LePou Plugins has released LeGion, a high gain preamp simulator for Windows.

This is an original design, it’s not based on any hardware gear. My goal here was to build a high gain sim that doesn’t need any booster in front in order to be tight.

LeGion features

2 channels, actually two completely different preamp circuits.
2 modes on each channel, rhythm and lead.
2 tonestacks assignable to any of the 2 channels.
Drive and tone controls.
GUI by requietus.

Starplugs releases Vintage MS-Limiter

Starplugs has announced the release of Vintage MS-Limiter, a classic high precision limiter effect plug-in for Windows.

Vintage MS-Limiter is based on an integrated 4-Pole Cascade Limiter concept and introduces an additional MS-Matrix for independent adjustment of the mid- and side-elements of the stereo input signal.

Bremmers Audio Design updates MultitrackStudio to v6.1

Bremmers Audio Design has released version 6.1 of MultitrackStudio, featuring new pitch shifting and time stretching technology powered by Dirac Pro.

The new release also features a built in VSTi bridge, which runs the VSTi plug-in in a separate Windows process. This new feature allows for using all memory available in 64-bit Windows by running multiple 32-bit processes.

Changes in MultitrackStudio v6.1

Vocal Pitch Correction (in audio track editors).
Track editors can stretch or ‘warp’ parts. Both audio and MIDI.
Audio pitch shifting (in audio track editors).
Tempo editor can optionally change tempo of audio tracks.
Audio/MIDI editors can reverse selected part.
VSTi plug-ins can run ‘bridged’ (out-of-process). This can be used to utilise more than 2 GB of RAM on 64 bit systems.
.aem files: you can now browse for any missing edit files.
Audio scrubbing tries to keep original pitch.
MIDI: improved handling of overlapped unison notes (in MIDI files and while playing back)
Pianoroll: “Join Previous Notes” is now “Merge Notes”, and can merge more than two notes.
A couple of bugs have been fixed.
The lower editions now have some features which used to be Pro Plus only. Most notably, scrubbing is now in all versions, and the Professional edition now comes with the Wheel Organ and Electric Piano.

Version 6.1 is available free of charge for users who purchased MultitrackStudio after February 1, 2009. Older versions can be upgraded from Pro Plus for $39 USD, and from Professional for $23 USD.

Voltage Disciple releases Analogue Synplant and ACE Presets Vol 1

Voltage Disciple has released Analogue Synplant and ACE Presets Vol 1, two new sound sets.

Analogue Synplant contains 80 new sounds for Sonic Charge’s Synplant synth.

In it you will find analogue basses, minimal percussion kits,TB303 sounds, SH101 sounds, analogue kicks and snares as well as FX sounds. This is some great analogue food for your SYNPLANT. These sounds have been programmed from the ground up with the gene tool.

Voltage Disciple ACE Presets Vol 1 contains 70 new sounds for the ACE modular synth by U-He.

In it you will find drums, percussion, Fx noises, LFO sounds, analogue basses, pad sounds and modular Fx sounds. This is the first in a series of packs being produced for ACE.

Analogue Synplant and ACE Presets Vol 1 are available to purchase for $20 AUD each.

Voxengo updates SPAN to v2.0

Voxengo has released version 2.0 of SPAN, a freeware real-time “fast Fourier transform” audio spectrum analyzer plug-in for Windows and Mac.

For the most part it was derived from Voxengo GlissEQ dynamic parametric equalizer and reproduces its spectrum analysis functionality.
