Fast & Furious 6 is a ‘freemium’ game. That means that while the game itself is free, you will be frequently hounded to cough up money for in-app purchases. I don’t think it’s as bad in this game as it is in others, but it’s still annoying.

As for the game itself, the graphics are surprisingly good. They’re sharp and vibrant, and do a great job doing the insane lineup of cars justice. Gameplay is about what you’d expect from a movie sidekick like this—cheesy plot and movie cutaway scenes included.

How To Generate Random Passwords On iPhone Using Siri

Welcome my dear reader, a new day and a new iPhone tip waiting for you to check out. When you need to generate a random strong password for your iPhone then I recommend you to ask Siri. Yes, the voice assistant that lives in iOS. You won’t find this trick in Siri’s own listing of commands list, but it’s a piece of cake to use and quite powerful.

But why should I use this ? There are tons of examples where this is useful, but many will find this particularly helpful when you are at a machine without access toKeychain’s generation tool or even command line access, especially if you didn’t memorize or alias the proper command syntax to randomly generate one in the first place. Plus let’s face it, in many situations it’s just easier to ask Siri than it is to launch another app anyway.

So here's how to generate strong random passwords using Siri:
If you want to generate a random password that consists of 8 characters long (default), just tell Siri the following sentence: "Random Password" Just like the following picture:

As you can see from the above picture, Siri's response is an alphanumeric mixed cap of 8 characters, which while ok for many uses, the length is not ideal for many real world situations. For added security you can increase both complexity and overall strength simply by increasing the character length of the generated pass code.

Add Strength & Complexity By Increasing Character Length

You can get much more complex and generate stronger passwords though by specifying a character length as well, to do this just summon siri again and then say “random password 16 characters” like so:

Siri will respond to the query with a completely random password that is quite strong, consisting of random alphanumeric characters with mixed caps.

Siri is wise enough to not vocalize the password that has been created, preventing any nearby individuals from hearing the results, and thus keeping them even more secure and usable. And it’s also smart enough to offer the results in an easily speakable format if you need to relay the generated complex password to someone else over the phone (like saying Alpha Bravo for AB, to prevent misunderstandings and mismatches).

Generated Password Types

If you’re not happy with the initial password provided for some reason, a series of additional randomly generated character sequences are offered below under the “Additional passwords” heading. Scrolling all the way to the bottom will reveal even more randomly generated options of different password types, including:

Case sensitive alphanumeric (letters and numbers, upper and lowercase) – this is the default and the strongest password type
Numeric only (digits 0-9)
Case insensitive alphabet only (a-z)
Case insensitive alphanumeric combination
Case sensitive alphabetic
Case sensitive alphanumeric

BBM Will Be iPhone-Only At Launch

From a few days we've reported to you some great news that BlackBerry announced that its well known instant messages BBM (BlackBerry Messages) will be coming for Android and Apple devices this summer, of course these was the greatest news we could hear.. But todayBlackberry’s software portfolio chief Vivek Bhardwaj tells Trusted Reviews that the app will only target the iPhone and Android smartphones, at least initially. Although he wouldn’t ruled out the possibility of an iPad edition down the road, he didn’t specifically mention it either.

Here’s the quote from Trusted Reviews:

At this point it is iOS and Android, and that’s iOS phones running iOS 6 and higher.

Smartphone is our real focus and again it comes back to what BBM is. If you look BBM and the engagement and the activity, it’s because it is mobile, because people are on the go.

When you start looking at tablets, computers and other screens, the usage model changes and behavior changes. For us right now the absolute focus is getting BBM onto smartphones.

He makes a good point.

Chatting on a tablet is only sensible if you have the device with you all the time. Even though the vast majority of tablet-totting business folks do carry their tablet with them, if there’s any device that’s with us all the time it’s our smartphone.

In fact I agree with him at the above point, my iPad is not with me every place I go, but that's doesn't mean I will never chat with my friends using it..

The iOS edition of BlackBerry Messenger will only work on iPhones running iOS 6 and support the following features at launch, among others:

The immediacy of BBM chats
Multi-person chats
Voice note sharing
BlackBerry Groups, where BBM users are able to set up groups of up to 30 people and share calendar, photos, files and more

As for competition, Google on its part hinted at an iPad build of Hangouts and the social network giant Facebook has been rumored to be working on an iPad edition of Messenger for quite some time.

