There were four RRs, an open and a junior tournament.

Overall results

GM-1-GM Dvoirys won with 6/9.
GM-2-GM Avrukh won with 6/9.
IM-1-WIM Efroimski ,FM Ofir and IM Battaglini shared first with 6.5/9.
IM-2-IM Kaspi won with 6/9.
Open-Erenberg, Ariel(ISR) and D'Israel Davy(BRA) were equal first with 7.5/9. Unrated Siegal, Matthew(CAN) finished with 4/9.

Once every four years, the best Jewish sportsmen from all around the world come together to compete in the Maccabiah Games. Some of them even made Aliyah afterwards.

Even though some people still dispute the fact that chess is a sport, the royal game has been recognized as a sport and included in the Maccabiah Games as early as 1935. In fact, it is the most successful branch in Israeli sport, regarding the quantity of world-class achievements.

'Nowadays, apps can be more than 1 gigabyte in size, some magazines (which do things a paper magazine could never do) can tip the scale at 500 MB, a big music collection can easily fill up a whole iPad, and movies also eat up space with their 1 to 2 gigabyte weight.

That’s why I implore people to get the maximum space on their devices – 64 gigs can be filled up in the blink of an eye (thank god for the 128 gig iPad, which I’ll upgrade to in the near future).

This article is for people that own iPads, iPhones, and/or the iPod Touch. And it’s for people that want chess on those devices! Since the iTunes store is packed with chess apps, I’ll only discuss apps that I deem tops in their category...(see complete article)'

The solid Meran formation that black can adopt is a tough nut to crack but Delchev proposes the 9.Rg1!? idea to be followed by a kingside pawn storm. Black played 10...Qe7, a move not mentioned by Delchev, in the feature game but eventually lost.

The loss however, was not related to the opening.

Part One
Arguably, Paul Keres was the greatest chess player in history never to win the World Championship. For this reason, he is sometimes dubbed "The Crown Prince" of chess.

In fact, however, Keres did win the 1938 AVRO "super tournament" in Holland, ostensibly to earn the right to challenge Alexander Alekhine, the acknowledged World Chess Champion.

Unfortunately- to say the least- World War Two interrupted the plans, and the match never materialized- although, perhaps controversially, both Alekhine and Keres continued to play chess in Germany during the war. Keres married in 1941 and won the "Posen tournament" of 1943 which was organized and hosted by the Wehrmacht, the German army.

Part Two
Paul Keres participated in six Candidate's cycles to determine who had the right to challenge the World Chess Champion. In the last five of these events, Keres finished 2nd or joint 2nd.

This is why he is known as the "Crown Prince of Chess"- he never became King, but of all of the Princes, he was surely first among these.
