After a while and some post processing of course this was the outcome. It included a total of 2 softboxes, one front light, numerous shielding boards and Ducttape.

Here is a picture of the sunrise near Cimalmoto, Switzerland. After hiking the previous day without a path and  difficult routefinding this was a reward the next morning.

Last weekend I was shooting sunsets at Wierum near the Lauwersmeer in The Netherlands. For the closest climbing area you must drive to Groningen for atificial rock or another 4 hours on the Autobahn :) . But I chose to put my sneakers in the muddy Waddenzee at low tide.  The most important thing I learned that day is that water proof boots are better than Adidas sneakers :) . The route Arete SE on the Jumelle. An easy route with 5c+max but with a very difficult approach. In this approach you’ve got to cross scree slopes and 40 degrees steep grass :) . All of this without a path. Postitive is that the needle is not difficult to see from the col.

I was so kind to provide the pictures. He used them on a piece about the bkw (berner energy company. Read it here (in german). The shoot was a bit awkward because the security is very high around the plant. But I managed to shoot some photographs without being chased down by the guards dogs :)

The altitude gain is +- 1300metres and I did it in 2:45 without breaks. Total time was 3:30. Obviously nowbody was there because the hut was closed. I was completely alone in the majestic alpine environment. The picture below is of the hut and it’s surroundings.

Also you’re going it to add to the login and admin pages.

First we must create the favicon. For this we need  a plugin for Photoshop cs5. Which can be downloaded here.  create your favicon and resize is to 16 x 16px, save it as ico. Send the icon to your server and store it in the childtheme folder.

Now we are going to edit the functions.php in your childtheme  folder in your favorite texteditor. If it’s not there please copy the functions.php from the main theme.

add this to the end of the file before the ?>

Template is available of course. I you want it drop me a mail.

Reason to move from Drupal is to learn something new and the framework of WordPress is more suited to my needs. Also the update system of Drupal is a real pain because all of the work involved. switching all your modules off by hand and go back to the default theme is not so nice.
But hey quit all the talk about tech things that keep me awake at night….

The portfolio is being filled and the are some things that are to be added and tweaked. Do you find an error or something nice please post it in the comments :)
