After a couple of weeks of hanging out with the lift, I realised that I was getting pretty lazy. So now anytime I want to photocopy something, I take the stairs. The other day, I walked past the lift and it opened and showed me its empty belly, and I felt like the worst kind of friend, ever. So now when I walk past to get to the stairs, I say hello, and tell the lift the quick version of my secrets. I think we're kool now. Yeah, we're kool.

When I went back to work after the holidays, I was in a bit of a funk. I spent a lot of time telling the lift all my secrets. The lift was a good listener, plus it took me up to the top floor so that I could do some photocopying.

These guys come from space and stick their stingers into your brain, and turn you into their zombie slaves. Earth wasps do this to cockroaches and then lay their eggs in the cockroaches' stomachs. So, I guess it could be worse.