How To Easily Create Ringtones For Your iPhone Using iTunes

One of the main problems I've met when I bought my iPhone is that I can't listen to the music I love freely without needing to go through many ways and different roads. As most of you know as an iPhone user you can't transfer or receive a ringtone you have listened on your friend's phone, why ? Because iPhone bluetooth is only made for other Apple devices only, and that's the biggest thing I hate in Apple.

But that's doesn't mean you will never listen to beautiful ringtones or etc... Using iTunes you can convert any song or audio clip in your iTunes library into a ringtone with a few simple steps. We’ve got a step-by-step tutorial to show you how to create awesome ringtones that will make you the envy of the party…

All what you have to do right now is following my simple steps after the jump:

STEP 1: Simply launch iTunes from your computer's desktop.

STEP 2: Now pick your song or audio file you want to use from your iTunes library.

STEP 3: Right click on the song and select "Get Info"

In the Get Info window, selection the Options tab and change the Stop and Start Time to read the segment of the song that you want to save as a ringtone. The ringtone length cannot exceed 30 seconds. If you want to start at the beginning of the song, set the start time to 0:00 and the end time to the number of seconds you want the ringtone to be. If you want to start at the chorus of a song, play it first to determine what time the chorus starts and then use that number as the Start Time, and no more than 30 seconds after that as the Stop Time. For example, Start Time – 2:15, Stop Time – 2:45. When you have entered the Start and Stop Time, click OK.

STEP 4: Now right click on the song again and select---> "Create Apple lossless Audio File"

iTunes will take the segment you have just selected from the song in Step 3 and use it to create the new file. A second song with the same name but new length should appear right next to the original in iTunes.

STEP 5: Now the new song file will appear, so right click on it and select "Show In Finder" and if you are a Windows user select "Show in Windows Explorer"

The new song will show up in your Finder window as an .m4a file. Select it.

STEP 6: Rename the extension of the file from .m4a to .m4r. Make sure you rename the extension, not the file. This step is very important. Changing it to .m4r turns the file into a ringtone.

STEP 7: Now go back to iTunes and delete the newly created short song.

NOTE: When asked whether you want to move the selected song to the Trash or keep it in iTunes, select “Keep File.” This step is also important. If you do not remove this song, the ringtone will not save to iTunes properly.

STEP 8: Go back to Finder (or Windows Explorer) and double click on the .m4r file. The ringtone will automatically move to your iTune’s Tone library.

STEP 9: Now connect your iPhone to iTunes.

STEP 10: From there select the "Tones" tab from the iPhone selection.

Under the Tones section, select “Sync All Tones” and then click on the “Sync” button at the bottom of the iTunes screen.

When your iPhone is done syncing, the new ringtones can be found in your Settings app on your device.

Go to Settings> Sounds> Ringtone and select your new clip. These clips can also be used as text message tones, so you can really let your creativity shine.

This Upcoming App Said To Allow For A Fresh Version Of Current Firmware

Probably this happend to you at least once. You have a jailbroken iPhone on a certain firmware, and it’s the last firmware that’s capable of being jailbroken. What happens if you need to restore it? In most cases, you will be forced up to the current firmware. The problem with doing this is that it causes you to lose your jailbreak.

But today we've got some interesting news, it looks like that there is an upcoming app claims to allow jailbreakers to refresh their devices with the firmware that’s currently on the device. For example, if you’re running iOS 6.1.2, you can clean the device and semi-restore to 6.1.2. It’s not a full restore, because doing so would force you to upgrade, but it might be the next best thing, especially if your device is having problems or is running slow.

Here are the requirements according to Semi-Restore’s website:

5-10 minutes of your time!
A computer running Windows or Mac OS X
OpenSSH and APT 0.7 Strict (NOT THE LIB) installed on your device
An SSH client on your computer (USB version coming soon)

If the app truly coming, then this will be a very great news as you will not lose your jailbreak anymore..

Again, the Semi-Restore will only allow you to go to a fresh version of your current firmware. It won’t require any SHSH blobs or APTickets. If it works, this could be a big help for those of you who want a clean slate, yet still be able to maintain a jailbreak.

Are you excited right now and maybe wondering when the app will be released right ? Well until now the app still in beta at 60% completed. The app will be coming for the three platforms- Windows/Mac OS X and finally Linux.

