected himself to their nasty nagging. They couldn’t hide their crazy as polite questions quickly gave way to repeated bouts of crosstalk, interruptions, snide comments, as well as screaming and shouting. Not all of it at Vance, but among each other too. Presented below are some of the wilder moments of the whole event.

While Vance was trying to answer a question from pretend independent co-host Sara Haines about immigration, where she demanded he help her try to explain the Trump administration to her kids, fake Republican co-host Ana Navarro interrupted so she could pile on with an unsupported conspiracy theory that ICE was torturing and starving kids in a detention center.

“You talk about moral tradeoffs that result in favoring a strict migration policy without dehumanizing anyone,” she chided. “But listen, over 50 people have died in ICE custody. There are thousands of children, 6,200, that are being held in places like Dilly Detention Center that people that have visited -- I don't know if you have -- talk about the subhuman, infrahuman conditions, the lack of clean water, the lack of medical attention, lack of education.”

Haines then whines to Vance about having to explain to her kids why illegal immigrants are being deported.
Navarro then pounces and spews lies that children are being tortured, starved, and made ill in one ICE facility.

As Navarro continued to ramble, co-host Joy Behar had to step and tell her to let Vance respond (Click “expand”):

NAVARRO: I would urge you as a Christian and as a father to visit those detention centers where the children are being held, and make sure that the conditions are up to the values that we hold in this country.

JOY BEHAR: Let him answer.

[Applause]

VANCE: You have thrown a lot at me and I see we have 30 seconds left here, but let me say -

NAVARRO: You are the vice president. You can go long.

During the interview, Navarro was a near-constant problem for moderator Whoopi Goldberg.

As they were approaching a commercial break and Vance was wrapping up a response to a question from Goldberg and co-host Sunny Hostin about race (because of course it was), Navarro tried to squeeze in a question about Michelle Obama. This caused Goldberg to clap her hands vigorously and scream to God to get Navarro shut up:

VANCE: I’m telling you, we celebrate black history. We celebrate all American history in this administration. You guys might be skeptical of this, but I promise you it’s true.

NAVARRO: Can I ask you about a specific piece of black history?

GOLDBERG: He’s gotta - I gotta -

NAVARRO: Do you think the attack on Michelle Obama -

GOLDBERG: I have to go to break! [Claps her hands] ANA, GOD PLEASE!

NAVARRO: - should have been condemned by the White House?

GOLDBERG: We have more with Vice President J.D. Vance when we come back.

“Don't do that!” Goldberg scolded Navarro, in possibly a hot mic moment.

The question from Goldberg and Hostin that Vance was trying to answer was one based on another conspiracy theory that suggested the Trump administration was trying to erase black history and black people from society (Click “expand”):

GOLDBERG: There's so many. You know, where they’re taking down the actual history that happened in this country. Slavery happened. All kinds of stuff happened. And it seems that it has been very easy for this administration to remove that and also to denigrate black folks who have worked their behinds off to get this American dream. How - I mean, you know better!

[Applause]

VANCE: Let me - So, Sunny, that was actually very helpful intervention because I think the story you are talking about is where allegedly the administration is holding back the appointments of people based on skin color.

HOSTIN: I’m talking about a host of things. I’m talking about black history getting erased from public spaces. Black voter districts are being dismantled. Black leaders are being sidelined from our ranks. Where do Americans of color fit in this vision?! Because it doesn't seem like we fit!

VANCE: I think, Sunny, my view -

As Vance was trying to answer, Navarro interrupted again with her own crazy claim that, “since October of last year there's been something like 6,668 refugees allowed in the country. All but three were white South Africans.” “I'm very skeptical of that number because we have a lot of different immigration pathways in the United States of America,” Vance said before pivoting back to Goldberg.

At one point, Goldberg had to shout through crosstalk to ask Vance an equally ridiculous question: “No, no! Let me do my follow-up! Let me do my follow-up! Because you were talking about people. What did black people do to this administration that has allowed it to really stigmatize folks of color?”

When Vance was finally able to respond, he accurately pointed out that she essentially accused the administration being “anti-minority or anti-black,” Goldberg snapped at him and declared: “NO, I didn't say that! (…) Don't start any stuff with me man.”

For Hostin’s part, she accused Vance of “separating families” with ICE arrests, as if normal arrests didn’t do the same thing. In response to Hostin pushing the conspiracy theory that the administration was “using children as bait” to arrest illegal immigrants, Vance tried to note that the Biden administration had lost over 300,000 migrant children, but Hostin wasn’t having it (Click “expand”):

VANCE: So, you talk about the children. Here’s what I’d say: do we know that during the last administration we had tens of thousands of children who were sex trafficked by the cartels, who were brought into our country in profoundly dangerous and predatory conditions --

HOSTIN: Talk about this administration!

There was actually a nice moment at the end of the show.

As Behar tried to monopolize the last “10 seconds” of the show with another accusatory question, faux conservative Alyssa Farah Griffin interrupted and gifted Vance a View-branded onesie for the baby he and Second Lady Usha Vance were expecting.

By the end of the show, Goldberg looked exhausted. Since The View was so highly curated to only allow one political opinion, it's not often that Goldberg had to do her job and actually moderate. The rest of the cast were certainly testing her.

Look, law enforcement - What I’d say about this: law enforcement is always inherently not a very pretty process. Especially when you dealing sometimes with violent people, with people who are resisting arrest. Some of the people that I have been told by the media were completely peaceful, have never violated any laws, you look actually look into the record and find out that those people were actually being violent or they did have a criminal record. They had a sex traffic conviction.

SUNNY HOSTIN: The majority people don’t have criminal records, the majority of people that ICE is rounding up and taking out of their homes from their families, they are separating families, they’re using children as bait, the majority are not criminals!

[Applause]

VANCE: But can I respond to that? Guys, let me just say this. Okay. So, you talk about the children. Here’s what I’d say: do we know that during the last administration we had tens of thousands of children who were sex trafficked by the cartels, who were brought into our country in profoundly dangerous and predatory conditions --

HOSTIN: Talk about this administration!

