Track iPhone Location Realtime with InstaMapper

InstaMapper is a free iphone application which allows you to track your i-phone location online in realtime. The phone you’re tracking will be instantly shown as a moving dot in the map, and the positions can be set to update as often as every 5 seconds. You can embed this map with your current location into your facebook profile as well.

We had previously reviewed iLocalis and ihound software's, which helps you track your stolen iphone for free. Instamapper is also basically a GPS tracking service and can also be used for locating lost iphones as long the GPS Tracker application is running. The location data stored could also be accessed programmatically via an API.

How to track iphone location in realtime

First of all, create an account with Instamapper. After activating your account, log in and add a tracking device. After adding your iphone, you will be given a 13 digit device key.[note it down]

Install GPS tracker application from app store and start the application. Enter your 13 digit device key, and leave the other settings as default and click save.

Login to your account and see the location of your iphone on the map. After all the benchmarking tests, system experts from Microsoft claims that its windows 7 operating system boots up much faster than windows vista. But I usually get the feeling that computer system boot up or startup process gets slower when more and more programs are installed and loaded on initial start up.Even though there are many windows 7 optimizer programs which helps to boot windows 7 faster, i don’t find them much useful these days.So how can we decrease the boot up time for windows 7 without installing any additional software's.

Trick to Speed Up Windows 7 Boot Up

Windows 7 users running on dual core, quad core or any other multi processors can try this effective trick for decreasing the boot up time for windows and boot windows 7 faster without installing any third party softwares.Just do this following procedure.

Open Run dialog box (press windows key + R )

Type MSCONFIG and press enter.

Go to Boot tab

Select the operating system (only for multiboot computers) and click advanced options.

Make sure to check the box for Number of processors, and then select the maximum number count of CPU core processors.

Click Ok and exit configuration window.

Restart computer for above settings to take effect.

This Windows 7 speedup trick works only for systems with multicore processors. Windows OS will now be able to use the full potential of your dual core or quad core systems and make the startup speedier and faster, with less waiting time on black screen and logon screen.

Additional tip: Auto login windows 7 without showing welcome screen and make boot up faster.

p.s: even though this trick is considered to be a myth, it really helped my windows 7 to boot up much faster than before :)

In this post, I’ll show you how to make your own twitter application (bot) which automatically retweets a particular hashtag which appears in its timeline.To make this application you don’t have to be a geek nor write a single line of code by yourself.

What does this Hashtag Retweeter Twitter Bot do ?

This Twitter bot constantly checks tweets in its timeline for a particular hashtag and then retweets that tweet when found. It can be used to create a twitter group or a bot which lists all friends coming for a tweetup.

How to Make Retweeter Twitter Bot in 5 minutes

Download the core file Retweeter (thanks, John Eckman)

Extract the zip file to your hard disk.

Log into your webhost and create a database. (Use the database creation wizard from cpanel)

Open readme.txt file and use the sql code to create tables named "log" and "tweet." [Import the sql code in phpmyadmin panel]

Create a twitter username same as the hashtag you want to retweet.

Open up Retweeter.php file (which you extracted before) with a text editor like WordPad or similar and fill in your database connection details.Also enter the twitter bot’s username and password.

Upload the file retweeter.php to your webhost.

Now for the bot to work,follow everyone who’s tweet you want to search for hashtag. After you have done this, let’s add a cron job to check for hashtag in your friends timeline and retweet that tweet status.

But this login prompt might be annoying if you are the only one using that computer. So if you want to auto login into windows vista without a welcome screen and password prompt, just do these steps.

How To Auto Login Windows Vista without Welcome screen and login prompt

1)Click Start

2)Type netplwiz and press enter.

3)You will see a window similar to the above.Now select the user you want to auto login by default.

4)Then uncheck the box “Users must enter a user name and password to use this computer” as shown below.

5)After clicking ok, a window will pop up asking for your password.Enter the password if you have set one, otherwise leave it blank.

5)Click OK.

Now you will be able to log in to windows vista or windows 7 without password and will never see that nasty welcome screen.

Recycler virus spreads mainly though removable medias like USB flash drives / pen drives,external HD’s or even iPods and mobile phone memory cards.These viruses exploit the autorun feature of windows and can be found in different names inside flash drives like recycler.exe, flashguard.exe, newfolder.exe and also create replicas using the same folder name which they occupy.So how can we completely remove recycler virus and safeguard our PC.

How Recycler Virus Work and spreads from computer to computer.

The main reason a computer gets infected with recycler virus is by exploiting the autorun feature available in windows (mainly windows xp).It copies the autorun.inf files on each drive of the computer, be it permanent or a removable media such as DVDs, CD ROMs, USB Devices, or Memory Sticks.The purpose of the autorun.inf file is to activate the actual executable virus present in the drive.In this case it’s recycler.exe.Here is the code from the autorun.inf file which executes recycler virus when the drive is opened.

Once you open the infected USB drive, the recycler virus executes and copies itself inside every open folder with different name.It uses a batch file to modify the system registry and executes itself each time the system starts up.You cannot remove the virus even after formatting your removable drive. The anti-virus software may detect it but cannot remove it.

Some versions of this virus,is known to connect to external websites and download malicious code to your hard drive and steal information's like credit card data,password,history logs etc.Also,it disables task manager,antivirus software's,folder options,control panel and all utilities which deals with PC security.

How to Re Enable folder options,regedit,msconfig and task manager disabled by autorun virus

To re-enable these options,you could use Remove Restrictions Tool.Run RRT as an administrator(in Windows Vista) to perform actions and restore all the options.

After running the RRT,click check all and then remove.Now you will be able to see all the hidden autorun and recycler files by checking “Show hidden files” in the folder options.

How to remove Recycler/ Autorun Virus from Flash Drive

[optional] You can use Flash Disinfector to remove the virus from USB/flash drives.Download this tool and save it to your hard disk [and not portable drive].Run this software and insert your infected flash drive when prompted.

After clicking OK,the desktop will go blank for few seconds[it’s normal] and removes the autorun virus.