Give Your iOS A Gorgeous Makeover With iMIUI

Do you want to change your iOS makeover and use a new gorgeous one ? Well in case you are looking for a beautiful iPhone theme then I recommend for you to check out a new theme called iMIUI, the developer behind this theme told me that it could be the next ayecon.

We all know that Ayecon is the most popular theme for your iPhone, but after using iMIUI theme I really started to change my mind. The theme is well-made and has got a cool design.

First things first, what is iMIUI? Well from what I understand, MIUI is an Android ROM, built by the folks over at Xiaomi Tech. And iMIUI is a large-scale iOS port of that ROM, wrapped up in the form of a WinterBoard theme.

After installing the theme on my iPhone, I've noticed a great changes in my iOS, all the apps icons are changed to a better view even the stock apps looks great.

Perhaps more impressive, though, are the little touches. Blue accents have been replaced by Orange ones. And both radio buttons and toggles seem a bit more soft around the edges. I must say, the level of detail here is striking.

But above all else, iMIUI is just a really good-looking theme. The icons, which are the most important part of a theme, look excellent. They’re crisp, they’re understated, and very well designed. And the same goes for the various UI tweaks.

So what are waiting for ? Don't you want to free your iOS and make it better than the default look ?

To install the theme, you’ll have to add http://cydia.myrepospace.com/imiui/ to your Cydia sources by tapping Manage > Sources > Edit > Add. It’s iOS 6 and iPhone 5-friendly, but at the moment there’s no iPad version available.

Google Announces New Play Games Services Coming To iOS

If you have been following Google in its I/O developer conference keynote right now, you may have noticed that until now everything is boring. There’s been no mention of consumer products yet, just some talk about developer API access and some new software and services.

Anyway today Google has just announced a new game service. Flying under the Google Play flag, the service resembles Apple’s Game Center, hosting leader boards, achievements, and facilitating real-time multiplayer. Oh, and it’s coming to iOS…

Google will be providing the SDK for its new Game Services to both iOS and web developers, in addition to Android devs. This will enable them to integrate the service into their games, allowing for cross-platform player statistic tracking.

- Achievements that increase engagement and promote different styles of play.
- Social and public leaderboards that seamlessly use Google+ circles to track high scores across friends and across the world.

How To Quickly Remove Services From The Contextual Menu In Mac OS X

A new day and a new Mac OS X tips for Mac users, services and the service menu appears at the bottom of the contextual menu actions when you right-click (or control+click) any item in the Mac OS X Finder. These typically perform various actions, ranging from launching the selected file or folder in a specific app, to conversions that you’ve created yourself through Automator actions. Here is what the Services menu looks like if you are unfamiliar with the name, again this is visible with an alternate-click in the file system:

Some Mac users think that services shown on each Mac can vary quite a bit depending on user built services or ones installed from apps, and though they’re often incredibly useful, some just aren’t necessary and you’d rather them be gone. Whether that’s because their usage is situational, your Services menu is just overloaded with way too many things, or if you just have something in there you don’t want showing up in that right-click contextual menu any longer, that’s what we’ll focus on here; removing items from that list.

Removing Services from the Contextual Menus

To be clear, this removes items, but does not delete the service itself, meaning you can easily go back and re-enable them again should you decide to reverse this and want a service or two back again.

Locate the precise name of the service to remove by summoning the contextual menu from the Finder, in this example we’ll right-click a file and want to remove the “Make Contact Sheet” option from the menu list
Open System Preferences, found within the  Apple menu, and choose “Keyboard” from the preference panel options
Choose the “Keyboard Shortcuts” tab, then click on the “Services” option from the left sides options
Navigate through this list to find the exact name of the service you found in the first step, then uncheck the box next to it

All of the changes will be visible for you in your Mac finder,if you want to remove additional items from the menu just repeat the action and uncheck them for other services as necessary. When finished, quit out of System Preferences.

Note the extended “Services” submenu has also been merged to become part of the general right-click menu because it dropped under 5 items. That’s because the “Services” section becomes it’s own dedicated submenu once more than four items or Service options are available for a given file, filetype, or folder, but with under five items, the Services menu blends into the general right-click menu of OS X.

LockBar Settings: Adds Hidden Toggles To Your Lock Screen

iPhone's lock-screen is a very great place to put things in, so in these few days you should look after your iPhone's lock-screen and make it looks cooler and more functionally, all of these things can be done with a new recently released jailbreak tweak called LockBar Settings as it allows you to add hidden toggles to your iPhone's lock-screen...