VANCE: But here’s the point, unless you enforce the border, you invite that conduct. You think that our immigration policies are inhuman based on the reporting of one person with a political bias. What I'm telling you is that it's inhumane -

VANCE: - to allow cartels to sex traffic people across our border.

NAVARRO: And you guys have done a great job of closing the border.

VANCE: But let me answer your actual question there.

What I'm saying, I think -- Okay, look at Washington, D.C. One of the most Democratic and one of the blackest - by share of population - blackest cities in the United States of America, has seen a radical decrease in violent crimes and sexual assaults and murders. We have tried to take the crime issue seriously in part because we believe everybody, whether you are black or white or rich or poor, deserves to live in a safe neighborhood.

GOLDBERG: But why was - why does the crime - where does the crime step in? This is not about crime. This is about --

HOSTIN: 300,000 black women lost their jobs!

[Crosstalk]

GOLDBERG: This is about human rights, sir.

VANCE: What you are saying is, we have to do more on the economy.

HOSTIN: And black history has been erased from public spaces!

VANCE: Black history is not erased from public spaces.

HOSTIN: That is true.

VANCE: That is not right.

Katty Kay’s Iran War Conclusion: Allies Like South Korea May Develop Nukes #Political

In her way of a conclusion to the Iran War, which seemed poised to end after a negotiated deal ahead of President Trump’s G7 world leader visit to France, frequent Morning Joe guest and BBC U.S. special correspondent Katty Kay said the War with Iran might push more countries to get nukes, like… South Korea.

While her thought on the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia shifting towards nuclear weapons might have made sense, she decided to lump South Korea and Japan into the equation, two countries that already would be protected under the U.S. nuclear umbrella as military allies.

Saudi Arabia and the UAE were also allies, who would be protected by the US military anyway, as seen during the war of the past months.

Host Joe Scarborough asked Kay, in future history, “whether this war stopped Iran from gaining nuclear weapons or not will ultimately be how it will be measured?”

Kay framed her answer in a nuclear lens entirely, and claimed the war, in which the U.S. bombed a country, Iran, harshly for a long period of time, especially at the start of the war, would lead to more nuclear programs around the world:

Look, I think we might even take it one step further, Joe, and look, not just at Iran, but whether this war in some way contributes to making the world a less safe place because it ushers in a period of nuclear proliferation around the world.

She first started her answer with the possible thought of nuclear development in Middle East allies Saudi Arabia and the UAE, which made some sense, as their regional enemy, Iran, will seemingly remain a large threat if they do not hold their end of the new negotiated deal years down the line.

But as she expanded her answer, Kay still had not brought up any enemies of America and she instead mentioned allies of the U.S. on the coast of the Pacific Ocean:

You can look at countries like South Korea, Japan, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, how many countries around the world that have been happy to pull back from having nuclear weapons up until now may look at what happened to Iran and think to themselves, you know what?

What happened to Iran did not happen to North Korea. And what's the difference? North Korea has a nuclear weapon, and Iran had not actually developed one.

As a correspondent for the BBC, maybe Kay should have been updated on reporting from the BBC on a 2023 deal for South Korea to be protected by U.S. nuclear submarines. As for Japan, they were also protected by US nuclear weapons, as said in a statement their foreign ministry released just a week ago.

So, in all, Kay believed the bombing of an enemy country, Iran, over nuclear weapons, which the BCC reported had left much damage to 50 Iranian military bases, will lead to US allies making nuclear bombs, even though they were protected by U.S. weapons?

Just a normal start of the week to a program that just saw its show cut by an hour.

I think America has done such damage to its standing as a provider of security for countries around the world. I mean, just if you were sitting in Dubai or Abu Dhabi today, you would have serious questions about whether you could rely on the United States long term, and you might have more questions about whether, actually, would I be better off having a nuclear weapon myself?

But looking forward, I think there is a grim chance that this has ushered in a period of more nuclear proliferation and therefore less security for the world, even beyond the question of what happens to Iran's nuclear program.

The Washington Post is still a leftist rag. On Monday, the Style section front page carried an enormous photo with text over it: “Social media star Ms. Rachel visits Capitol Hill, armed with letters and drawings from children in ICE custody.” Below the fold was the headline: “A woman in pink. A plea for the children.”

Feature writer Caitlin Gibson's copy on the Style front-page was all propaganda against family detention of illegal aliens at a processing center in south Texas. She began:

Rachel Griffin Accurso — Ms. Rachel, to her millions of followers — made her first visit to Capitol Hill on Tuesday afternoon, wearing a bubblegum-pink linen suit and wheeling a black suitcase filled with stapled packets of handwritten letters and drawings. They were the words and artwork of children, all of whom have been — or remain — in the custody of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement at the nation’s only family immigration detention center.

“I cry a lot,” read one letter from a 7-year-old boy held at the Dilley Immigration Processing Center in South Texas. “I want to get out of here.” Among the illustrations were portraits of crying faces, families standing together behind bars and a red house that a 9-year-old child longed to return to. Accurso clutched one packet in her hand, ready to offer it to the first lawmaker she encountered.

Griffin was greeted by ICE-crushing Sen. Andy Kim (D-N.J.), but the reporter tried to claim this was a “new foray,” and then acknowledged there’s been activism before:

It was a new foray into the political realm for the early-childhood educator, who became the reigning star of children’s media with her wildly popular educational videos on YouTube and Netflix. Through her adult-facing social media platforms, Accurso has also emerged as a powerful advocate for vulnerable young people around the world, making headlines — and sometimes drawing backlash — for speaking out on behalf of children in Gaza, Sudan and other humanitarian crisis zones.

Last summer, CNN/PBS host Christiane Amanpour was hailing Ms. Rachel as she accused Israel of "genocide" in Gaza. In fact, Caitlin Gibson and The Post published a previous puff piece on the Activist Kid-Vid Star as an activist last July.

Now, Gibson touted how Ms. Rachel just visited the Delaney Hall facility in New Jersey, and "sang a song written by the Peace Poets along with children detained at Dilley: “I’ll sing from here and you sing from there, together we’ll sing down the walls everywhere.”

