REPUBLICOF3 - An Online Web Design Magazine

The use of effective design in targeting and attracting the audience is recommended immensely. Some people might not realize its importance, yet there are some people who visit some websites simply because of their eye-catching layout and design, apart from their favorite websites. Today, we are going to base our discussion on such websites. Now the question arises as to why we need to focus on them? You can also be the owner of such a website by just having a proper blend of design skills, marketing knowledge, and appropriate strategy.

It is very important to identify the correct target audience before implementing the strategy. This is perhaps one of the most important steps determining the success of strategy. If target audience is not correctly identified, the entire strategy is likely to fail. Today’s article will throw light upon web interfaces, their usability and certain other details.

How Simplistic Web Design Tips Can Attract Niche Audiences

Ok, Let's Go!

Today I'd like to share with you one of my own techniques, the use of pseudo-elements
:nth-child(N)
/
:first-child
/
: last-child
/
:before
/
:after
which are really a way to save time if you know how to use it the correctly.

Tutorial: How :nth-child(N) Can Make Your Life Easier

REPUBLICOF3 - An Online Web Design Magazine

What Does the UX Designer’s Job Entail?

The requirement of the UX designer and his job responsibilities primarily vary based on the company objectives and portfolio. A company like Mule Design Studio, for instance, employs a dozen website designers and primarily concentrates on editorial-oriented websites. Hence, in such structures, the primary work will probably revolve around the production, maintenance and updating of the documentations. Hence, all aspects directly or indirectly related to the enhancements of documents is included in the job description for the UX designer inclusive f the designing of wireframes or user flows, site maps, content audits, competitive analyses amongst others. At a company similar to the structure of Mule, the aspects of UX designer will be involved in aspects of business research and development, information structure, visual design, front-end designs and development, documentation, and client hand-off support. Furthermore, there would be very limiting backend development needed from the UX designer who will perhaps also be required to present the projects as well as partake in regular content writing like on blog sites, etc.

UX Design Jobs: What is it Like and How to Get One

The fact of the matter is that while majority of the web designers are male their end users are primarily female – the sooner they realize and cater to this fact, the more success they will have. The one aspect that designers must avoid at all time is to create anything that could potentially be derogatory towards their majority end users.
