About Electronic Awakening:
The film features dozens of experts, visionaries, and published authors who explore the premise that Electronic Music is spiritual technology that allows access to higher states of consciousness. Filmed over a period of 5 years at events such as Burning Man, Earthdance, LoveFest, Moontribe, Wicked, Shambhala and the Boom Festival in Portugal.

Electronic Awakening reviews rave’s evolution from large-scale commercial events to smaller gatherings in remote locations. The film offers insight into the inner workings of the brain and its metaphysical connection to the repetitive beats that allow for that sense of oneness, unity and freedom that millions feel on the dance floor. It also investigates this culture’s significance to the prophecies of 2012, how this bizarre and sacral relationship to electronic music has evolved the group over time, and where it all seems to be leading them.

With world-renowned artists such as Shpongle, The Crystal Method, Vibrasphere, Random Rab, Phutureprimitive, Androcell, Bird of Prey, Sheff, Jason Knight, Govinda, Gladkill, Desert Dwellers, Eastern Sun, Solar Fields, Grouch, Satsi and many more…

About Osiris:
The Osiris Burners are a cooperative effort between multiple disciplines – builders, visionaries, engineers, welders, artists, musicians, and raw muscle – whose collaborative efforts have manifested as OSIRIS. Our mission is to bring a gift worthy of the pharaohs to the Citizens of Black Rock City, a scale replica of a pyramid to adorn the playa skyline. The pyramid, designed by a structural engineering team, will be constructed from 8” steel pipe, and will stand 57 feet high at the center, 90 x 90 feet at the base, and feature a wind and UV resistant cover.

The goal is to fill the vacancy left by the 10:00 anchor. We have created this impressive structure to visually and creatively stimulate the playa, and like the Phoenix rose from the ashes, OSIRIS serves to bring something new, fresh and exciting to the Esplanade. The pyramid will house a 145,000 watt sound system and will be host to a DJ lineup featuring DJs DJs Travis T, DJ Mira,…and may more!

We will be hosting camp events for the Burn Week – nightly DJs playing the hottest, drrrtyest music, a day party with an Angels and Devils theme, Camel(toe) Races, Play HORSE with Jesus. etc

As astro-trash creatures across the galaxy re-think the meaning of “home”, we once again converge upon the 6th annual event that closes the airlock and launches us all… IN SPACE! Cosmonaut/Alien/Homeless/Black Rock costumes will abound, with stellar entertainment including space-age dance DJ’s, The DLN’s Midnight Extravaganza, and a weird 70′s retro space band from France(?) called “Les Spass”.

Yuri’s Night is a global celebration of humanity’s past, present, and future in space. Yuri’s Night parties and events are held around the world every April in commemoration of April 12, 1961, the day of cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin’s first manned spaceflight, and April 12, 1981, the inaugural launch of NASA’s Space Shuttle. Last year, the 50th anniversary of human spaceflight, over 100,000 people attended 567 officially-recognized events in 75 countries on all 7 continents. For more on the event including Yuri’s Night locations around the world and beyond, visit www.YurisNight.net .

As the last two of Yuri’s Night events sold out, Mission Control recommends that you acquire your $12 pre-sale boarding pass early at any of these stellar locations:

The Underground Nightclub
555 E 4th St, Reno

The Melting Pot World Emporium
1049 S. Virginia St, Reno

Prism Magic
2161 Pyramid Way, Sparks

**The latter two locations also offer great costume and accessories to complete your astro-trash look in all its glory… IN SPACE!

About C-Money & The Players Inc:

C-Money – Slightly Stoopid Trumpet, Keyboard player.
Southern by birth, basic and fundamental music, vocabulary and morals, Christofer “C-Money” Welter was made to be a musician. Best known for his work in John Brown’s Body where he played the keys and trumpet, and his work as the keyboardist and trumpet player for Slightly Stoopid, one of the most notable, top reggae bands to come out of Southern California since Sublime, C-Money is one of the most innovative, creative, and rising musicians in the business today. While in John Brown’s Body, C-Money recorded four full-length albums with the band, and toured with them for 8 years. The 8-person group quickly became one of the best-known artists in the modern reggae scene, winning the “Best World Music Act” at the 2001 Boston Music Awards and “Best Live Act” the next year. In 2006 he joined Slightly Stoopid, adding a dimension and element to the band that would take them to a whole new level.

Slightly Stoopid grew to become one of the most successful independent artists of the decade, their album catalog sales topping the 700,000 mark and the group toured the most prestigious concert venues around the world. They went on to play some of the most notable music festivals in the country year after year including: Coachella, Lollapalooza, Austin City Limits, New Orleans Jazz Fest, and played sold out shows not only across the US but in Australia, Japan, Guam, Amsterdam, Portugal, Denmark, the UK, Germany, Holland, and The Dominican Republic. More recently the band released “Slightly Not Stoned Enough To Eat Breakfast Yet Stoopid” in 2008, played KROQ’s Acoustic Christmas and toured with Snoop Dogg in 2009, and in 2010 played at the Sundance Film Festival and on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Now, in 2010 C-Money is set to release his debut, full-length solo effort entitled “Family Business.”

About Codi Jordan band:
The Codi Jordan Band is a Reggae Rock band running in the same vein as popular acts Sublime, The Dirty Heads and Slightly Stoopid. Hailing from the greater Salt Lake City area the band has toured relentlessly across the west spreading their homegrown “mountain town meets the Beach” sound across 12 states and hundreds of stages. Front man Codi Jordan grew up in the small ski town of Eden, Utah. Both of Codi’s parents grew up in Southern California but opted to move to Utah in search of mountains and snow. For Codi, having family in Southern California led to a fascination and love for the southern CA lifestyle, the Ocean and the budding reggae/rock/surf/punk scene. Codi began writing lyrics and composing music at the age of 12 years old; a few years later he was introduced to the recording studio by a local hip-hop artist who noticed Codi playing and singing at a local house party. The “Vacation” CD came out in 2008 and was voted local album of the year by Weber State University’s local radio station. Codi quickly enlisted Bass player Cameron Goldsberry, Drummer Jonny Knoder both from Ogden, UT and Lead Guitar Player Mike Lee also from the Eden area. Once the band was complete a group effort was put forth in the studio. The Album Positivity soon followed in 2011. The band has had the pleasure of sharing the stage with Dashboard Confessional, The Dirty Heads, The Neon Trees, The Expendables, Trevor Hall, and Tomorrows Bad Seeds and many more. The band has also toured on several dates in support of Katchafire and Passafire.

About Kate From American Idol:
Ninteen year old Kat Nestel from Orange County, California who favors being known just by her first name Kat, headed north to Los Angeles for her first tryouts and audition for the Season 9 American Idol singing talent search competition.

Her arrival at the Rose Bowl which is actually in Pasadena, California, not Los Angeles, was a rather fruitful one because she won over the panel of judges who rewarded her with the golden ticket to Hollywood after hearing her sing “Saw Red.”

Allegedly, Kat Nestel believes that her mission and purpose in life is to sing and make music and so that is where her passion and energy are focused as she write original tunes to the lyrics she composes herself, as she strums the strings of her guitar, as she glides her fingers over the white and black keys of her piano and, of course, as she sings her own pieces or someone else’s. We at American Buzz consider Kat Nestel to be one very talented young lady, wouldn’t you?

Infusing their own unique sound, witty lyrics and unbelievable musical talent with funk, blues and rock overtones is what allows ZEN ROBBI to set themselves apart from any other band on the music scene today.