The Post piece did include three perfunctory paragraphs of rebuttal from DHS and Core Civic, the firm running the Dilley facility. But everything else was pushing leftist activists and their Evil Trump Empire line:

This underscores the value of Accurso’s work and platform, said Elora Mukherjee, an attorney who represents numerous families detained at Dilley and serves as director of the Immigrants’ Rights Clinic at Columbia Law School. With her vast audience, Accurso represents a different way to inform people, beyond the reach of mainstream media: “Overwhelmingly, the American public still does not realize that, as a nation, we are imprisoning babies, toddlers and children who have done nothing wrong,” she said. “Sustained attention on cruelty against children is critically important.”

The Post touted activist Faisal Al-Jaburi:

Culture often shifts before the law does, he said: “We will not see policy change until the public demands it. And that is what gives me hope when people like Ms. Rachel turn their spotlight onto a cause like this.”

That spotlight is turned on by The Washington Post and PBS and other publicity organs that don't want any deportations at any time, for any reason.

The View HATES New Poll: Young Americans Becoming Socially Conservative #Political

Another day, another comical display of hypocrisy from the ladies on ABC’s The View. On Friday’s program, moderator Whoopi Goldberg began a segment discussing a new poll showing shifts towards social conservatism among the American public, particularly the youth.

Goldberg was especially concerned about the growth of religiosity in young men, mocking the idea with a faux-inspired voice:

An article in The Independent points to factors like the administration's focus on Christianity and limiting access to contraception along with a sharp rise in young men finding religion. Wow. What would you make of this shift?

Out of nowhere, she accuses young men of wanting to have total control over their wives, latching onto ‘the man-o-sphere’ and rebutting the hypothetical misandrist young men living in her mind:

GOLDBERG: I think what they're talking about is because we've heard so many young men, we've talked about so many young men, they want their wives to cleave to them, and to do what they’re told-

HAINES: It’s the manosphere.

GOLDBERG: It’s the manosphere that wants their way, they want you to do what they want you to do. Now that ship has sailed.

HAINES: Yes, it has.

GOLDBERG: I don't think there's a lot of women who are going to tell you it's okay for you to make that choice for them. They'll say, I'll make that choice for me—

HOSTIN: Correct.

GOLDBERG: —but you cannot make it.”

Ironic to be judging young men for their return to religion and then flippantly accusing them of misandry, given what Goldberg says about people being judgmental mere minutes later:

But to judge somebody for their choice whatever choice that happens to be, if you're not paying their rent and you're not blood-related and you're not their mother, shut up! Shut up!

The View decry young men finding religion, giving their lives to God, and starting a family.
They claim they just want subservient wives and that it's part of the evil "man-o-sphere."

If Goldberg were to listen to her own advice, she could “shut up” with her unfounded accusations against young men. Of course, Goldberg doesn’t really mean what she says about not judging. Her entire show revolves around judging people for what they do. What she really means is, “shut up” if you’re criticizing something she likes.

Aside from Goldberg’s hypocritical comments on religion, the cast also delved into a discussion about fidelity, proving how out of touch they are with society in the process.

In regards to that same polling showing an increase in disapproval towards adultery, The View cast said this:

SARA HAINES: It's weird because, like, the part about, like, infidelity, people having affairs—

SUNNY HOSTIN: Yeah. Good point.

HAINES: —doesn't really enter my mind anymore. Like—maybe that's sad, maybe it's not, I don't know, but that seems really basic these days.

ALYSSA FARAH GRIFFIN: Yeah, it's not even a deal breaker for politicians.

HAINES: It's not. In fact, you can have five wives—I mean, not at the same time, not at the same time! But like—

HOSTIN: Well, some places.

HAINES: —you can just keep getting married and, like, no one cares.

No one cares about affairs, apparently! However, this isn’t actually that strange of a take coming from The View. These are the same people who bragged about how easy it would be to cheat on their husbands. Of course they aren’t really concerned about adultery.

For the average person, however, it’s a shocking transcript. The strangest part about the segment is how confused the cast are about the stats. They can’t even imagine other people caring about cheating.

Shaken, Not Woke: Actor Idris Elba Says James Bond Should Remain a White Male #Political

While we have no delusions of Hollywood ever coming to its senses, it was still a breath of fresh air to see an actor as talented and respected as Idris Elba speak out against wokeism in entertainment. The actor recently told British GQ magazine that the iconic character James Bond should remain a white man rather than having his race or gender changed.

Amazon MGM Studios is actively searching for a new Bond now that actor Daniel Craig has stepped down from the role after portraying the debonair 007 spy for the past 15 years. In the British GQ interview, Elba was asked about rumors he might take over the role:

“It was never legit. It was always just a rumour,” says Elba. It started at the Italian premiere of Quantum of Solace, held a day after the 2008 US presidential election; Daniel Craig said that Barack Obama’s victory suggested we had reached the time for a Black Bond. Elba says fans simply took it and ran with it. “I’ve always felt that it’s not a realistic thing,” he says. “James Bond was written how he was written for a reason. But I was complimented by it…And also, I think, in realistic terms, some markets just don’t go for that. Bond is big all over the world. And [audiences] won’t [all] go for a Black male, an African male, playing Bond. That’s not what they like in their culture. Period.”

He also believes that changing Bond isn’t really necessary. “Bond is so unrealistic, so a hint of reality is good, but let’s not try and make it woke. I think you’ve got to be pure to what it is: escapism. Don’t try and answer the world’s taste. Just be Bond.”

As Breitbart reported, the Luther actor has spoken out before about race in entertainment, telling Esquire magazine he no longer considers himself a “black actor”:

“As humans, we are obsessed with race. And that obsession can really hinder people’s aspirations, hinder people’s growth. Racism should be a topic for discussion, sure. Racism is very real,” Elba said. “But from my perspective, it’s only as powerful as you allow it to be. We’ve got to grow. We’ve got to. Our skin is no more than that: It’s just skin.”

Craig, who portrayed the 007 agent in the last five films, had an interesting reaction when asked if there should ever be a gay James Bond:

Still, Entertainment Weekly put out a very woke list of their top 10 picks for the role last year which only included 3 white men:

It’s strange how the left believes changing fictional characters to fit a woke agenda is “progress.” How progressive is it, really, to give a recycled white role to a black person instead of honoring them with their own, unique character? How feminist is it to give a woman the recycled role of a man instead of creating a strong, original female character for her?