I know that there is a hundreds of jailbreak tweaks that can do that, but that's doesn't mean you should ignore LockBar settings. In fact, it’s actually a pretty handy little utility. You see, its toggles stay hidden on your Lock screen until you swipe up, or double tap, on the ‘slide to unlock’ bar to reveal them…

As you’d expect, LockBar Settings Lite has a sizable options menu in the Settings app. Here you can set its activation method—swipe or double tap—and program its toggles. You can have up to 4 of them, and enable them with either a single or double tap.

Unfortunately, there aren’t a whole lot of toggles to choose from. I counted six, including Airplane, Bluetooth, Flashlight, Location, Respring and Wi-Fi. It’s a decent start, but here’s hoping the developer plans to add others, like DoNotDisturb and AutoLock.

Cydia Substrate Makes Its Way To Android Devices

As an Android user you should be happy to hear the following news, today the creator behind Cydia and Mobile Substrate, Saurik, has released Substrate for Android, and he’s created a brand new website to document the new addition to the family.

So what does this means to you ? Well as an Android user you will be able to enjoy installing many awesome jailbreak tweaks on your device like Winterboard and many more tweaks are coming very soon to your Android device, isn't that great ?

To enable Substrate on your Android device, you must first, of course, root the device. According to the Cydia Substrate website, Substrate should work with a variety of Android devices from 2.3 through 4.2.

So after you have successfully accessed to your device root, you’ll need to install the APK, run the application, click Install, and grant Substrate Superuser access. After that, it’s all gravy, or in theory it should be. The APK can be downloaded directly from the Cydia Substrate website, or from Google Play.

Pretty wild, no? I mean, imagine going to the App Store and downloading Cydia. As much as people knock Android for its pseudo-openness, there’s no denying that being able to pull off stuff like this is nice.

BlackBerry: BBM Is Coming To iOS And Android This Summer

Yes what you have read is right, believe it or not, Canada-based BlackBerry today posted a surprising announcement confirming it will be bringing its BlackBerry Messenger platform to Apple’s iOS and Google’s Android platform. Yes, BlackBerry’s killer app won’t be exclusive anymore.

BlackBerry’s move comes amid consolidation in the instant messaging space. Two increasingly popular services, Viber and WhatsApp, recently passed 200 million users each.

With iMessage pretty much ruling the messaging game on iOS devices and Google’s rumored unified chatting platform dubbed Babel expected soon, it is no surprise that BlackBerry Messenger will be available to mobile users who don’t use BlackBerry devices…

The official announcement on the company’s blog lists the following features that will be initially supported on iOS and Android:

The BlackBerry Messenger service will be released for Android and iOS as a free app this summer. Here's the tweet:

According to BlackBerry official blog post, the iOS edition will support hardware running iOS 6 and above. Its Android counterpart will require Android version 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) or later devices.

BlackBerry Messenger claims 60 million monthly active users, with more than 51 million daily active users sending and receiving more than ten billion messages each day, “nearly twice as many messages per user per day as compared to other mobile messaging apps.”

BlackBerry message is very similar to other instant messages as it allows you to quickly send messages, chat with your friends just like Viber and WhatsApp...

Support for voice and video chatting will be added to the iOS/Android build later this year. A future update will also enable BBM Channels, a newly announced social engagement platform within BlackBerry Messenger that lets you connect with the businesses, brands, celebrities and groups.

We are very close to Apple's WWDC 2013 (World Wide Developers Conference) where we are expecting to see the new software for iPhone iOS 7 coming with a new whole design. So it is a normal thing when we see designers making iOS 7 concepts believing what it will looks like.. Today we've got a new iOS 7 concept made by Martin Hajek's and it is really awesome...

His mockups, Hajek explains on his personal blog, serve to illustrate “how Apple might introduce the new, cheap iPhone.” More awesomeness can be found right past the fold…

Many watchers expect the iPod-ification of the iPhone to start with the introduction of the iPhone 5S and budget iPhone, both said to arrive in a variety of vivid color choices.

Talk of so-called less-pricey iPhone has been picking up steam ahead of Apple’s WWDC 2013 conference, which takes place at Moscone West in San Francisco from Monday, June 10 until Friday, June 14.

