Fishing Report

The Snake is just starting to come around and in the meantime we’ve had an incredible spring run down on the Salt River. Currently, the Golden and Salmon Fly hatches have been insane!!! 30 shots/day each day of native cutties and browns. And the afternoon/evening caddis hatch has been off the charts as well. We’re thinking that the Snake River in Jackson Wyoming will be fishable within the next week or so. There’s plenty of water in the Jackson Lake/Reservoir at this time and hopefully it’ll be managed responsibly enough to get through the entire season. We are booking through October 2026!

Current Snake River Flows

As spring runoff continues across the region, river conditions on the Snake are steadily changing. Based on current flows and seasonal trends, we’re targeting April through Mid June as the start of our Snake River guided fishing season — conditions permitting and subject to change.

River Conditions Update

Reservoir releases and snowmelt runoff are continuing to impact flows throughout the Snake River system. Water levels may fluctuate as managers balance reservoir capacity, runoff, and downstream demand.

What This Means for Fishing

Spring conditions can change quickly, but improving weather and stable flows should create great opportunities heading into the season. We’ll continue monitoring conditions closely and provide updated reports as we get closer to prime fishing months.