Actors as talented as Elba deserve better, as does a role as established and iconic as James Bond. If studios want to create memorable characters that resonate with modern audiences, they should do the hard work of building something original instead of revising what already exists and calling it progress.

MS NOW’s Noriega Warns of World Cup Unrest in ‘Moment of Great Turmoil’ #Political

As the World Cup opened in the U.S. in Los Angeles on Friday, MS NOW’s David Noriega warned of possible political unrest in America amid the start of global soccer tournament. He said the World Cup was a window into “the politics of a host nation and into the geopolitical moment,” which he referred to as the U.S. hosting in “a moment of great turmoil.”

Noriega's fearmongering came after MS NOW Reports connected the expiration of the FISA warrant program, set to expire on Friday, to the start of the World Cup.

He then began his portion with an explanation of the security challenge of the World Cup, and explained possible protests that were, of course, anti-Trump.

The LAPD told Noriega they “expect protests,” which Noreiga expanded upon and stated, “The protests could come from any number of places: anti-ICE protests, anti-Trump protests.” He also mentioned possible anti-Iranian Islamic Regime protests “by Persian communities in LA against the presence of the Iran team, the team representing the current Iranian regime here in the United States.”

He also talked about LAPD staffing shortages and noted the federal government was essentially funding the police department through special programs from the Department of Homeland Security.

Noriega turned to talk about the politics of the moment, relating back to his mention of possible anti-Trump administration protests. He mentioned the “global significance” of the tournament before he came back to politics:

The World Cups are always sort of a window into the politics of a host nation and into the geopolitical moment.

In what could be described as a warning or a moment that framed the U.S. as an unstable country, he related the security of the World Cup events back to American politics and the period of global conflicts:

And in this moment, what we're seeing is the U.S. co-hosting this event in a moment of great turmoil and uncertainty and instability (...)

Noriega then opined there could be threats and unrest, from even possibly Americans: “(...) That's going to show up in a lot of different ways, whether it be threats or unrest from the American people themselves or something that we can't, at this point, even predict. “

Noriega’s reference to unrest from the American people seemed to frame his entire words about “a moment of great turmoil” as a hit on American politics and the current Republican administration.

The fear of some international reporters - even American reporters like Noriega - who wanted to frame everything as a referendum on Trump policies was astounding. They have pumped out constant disapproval and a barrage of stories about denial of entry to a Somalian referee who has alleged ties to people associated with terrorism, even as a Democratic representative said it seemed to be a valid denial.

DAVID NORIEGA: We spoke to the LAPD’s head of the incident command division, who said that they expect - it's a citywide challenge. They expect, for example, protests. The protests could come from any number of places: anti-ICE protests, anti-Trump protests, but also, interestingly, in advance of Iran's first game in the United States on Monday, protests by Persian communities in LA against the presence of the Iran team, the team representing the current Iranian regime here in the United States.

The LAPD, Alex, has been facing pretty substantial staffing shortages for years at this point. When we asked them how they were sort of managing that in the face of this massively complex security event. They told us that they're confident. They're not worried about it at all, mainly because they have a bunch of overtime for their officers. That overtime comes primarily, or not primarily, it comes largely from an influx of funding cash from the federal government, the Department of Homeland Security. They're also working with the FBI, for example, on a counter-drone program. Cheap commercial drones are everywhere now, and they present a potential security threat.

Look, when I look at all of this, everything that I'm telling you, what I see is that this is a massive, globally significant event with huge crowds. The World Cups are always sort of a window into the politics of a host nation and into the geopolitical moment. Furious Lawrence O’Donnell Makes Secretary Rubio’s UFC Remarks All About Trump #Political

The lying media enters the octagon! This time, on Thursday’s broadcast of MS NOW’s The Last Word, host Lawrence O’Donnell went fully unhinged over innocuous remarks from Secretary of State Marco Rubio at that day’s official memorandum of understanding (MOU) signing ceremony with UFC CEO Dana White.

Rubio gave a short speech praising the company for reflecting American values:

When President Kennedy announced that we were going to put a man on the moon and return him safely to the Earth, no one thought that was possible, and we did it. We are a nation founded on doing what no one else dared to do, and no one else aspired to do.

And at some level, that's what this whole company, what UFC has been.

But O’Donnell, as he always does, turned right back around and made it all about Donald Trump:

That is some deeply perverted stuff. How desperately twisted can your mind be to compare President Kennedy's announced plan for American astronauts to reach the moon with Donald Trump's despicable vulgarity in bringing the UFC, the Ultimate Fighting Championship to the White House?

While it's clear that Trump is a big fan of wrestling, Rubio never once mentioned Trump by name in his speech, because the speech wasn’t about him, but evidently O’Donnell couldn’t resist another chance, no matter how slight, to display his severe case of Trump Derangement Syndrome on camera.

Clearly, Rubio was talking about the United States of America “doing what no one else dared to do, and no one else aspired to do,” but O’Donnell acted like the nation’s name was Donald Trump:

He's [Rubio’s] right that no one, of course, aspired to do anything that Donald Trump is doing in the White House, anything that Donald Trump is doing to degrade the White House.

Never mind that Teddy Roosevelt was known for wrestling people inside the White House, or that Bill Clinton and JFK himself infamously degraded the place in "deeply perverted" and "despicably vulgar" ways.

O’Donnell then smeared Rubio as a liar:

Marco Rubio says 'no one believed JFK when he said we were going to do that.' He's lying. We did think it was possible. And President Kennedy simply saying it made more people believe it was possible... Everyone in the world could know then that the President of the United States would not have announced the plan to send astronauts to the moon unless the President knew it was possible, knew it could be done, and knew it would be done.

The left loves to draw fake historical parallels, but this one from O’Donnell makes even less sense than usual. President Kennedy’s promise that the United States would send a man to the moon by the end of the 1960s was so noteworthy because it was seen as impossible. Kennedy acknowledged that opinion himself, famously stating that America chooses to do these things “not because they are easy, but because they are hard.”