If the supply chain chatter is to be believed, Apple’s contract manufacturer Pegatron is currently hiring an additional 40,000 workers on top of its existing 100,000 employees, allegedly as it’s getting ready to ramp up production of the budget iPhone.

Parts supplier ETrade Supply, which proved reliable with its past Apple leaks, last week confirmed that such a device actually exists. Despite using a rumored polycarbonate bodyrather than the glass and aluminum two-tone design, the device isn’t expected to skimp on features.

While Apple could opt for a lower-resolution camera, the budget iPhone is said to be powered by Apple’s upcoming A7 chip and feature the same four-inch screen found on the iPhone 5, if not larger.

Facebook App Gets Updated With A Faster Events, Better Places Editing, Souped Up Photo Viewer

The well known social network Facebook is trying with all the possible ways to improve Facebook app for iOS and Android devices, since the major Facebook 6.0 release from about a month ago, the new Facebook version 6.1 enhances your experience with three helpful additions.

Right now your Facebook events will be loading faster than before on your iPhone/iPod Touch And, if you check in to a venue on your iPhone or iPod touch device, you’ll notice that Facebook has improved the Places editing experience.

That's not all, In addition to these two iPhone-specific enhancements, I bet you’ll love the improved photo viewer button on both the iPhone and iPad. For more on that, go right past the fold.

As you could imagine, the enhanced photo viewer button lets you save a photo to your iOS Camera roll or share individual snaps to your friend’s timeline.

Google Now Gives You 15GB Of Shared Gmail, Google+ Photos And Drive Storage

Great news for people use Google cloud, in case you are keeping your images on Google+ photos (formerly Picasa Web Albums), manage documents in Google Drive or file messages with large attachments in Gmail, you are tapping the power of Google’s cloud storage. But up until today, each of these relied on their private cloud locker in the sky, which was inconvenient.

Today Google has just announced giving you free 15GB of unified, free storage shared across Gmail, Drive and Google+ Photos. Previously, Google gave you ten gigabytes for Gmail and an additional five gigabytes of combined storage limited to Drive and Google+ Photos.

The change strengthens the Drive brand while simplifying things for consumers, akin to Apple’s iCloud that comes with five free gigabytes of shared cloud storage…

Clay Bavor, Google’s Director of Product Management, explains in a post over at the Gmail blog how the combined storage space simplifies life for consumers:

For example, maybe you’re a heavy Gmail user but light on photos, or perhaps you were bumping up against your Drive storage limit but were only using 2 GB in Gmail. Now it doesn’t matter, because you can use your storage the way you want.

Even better, paid tiers are now also shared across Gmail, Google+ Photos and Drive.

This is important because previously a 25 GB paid Gmail upgrade was only usable in Gmail. From now on, any additional storage you purchase in Gmail also applies to Drive and Google+ Photos.

How To Easily Bypass The Outgoing Video Size Limit In Messages

One of the main things I hate is that I can't send videos from the messages app longer than three and half a minute and that's bad for some people and I am one of them. But don't you want to enjoy sending unlimited number of videos without facing any walls against you ? That's what many jailbreak tweaks can do like Carrier Unlimited Media Send and iMessage Unlimited Media Send. They’re essentially the same tweak, just with different purposes; one for SMS and one for iMessage.

Any jailbreak tweaks from what I've mentioned above doesn't requires any controls as there is no settings or app icon for the tweak. Just after installing one of the above jailbreak tweaks on your iPhone you are going to notice a great difference when sending videos from the message app...

The only real issue I see with the two tweaks is data usage. I’m fortunate enough to still have an unlimited data plan. But for those who don’t, the megabytes can add up quickly when there isn’t any kind of roadblock holding you back.

Bill Gates Recounts Emotionally On Final Meeting With Steve Jobs

Today Bill Gates the CEO of Microsoft company reflected on his last meeting with the later CEO of Apple Steve Jobs, just before his death on October 5, 2011 at the age of 56. According to Walter Isaacson’s official bio book on Jobs, the two talked about their 30-year relationship and rivalry, including the early days of the Macintosh.

Yesterday Bill gates sat down with 60 Minutes’ Charlie Rose to once again recount his final meeting with Jobs. In an emotional outpouring, teary-eyed Gates reflected on the wide range of topics they discussed, including admitting their failure to re-innovate educational through technology. Noting himself and Jobs practically grew up together, Gates noted that “we were within a year of the same age, and we were kind of naively optimistic and built big companies.”