So, maybe O’Donnell needs to calm down a little, switch out his hearing aid for one that doesn’t insert Trump’s name into random sentences, and read a history book.

What Marco Rubio is right about is that no one else would dare to do that. And more importantly, he's right that no one, of course, aspired to do anything that Donald Trump is doing in the White House, anything that Donald Trump is doing to degrade the White House.

But what Marco Rubio is lying about is that when President Kennedy announced that we were going to put a man on the moon, saying 'no one thought that was impossible - that no one thought that was possible,' that's a lie.

Marco Rubio says 'no one believed JFK when he said we were going to do that.' He's lying. We did think it was possible. And President Kennedy simply saying it made more people believe it was possible.

People around the world believed it was possible to send someone to the moon because the President of the United States said it was. And then, of course, the United States proved it was possible and did it.

Everyone knew. Everyone in the world could know then that the President of the United States would not have announced the plan to send astronauts to the moon unless the President knew it was possible, knew it could be done, and knew it would be done.

And now the whole world knows, after The Washington Post documented Donald Trump telling over 30,000 lies in his first term in the White House, that if Donald Trump says it, the whole world knows it's probably a lie.

Our Nation’s Founding Fathers Laid the Foundation for a Strong Gold-Backed Dollar #Political

For almost 200 years after the nation’s founding in the Declaration of Independence, the U.S. could brag about having the world’s strongest long-term currency, with hardly any inflation until the 1960s, the decade when President Lyndon B. Johnson took silver out of our coins. Then, Nixon closed the gold window in 1971. This debasement of our currency was a natural outgrowth of excessive spending by LBJ and by every President and Congress of both major political parties in the 60 years since then.

At the time of our nation’s birth, however, all of our major Founding Fathers spoke glowingly of gold and silver. They had struggled with inflation caused by paper “Continentals,” which flooded the nation then. At one point, in 1779, General George Washington wrote to John Jay, our future first Chief Justice, in a plea for sound money, “A wagon load of money will scarcely purchase a wagon load of provisions.”

Meanwhile, the man most responsible for writing the Declaration was no less eloquent about gold. The Declaration’s author, Thomas Jefferson, said, “Paper is poverty … it is only the ghost of money and not money itself.” Later on, as President in 1802, he wrote to Albert Gallatin, his Treasury Secretary, saying, “Specie (gold and silver coin) is the most perfect medium because it will preserve its own level; because, having intrinsic and universal value, it can never die in our hands, and it is the surest resource of reliance in time of war.”

In retirement, during the War of 1812 and the inflation which followed, Jefferson became even more outspoken in his call for gold and restraints on banks. Writing to John W. Eppes in 1813, Jefferson said:

“If the debt which the banking companies owe be a blessing to anybody, it is to themselves alone, who are realizing a solid interest of eight or ten per cent on it. As to the public, these companies have banished all our gold and silver medium, which, before their institution, we had without interest, which never could have perished in our hands, and would have been our salvation now in the hour of war; instead of which they have given us two hundred million of froth and bubble, on which we are to pay them heavy interest, until it shall vanish into air … The truth is that capital may be produced by industry and accumulated by economy but jugglers only will propose to create it by legerdemain tricks with paper.”

After the war’s end, Jefferson didn’t give up the fight, as he wrote to John Taylor, in 1816, “If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around (them) will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.”

John Adams was the man most responsible for convincing Jefferson to write the Declaration of Independence and later, in 1787, Adams wrote to Jefferson in Paris, “All the perplexities, confusion, and distress in America arise not from defects in their Constitution or Confederation, not from want of honor or virtue, so much as from the downright ignorance of the nature of coin, credit, and circulation.”

Thomas Paine, famous for saying “Give me liberty or give me death,” also spoke eloquently about gold:

“Gold and silver are the emissions of nature: paper is the emission of art. The value of gold and silver is ascertained by the quantity which nature has made in the earth. We cannot make that quantity more or less than it is, and therefore, the value, being dependent upon the quantity, depends not on man. Man has no share in making gold or silver; all that his labors and ingenuity can accomplish is to collect it from the mine, refine it for use and give it an impression or stamp it into coin…. Nature has provided the proper materials for money: gold and silver, and any attempt of ours to rival her is ridiculous.”

All these forces came together in our Constitution, drafted by James Madison, writing: “Congress shall have Power … To coin Money, regulate the Value thereof, and of foreign Coin, and fix the Standard of Weights and Measures.” (Article 1, Section 8), and “No State shall... coin Money; emit Bills of Credit; make any Thing but gold and silver Coin a Tender in Payment of Debts.” (Article I, Section 10).

As our 250th national birthday approaches, maybe some politicians ought to look to gold, not paper!

Major news broke today regarding one of the outright horrors of the previous administration: the trafficking of children brought into the United States as unaccompanied minors. But you didn’t hear about it on any of the evening newscasts at ABC, CBS, NBC or PBS.

KATIE PAVLICH: Welcome back to Kate Pavlich Tonight, where we're learning more about the damage done by the Biden administration's open border policy. Specifically, the failure to protect unaccompanied children from being trafficked. Today, Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche explained the horrific schemes that enabled- that were enabled by the Biden administration. Here it is.

TODD BLANCHE: Criminals, calling themselves sponsors, trafficked these children's the border usually committing fraud to do so. And oftentimes, the children were abused, assaulted and certainly exploited. In some cases, individuals would sponsor multiple children which require them to lie to government personnel and on government forms claiming they were close relatives when in fact, they were not. They would use fake or stolen identities. And make other false claims during the application process in order to obtain custody of the children.

PAVLICH: This is going on as Biden insisted, insisted that his border policy was compassionate while losing track of hundreds of thousands of children. Joining us now with more on this is NewsNation’s Senior Border Correspondent Ali Bradley. Ali, what can you tell us?

ALI BRADLEY: Yeah, hey, Katie. So federal investigators right now are tracking thousands of suspected “super sponsors” as the Trump administration is working to locate hundreds of thousands of unaccompanied migrant children who were released into the United States under the previous administration. Now the Department of Homeland Security is saying that nearly 146,000 unaccompanied minors have been located since President Trump took office. And officials say those children are part of roughly 450,000 unaccompanied minors who are smuggled across the southern border between 2021 and 2024.

Now DHS says nearly 300,000 children still remain unaccounted for. Homeland Security Secretary Markwayne Mullin says DHS, ICE, and the Department of Health and Human Services are working together to track down the remaining minors and identify those responsible for trafficking them into the country. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche says many of the children were exploited by criminal networks working with Mexican cartels. He announced charges against 3 Guatemalan nationals living in Ohio accused of acting as so-called “super sponsors” allegedly tied to multiple cases of migrant children being smuggled into the U.S. using fraudulent documents and false claims of family relationships.

The Justice Department says it's now investigating more than 15,500 “super sponsor" cases where individuals sponsored at least 3 unaccompanied migrant children. Secretary Mullin sharply criticized the Biden administration, accusing it of failing to properly vet sponsors and conduct follow-up welfare checks on children after their release. Now Mullin also says that DHS is investigating allegations of widespread abuse and exploitation tied to these unaccompanied minors. He says that finding the remaining children- that is a top priority, Katie.

PAVLICH: Absolutely horrific but glad that they’re working on it.

The most harrowing number is the 15,500: the number of individuals that sponsored more than one child with little vetting, if any at all. And this has been a known issue for a long time. Thank God for the kids that have been recovered, but close to 300,000 still missing is simply awful.

Sadly, there has been no investigative reporting on this from the Elitist Media. Their role in this matter has so far consisted of little more than sticking their collective heads in the sand and pretending there isn’t a problem. But the issue isn’t going away, especially when the HHS Secretary who oversaw this program is now the Democratic nominee for Governor of California.

Shame on ABC, CBS, NBC and PBS for looking away from a politically inconvenient story.

Trump: Our No-Nuke Deal with Iran Was ‘the Whole Purpose’ of the War #Political

The imminent deal ensuring Iran will never have a nuclear weapon was “the whole purpose” of the war, President Donald Trump explained Thursday at a press briefing announcing that a peace agreement will likely be officially signed in the next few days.

“Just had a big day,” Pres. Trump told reporters, noting that the deal is “subject to finalization of documents” at a signing ceremony expected to take place in Europe, perhaps over the upcoming weekend.

The signing will immediately trigger the end to the U.S. blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, the president said:

“The strait will officially open as soon as we sign, which could be soon, very soon, maybe, over the weekend, in Europe. I won’t be able to be there, but J.D. will be there, the vice president, and some other people.”

“And, most importantly, we have a deal that Iran will never have a nuclear weapon – which was the whole purpose of what we had to go through to get this. That was a very big thing,” Pres. Trump stressed.

Even if the deal isn’t signed this weekend, it “should be done pretty quickly,” because “They want it every bit as much as everybody else wants it,” Trump said.

What’s more, as soon as the agreement is signed, the price of oil will begin to fall significantly, which will help lower the costs of other products, the president said:

“Oil will start coming down. And, when oil comes down, everything else comes down.”

Earlier in the day, in a post on X.com, Pres. Trump reported that he had cancelled the military strikes on Iran in anticipation of the peace deal:

“Based on the fact that discussions with the Islamic Republic of Iran have been brought to the highest level of Iranian leadership and approved, I have, as President of the United States of America, cancelled the scheduled strikes and bombings against Iran this evening. Discussions and final points have been, in both concept and great detail, approved by all parties involved, including the United States, Israel, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Turkey, Pakistan, Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, Egypt, and others. The Naval Blockade will remain in full force and effect until this Transaction is finalized — Time and place of the signing to be announced shortly.”

WHAT?! NYT’s Chief #MeToo Reporter Dismisses, Shrugs Off Platner Allegations #Political

Wednesday afternoon on CNN’s The Arena, panelist and New York Times reporter Jodi Kantor — who won a Pulitzer Prize for her investigative reporting on the #MeToo movement and had her exploits turned into a movie — outright scoffed at the disturbing claims of abusive behavior against Maine Democrat senatorial candidate Graham Platner by ex-girlfriends, ascribing them to disagreements in relationships between two consenting adults.

Needless to say, it’s doubtful Lyndsey Fifield (whom, as I’ve repeatedly disclosed, is someone I’ve known for years) would say her relationship with Platner just over a decade ago was something to wave off.

Host Kasie Hunt had just finished a monologue also seeming to defend Platner on the grounds that, if Republicans elected Donald Trump despite a whole host of allegations against him, then Democrats could do the same.

Asked what she made of “our political moment that voters are willing to overlook” tawdry details, Kantor declared as though she’s the judge and jury that “the accusations against Graham Platner are not classic MeToo accusations” because “[t]hey’re not about a boss and a young female employee being subjected to sexual advances.”

“[T]hey were mostly made in the context of consensual relationships. There are these, like, very sensational texts about sex. There are allegations from former girlfriends that are not — the way my colleagues reported them were not like classic abuse allegations,” Kantor asserted with such gross dispassion.

She went on with gross dismissal of his Nazi tattoo and Reddit posts blaming women for rape: “They were mostly like being his boyfriend gave me a view into him, and I did not like what I saw. His character was scary. He had this Nazi tattoo, etc.”

As for Fifield’s story, Kantor too may as well have told her to suck it up because at least Platner didn’t do what Trump bragged to Billy Bush about doing: “There was one allegation of crossing a line physically, but I think that means that these are pretty different accusations than, say, the one that — the ones that President Trump faced. And, of course, in the Access Hollywood tape, President Trump bragged about grabbing women against their will.”

She concluded with utter shamelessness: “And so, I think it speaks to the kind of confusion of the long post MeToo moment in which, like, gender related accusations get bundled together. But they’re actually very different.”

Thankfully, right-of-center CNN commentator and pollster Kristen Soltis Anderson pushed back (although not in the same way, say, Scott Jennings would have) (click “expand”):

You know, one of the things that Graham Platner said in his comments that you showed earlier in the show was they want to make this just about one moment. But what I’m struck by is it’s not just about one moment with him. It’s not just about one time where he grabbed someone’s wrist. It’s about a time where, as your colleagues reported, he took her and he put her in a room and he closed the door, allegedly, and would not let her out. It’s about the texts to — up to six other women who are not his wife.