And every fantasy we had about creating products and learning new things – we achieved all of it. And most of it as rivals. But we always retained a certain respect and communication, including even when he was sick.

He showed me the boat he was working on,” said Gates, “and talked about how he’s looking forward to being on it, even though we both knew there was a good chance that wouldn’t happen.”

Gates also acknowledges that Apple’s co-founder wouldn’t lose spirit despite being in the terminal phase of his illness. He said Jobs “knew about brand” and had an “intuitive sense for marketing, which was amazing.”

On Jobs’s design taste:

His sense of design, that everything had to fit a certain aesthetic. The fact that he, with as little engineering background as he had, it shows that design can lead you in a good direction. And so phenomenal products came out of it.

Axis Is The iPhone's Best Lock Screen Launcher

Don't you want to add some cool staff and other functions to your iPhone's lock screen ? So what don't you try this new recently released jailbreak tweak called Axis and from my usage I can tell you that Axis jailbreak tweak is the best iPhone's lock-screen launcher until now..

Axis jailbreak tweak is designed by the developer Sentry, and coded by an enigmatic, but an obviously talented young man by the name of rud0lf77. We’ve had our share of run ins with Mr. rud0lf77 in the past, but talent’s talent, and he’s apparently got some of it.

Those who haven't heard about Sentry, he is a well known designer who made a lot of great jailbreak tweaks, some of them pushed to Cydia and other is under development.

At first glance, his new Lock screen launcher tweak may seem familiar to you. It’s actually pretty similar to the aforementioned Grabby Lock screen launcher tweak recently released by Ryan Petrich. In what seems to have been nothing more than a pure coincidence, both tweaks take the same basic idea, but the approach is different enough to make each tweak stand on its own.

Take a look inside, as we break down what makes Axis such an appealing new tweak. We go hands-on in this detailed video walkthrough.

The first thing you noticed in the above video is that Axis jailbreak tweak looks very similar to Grabby. Like Grabby, it uses the stock Lock screen camera grabber as a basis for its functionality.

Where other tweaks incorporate radical design changes from standard iOS, this tweak logically builds on what’s already in existence.

Axis allows you to use the stock camera grabber to slide towards the left side of the screen. Doing this reveals four additional app icons, which can be launched using a slide up gesture.

The basic idea is that you now have five applications that can be launched like the stock camera grabber instead of one. There are some very subtle differences between the way that Grabby and Axis allow you to select the app that you wish to launch. Grabby features a couple of options — you can slide over the app icon and release, or slide over and then slide up. Axis only allows you to use a slide over and slide up gesture, but it differs in the way that your cursor “snaps” to each app on the Lock screen.

Viewing the video will help you to see what I mean, but I must say that I prefer the snapping action featured in Axis.

It leaves no doubt as to which application you intend to launch.

Axis settings are very easily to be used, and that's something I really thanks Sentry about, as you can quickly configure Axis settings so easily...

Axis’ settings feature the five Lock screen launcher app icons at the top of the screen, and each can be customized according to the apps that you wish to appear. The settings are broken up into different sections, logically arranging the different applications by means of category. You’ll find basic apps, messaging apps, social apps, productivity apps, etc.

To customize the launcher app icons, simply tap the icon at the top of the screen that you wish to customize, and select it from one of the categories below. The nice thing about Axis is that it features built-in support for quite a few custom app icons designed by Sentry himself. Axis can even recognize which apps you have installed on your device, and displays a list of other apps that feature custom icon support as well. Yes, you can add an app regardless of whether or not it features a custom icon. In that case the app icon featured on the launcher will default to one of its standard generic icons.
Unfortunately I do have to say that it’s not all sugar and bunnies. I do have one complaint, and it may prove to be a deal breaker for some of you, at least initially. If you use a passcode, regardless of what time intervals you use to configure it, you’ll have to enter that passcode every time you want to launch an app using Axis. Yep, it doesn’t matter if you don’t require a passcode for 15 minutes, it will still ask for the passcode if you launch an app using Axis. The only exception to this rule is when you have iOS’ stock camera configured as one of your launch apps.

Sentry says that there will be an upcoming version which will fix a lot of issues and that you’ll be able to use passcodes on an app by app basis. Yes, it’s a disappointing thing to encounter for such an awesome tweak, but that’s the reality this early in the game. The good news is that the issue should be fixed in a future version of Axis, and by then you’ll gain even better functionality.