So, the problem for Graham Platner is that it’s not just one thing. And when he says it’s not about me, he’s really hoping that it’s not about him. He’s really hoping that the midterm is about Donald Trump, and he may get his wish, ultimately. But I feel like there’s a chance that Democrats look back at a moment like this, where they had someone run against essentially nobody strong in that primary — like, the sitting governor backed out — are they leaving seats on the table in a very favorable environment by choosing candidates who simply are not the A-Team?

Showing how absurd Kantor’s partisan spin was, even liberal CNN political commentator and former Garland Justice Department spokeswoman Xochitl Hinojosa warned her fellow Democrats not to become too interwined with Platner:

“One warning I have for Democrats is...we need women in order to win in 2028. If you are eyeing a run for presidency and you are going out there and campaigning for Graham Platner, I would say that is pretty bad advice that you have been given right now, because, at some point, you yourself will be needed. You need to make the case to women directly. Let Graham Platner do his thing in Maine...I don’t think that national Democrats need to go out there on a limb for him at this point,” she argued.

Former Michigan Republican Congressman Peter Meijer tore into these attempts to defending his bad behavior as well as the particularly offensive nature of minimizing it under the guise of his post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) from serving in the Marines:

He also rejected the comparisons between Platner and Trump because the latter is a singular, history-defining figure (click “expand”):

And you’ve seen a lot of Republicans who say, “oh, well, Trump can do this and he can get away with it. So — so can I?” No, he’s Teflon Don. This guy is a unitary, standalone figure. The political laws of gravity do not apply to him. They apply to a lot of folks who want to be like him. And those folks end up vastly underperforming him in the polls. And I think, yes, absolutely, there’s an anti-incumbent, there’s an anti-establishment sentiment, and that’s an easy thing to play up.

It’s also an easy thing, as you’ve seen with his talk about, you know, Epstein class, and that it’s an easy thing to start to slide in from anti-establishment to anti-Semitic and go down a very dark rabbit hole of conspiracies. I guarantee you watch for when the next shoe drops, who he starts to blame, and how dark this campaign gets.

The Epstein files consumed the next block as Bill Gates spent the day testifying behind closed doors to the House Oversight Committee plus an Epstein-focused excerpt of a new book by Maggie Haberman and Jonathan Swan came out, so of course Kantor weighed in.

This time, though, she seemed way more concerned about those mentioned in the files, regardless of whether they did anything wrong (click “expand”):

Well, I was riveted by Maggie and Jonathan’s excerpt. Their book is called Regime Change. I think it is going to be a blockbuster. And what was so interesting was that you could really see President Trump losing control of the Epstein story, paragraph by paragraph, as they give this internal account of the Trump team trying to deal with it. And part of what is so fascinating about it is that, listen, we’re living through a presidentially led backlash to Me Too, right? The President has appointed himself the chief opponent of this movement. But then what happened is it turned out that people really cared about the Epstein files. They were grossed out by the by, the idea of young women being manipulated by the powerful and the wealthy, and part of the lasting power of Me Too, is that there’s a lot of empathy, especially for very young victims. And so, to see the President sort of hit by, you could almost call it a backlash to the backlash was really interesting.

NBC: Platner Has ‘Energized Progressives’ Despite Tattoo ‘Some Say’ Is a Nazi Symbol #Political

Tuesday was primary day in Maine and three other states, so Maine Democrat Graham Platner’s life of ruin was seemingly unavoidable. While we saw NBC finally get off the sidelines and offer consistent coverage following last week’s allegations by ex-girlfriends in The New York Times, the peacock network gushed Platner’s stormy seas have “energized progressives” and “strengthen[ed] his bond” with them despite a tattoo “some say resembles a Nazi symbol.”

Appearing Wednesday on NBC’s Today, chief Capitol Hill correspondent Ryan Nobles gushed “oyster man” Platner’s “series of scandals” have “seem[ed] to strengthen his bond with a Democratic base, and now he’s prepared to take his progressive message into November.”

Nobles even deployed a classic proverbial drinking game word for conservatives as he huffed Republican incumbent Susan Collins has “seiz[ed] on the reports” against Platner.

Seize! Drink!

Along with ignoring the Nazi tattoo, Nobles bragged, “[t]he oyster man and Marine vet has energized progressives despite facing multiple scandals, alluding to the controversies overnight.”

“His campaign confirming last month that he set multiple women sexually explicit text messages at the beginning of his marriage. And last week, several former girlfriends told The New York Times Platner’s behavior was sometimes toxic and unsettling,” he added.

Before shifting to results in South Carolina and a projection in California that Republican Steve Hilton will advance to November’s gubernatorial general election, Nobles included a disturbing soundbite from a younger, white male in which he laughed in saying “I hate saying this, but sometimes I feel like it’s a lesser of two evils.”

Hours earlier on Tuesday’s NBC Nightly News, Nobles kept it more under control.

While he boasted “[t]he Marine vet-turned-oyster farmer has tapped into a wave of progressive support,” Nobles did say Platner “face[d] several controversies, including past social media posts where he blamed victims for sexual assault,” a “tattoo resembling a Nazi SS symbol,” and “accusations from a trio of former girlfriends...describ[ing] his toxic and unsettling.”

Like we’d see with CBS, Nobles did some man-on-the-street interviews, including an extended soundbite from Maine voters, including the one who had the “lesser of two evils” justification. This time, Nobles included said voter relaying Platner came off as a “down-to-earth” guy.

ABC omitted Platner mentions from Tuesday’s Good Morning America (GMA) and World News Tonight, but came around to it for Wednesday’s GMA.

Correspondent Jay O’Brien made the most of it in the 89-second segment as, unlike Nobles and most of the media coverage surrounding Platner’s Nazi tattoo, he was unequivocal in calling out the “questions about a Nazi symbol tattooed on his chest.”

O’Brien also said Platner’s path to victory was “complicated by a string of recent controversies [about] past, including sexually explicit text messages he acknowledged sending to up to six women when he was first married in 2023.”