Slide2Kill: Kill Apps In A Single Swipe

Don't you hate the idea when you have to tap on each app you have opened in order to kill it ? I know that making this step will take a lot of time from you, I know that you are getting tired from this and looking for another easy way to use.. So today let me introduce for you a new recently released jailbreak tweak called Slide2Kill and as the name suggests, the tweak allows you to quickly kill all apps in the App Switcher with a single swipe...

Slide2kill jailbreak tweak developed by Suu, The new, aptly named jailbreaktweak allows you to remove apps from your app switcher by either swiping down on them, swiping up on them, or performing a long press hold.

After installing the tweak on your device go to the tweak's settings menu where you can configure its functions and enable/disable toggle, sliders for swipe sensitivity (both up and down), and menus to set Slide Up, Slide Down and Long Press actions.

Each menu gives you two options to choose from: Kill all or Kill single. So for instance, I have my Slide Up action set to ‘Kill all,’ and my Slide Down action set to ‘Kill single.’ I actually really like this setup, it’s very intuitive.

My only problem with Slide2Kill is that it feels like a beta version. Animations are slow at times, and there’s been a few occasions where the entire tweak just quit responding to my gestures. I had to respring my iPhone to fix it.

Increase T-Mobile LTE Downloads Speed On iPhone 5 With This Hacked Carrier Update

As the iPhone 5 launched on T-Mobile’s network, existing AT&T unlocked iPhone 5 customers received a carrier update to enable the LTE signal. As it turns out, in some cases the carrier update added something good with LTE, but negatively affected the signal and speeds achieved on the company’s refarmed PCS 1900MHz network.

Well, remember the guy that worked out how jailbroken iPhone users could enable T-Mobile’s LTE before the aforementioned carrier update? That same clever man has also worked out how to give T-Mobile the bandwidth you’d expect from one of the hottest LTE handsets on the market. And you don’t even need to be jailbroken for it to work…

The process is actually relatively easy to follow, and involves forcing a new carrier update onto the phone in question. The whole thing is laid out courtesy of TmoNews, and it covers both Windows and Mac users so you should be set.

For those who like the geeky stuff, the new carrier update actually enables Release 9 DC-HSPA+ on the iPhone 5. T-Mobile doesn’t actually support that, but switching it on on an iPhone 5 has the affect of opening it up to the increased bandwidth that we’re after. Simple, isn’t it? No, we wouldn’t have worked it out for ourselves, either.

Non-jailbroken users:1.       Plug your iPhone 5 into iTunes and backup the device so you won’t lose anything, just in case. ;)
2.      In the device itself, tap the “Settings” app and navigate to “General >Reset  > Reset Network Settings”
3.      Once you have done that, the iPhone will auto reboot.
4.      Download the hacked carrier update here:http://www.4shared.com/file/WF0uqJL-/TMobile_US_iPhone_Hack.html5.      Once downloaded, your iPhone will boot up into iTunes. Before you do ANYTHING, make sure to decline any and all prompts to update carrier settings. Now you’ll to go ahead and enable iTunes to except custom carrier bundles, if it’s not already.

After this has successfully been entered in, click on the tab for your iPhone 5 and click “Update” or “Check For Update” while holding down the Alt / Option key for Mac users and the Shift key for Windows users. Navigate to where you downloaded the hacked carrier update file named “TMobile_US_iPhone.ipcc,” and select it then click Open.9.      The carrier update should now successfully be installed. Restart your iPhone 5 for any changes to take effect.
10.   If you encounter any problems or wish to revert back just download the file below and repeat the above steps only with the default file instead.

Sid Meier’s Ace Patrol

This universal app breaks the non-game rule for this week, but it fits into the free category, so I’m still on track. The reason this game gets on the list is because it comes from the same game maker that created Civilization and Pirates. This game is a strategy-based flying game that puts you in the seat of a World War I aircraft as you play a turn-based board game against your opponent. You can choose from 30 vintage aircrafts through 120 missions, build a team of “Aces” with different skills, and earn experience points to move up in ranks. This game is available for free.

If you haven’t noticed yet, your device’s Contacts app is probably brimming with an abundance of duplicates. Maybe you’re best friend got married and changed his name.