“The New York Times also speaking to several of Platner’s ex-girlfriends who described ‘unsettling behavior.’ One even saying that he was physical, which Platner denies,” he added.

CBS’s coverage of the Maine primary was far more substantive and consistent. On Tuesday’s CBS Evening News, fill-in anchor Matt Gutman said Platner has “admitted to a sexting scandal and is now fighting off allegations from several former girlfriends.”

Maine is one of four states where primary voters headed to the polls on Tuesday, and it has one of the most closely watched races in the country, as Democrat Graham Platner seeks to lock up the nomination to take on incumbent GOP Sen. Congressional correspondent Caitlin Huey-Burns said he “has caught fire among progressives” to the point that “many Maine voters told us” they cared more about defeating Susan Collins (and, therefore, Trump) than Platner’s behavior, which she described as “unsettling and toxic behavior” and grabbing by ex-girlfriends.

Huey-Burns has also stood out from ABC and NBC by repeatedly mentioning a devastating Monday Washington Post column from a former top campaign official, who wrote Platner “exhibits a pattern of dishonest behavior that’s impossible to ignore.”

By Wednesday’s CBS Mornings, Huey-Burns returned to say Platner “nodded to some of those controversies” in his victory speech by saying “he’s made mistakes in life, but he vowed to make them proud[.]”

She said he won “despite a number of headline-grabbing controversies” and having been “beset by a series of scandals, including allegations of physical abuse, by a woman he dated over a decade ago, which Platner denied, calling them, ‘politically motivated.’”

Once she touched on results in South Carolina, Huey-Burns cleverly said “Platner may be running as an outsider here in Maine, but last night, Washington top Democrats lined up behind him.”

Ahead of voters heading to the polls, CBS and NBC had reports on Tuesday morning. Zooming in on NBC’s Today, their report marked the first time the new show invoked Platner since The Times story broke featuring allegations from Lyndsey Fifield.

Incredibly, Nobles was wildly esoteric in describing the negative headlines, including the “unsettling” behavior with ex-girlfriends and having had “a tattoo that some say resembles a Nazi symbol.”

Tuesday's 'Today' marked only the second time a morning or evening NBC newscast mentioned Graham Platner since last week's The New York Times article about Lyndsey Fifield.

He gushed that Platner had “set the progressive world by storm” as “a political newcomer, a Marine veteran, and an oyster farmer” (with that last descriptor being dubious).

Over on Tuesday’s CBS Mornings, co-host Gayle King remarked Maine voters have “heard a lot of negative stories about Platner’s relationship with women” and Huey-Burns correctly framed a Platner win as a “test” of “just how much voters are willing to tolerate to ensure success for their party.”

Later, she also brought up The Washington Post column from a former senior Platner campaign official denouncing his candidacy and character as unbecoming.

PATHETIC: Sourpuss NY Times Turns Explosive Jobs Report Into Stock Market Horror Show #Political

It doesn’t matter what day of the week it is. The New York Times will never give President Donald Trump’s economy the time of day, even if the data is clearly pointing to a significant upswing.

Following news that the economy added a whopping 172,000 jobs that completely eclipsed the consensus estimate for an 80,000 increase and saw significant upward revisions for the prior two months, Times financial markets reporter Joe Rennison published one of the newspaper’s nuttier spins, which is a feat unto itself: “Stocks Slide as Investors See Rates Rising After Strong Jobs Data.”

The story was not how the data illustrated how all the talk about an impending Trump “recession” was a load of hogwash. Instead, the story became about investors predictably getting the heebie-jeebies that a much-stronger-than-expected labor market would give the Federal Reserve less reasons to cut interest rates.

Rennison somehow found a way to incorporate the most upside-down interpretation of good news and pass it off as straight reporting:

Stocks slumped on Friday, ending a long run of weekly gains, after stronger-than-expected jobs data raised investors’ expectations that the Federal Reserve will keep interest rates elevated to keep the economy from overheating.

Rennison kept beating that drum: “Higher interest rates raise borrowing costs and lower stock valuations over time, weighing on the market.” Newsflash Rennison: This is not the story!

Even anti-Trump Navy Federal Chief Economist Heather Long had to admit that the latest report from the Bureau of Labor Statistics signaled that the so-called “hiring recession is over.” University of Michigan economist [and MS NOW regular] Justin Wolfers went as far as to say during an ABC News Live segment based on the jobs numbers that “it's time to stop talking about the word recession.” He stated further: “Recessions don't happen when the labor markets motoring along like this.”

It was Rennison himself who stated during an October 20, 2025, Times podcast when the stock market was bumbling along that “there is this relationship between markets and the economy, even if they don’t always send exactly the same message.” Funny how that works now that the jobs market is upending much of the economic doom porn and the impulsive traders in the stock market are making predictable moves trying to anticipate futures as a result. Perhaps the economy is sending a different message than the stock market is at this particular snapshot in time?

Jobs boom? Jobs bust? It doesn’t matter: According to The Times’s logic, Trump loses either way. Remember, this is the same publication that went as far as to make 1.1 percent GDP growth during the first quarter of 2023 under the Biden administration out to be good news.

Ever since his firing from 60 Minutes, Scott Pelley has been on a personal press tour, bellyaching about CBS News Editor-in-Chief Bari Weiss wrecking - in his belief - one of the last bastions of truth in the news media.

Nothing could be further from the truth.

From the infamous Rathergate - where former CBS News anchor Dan Rather and producer Mary Mapes used forged documents in a hit piece about President George W. Bush’s National Guard Service to correspondent Lesley Stahl dismissing President Donald Trump on Hunter Biden’s laptop – even editing out his responses – the long-running show has abandoned journalistic ethics when it comes to covering conservatives and Republicans.

On the flipside, it’s run cover and offered softball coverage for Democrats like President Barack Obama, both Bill and Hillary Clinton, and used deceptive editing tactics to cover up former Vice President Kamala Harris’s gaffes.

NewsBusters Executive Editor Tim Graham put it best in this 2024 column: “Nobody in TV news has been more overpraised than 60 Minutes. This horde of urbane leftist snobs has concocted syrupy minutes for Democrats (especially Barack Obama) and salty minutes for Republicans (especially Trump).”
